Situated on 36 acres, this working farm is 2 miles West of Taylors Falls. Feel free to ask them to show you around or even get your hands dirty with them as they plant or harvest.
With the St. Croix River and several state parks to hike, bike, rock climb, canoe or kayak there's no shortage of outdoor activities! Other area attractions are Wild Mountain Waterpark, Trollhaugen Zip Line and Adventure Park, Franconia Sculpture Park and Taylors Falls Scenic Boat Tours. There is fun for everyone! If that's not your cup of tea, visit one of the many wineries or antique stores in the area, stay on the farm to enjoy it's beauty and solitude or ask Dan and Danielle for a tour of their orchard! The quaint towns of Taylors Falls, St. Croix Falls, Oseola and Stillwater offer so much to do! Plan your stay with them today!

Snuggled in the woods in the southeast section of Burnett County, you will find a rustic, minimally maintained, one-room camper cabin. Only accessible by foot, fat bike, snowshoes, skis, or horseback (during the summer & fall), the camper cabin provides a basic shelter for people that want the "camping experience" without having to handle a tent, or have the weather ruin their visit. Within walking distance of the Timberland Hills X-country ski area and the Ice Age Trail.
COVID-19 -- The minimal cleaning provided does not include disinfecting or sterilization of this facility. You are choosing to use at your own risk. As a precaution, we recommend that you bring some sanitary wipes or sprays with you and simply wipe off the doorknobs, counter, table and any other area to help combat against the spread of the Coronavirus (COVID-19), or for that matter, any other germs. The camper cabin is 10x24 feet in size with an attached deck. Inside is a table, benches, wood stove, and wooden bunk beds with foam mattresses. No linens or pillows are provided, so be sure to bring your sleeping bag. No electricity or running water is available, however, there is a pit toilet and a wood stove for heat in the winter months. We do try to keep a supply of wood onsite for use in the wood stove. You are NOT allowed to carry in any wood. If the supply is depleted, there is plenty of dead and down wood around the cabin area that you are allowed to collect for your use. An ax and saw is provided for your use. Please keep in mind that the cabin is not heated when not rented. In cold temperatures, it will take a few hours for the cabin to warm up. You will want to get a fire going and take a hike or go skiing for awhile to let the cabin get comfortable. Outside the camper cabin is a deck, fire ring with grate, log benches, picnic table, and outhouse. You'll want to be sure to clean up all your food so not to attract bears or other animals to the site. Accessibility: The camper cabin is accessible only by foot, fat bike, snowshoes, skis, or horseback (summer and fall months only). No motorized vehicles of any kind are allowed. The hike to the cabin is about 1/2 mile, with some hills. The hike can be quite muddy in the spring or after heavy rain, and you will be walking through snow in the winter. Bring appropriate footwear. When hiking or snowshoeing in during skiing season, please stay on opposite side of diagonal tracks in a single file line. Capacity: Up to 6 people. There is a bunk bed with 2 full size mattresses and another bunk bed with 2 twin size mattresses. Additional overnight guests are not allowed. Your well-behaved pets are allowed. It is your responsibility to clean up after your pets. Bathroom: There is an outhouse available year-round. Water: There is no indoor plumbing or access to potable water. You will need to carry water in, so plan accordingly. The closest place to purchase water would be in the town of Barronett, which is appr. 8.5 miles southeast. Electricity: There is no electricity in the cabin. Be sure to bring your battery powered headlamps or lanterns. Candles or any other open flames are not allowed inside the cabin (other than what you use to light the wood stove). Cooking: There is a fire ring with a grate for cooking outside. You are in bear country, so be sure to clean up all food residue so as not to attract any unwanted, furry visitors. No open flames are allowed inside the cabin, however, cooking is permitted if the weather does not allow you to use the grate over the campfire ring and during the winter months with your pans or kettles on the wood stove. You may also bring a portable propane cook stove. Please use extra caution when cooking indoors. Heat: There is a wood stove in the cabin. Matches, lighters or other ignition sources are NOT provided, so please plan accordingly. In cold temperatures, it will take a few hours for the cabin to warm up. You will want to get a fire going and take a hike or go skiing for awhile. Once it's warm, it's good and cozy! Campfires: Fires are only permitted within the fire ring. All fires must be extinguished and cool enough to touch with your hand before leaving the site. You are responsible if the campfire gets away. You are liable for all expenses incurred in suppressing the fire and will be responsible for all damages caused by this fire. Campfires are not allowed when County or State emergency fire regulations are in effect. Firewood: You are NOT allowed to bring in wood from another area. We do try to keep a supply of wood for the wood stove to heat the cabin. If that supply has been depleted, you are allowed to collect dead and down wood from the surrounding area for the campfire ring, or the wood stove if needed. No cutting of live trees or shrubs is allowed. An ax and saw will be provided for use. Smoking: No smoking or vaping is allowed inside the camper cabin. If you do smoke, please do so outside disposing the butts in the fire ring or designated ash can.
The camper cabin is within walking distance to the Ice Age Trail, along with countless opportunities for hiking throughout the hundreds of acres of county forest land. Enjoy picking berries, mushrooms, tree seeds, or other edible fruits in the forest during their seasons! Just note that collection must not damage the plants or the natural features of the land. Know what you are consuming. You will be in the Timberland Hills Ski Area: during the months of December through March, guests are able to use the 30 KM of groomed trails for cross country skiing. There is also an established trail for fat bikes and skijoring. Hiking, hunting, horseback riding (in the summer and fall), and biking are popular activities the rest of the year. Mosquitoes, ticks, and bees do exist. You may want to bring along some repellent. Hearing loons, owls, coyotes, and other wildlife at night is quite common. Remember, this is bear country. Approximately 26 miles northwest of the cabin is the town of Siren. Once there you will find gas stations, a grocery store, auto repair, numerous restaurants, a movie theater, shopping, beaches, parks, mini-golf, and a golf course just west of town. About 3 miles from the cabin is a place where you can wet your whistle and get a bite to eat called the Timberland Bar & Grill. About 8 miles east is the small town of Barronett. They have a gas station, a couple of restaurants, a tire shop, and an organic grocery store. Cumberland Memorial Hospital is approximately 13 miles southeast in Cumberland, WI. Burnett County has over 150 thousand acres of public land with over 111 thousand acres of that being County Forest Land. Hunters come from afar during various seasons to pursue their game of choice, including whitetail deer, black bear, Canadian geese, ducks, ruffed grouse, and wild turkey. Catch some fish in any of our rivers, streams, or from one of our hundreds of lakes. Burnett County is home to the Jordan Buck, the Wisconsin record black bear, and the state record Hook and Line sturgeon.

