Everything is new and works well. Super clean. You get the space all to yourself. Great sunlight and huge windows. Fully stocked kitchen.
Don't leave the AC or lights on when you're not in the apartment.
Hi, I'm a long-term China resident originally from Boston. I first came here ten years ago to study Chinese literature, and since then my life has been a process of almost constant learning and discovery.
I now work in PR/marketing/translation for a business management consultancy. Just recently, I got the opportunity to untether myself from the office so I want to try travelling around a bit more. Hopefully, renting out my apartment while I'm away will let me have a taste of life as a "digital nomad" as opposed to "homeless person!"
I may not or may not be around to welcome you in person, but I will definitely be available by phone to help you out if you run into any problems with the apartment or around the city.
My loft is quite compact, but it's very clean and much newer than most other places you'll find in Shanghai. That means the central air, appliances, water pressure, etc., are better than what you'll find in many other apartments. Also, if you like cooking, you'll fine the kitchen well stocked with everything you need for Chinese-style cooking (an interest of mine).
Look forward to hearing from you!
