“Batsford Arboretum is a beautiful place to visit all year round. With interest all year round from the first snowdrops of Spring, right through to the outstanding autumn colours in October and November. Winter time is made extra special with the ice, frost and snow adding a magical touch. Our very own local Winter Wonderland. Dogs are also very welcome!”

“The rooftop terrace is perfect on a summers evening - highly recommend. You can literally spend a day quite happily at Huxleys from breakfast, morning coffee, pastries and cakes to some great light lunches and more substantial evening meals. It is licensed and has a rooftop terrace as well as side outside terrace - perfect for that Prosecco on a summers evening. Also known to have live music throughout the weekend evenings in the summer months - a very cool place to hang out. Huxleys are dog friendly too.”
