  • We loved our stay with Susan in the Huntsville valley. Susan's house was warm and comfortable. Susan was fun to talk with and was a gracious host. And, Susan was very generous in letting us use her kitchen and cook breakfast. The view of the valley was stunning.

  • La maison est isolée, et c'est son principal atout.

  • The Cozy Cabin was very cozy with a nice living space and loft. Everything worked well with plenty of T.P., towels, coffee, tea and wood. We lived the wood burning stove.

  • Karen's cabin is a great place to relax. It's well equipped and connected. We received clear instructions for access before our arrival and everything went smoothly. Driving times are longer at the moment because of road works on I-80, but still very reasonable. We recommend the cabin without hesitation.

    Alexandre2015-06-26T00:00:00Z
  • This cabin was awesome very clean, everything worked great. No complaints at all.

    Jorge 2015-12-02T00:00:00Z
  • Super nice place, perfect for what we wanted. Would definitely reccomend having a 4x4 vehicle it's pretty high up the mountain.

  • Great cabin nestled in Tollgate Canyon. We saw two moose, several deer, and a porcupine while staying at the cabin and the kids loved it! We will continue to come back each year.

  • We loved our stay! The cabin was great and had everything we needed to have a comfortable, relaxing stay.

  • Vi’s cabin is so lovely outside and so comfortable inside. We had three couples so we filled the beds and they were all comfortable (including the bunks). Hi was great to work with. We loved our stay.

    Marci2018-04-07T00:00:00Z
  • VI's place is just as described. We loved all the extras in the kitchen and bath, nice surprise when we noticed we forgot items at home. The weather was perfect for the outside patio. The Oaks breakfast is less than a mile up the road, would recommend for a morning treat.

    Rebecca2018-02-11T00:00:00Z
  • The place was great with a river behind it. It was well stocked and clean. We did an overnight on our way to Lake Tahoe. Vi was great with her communication. Only advice I have is do not take the backroad. Follow Vi's direction. We did (Hidden by Airbnb) map and took the backroad late at night. There were cows and deers on that road...lots of them!

    Josephine2015-07-01T00:00:00Z
  • A very nice place. I wish we would have stayed a few days longer! The house is in a great location, and had cool amenities, like a movie room and huge fenced in patio. We wanted to get some extra skiing in, and she worked it out so we could check out a few hours later.

    Wyatt2016-03-09T00:00:00Z
  • Absolutely LOVED this house. We were in Utah for a graduation and wedding. This house is right on the Ogden River, gorgeous backyard setting, plenty of room inside, etc. We are all light sleepers and the cars on the road were a little bothersome. Vi immediately brought up fans to us and we never heard the cars again. Fabulous owner, very responsive. Overall, an absolute dream. Our family enjoyed this trip to Utah so much more than any other trip. We used the full kitchen to prepare snacks. We sat by the fire -in the fire pit, with wood included!- and made smores. Our last day, we even fished a little on the river! Best trout fishing in Utah. I HIGHLY recommend Vi and this cute little cabin by the river. Best trip ever!

    Brandy2015-05-04T00:00:00Z
  • Vi was exceptionally accommodating. The place was great with a lovely river running through the backyard, and fireplace (a true gem). I would highly suggest staying here if you are looking to access the mountains or a weekend getaway. The place is super easy to access and came with all the amenities we were looking for!

    Ryan2015-03-10T00:00:00Z
  • This property has a lot of potential, however, it mostly has signs of neglect. The backyard had more dead growth and weeds than beautiful green. It's great to be right by the water but the lack of care in landscaping and cleaning made us mostly stay inside. We were only given 2 towels for a party of 4 and arrived with many things unattended to (which included being clean and ready for us). I did find the host to be quite quick in her response time. But, in my opinion, until some time, energy and resources are put towards this rental they can't really call it an oasis.

    Taunia2018-08-14T00:00:00Z
  • This was a fun place to stay. Twenty minutes from Snowbasin and close to a lot of great places to eat! The loft was a fun area to watch movies in and though I didn’t use the backyard much, it seems like a fun place to hang out when it’s not cold.

We recently rebuilt, expanded, and updated a 1940 cabin. Two levels plus a loft provide abundant space. Original, refinished Douglas fir floors on the main and second levels and the original stairway between add cozy charm. Lots of windows provide beautiful views and bring in ample natural light. It is about 45 min from the Salt Lake airport, on a deep lot that backs onto Big Cottonwood Creek in a residential area. The cabin is delightful year-round.
The main floor has a full kitchen, including microwave, dishwasher, and in-sink disposal. Additional appliances include coffee maker, electric griddle, toaster, and blender. The kitchen features a heated tile floor, and is stocked with pots, pans, plates, cups, silverware, and basic ingredients. Bar-height dining table with six chairs is next to the kitchen island with two bar stools. Kitchen and dining area flow into the main-floor living room. An enclosed gas fireplace heats the cabin. A second living room with another gas fireplace is upstairs. And the third level is a large cozy loft open to the second floor. Decks are off the living rooms on the two main levels. A full bath is upstairs and half-bath downstairs. A tankless water heater provides endless hot water. There are a washer and dryer, great for drying cold, wet clothes from playing outside. The main floor living room has an L-shaped couch with a pull-out full-size bed, with memory foam topper and extra width alongside for morning snuggles. The second-floor bedroom features a queen-size bed and marvelous mountain views. In the second-floor living room are two long couches for lounging or sleeping. Open to the 2nd floor, the loft has a nook with a pillow-top queen-size bed (a very thick mattress on the floor, no box spring). The cabin sleeps six in beds. Limited privacy makes the cabin is ideal for a family or adults willing to share space. Stairs to 2nd floor are original and open on one side with a hand railing. The loft is accessed by a built-in "ship's ladder," steep stairs like a ladder, built into the cabin. We've added blinds on the second floor and some curtains on the first floor since the pictures were taken. The lot offers all the variety you’d want in a mountain setting: groves of pine trees surrounding the cabin, open field in back with a large firepit and stone seating, and a shaded hill that descends to the banks of Big Cottonwood Creek where there’s a tree-sheltered area to picnic, camp, or just relax. You can listen to the creek, stargaze, or birdwatch from the two northeast-facing decks. Moose and deer visit occasionally. Look for snowshoe rabbit tracks in winter.
The cabin is in the Silver Fork residential community, just 1/4 mile from Silver Fork Lodge (great restaurant for breakfast, lunch, and dinner; has free WiFi), just below the Solitude Mountain Resort (anticipated opening: Dec 1, 2018; anticipated closing Apr 21, 2019, conditions permitting), 3.5 miles to the Brighton Resort, and only about 35 minutes to Snowbird and Alta in Little Cottonwood Canyon. Dozens of mountain biking, rock climbing, hiking, camping, snowshoeing and backcountry ski trails and areas are nearby. Neighbors have had great success fishing in the creek and nearby Silver Lake. Besides the Silver Fork Lodge, there are a few restaurants at Solitude and some eating options at Brighton. The closest grocery stores are 14 miles away in the valley (see our Guidebook for suggestions). In summer and fall, Park City is about a half hour away over the mountains; in winter and spring it's about an hour away going around the mountains.
  • Cool, secluded, cozy space. Host left a goodie bag and everything. 10/10 would recommend.

