“A very beautiful fish restaurant, in hersonissos, a little outside heraklion, with a magnificent sea view! its ideal to swim there, even if its windy and with waves, at the small gulfs under the restaurant you can swim safe, and then just go up and enjoy your wine and fish!”

“Crystal waters embrace the coasts of the area, and in many places the bottom has rocks in which many tourists diving using rental diving equipment. On the sandy beaches with shallow waters, there is plenty of sunbathing and relaxation area in front of the large hotels. At the eastern point of Anissaras is the very picturesque chapel of Agios Georgios of Sarandaris, which has a magnificent view across the bay of Hersonissos. Nearby a stairway leads to the beach, where umbrellas and wooden plunge platforms are placed. Nature lovers can enjoy nice little or long walks on the 3.5 km long beach or the surrounding hills and slopes. Along the coastal road that connects Anissaras with Hersonissos Harbor, the visitor will come across many small beaches, known as Limanakia.”
