“considered among the 10 best breads made in the US, this bakery serves pizza on the farm - dough is lovingly made in an authentic brick oven. Great baked goods (they distribute to grocers in the area twice a week, and they sell out within 1-2 hrs of receiving delivery.)”

“If you get sick of lobster and you want to switch it up, owners, Michael and Michelle are offering you a trip to the south of the boarder. Freshly made authentic salsas and hot sauces, great food creations and a fun little location to chillax and eat in, make this a refreshing change to the over indulged New England culinary scene.”

“Buck's Harbor Market is nestled in Buck's Harbor, South Brooksville, Maine. In the summer our tiny Market is very busy with summer folks docked in the harbor and those visiting their vacation homes along the coast. BHM boasts a wide variety of foods, from delicious sandwiches, to organic local eggs, quality meats, Dietz & Watson delicatessen items, gourmet cheeses, homemade bread, heat & eat soups, dips and dinners, fresh, hot Green Mountain coffee, and an extensive wine selection. BHM offers quality customer service and good food for breakfast, lunch and dinner-"on the go" or "eat-in"- and necessary grocery items.”

“Delicious food in a beautiful dinning room. If the weather is nice you can eat on the porch. Live music sometimes, check calendar. The Pub room is a must place to go. Grab a drink and look around the room at all of the pictures this retired State Department worker collected in all his travels. ”

“*NOW CALLED 15 SEA ST* Our favorite place in Castine for lunch (other than Markels) and for dinner is the seasonally open Formerly The Wharf. The restaurant is now called 15 Sea St. They have very friendly staff..even when it's busy!..and their food is wonderful! They have a good selection of fish options, crab cakes and of course the obligatory lobster rolls but they have a killer haddock sandwich which we always order with a slice of cheddar...mmmm! Their burgers are also excellent! They occasionally have live music but the absolute best thing about The Wharf is the setting!!! The Wharf has the most amazing waterside deck with incredible views! Sit and sip as sailboats glide by! ”