  • This is the cutest little cabin in the woods and it was a perfect cozy getaway for us! The place has a homey and comforting vibe to it. The host even left us some treats to make for desert with a handwritten note (loved that personal touch)! Everything was super clean and the bed was super comfy. We highly recommend. Thank you for such a lovely stay!

  • The lodge has been thoughtfully remodeled and offers a quaint and comfortable place to dwell. Original hardwood blends with a modern, clean feel. There are two enjoyable outdoor patios and plenty to keep your kids busy, including educational and nature-oriented books. I prefer supportive mattresses and ended up sleeping on a kid's mattress comprised of sleeping pads.

    Patrick2018-08-07T00:00:00Z
  • Quiet, secluded, well stocked cabin with cozy upgrades like heated kitchen floor and comfortable lounging spaces downstairs and upstairs. Kitchen set for cooking with spices, coffee, condiments etc. Perfect for family ski trip with Solitude and Brighton minutes away.

  • We very much enjoyed staying at Mark's place. It was a fun, well-furnished place that offers a nice mountain oasis only moments from Salt Lake City proper. I'd love to stay here again when I return to Salt Lake.

Located just 8 minutes away from Snowbird/Alta this is a skiers dream! During the summer and fall months, we have world class rock climbing all around us, as well as hiking and biking trails for beginners to advanced bikers.
Private room for rent in Sandy, Utah located just 5.5 miles from Snowbird and 7 miles from Alta. Located just half a mile up Little Cottonwood Canyon. Beautiful surroundings in a very quaint area. We are up the canyon so that means tall and beautiful mountains in the front and backyard. This is as close to the ski resorts as you can get without actually staying at the resort and paying resort prices. On pow days there is usually a long line that stretches for about a mile but when you stay at our house, leaving in the morning is great because you can pull out in the front of the line to get up the canyon! NO TRAFFIC! You get to sleep in AND no waiting, its great! Very quiet location. Includes access to two bathrooms, a kitchen and a living room. You are welcome to cook and use the pots, pans and dishes any time. We have two fridges with plenty of space. We live in the home, so it is family style. Free parking right in front of the house. WE HIGHLY RECOMMEND THAT OUR GUESTS HAVE A CAR. It is possible to stay here and use Uber but you usually end up paying the same amount for much less freedom. We also recommend 4X4 if you are staying during the winter. You never know when it will snow and how much. The home has four bedrooms total. We rent three of them. This room has a queen-size bed. There are grocery stores about 5-10 minutes down the road. Smith’s is the closest. The new wifi works great, with speeds upwards of 50 mbps! Location is a skier’s dream, but you don't need to ski to stay here. Often guests ask if they need a car with 4-wheel drive or chains. It really depends on the snow conditions. Most of our guests have 4-wheel drive, as they know they will be driving up the canyon. However our road is always plowed and we rarely have anyone get stuck. We own a car that doesn’t have 4-wheel drive and it gets by just fine. Jan-March are the snowiest months. We don’t own any pets and don’t allow any pets. Sorry to all the animal lovers. We technically live in a watershed area so pets aren’t allowed. If this room is not available for the dates you would like, then please check the other two rooms we rent from the same location! The room for which you submit the reservation request is the room that we will be able to approve. Airbnb doesn't give us an option to switch you. So please make sure you send the request for the right room. :) This is for the room with the queen bed. We also don't mind what time you arrive. We understand that often planes land late. If we go to bed then we will leave the door open for you! Once you book, we will email you the best directions to the house. (website hidden) maps and apple maps don’t do a very good job at getting you here. Don't hesitate to ask questions! We want your stay to be perfect! Please let us know what we can do!
  • Great setting in the mountains and wonderful hosts. Looking forward to another chance to visit and ski Alta.

    Taplin2013-12-14T00:00:00Z
  • Ronnie and Lisa were fantastic hosts. They were very clear in their directions and communications to the accommodations. The oatmeal was a great perk. Bed was very comfortable and there was plenty of space. Very good access to both big and little cottonwood canyon resorts. Minutes away from good eats and grocery store. Loved my stay and will definitely be coming back.

    John2014-02-14T00:00:00Z
  • We had a great time skiing Snowbird on Monday, and rolled in afterwards. Ronnie was an excellent host and made us feel right at home. Our room was clean and adequately met our needs for this portion of our trip. It was fun meeting the other lodgers who were also equally excited about skiing Snowbird and Alta. Ronnie even made sure we had hot oatmeal before we went back out on the slopes the next morning. I highly recommend!!!

    Lauren2015-03-03T00:00:00Z
  • This home is The Place to stay if you are a skier/rider and want to be in Little Cottonwood Canyon. Beyond being a fantastic location, you will also find a Sense of Place waiting to be discovered (local natural history and history). The owners Ronnie and Lisa are the jewels in this rugged canyon. I can't wait to visit them again.

    Megan2017-04-10T00:00:00Z
  • Amazing location very close to Alta/Snowbird. Perfect for us skiers! Had a bit of trouble finding the place (make sure you look in advance) but Ronnie was an amazing host--he even helped pull us out of a snowbank on our drive in. Such a warm home and really enjoyed meeting everyone. Highly recommended.

    John2014-12-31T00:00:00Z
  • Everything was as we hoped! The communication with Patrick was excellent, the home was wonderful set in the mountains, and our hosts were wonderful to visit with! They served a nice breakfast and helped us feel right at home. Highly recommend.