New 520 sf 'not too tiny' house on 20 wilderness acres. Year 'round hot tub. Dog friendly. RV & EV plug. Firepit. Your Snowshoe Creek and Little Wood Lake trails. Free canoe, kayak, paddleboat. $30/day mini-pontoon boat. Fishing. Internet. WiFi. AC. Gas Fireplace. Sleep by Number. Lovely bathroom. New gas stove. Ice maker. 2 TVs. 3 towns + Burnett Dairy/Bistro, 4 golf courses, DQ to fine dining, mini-golf, antiquing, multi-theater, Siren beach & 'Music in Park'. Wildlife! You'll return.
This is like nothing else you'll see or visit on this entire site. Experience the art of living more fully by cutting off commonality and grow emotionally by getting back in touch with unfettered nature. Sit and lean up against a huge tree just feet from the spring-fed creek and watch it flow over the sandy bottom even in the snow of winter. 'Now you're talkin' - without saying a word. Be quiet enough to hear the owl or loon sing right into your soul.
We live across the creek and upstream yet far from you. Why after traveling the world did we end up here? Handy to the grandkids in White Bear Lake, yet a rare and raw piece of wilderness. For you? Close enough to get here quickly. Yet, an environmental 180 to put life back in balance. Hopefully, you'll find it hard to leave and easy to come back for another recharge.

