Beer Garden

“This is a biker-welcome establishment. They have a web site of their own and it says you can bring your own steaks and grill them there. Sounds neat. Never been there personally because we prefer enjoying quiet evenings at home, but it seems to be popular and welcoming.”

Restaurant mexicain

“If you're walking Main St. in Bandera, this is a good and reasonably priced comfort food type of place. Bre always gets the pancakes, day or night because they are so good and they're under $4 for a short stack (you cannot eat any more than that)! If you happen to like John Wayne, you're in luck because there are pictures of him EVERYWHERE in here :)”

“We bought this restaurant with our son Brick and his wife Jennifer in April of 2006 and it's still a locals favorite. Live music on the weekends too!”

“This little museum is PACKED full of interesting pieces and history. It could take you all day to get through it. It contains a lot of history of the Old West and of Bandera.”

Parc
“This is our favorite swimming hole and picnic spot in the area. Free on weekdays and (I think) $5/pp on the weekends. For clear shallow water good for wading and for kids, drive down towards the end of the park for a fun swimming area!”

Marché
“This is the nearest grocery store to us. The prices are higher than in Kerrville or Boerne, but it is convenient and everyone is friendly. There is a Subway restaurant inside the market and a bakery.”

“This is one of our favorite haunts! Nope its not cowboy, but it has a great selection of wine and local craft beer as well as a cheese tray to die for! Their salads and pizzas are good too!”

“This antique mall houses collections from many collectors and artists. Its much bigger than it looks from the outside. There are at least 2 floors...I get lost.”

“The meat market also houses a great restaurant--the Ranch House where you can get really great steaks (and other southern comfort foods)! Housed in a historic building just off of Main Street, you'll like the ambiance and hospitality.”