  • Very welcoming. The hosts treat you like family, they are very warm. Oatmeal in the morning was great. Room was comfortable and we had plenty of space. Nice clean bathroom as well. We would happily stay here again.

    David2015-04-27T00:00:00Z
  • Had an amazing stay - felt really welcome and comfy. Oatmeal in the morning was really yummy. Very convenient to get up to snowbird, w/o spending the big bucks on a room up at the mountain. I recommend to take advantage of the Cliff Spa if you need a hot tub and sauna after a day on the slopes. Would definitely come back.

Are you looking for an escape from the city? Look no further. We have a beautiful 2000 sq ft log cabin that sits in the trees at 8000 ft. Only 15 miles NE from Park City, Utah. This location is the best of both worlds. Close enough to skiing, restaurants and shopping but far enough to have the solitude of nature all around you.
The kitchen is appointed with granite counter tops, bar with stools and modern stainless steel appliances. It comes equipped with all dishes, pots and pans, coffee pot, blender, etc. (coffee, teas and popcorn provided) There are also some condiments provided. Spices, olive oil, ketchup, mustard and mayo. Everything for your cooking needs. The kitchen is open to a large dining table (seats 8 to 10 people) and living area where there is a couch, love seat (both sofa beds), 52" TV, (Direct TV/DVD) and stereo. We also have WFI. The home is heated with a pellet stove in the living area as well as a forced air furnace if needed. There is a half bath off the kitchen. The master bedroom is right off the kitchen and is cozy with a queen bed, walk in closet and propane fireplace for those chilly nights. The master bathroom has beautiful travertine and slate tile, jetted corner tub, double sinks and a large shower with duel shower heads. Shampoo and soap is provided. Upstairs there is a loft with a large sectional (sofa bed) and a round game table as well as Nintendo for the kids. There are Lincoln logs, LEGO’s and plenty of games for all ages. After a long day of hiking, biking or skiing come home and relax in a massage chair upstairs in the loft with spectacular views. There are two bedrooms upstairs each with a queen bed. A full bathroom that has a sink separate from the tub/shower and toilet and is located in between the bedrooms. The bedrooms share a walk out balcony. The laundry area is in the basement. (laundry soap and dryer sheets provided.) The cabin has a garage so your car stays out of the elements. The large deck has a dining table with chairs, fire pit and BBQ. Our cabin has winter access, however you need a 4 wheel drive vehicle and chains. This road is narrow and can be very challenging to drive on. This is non negotiable. We want your stay to be safe as well as fun. Also our full time neighbors depend on that road to get to work, etc and if someone is stuck it impacts the whole mountain. Our log home is a very special place. Summer-Fall you can see moose, deer and elk on our property or maybe an occasional fox trotting up the road and hawks flying overhead. Sit out on the large deck and soak in sun and the beauty that surrounds you. Put peanuts out on the pillars of the deck and watch the stellar jays swoop down and eat them.(peanuts provided) In the winter the glistening snow, white covered pine trees and blue sky are breathtaking. Snowshoes are available. We hope you enjoy our beautiful log home as much as we do.
  • Gil and Lori have a stunning mountain home that they are willing to share with others. They have thought of everything to make your stay perfect. The place is spotless, and they've thought of everything you could ever need. A highlight for us was the bucket of peanuts they provide to leave out for the birds (and greedy, chubby squirrels). This delighted our grandchildren the most. The beds are so comfy, we've decided to replace our bed with the same kind they have. I accidentally left my IPad at the cabin and Lori was ore than helpful in helping me get it back. We feel like we have made some great friends because of their kindnesses. Thank you, thank you, Gil and Lori.

  • Gill and Lori provided an awesome cabin in a great location. They were very helpful and good to work with. I highly recommend this cabin for people looking to rent in the area for a nice getaway! Plenty of room and a cool place!

  • Gil and Lori have a beautiful, well-stocked cabin up in the mountains, that's perfect for both small and large groups (we were a party of eight). A great place to see wildlife (we saw two moose wander past within a few hours of our arrival). Also, it's really close to Park City, so you can sample the best of both urban and idyllic environments. Highly recommended!

    Sebastian2018-05-27T00:00:00Z
  • My family and I had a great time at Gil and Lori's cabin. The cabin is very nice and clean and is in a great location. It's also a quick drive to Park City. Gil and Lori were very hospitable.

  • This was a true gem. The host is very polite and helpful, the home very welcoming and relaxing. We ended up sitting on the porch for the majority of our time in Utah. The wildlife is phenomenal, Moose, elk, deer, Jays, chipmunks, ground squirrels, hummingbirds etc. We truly enjoyed our time there, and really enjoyed the cooler evenings. We would return given any chance.

  • The cabin has breathtaking views and is beautifully decorated in upscale rustic. We were please that it was so dog friendly. The 3 bed/2 1/2 baths were so convenient. Everything was there to make our stay so pleasant. Many thanks for sharing your lovely home!

This quaint cabin is the ideal place to unwind and relax! It is surrounded by trees, you'll feel like you are sleeping in a tree house. Only minutes from the center of Midway, delicious restaurants and 3 beautiful golf courses. Only a 25 minute drive to Park City.
Recently remodeled and updated. There are two bedrooms and a loft. The kitchen is beautiful and fully functional but has smaller appliances. There is a gas fireplace in the front room. The cabin is small and quaint. There is not room for large gatherings. It is just off a main road that is very well plowed in the Winter. If there is snow you can park across the street on the main road and walk about 100 yards to the front door. There is only parking for 2 cars.
Other cabins are nearby but it is very quiet and when there are leaves on the trees they aren't very visible.
  • Beautiful cabin to spend your stay in. Very family friendly. Perfect for a ski trip. I’ve stayed in a larger cabins and four story condos in Seattle for less so I think it’s priced a little on the high side, but I guess that’s the market in the area.

    Derek2018-08-12T00:00:00Z
  • Darling place! Perfect for girls getaway. Stairs are a little steep but worth the climb! Quiet & secluded but close to Midway shops. We loved the cookies left by our host!

  • The cabin is very clean and cozy, lots of thoughtful details in the design, and we felt right at home. I couldn't have asked for a better experience during our stay there. Would absolutely stay there again.

  • We loved this little cabin! It really was like staying in a tree house. So relaxing and a great place to get away!