Our cave suite is part of Minnesota's first B&B! Formerly a saloon built in 1869, this apartment/suite is complete with a large cave that once led into tunnels connecting the saloon into a brewery. While the cave no longer stores beer, it does have a luxury bath built into it, with both a whirlpool tub and a walk in shower. This suite is perfect for a romantic getaway in beautiful Taylor's Falls. Come celebrate honeymoons, anniversaries, or just because in a beautiful and unique suite.
This is an entire apartment in the Old Jail Bed and Breakfast. We are no longer able to serve breakfast, but we give each guest a breakfast voucher for the Chisago House restaurant right across the street. This apartment is equipped with a full kitchen, along with dining area, living area, studio bedroom, and of course the stunning bath.
We are in the heart of downtown Taylor's Falls. There are restaurants, bars, a coffee shop, and Interstate State Park all within walking distance. There are several wineries in the area and lots of places to stroll around and take in the scenery.

Our place is good for couples, solo adventurers, and business travelers. You'll love our place because our road takes you along the scenic St. Croix River. Our rustic log cabin echoes back to 1858, with a gentle expansion in 1992. Come and cozy up in an honest place where you can tuck in for a time, or venture out into Taylors Falls for: -Canoeing and Kayaking -Hiking and Biking Trails -Rock Climbing -Summer Water Park -Miniature Golfing -Winter Skiing, Snowboarding and Tubing -Wineries
Our cabin offers a newly remodeled lower level for our guests. This is private and includes a bathroom with heated floors, shower and claw foot bath tub. We also provide a small refrigerator, microwave, electric water pot, French press with offerings. Fresh fruit in season for breakfast with hot cereal or granola, yogurt and a snack or two to snatch for the road.
Our neighborhood is spread out and has both summer cabins and year round homes. Again, our cabin is secluded and there is no view of a cabin or home in sight.

You’ll love my place because of the high ceilings, the uniqueness, the location, & the private cafe table outside.
This is a SMALL studio apartment (bedroom with kitchenette) with a private bathroom with toilet, vanity, and stand-up shower. The thermostat controls for the heat are in the bathroom. AC unit for the main room. There is a small kitchenette, dresser, hangers, TV, Wi-Fi, and access to a stone patio. Right off of main street in downtown St Croix Falls. Guest access You will be given an electronic keycode and instructions to use this lock system the morning of check-in. You will use this keycode to lock and unlock the main door to the apartment. You may check-in without meeting us (which is why we are flexible on check-in time) but if you need anything, we are close by and can help you with anything. Other things to note There are two apartments and the private bedroom that we rent out at the Luminaries Building so if you are traveling with others and want to stay together, please also check out the listings for The Artist's Loft and The Peacock Loft. There is also a patio that anyone can sit on and enjoy. Although we are off of Main Street, road noise is usually limited in the Copper Room but feel free to bring a fan or earplugs if very sensitive to noise - we want you to have a great sleep! This is a unique room and has exposed copper pipes (which is why it is decorated in a copper theme!) - please note that there may be small water-trickling sounds coming up the pipes (the room has 12 foot ceilings though so they are high-up) above. Do not be alarmed - this is normal. We just want you to be aware before booking so this doesn't upset you. Also, this apartment only has a small partial kitchen: Fridge, microwave, sink, and cupboards. No range/stove/oven. Plenty of room to store fresh/dry food for a weekened/week though.
In western Wisconsin, St. Croix Falls has become a destination for people who want to go places. It's the western terminus of the 1,000-mile Ice Age National Scenic Trail, which traces the last glacier as it began to melt and retreat northward, leaving a marvelously lumpy patchwork of rock, rubble and river gorges. It's the southern trailhead of the 48-mile Gandy Dancer State Trail, a scenic crushed-limestone bicycle trail named for the rail workers who rhythmically swung pickaxes and hammers made by the Gandy Tool Co. And it's the headquarters of the 252-mile St. Croix National Scenic Riverway, with a new visitors center that helps paddlers plan trips from the Namekagon to the St. Croix's confluence with the Mississippi. There are another 12 trails in Interstate State Park, which became Wisconsin's first state park in 1900 and is the start of the Ice Age Trail.

