“Set on the sky-high perch of the 58th floor, this is one of KL's loftiest restaurants, with a starry view that even eagles would envy. Its menu is masterminded by local chef de cuisine Daniel Wong (who honed his craft in Hong Kong, Beijing and Singapore) and supervised by Austrian executive chef Alexander Waschl (whose work in Malaysia has consistently impressed us for nearly a decade). As the sun sets on the Horizon, the venue is garlanded in a gentle, golden glitter and glow, with the kitchen firing up its Santa Maria oak pit grill, loaded with a bed of white charcoal, the source of its signature steak specialities. Horizon Grill is meant to be a fuss-free space that'll function equally well for both celebratory occasions or a casual night out. Additional Information:- Horizon Grill Level 58, Banyan Tree Kuala Lumpur, Jalan Conlay, Kuala Lumpur. Open daily for breakfast, 630am-1030am; lunch, 12pm-3pm; dinner, 630pm-1030pm. Private rooms available. Tel: 603-2113-1821 ”

“ROCKU Yakiniku, a casual, upbeat and edgy Yakiniku restaurant at the new Pavilion Kuala Lumpur Level 7 Dining Loft. Delivering a fresh concept to traditional Yakiniku joints, ROCKU Yakiniku defies convention by melding a traditional style of Japanese dining with modern entertainment, perfectly characterizing Japanese pop culture. Guest can savour their food hot throughout the entire meal, and there’s no better way to enjoy the tantalizing cuts of meat, ranging from beef to lamb, pork and chicken, flown in all the way from Australia and New Zealand. ROCKU also entertains and enthralls guests with live band performances that play modern and classic music with various genres such as Pop-Rock, Acoustic and Jazz. In addition, ROCKU also captivates audiences consistently on Friday nights, with a magician demonstrating close-up and on-stage magic tricks which enhances the ambiance of the restaurant.”