  • Sherri's cabin is truly a gem. Extremely cute and cozy. The pastries were a wonderful and delicious touch. The cabin is very close to the Homestead Crater and the little town of Midway. Park City was about 30 minutes away. We enjoyed the attention to detail and had a pleasant evening enjoying the outdoor fire-pit and cooking on the grill. Sherri was very quick to answer any questions we had. The refrigerator is very small (about the size of a mini fridge) so plan on bringing a cooler to hold extra food if you're staying for more than a couple days and want to cook! I would definitely stay here again and/or recommend staying here!

    Sarah2017-12-03T00:00:00Z
  • Our stay in this delightful little cabin was amazing! The setting, tucked right on the side of the mountain with trees surrounding, really did feel like we were in a cozy treehouse. Every attention to detail from beautiful decor to having everything we needed (even parchment paper in the kitchen) was so appreciated. Even though we didn't get around to using the fire pit, I noticed that Sherri had all the makings for s'mores in the cupboard. There were several thoughtful things left for us that made our stay exceptional. Sherri was very responsive in her communications. This place is truly a treasure! Thank you Sherri for allowing us to stay in your cabin and enjoy all it had to offer.

  • Excellent location! We stayed a few days and explored the area. Definitely a more beautiful location than downtown Midway! My wife loved the decor, the cabin is clean, kitchen is well-equipped, beds are comfortable, and the outdoor space around the cabin is great!

  • Loved our stay! It was very relaxing and the location was beautiful. We enjoyed the personal touches such as the local tips for things to do in the area. The cabin was very stylish and met all of our needs. We hope to rent again soon!

Tucked away among huge pines and beautiful quaking aspen you'll find the Blue Pine Cabin. This quaint cabin is located in the neighborhood simply known as "Silverfork" by locals, named for the historic mining community of the 1850s - 1870s. Today, the neighborhood is located immediately adjacent to the Silver Fork lodge and Solitude Mountain Resort.
The cabin has been completely remodeled. Originally built in the 1940's as a summer home, this ski or summer getaway provides all the comforts of modern living, but maintains a rustic feel.
Whether it’s a 5 minute drive back from Solitude (10 minutes from Brighton), or a mountain bike ride from the front door, you’ll love the atmosphere of the forested neighborhood. For those more adventurous, you can backcountry tour from the front door as well. This allows you to literally ski home in the winter. Best of all, you have unlimited hot water (tankless water heater), a home entertainment system and Sleep Number Brand beds when you get back to the house. The neighbors are friendly and we still live close by (less than 10 minute walk) if you need anything during your stay.
  • A top-shelf airbnb experience. If rustic charm with modern amenities is what you're after, this is the place, bar none. The cabin is in an amazing serene setting which feels a world-away from the city (even though it's a short 30 minute drive). The Blue Pine Cabin is the perfect base-camp for a variety of summer and winter sports activities with nearly endless trails nearby and two excellent ski resorts within a 5-10 minute drive. Couldn't imagine a better place for après-hike/ski/bike relaxation. Scotty and Kara greeted us upon check-in with a welcome package which was a considerate touch to set the weekend off right. Communication from booking to check-out was very fast and they made sure we understood various details of the home. The cabin itself is well stocked with all standard kitchen items, coffee maker, towels, etc. The Sleep Number of beds were a touch of luxury we were not anticipating and all bedding was very clean and comfortable. Would recommend this listing to anyone and definitely intend to stay again in the future.

  • Would highly recommend this cabin for anyone looking to get the benefits of solitude and comfort. The hosts did everything in their power to ensure I had a great stay. 5 star experience!!

    Zach2018-06-03T00:00:00Z
  • We had such an awesome few days tucked away in Scotty and Kara’s cabin. Close to the ski resorts (5 mins from Solitude / Brighton and 30 mins from Snowbird / Alta) so a perfect place to base yourself to experience some Utah pow! Alternatively the local area is beautiful and the cabin is a cozy environment to have a relaxing weekend. We were a group of friends who hadn’t seen each other for a while and this was the perfect place to catch up. It was great to having an evening with Scotty and Kara too- they are a great couple who go out of their way to ensure their guests have a fantastic time. Highly recommended and would love to stay again.

    Jessica2018-04-11T00:00:00Z
  • A few friends and I stayed in this cabin and had a great time! The location is excellent for splitting outdoor activities between SLC and Park City (mountain biking, hiking, exploring, dining, etc.). We loved the fire pit and waking up every day to that fresh mountain air. Also, our hosts were very generous with their time and very thoughtful in creating an overall experience for our group. 10/10 would recommend.

    Maxwell2018-06-20T00:00:00Z
  • We had such a wonderful time staying at the cabin with friends to celebrate my husbands 40th birthday. We skied, went sledding, made delicious meals, and just relaxed and enjoyed being in the beautiful mountains. The cabin was clean and very cozy with all the amenities necessary. Hosts were amazing and even left us a nice gift.

    Jerilyn2018-02-12T00:00:00Z
  • Scotty and Kara were friendly hosts who went out of their way to make sure that we had everything we needed and that our stay was perfect. They even had gifts waiting for us! We loved having the grill and the fire pit, which made it just as fun to stay in as go out. The location was great - waking distance to Silver Fork Lodge, minutes away from great hiking, and along a scenic drive between Salt Lake City and Park City. I would absolutely stay here again!

    Madeline2017-09-04T00:00:00Z
  • It is the perfect cabin for a group of 6-8 and the bunk beads were the perfect touch for the kids. They felt like they were in Disneyland. Since we spent a lot of time staying in after the marathon we also fully enjoyed the movies, coloring, and games. The small touches and effort you put into making my sisters first marathon and birthday weekend special were awesome. We would absolutely stay again!

    Rachelle2017-09-10T00:00:00Z
  • February 2018 - Kara & Scotty’s Cabin is the absolute perfect place to stay if you are looking for peace and solitude while remaining close to your favorite ski resorts. From check-in to check-out, they will ensure you know where you are going, along with anything you need to know about the cabin. You will not regret your stay at the Blue Pine Cabin!

