Cave à bières

“Much more than a neighborhood bar and bottle shop. The only thing that matters here is beer. Try their wide variety of bottled beers, or one of their occasional house beers, if it happens to be on tap. They also have three hand pumps, which few bars in Barcelona have. The crowd’s a mix of neighbors, workers from the nearby 22@Barcelona innovation district, and visitors in the know. The owners Quim and Angie have been promoting beer culture since 2009 with activities such as La Fira del Poblenou, celebrated on the first weekend of July, which gathers 50 brewers and food trucks along Bogatell Beach. It’s a classic during the Barcelona summer!”

“THE place for tapas in Poble Nou. Fresher and more imaginative cuisine than their neighbours on the Rambla and not expensive for the quality. No tables on the Rambla sadly but it's all about the food.”
