“Remember we try to be plastic free so make sure you take your own bag or ask the shop for one of their 'boomerang' bags. They will lend you a material bag that has been made by a local and your 'boomerang' bring it back to the shop. Secret: the pies they sell are AMAZING!”

“BUS STOP Cash or GoCard. And you can even take a bike. Bus stop with timetable info is right outside the 4Square store on Adamson Drive. You can go anywhere on the Queenstown network for just $2 with a GoCard, plus you’ll get a free 30-minute transfer with a GoCard. You can get a GoCard from your bus driver for $5. The minimum top up for GoCards is $10. GoCards can be topped up anywhere that they’re sold. You don’t need a GoCard to take the bus, you can pay for your fare with cash. However, a cash fare is $5 per trip for an adult and $4 for a child – and for trips that begin or end at the airport, the cash fare is $10. It’s cheaper with GoCard.”

“This hiking/biking trails runs directly across the road from our property and can be ridden or walked all the way to Queenstown. However some of the most scenic parts of the trails are between Gibbston and Arrowtown with a track that runs for about 2km along the spectacular Kawarau Gorge and river. The track is not overly challenging so appropriate for people of all ages and fitness levels.”