Downstairs 1st floor area of our cozy log cabin which includes bedroom, private bath with sauna and access to rear deck hot-tub, in a peaceful upper summit community, 1/2way between oldtown Park City centre & SLC; just 7 mins drive east into Jeremy Ranch village, 15 mins to 3 ski resorts' best snow on earth. If you're looking for accoms to sleep beyond a couple (say 2.75 - either a child or youth) arrangements can be made, so please inquire. Could even put up an errant 3rd wheel bud at a pinch
With several dozen trees, many in excess of 100 feet tall all around us, we have lots of shade during the middle of the day, but enjoy streaming sunlight coming in our front windows during much of the morning, as well as an appendix of rays that skip over the mountain range to our west and come in through our back windows & door late in the afternoon.
Summit Park is one of the older settled neighborhoods of the old mining town which is Park City,
  • Fantastic place to stay for a skiing break. A great secluded log cabin tucked into the forest away from the resorts, yet only 15 minutes away from some amazing ski resorts (Deer Valley & Park City just the start!). Peter and Kerry are fantastic hosts and a lot of fun. They were extremely helpful in giving advice, including local rental car companies, ski runs and breakfast spots. You’ll feel like you’re an extended relative within the 30 minutes of being there but they’re never over-bearing. Jacuzzi and Sauna made it feel like the perfect combination of staying with some extended family and going to a resort.

    Craig2018-01-16T00:00:00Z
  • Pete and Kerry are incredible hosts; their beautiful home is perfectly situated between the airport and downtown Park City. I enjoyed the privacy of the room and bathroom with sauna, as well as the openness and camaraderie of my hosts...truly a wonderful stay. I am afraid if i say too many positive things, their place will be so booked up that i wont be able to book a return stay! Cheers!

    Douglas2016-07-12T00:00:00Z
  • Wonderful Airbnb! We didn't get to meet Pete, but his wife, Kerry, was amazing! Extremely thoughtful, kind and courteous. Kerry even went out of her way to drive us to the ski resort and pick us up on a bad snow day when my rental car was not sufficient for the weather conditions. Great place to stay, supper close to Park City ski resort and Maxwells, which has great pizza!

    Jared2018-03-16T00:00:00Z
  • Peter and Kerri were responsive and welcoming. We really enjoyed their beautiful home and love of animals. The house was very quiet at night and we got a very restful sleep. I enjoyed the hot sauna and jacuzzi after a long day on the slopes. Kerri and Peter had gotten snacks for us in the fridge and the house was spotless and warm. I recommend staying with these hosts and hope to be back again!

  • Neat and stylized cabin in the woods. Two cute dogs. We had a lot of fun going on a walk on a trail right behind the house. It took us only 18 minutes to get to park city everyday to attend the Sundance Film Frstival. Also the Sauna was unexpected and wonderful! Kept us warm after a long day standing in the snow!

Thank you so much Skiing was not but 10-15 minutes away and in town great food.

  • Great cabin in a great location! We stayed there with our 4 kids and had a great few nights. The kids enjoyed sleeping in the loft area and exploring a little in the woods. Fun to watch squirrels running around outside and feel like you're so close to nature. The hummingbird feeder was a nice touch as they kept coming by. Everything was great and there was plenty of everything we needed for a great stay. Madeline was quick to reply and made everything a breeze.

Get away to this beautiful, newly furnished mountain cabin nestled high in the Wasatch mountains and only 25 minutes (15 miles) to Park City, UT. Enjoy a spacious family/dining room; game room; sitting room; cozy loft for relaxing or watching movies; nice deck to observe wildlife and peaceful views of the Wasatch and Uinta Mountains; W/D, loaded kitchen, gas fireplace and wood burning stove. Near: Snowmobiling, Skiing Park City (15 miles), Rockport Lake (10 miles), Salt Lake City (30 miles).
  • This cabin is AMAZING! It is the cleanest place we have ever stayed, and was stocked with lots of extras to make our stay more comfortable. The location is remote and gorgeous! The only minor issue we had was that it snowed a little bit the morning we drove in, and there was one section of the road that got a little slippery. Glad we had four-wheel drive, but definitely not a reason to avoid this awesome cabin! The host went to great detail to provide us with everything we needed to enjoy our stay. We would gladly stay there again!

    Shanine2017-10-22T00:00:00Z
  • We had a great time at Neill's cabin! The surroundings are beautiful and this is definitely the place to stay to see native Utah wildlife! We saw bull, cow, and baby moose wandering through the property multiple times per day (literally right under the deck), saw a 4 point bull elk on the first day, and the hummingbirds are all over the feeders on the deck constantly! There wasn't a single moment when you couldn't hear the hummingbirds whirring and chirping through the open windows. Not to mention the chipmunks and ground squirrels scurrying around everywhere. :) The inside of the cabin is beautifully finished with great decor and a huge fireplace in the main area. Everything was clean and the kitchen fully stocked with dishware and cookware. Everyone in our group had a comfortable bed to sleep in, and we were grateful for the baby gates, the coffee maker, and the ping pong table that kept the 6yo entertained. It did get a little hot during the day, but we knew what to expect with 100+ degree weather down in the Salt Lake valley. Just open the windows on both sides of the cabin to get a nice breeze going, and it cools way down at night. The location is secluded enough that you feel like you're really getting away, but grocery stores in Kimball Junction/Park City are only about a 25 minute drive away if you forgot to bring something with you. If you're looking for water recreation, there's two reservoirs (Rockport and Echo) a short drive away, and endless bait and fly fishing opportunities in the surrounding mountains. We wouldn't hesitate to stay here again!

  • This is a spectacular cabin that exceeded our expectations in every way. It is a great location. Quiet, private, and remote. Views are stunning and there are amazing walks right out the front door. We saw a ton of wildlife from the porch including moose. The home itself is lovely. It is very high quality/modern construction. The furnishings, beds, and bedding are first class. The quality is the kind you find in a carefully thought out personal home as opposed to a cheap commercial rental. Cannot recommend the place highly enough if you are looking for a cabin getaway/retreat. We will almost certainly stay here again if we revisit Park City. The hosts were always responsive as well.

    Josh2017-09-11T00:00:00Z
  • Awesome place! Great value and very comfortable. We will be back.

    Travis2017-09-03T00:00:00Z
  • We loved the cabin and had such a relaxing time! Very clean and just perfect for our family! Our highlight is when a Mama Moose and her twin babies walked by to eat some green bushes! We loved this cabin and recommend it to all!