Beautiful 3 bedroom guesthouse in the woods only 1.5 miles from Siren. Great location for snowmobiling, atv's, fishing, lake access, local activities, why rent a hotel or two when everyone can stay together in a beautiful place to create some memories. Plenty of space to park trailers for the toys.
Our guest home was built with all the amenities you would want in a primary residence. Two bedrooms feature queen beds while the third has two large bunk beds (twin up top and full underneath). It will sleep 10 people comfortably. Great for a larger family, two families to gather, or just a large group of friends. Knotty pine floors and vaulted ceiling, stone fireplace (gas), full kitchen with sit up bar. It definitely has all the comforts of home but that cabin in the woods feel. Great place to gather and create some memories.
Is a great place to stay and play. Quick access to all the amenities of Siren and Burnett County. As well you have the ability to enjoy the woods, wildlife, and lake right at the property. You can also look on (website hidden) to learn more about our county or (website hidden) to find out about our gem of a town

Renovated to resemble the original build over 100 years ago. Relax near the wood burning stove in the structure of shaved timbers. Hike around the creek bed on the 20 acre parcel or for the more adventurous the adjoining 50,000 acres of DNR land.
Many photo opportunities around rustic barn. Great for evening bonfire. Shooting Range for long guns or pistols. This abandoned farm is an excellent property for hunting. Please note this is a cabin, there is heated running water, but no refrigerator. Plan on bringing a cooler to keep food and beverage cold. Kuerig coffee maker is ready to go so bring your pods. There is no conventional oven, we use an electric griddle, hot plate or crockpot for cooking. These are at the property for you. There is unlimited space for setting up tents or other camping structures.
    Rural and secluded.

Recommande fortement.

