This "needle-in-the-haystack" gem is a top notch choice. Friendly, very comfortable, centrally located. We walked practically everywhere we went in this town. This will definitely be a return trip for the future. Lucy made us feel at home and was very helpful. Breakfast was delicious!!!! Relaxation at its best.
We had a great stay at this surprisingly cute and very reasonably priced Inn! The room was very comfortable and was well stocked and the Inn keeper Lucy was extremely accommodating and friendly! We even had our little dog with us and she just loves dogs so that was a huge bonus.... This is a great place to stay and only a couple blocks from the waterfront and it's very quiet and we highly recommend it!
We had a wonderful stay at The Inn at Oriental. Lucy was so hospitable and flexible with our check in/check out times. We immediately felt right at home and loved how quiet and private our room was. We needed to bring our dog along with us and she was very accommodating to our pet needs and our room was truly pet friendly. Breakfast was customized, delicious, and served right on time. Definitely recommend this charming place and we can't wait to return!
Lucy contacted me by phone almost immediately after my initial inquiry since I was trying to book at the last minute. She explained everything in detail-how to get there, how to pick up the key, what room we would be staying in-everything. When we arrived, she came out to greet us as we were approaching the door offering assistance with our bags and taking us directly to our rooms. She offered refreshment, told us how to select our breakfast, where happy hour would be held, and offered suggestions on local sites. There are a great many books including some on local history, maps, and magazines. Lucy and Lou offered just enough contact-giving us privacy yet being very friendly-loved talking with them at happy hour. The room was large, very nicely decorated, had a very comfortable bed and came with perks like bottled water, toiletries-even makeup wipes. Breakfast was great! The Inn is situated very central and easy walking distance to many shops and restaurants. The community theatre is across the block.