    Rachel2018-06-16T00:00:00Z
  • Our winter vacation at the cabin was exactly what we had hoped for. Peaceful, quiet, private, astounding views, hospitality, amenities, cleanliness, and the list goes on. It was close enough to pop into town for skiing or sight seeing but far enough away for complete immersion in the beautiful mountains. The drive in alone was outstanding. I have never stayed in such a beautiful cabin or area. Neill was an amazing host with quick replies anytime we messaged with little questions before the trip began. During our stay he continued to give helpful tips on the area and weather (Texas doesn’t get much snow). We absolutely recommend this cabin to anyone looking for a beautiful getaway. Thank you Neill!!!

  • Jami's cabin is an incredible place. Just a 10 minute walk from Brighton, the place is spotless, incredibly cozy and looks like something out of a magazine. She is easy to work with and very accommodating. We had an eight person group at the cabin and while there is only one bathroom, we never felt cramped or were inconvenienced. The beds are very comfortable and the fireplace was excellent. ( Note that it is tough to get an Uber / Lyft out here at times so a rental car is recommended. I highly recommend the cabin. Our whole group agreed that this was an amazing trip.

    Erik2017-02-05T00:00:00Z
  • This cabin is amazing. Super cozy and comfortable and walking distance to Brighton! Even relative to other locations in the cottonwood canyons, the snow around this cabin was crazy deep (>2 ft). If you are a snow lover like me, it is a little piece of heaven. Great sledding right around the cabin too! I will definitely be back!

    Daniel2017-12-28T00:00:00Z
  • This was the most amazing place to have our wedding! Jami was very responsive, and made sure we would have the space for what we wanted. I would stay here for any other occasions or just for fun. Great space to have all the family together with no electronics but old fashioned time and conversation.

    Rachael2017-10-18T00:00:00Z
  • We had an excellent stay at the cozy log cabin right near Brighton. We made a fire in the fireplace every night, cooked some food in the crockpot and made merry for 3 nights. The beds were warm and comfortable and gave us a good night's sleep before a 10 minute walk or 2 minute drive to Brighton. The only thing we wished for was that we had brought slippers as the floor was a bit chilly (20F-35F outside). Lastly, while the cabin will sleep 8, we found it pretty full with 5 people.

    Max2015-12-15T00:00:00Z
  • This is our fourth stay at Jami's cozy cabin. We couldn't be happier and keep coming back. Warm, welcoming and cozy - every time. We love the deep flannel beds, and big wood burning fireplace - which has hosted many family card games. Netflix + wifi was a welcome upgrade for teenagers. The location is hard to beat, ~2 min drive or ~10 min walk to Brighton, tucked in the woods off the main road with sledding and snow forts for fun after the lifts close. Kitchen and cabinets are very well stocked. Great CD collection too; also wondrous for teenagers! Can't wait for our next trip.

    Ben2018-03-16T00:00:00Z
  • This cozy cabin is just what we imagined and so much more. Jami's has created a winter wonderland oasis. This truly is a Cozy Cabin in every way. We never wanted to leave and still are having withdrawals having to say goodbye to this beautiful, serene hideaway!

Convenient to the majority of ski resorts along the Wasatch Front!! Fishing is still great! Catch beautiful browns in the Weber River. The cabin is a convenient 15 minutes to Park City. And a beautiful ride to Kamas with a top rated restaurant, The Gateway. Midway/Heber area with a Swiss influence is a delightful place to visit, shop and eat.
Exclusive use of the cabin space in the rural area of Wanship. There are three bedrooms: one queen bed, two double beds. There is also a comfortable queen size blow up mattress that is convenient and could be used in the room with the fireplace, a romantic option! One of the bedrooms has built-in bunk beds and children love these cozy, hideaway areas. The kitchen has all the modern conveniences. The 3/4 bath includes a tiled shower. Paper goods and linens are provided. There is no WiFi connection but good cell phone service and a "hot spot" can be used.
The cabin is located in a neighborhood with mostly part-time residents. It is just a short drive from I-80. Sit on the bank of the the Weber River. Beautiful place to sit and enjoy the views of nature. The cabin is 5 minutes from Rockport Lake.
  • This was the perfect cabin for our stay. We needed something close to a nearby reservoir where we planned to fish. It was a comfortable and homey. I felt like I was going to a cabin of one of my own family members because the owners were so accommodating. The only draw back was the water. The well water has a lot of minerals and the water tasted really bad. So bring your own drinking water!

  • Alicia was great. The cabin was great. Caught fish in the river, boated on Rockport, cooked in the kitchen, grilled outside.

  • Very cozy, yet spacious cabin with a huge back yard set right on a lovely river. A foot of snow fell the day we arrived and temperatures hovered in the teens and twenties, yet the cabin was warm and had easy acces to the main road. Alicia and her family are warm and gracious hosts. There's a great sledding hill just steps way from the cabin and the meadows and other views are spectacular.

We are at the top of the neighborhood and in the winter totally secluded from others. The Mangy Moose & Scraggly Squirrel are the only thing on our road which gives us great privacy.
  • This place is unbelievable!! We spent a weekend there with 18 women and had the most magical time. We were secluded enough to feel like we had the place to ourselves and also able to get to amazing hikes and meals in a short drive. Honi was incredibly responsive and the scenary can't be beat! We saw a moose, drum circled in the teepee and had a dance party in the end of trail saloon. This place is what dreams are made of.

  • Very cool house, great location. We plan on going back next year with a larger group to rent the entire compound.

  • Great adventure. Fun place to bring lots of kids. Fantastic location to skiing. Honi and Dave were very helpful and made us feel completely at home.

  • Hands down, the best lodge you could stay at! Very comfy beds! Lots of room and toys/games for activities. Honi and Dave are amazing hosts. They went above and beyond to make sure we had a good thanks giving trip. Pleanty of room for a large group, sleeping areas are more communal in one of the houses. The table for eatting was long and communal, we had thanksgiving dinner with 11 ppl comfortably. (I advice snow chairs for snowy winters)

  • A very fun and eclectic place in a great location close to Brighton and Solitude resorts!