Old Supper Club turned lodge - Stay where Al Capone, John Dillinger and his gang did in the late 1920’s and early 1930’s. Dillinger’s gang would park their convoy of Ford Model T’s near the lake on a dirt road that now forms 240th Avenue. Enjoy level, sandy shorelines and amazing sunsets with the western exposure at the Calderwood Lodge. Located on 3.8 acres with over 300 feet of lake frontage, the Lodge is the perfect retreat for any family or group of friends. "Calderwood Lodge features 11 Smart TVs, the original 20 person bar, a fireplace, a 2 car garage tandem garage, plus an additional 2 car garage garage. The lodge has six bedrooms! The shoreline borders Bone Lake. Bone lake stretches 1,665 acres and has a depth of 43 feet. The immense size of the lake makes it home to excellent fishing. Musky, northern pike, and bass are just a few of the trophy fish that can be caught on the lake. • 6 Bedrooms all on the main floor • 3 Bathroom • Sleeps 21 • Great Fishing • Open concept living, kitchen, and dining room • Dining area • Office space with desk and chair • 11 Flat Screen TVs • Patio with Grill • Stainless Steel appliances • Toaster • Coffee maker • Lakeside Gazeebo and Bar • Lakeside fire pit! Other Highlights: The Calderwood Lodge also contains a great deal of history. The Lodge was constructed by Charles Calder between 1918 and 1922. During these five years of construction, Calder used natural stone and lumber from the surrounding Bone Lake region to build the lodge. Calder grew up in Cedar Rapids, Iowa, where he owned a successful van and storage business. Many of the profits from the van and storage business were reinvested into land along Bone Lake. By 1891, Calder acquired a total of 720 acres on the shore of Bone Lake. At the time, the land had an estimated value of $22,000. Throughout the roaring twenties and up until the Great Depression, the lodge consisted of 14 rooms and 7 additional cabins. The wealthy came from all parts of the Midwest –Chicago, Milwaukee, Iowa, and the Twin Cities–to stay at the famous lodge. Guests arrived in Luck by train, where they were then chauffeured to the lodge. The lodge provided the wealthy guests with expensive dinners, reaching prices as high as $6 a plate (or $98 in 2018 dollars). Furthermore, the water in the springs contained high levels of lithium, which had high medicinal value during the 1920’s. Consequently, many customers arrived with large containers so that they could bring the water home with them. Although the prohibition began in 1920, strong evidence suggests that the lodge continued to serve alcohol. The alcohol was hidden across the lake in concrete storage vaults. Boats transported the alcohol across the lake. The lodge’s fabulous reputation caused the world’s most notorious gang members to visit it. In the late 1920’s, Al Capone frequently stayed at the lodge with different friends. John Dillinger and his gang also stayed at the lodge in the late 1920’s and early 1930’s. Dillinger’s gang would park their convoy of Ford Model T’s near the lake on a dirt road that now forms 240th Avenue. Additionally, gang leader Ma Barker and criminal Alvin Karpas were also known to have stopped in the lodge during their trips to Fremsted Lake in Webster, Wisconsin. A quaint cabin - secluded on 5 acres of land w/ gorgeous surroundings. Close to town, but far enough away to feel completely relaxed and unplugged. Bald Eagles, Otter & Deer visit. Hot tub and kayak available. Our property does NOT have a swimming area. It is weedy-great for watching wild life, kayaking, canoeing, and if you have your own boat and know how to maneuver in a weedy area or use the nearby boat landing. There is swimming close by & at the sandbar in the middle of the lake.
Our cabin is beautifully designed. It consists of two, loft style bedrooms. One has a double bed and a smart t.v. The other bedroom consists of two twin size beds. The rooms are each open on one side, though there is a door and full closet that separates the two rooms for privacy from one another. Downstairs has a reading room with a loveseat, a dining area, full kitchen and a living room with a full sofa, lounge chair and rocker. Also, there is an extra therapeutic, twin mattress for one extra guest available if needed, please inquire. In the living area, there is another smart t.v. flat screen with Wi-Fi and windows facing the lake. There is a small desk to work at as well. Our cabin is very cozy and nicely decorated. We provide board games, books for children and adults, cards, puzzles. There are many toys for children ages 3 and older. The yard is spacious and allows for lots of fun. There is one full bath with a new shower and toilet. A 5 person hot tub is available to use. You must be at least 23 years old to rent. Not a place to party.
Just a five minute drive to town. Located on the wonderful Upper Clam Lake. Surrounded by wilderness , lake and creek. Relax down by the lake, on the deck or on the hammock swing or hammock or soak in the hot tub. ATV and snowmobile trails are accessible from our cabin. Use of Canoe and or kayak are available. A Very quiet and comfortable propert. There is a fire pit on the deck for roasting marshmallows and warming up , enjoying a fire. It makes for the perfect end to a great day.
  • Adorable petite cabane!

We have opened up our remodeled guest cabin and lower level of our main cabin for families of 4, 2 couples that may be traveling together or for a friends getaway. We have offered our lower level to Airbnbers for 3 years, and thought why not offer the guest cabin(no plumbing), for family and friends, and share the lower level full bathroom! Please take time to look at the photos, read captions and dream together. Wild Mountain Ski Area and Water Park are just 2 miles down the road for one!
When we take off for the day or evening, we usually open up our space for our guests relaxation and a respite. We will try and keep you posted.
We are surrounded by many trees and wooded areas, but there are no houses in sight. We have the scenic frontage road in front of us, so we will have occasional travelers out enjoying the wide open spaces.
