Angela Moreira

Journalist, English Teacher, Permacultor, Storyteller and Artist. In Brasil, graduated at Hélio Alonso Faculdade de Comunicação e Turismo. In London(where she lived for 9 years), Graduated from Desmond Jones School of Mime and Physical Theatre, with Master Degree in Theatre For Development Of Communities (King’s Alfred College, England). She lived in England, London (1990/99), where she co-created Tata Didi Theater Group, a Physical Theatre Company which performed in many european festivals (including Edimburgh International Theatre Festival, London International Mime festival and Perrigot Mime Festival) with the play Doctor Zingaro’s Secret . She has facilitated workshops with Theatre and Storytelling for Development for women at Holloway Prison (London) and street children in Colombia .
Back to Brasil in 2000, she has been working with Permaculture, storytelling, english interpretation and art, in the south, southeast and Northeast of Brazil. In Curitiba(south) she also co-created the Little Feat Puppet Theatre , a theatre company that presented shows in English, in schools and theatre. Currently, she works as an interpreter and English Teacher at Cultura Inglesa and also do presentations and run workshops on Storytelling and Theatre for Development.