  • This was a unique, quirky and incredibly homey place. There is not privacy, but we were on a group ski trip so it was absolutely fine. We were able to make great meals in the crockpot each day while we skied just a few minutes up the road at Solitude and Brighton. It snowed every day we were there and had snowed a lot before we got there. They had done a great job with snow clearing and we had a 4wd rental and were able to get out of the driveway every time. Honi was extremely helpful and available by text message. We enjoyed the hot tub each night and the array of robes provided for post hot tub! the tiny little sauna was a bonus. The nice washer and dryer were a godsend after our road trip to get to Utah from Texas. The gigantic stuffed moose (2 of them) were a huge hit for our four year old boy. He also enjoyed helping his dad start the fire in the fireplace, around which the whole building is centered. Honi and Dave were very generous with the heat setting and the fireplace made it even more cozy! The beds were super comfy, there was room to put our stuff. There was foos ball in the basement, abcorn hole set. Just a lot of fun. Our last night Honi and Dave came to visit and were such nice down to earth folks. We heartily enjoyed our stay! We were a married couple with a 4yr old son, and the husband's brother and two good friends. We could have had another couple stay with us in the loft, but we had ample room and comfort the way it was. Plenty of couch space, too. All couches are wearing the Canadian tuxedo! Great spot!

    Chris2017-01-10T00:00:00Z
  • Great place to stay for a ski trip. Honi and Dave are super helpful and made everything very easy. Lots of unique touches that made for an awesome long weekend. There was plenty of space for our group of 8. We had a lot of fun making a fire in the tipi or soaking in the hot tub after skiing.

The rooms were clean, there were plenty of beds, and the kitchen was great! We especially loved the large dining table where we could all sit around and talk. I would definitely recommend this home and would love to visit again.

  • A great little home in a fabulous city.

    Ralph2018-06-29T00:00:00Z
  • Stayed here for about three weeks at the beginning of December and it was a great little spot. Fantastic location less than 5 minutes from Park City mountain, with really nice views of old town Park City and surrounding mountains. Word to the wise, the timber steps pictured in the listing have been replaced by concrete steps that are pretty narrow and shallow, but it wasn't much of an issue for us--the house is on the side of a mountain, after all, stairs are to be expected. Overall a really nice cozy cabin in a great spot!

    Tess2017-12-21T00:00:00Z
  • The cabin is in a fantastic location about a 3 minute walk from Park City's main street. The layout is a unconventional, but charming. Kitchen is incredibly well stocked, functional, and great for cooking breakfast. Turnkey is very responsive....usually within less than 5 minutes. We had a 10 hour power outage while we were staying, and got accurate updates on when the problem would be resolved.

  • Such a cool, unique house with a great view of downtown Park City. Close proximity to all the restaurants and shops. Really enjoyed our stay here.

    Ben2018-03-02T00:00:00Z
  • Clean and comfortable house on the side of the mountain in Park City. The views from the decks are amazing. It’s a tough walk up from Main Street but that’s to be expected being on the side of a mountain and at such a high elevation. The appliances and amenities are top notch. No complaints from us.

    Jeremy2018-08-06T00:00:00Z
  • Great spot for a quiet stay off Main St. Be prepared to conquer many flights of stairs. Kitchen is fully stocked with tools but be sure to bring all of your own spices and salt an pepper. Very quiet neighborhood with a quick walk to Main.

    Katelynn2018-02-06T00:00:00Z
  • This is a wonderful place, so close to Main Street and such a cozy place to just relax and enjoy the mountains.

    Tayler2018-08-19T00:00:00Z
  • This cabin is a great place to stay for a couple who is ready to explore Park City! It was warm and cozy and in a great location to walk to main st, yet far enough up the mountain to have peace and quiet. Just an FYI- This cabin does require going up/down several stairs which was not an issue for us, but might be something to consider for some. The scenery was amazing to look at from the balcony as well as the top floor windows. The property manager was very easy to keep in touch with via email/text/phone call. Would highly recommend!

  • Nice location if you want a quieter setting than downtown Park City offers. Huge place with a ton of sleeping space, nice views, and generally very comfortable. We had an issue with the hot tub during our stay, and Mike and Abby were very responsive, and did their best to get it fixed - unfortunately it didn't turn out to be a quick fix, and there wasn't much else they could do. Definitely recommend the place if you are looking for a place to host a big group ski weekend in Park City!

We love the quiet & natural beauty of our place... lots of wildlife. We furnished our Cabin to be super comfortable & artsy. The Cabin front porch has a 220 degree of view of the Unitas and Wasach including the PC's world class ski areas. Our new roomy Tipi is for starry nights and kids/ adventure -- steps away from the Cabin. For additional guests, please see our Loft Studio Property Listing (sleeps 5) Welcome home!
Our Cabin feels isolated yet is equipped with everything you may need. We built this Cabin in 2005 and have tried to make it more comfortable with every visit. The expansive views are peaceful and so quiet. Enjoy!
  • We had the most amazing time at the cabin. It was very clean, had everything we needed and was absolutely beautiful. The water house was a huge added plus, so relaxing. The moose on the property were around every day, it was such a joy to watch each morning and evening, plus other animals. It was an easy drive to park city for an evening of dining and shopping. All in all, this was a great experience, even for a mini getaway. Thank you Dan and Joanna for sharing your amazing property with us.

  • We absolutely LOVED this cabin getaway! It slept 4 of us quite nicely, the accommodations are beautiful, Dan was so very accommodating. We loved the sauna, the hot tub, the steam shower and the wildlife. We will be back again!

    Jill2017-04-30T00:00:00Z
  • We are Park City locals and between houses. It was a treat to get a little further away from town; lots of wildlife to watch (including mama and baby moose right outside the living room window every night), and views for days. We were there alone most of the trip (no one renting the big house on the lot), which was really nice as it was super private.

    Kris2017-07-31T00:00:00Z
  • The place was lovely. Everything from the amenities to the location was amazing. I highly recommend staying here.

  • I can't say it enough. This place is wonderful! My husband and I had such a lovely weekend getaway at this beautiful cabin. It is styled so well - rustic yet modern. The amenities (hot tub, steam room, awesome bath tub, etc) along with the beautiful views made for a great escape from Salt Lake for the weekend. Thanks for opening up this great space, Dan and Joanna! The views and sound of elk were the cherry on top. : ) Thanks for your hospitality. Cheers!

  • This is one of the most interesting houses I've seen with a very cool view! It is a 4 story house perched on a 20-30° slope. The bedrooms are on level 2 and 4 while the kitchen, dining, and living rooms are on level 3. There is an entry room and pool table on the first level. The house sleeps 14 comfortably as long as the kids are willing to share the 2 bunk rooms. There are also 3 rooms suitable for 2 adults each. We found the house to be very clean and well taken care of. Plan to block the tires of your car on the driveway - getting up it is an adventure in itself.

