Boston : les meilleurs magasins

“Newbury St has both popular clothing stores and little-known boutiques; a great place to spend the afternoon shopping and then to settle down for dinner and drinks. ”

“If you're looking to try classic New England staples & treats, then head over to Quincy Market. Within the Market is Faneuil Hall, which is literally a huge hall that is lined with different food vendors, from classic New England meals like lobster rolls & clam chowder to delicious treats like cannolis (if you're looking for good cannolis, I recommend Mike's Pastry which is a 15-minute walk away) and Italian gelato. If you're walking the Freedom Trail, then you will inevitably hit this location. If not, then this is a prime destination to be at. Not only is there a multitude of shopping and dining options within this area, but you are within close proximity of downtown Boston, and the beautiful Boston Harbor. This is a must-go place for any new traveler to Boston!”

“"COPLEY SQUARE" Here you'll find a cluster of handsome historic buildings, including the ornate French-Romanesque Trinity Church, the masterwork of architecture HH Richardson. Across the street, the classic Boston Public Library, America's first municipal library, lends credence to Boston's reputation as the "Athens of America". Pick up a self-guided tour brochure and wander around, noting gems like the murals by John Singer Sargent and sculpture by Augustus Saint-Gaudens."”

“This is a locally owned bookstore and cafe located about a 15-minute walk from us, in Porter Square. This is my favorite bookstore and they also have delicious Vietnamese fresh rolls (rice paper around rice noodles, tofu, veggies with a peanut dipping sauce.) ”

“The Brookline Booksmith is hard to miss when walking through Coolidge Corner. It's windows are full of best-sellers and riveting non-fiction, and the seating outside attracts local readers. They have used-books in the basement and a delightful gift shop with cards, jewelry, and local art. The best place for souvenir shopping! They also have author talks and discussion groups! Check the signs outside for upcoming events!”
