“Geylang Serai Market is one of the biggest and busiest wet markets in Singapore. A market in a traditional Malay kampong house. The second floor of Geylang Serai Market is home to hundreds of food stalls with main focus on Malay and Indian cuisine. This is the best food court to enjoy Malay dishes such as asam pedas stingray (spicy stingray), beef rendang (spicy beef), ikan terubok (fried fish) and goreng pisang (banana fritters).”

Juice Bar
“Located in the Kembangan neighbourhood, Fresh Fruits Lab is a must-visit for folks who are staying in the East of Singapore. It is a bright and cheerful spot that is tastefully designed to a laboratory theme. Think iced water served in beakers, and fruit juices served in test tubes and conical flasks. The menu is also specially designed to incorporate a fruity element; even their side salads for the main courses come with generous chunks of fresh fruits.”

“Nestled in the former Paramount Hotel, amidst a largely laidback residential neighbourhood, Group Therapy at Katong is one of our favourite spots when we're yearning for an intimate setting with a charming ambiance. Exuding both character and charm, and with an aroma of scrumptious delights greeting diners as they enter, this is the place to go when brunch is on the mind”

Boulangeries

Boulangerie
“Tracing back to its humble beginnings in year 2004, Baker’s Well started out as a labour of love which produced homemade products from their ovens for everyone to enjoy. Ten years down the road, the owner’s niece and partner have joined their efforts in putting their design and industrial skills to help rebrand and refurbish the Baker’s Well. What we see today is a beautiful shopfront and an artistic concept that encompasses the interior of the bakery cafe. Baker’s Well serves an array of delicious artisan bakes ranging from bread, cookies, muffins, pastries to cakes”