    Dale2018-08-11T00:00:00Z
  • We thoroughly enjoyed our stay here! It was just what our family needed! The house has plenty of room on 4 different levels. I can’t even say enough about the views.
Everything for your cooking needs. The kitchen is open to a large dining table (seats 8 to 10 people) and living area where there is a couch, love seat, 52" TV, (Direct TV/DVD) and stereo. The home is heated with a pellet stove in the living area as well as a forced air furnace if needed. There is a half bath off the kitchen. The master bedroom is right off the kitchen and is cozy with a queen bed and a propane stove for those chilly nights. The master bathroom has beautiful travertine and slate tile, jetted corner tub, double sinks and a large shower with duel shower heads. There is also a walk in closet. Upstairs there is a loft with a large sectional (sofa bed) and game table as well as Nintendo for the kids. There are two bedrooms upstairs each with a queen bed. A full bathroom has sinks with the tub/shower and toilet (in separate room) that is located in between the bedrooms. The laundry area is in the basement. Our cabin has a garage so your car stays out of the elements. Our cabin has winter access, however you need a 4 wheel drive SUV and chains. This road is narrow and can be very challenging to drive on in the snow. This is non negotiable. Because our snow plow drivers have full time jobs on heavy snow days during the week our roads are plowed twice daily. In the early morning and again in the evening. On the weekends they might get plow in the afternoon as well. You need to be mindful of the weather. In the winter the glistening snow, green pine trees and blue sky are breathtaking. Snowshoes are available. We hope you enjoy our beautiful log home as much as we do.
We are about 15 mins from the Kimball Junction exit.(Park City) Whole Foods, Smith's, Walmart, liquor store, restaurants, movie theater, bowling alley, outlet stores, gas stations, and banks are located there.
  • If you want to get away from it all and enjoy a comfortable, fully-stocked, beautiful cabin this is the place for you. Our family of 4 kids and 2 parents stayed here for 9 magical days. All of those days we saw wild animals up close and breathed in fresh mountain air while surrounded by enormous pines and tall elegant aspens. It was heaven. The cabin had comfortable beds, a kitchen that had everything in it to live out of if you were to stay for a while as we did, an amazing jetted-tub to relax, and a deck that we lived on and watched the sun rise on as we fed the stellar jays peanuts every morning. It was so surreal at times. When we were inside (which was rare) the kids enjoyed watching movies on Netflix, playing classic video games on the Nintendo and playing board games. We adults had plenty to provide an enjoyable downtime too. We hope to go back. We were all rejuvenated and filled with gratitude for the hospitality of Lori and Gil who instantly responded to our concerns and questions, and for the beauty of nature. ❤️. Thank you so much for sharing your incredible property with our family.

  • This cabin is wonderful!! The moment we walked in, I was completely relaxed. The stress of daily life melted away. I love to cook and the kitchen has everything you need and more. The cabin is beautifully designed with the comforts of home in mind. The beds are so comfy, I don't think I have slept that well in a long time. We loved sitting on the deck and watching animals. We saw a porcupine, deer, elk, chipmunk, squirrels and my granddaughters favorite part was feeding peanuts to the birds. There is a bucket full of peanuts for you to feed the birds and squirrels. We even enjoyed the first snowfall of the season. It was very peaceful and I loved sitting on the deck, drinking coffee (a special blend supplied by Lori and Gil) and watching the sun rise. What a beautiful place to rejuvenate. Thank you for sharing your home with our family!!

  • Nice clean cabin. Beautiful views and location. Saw a lot of wild life right from the deck.

  • Lori and Gil have an awesome cabin located up tollgate canyon. If you’re looking for a place to stay with great views 30 minutes outside of park city, I highly recommend Lori and Gil’s. If staying in the winter, be sure to have 4x4 and proper tires.

  • This is a beautiful cabin. It has lovely, modern decor and is very spacious. It is beautifully furnished. The kitchen is large and has everything you will need to cook your meals. With 3 bedrooms, it was the perfect amount of space to have my grandkids stay with us. Lots of board games and Nintendo for the kids. We spent a few nights on the deck playing scrabble. My family had a wonderful, relaxing week there. The cabin is in a great location. With a large deck, full of patio furniture, we were able to spend long days relaxing outside. The cabin was comfortable and very well maintained. It was a perfect temperature in the day and a cool sleeping temperature at night. The hosts were very kind and quick to answer any questions we had. Lori is a truly great person and I'm glad we had the opportunity to meet her. Our stay was wonderful! We will definitely stay there again. Thank you !

The cabin is located 1 mile from solitude and 1 mile from the Mill D trail head. It has tremendous opportunity for hiking around. It would be a great summer and fall destination for hikers. It would be a great place for skiers in the winter time. There is great Backcountry access right from the door.
The cabin has a open living room and a well stocked kitchen. It has a loft with a queen bed, a master bedroom with a queen bed and a deck. The bedroom downstairs has bunk beds. You can enjoy frequent visits from moose and deer on the property.
The neighbors in the cabin next door are very close friends. Feel free to say hi. They are very friendly. Please be mindful of noise after hours.

  • This cabin is perfectly positioned near the top of Main Street, walking distance from most things in Park City. The cabin was nestled in a quiet and neighborhood. There was parking in front, and my Civic and CRV fit very snugly. The home was just as in pictures, and was immaculate. Don’t forget to take off your shoes! I love that this is a rule! Would stay there again!!

    Jessica2018-07-02T00:00:00Z
  • Be aware that in spite of what is stated in the welcoming comments from Vacasa about parking in front of the house on the concrete slab, it is possible you will receive parking ticket, as I did. The fine is $40. and while I am contesting this ticket, I have no assurance that it will be dismissed.

  • We enjoyed our stay. Great location and convenient to Park City bus stop. Will look into staying here again!

  • The house is perfectly located just one street off the main street of Park City. It is a beautiful home equipped with everything we could possibly need. Very spacious, there was more than enough room for the three of us. There was plenty to do within walking distance, but a parking space was also available for our rental car. I would definitely recommend this rental, and I would stay here again. Thank you for a wonderful stay!
