“Another great ski resort. In the fall they offer a free lift for everyone during the peak foliage before the snowfall. Great place to see the changing of the leaves. They also have an incredible zip line in the late spring through the early fall. ”

“If you have time for a SPA trip - the one at the Omni Mount Washington is one of our favorite. Plan to spend the day to enjoy the full experience - steam showers, sauna, hot tub... and we recommend ordering the cheese plate and prosecco for lunch! ”

“Great place to pick up a trail map, have a bite to eat and hike. We love the fairly easy hike up Elephant's Head nearby. The view from the top of a rock that really does look like an Elephant's head is breathtaking.”

“Great food (and pizza) AND they are located across the street (Rt 302). Check their hours before heading over because they are closed a few nights a week, depending on the season.”

“A grand old inn at the base of Mt Washington--the tallest mountain east of the Rockies. Wonderful grounds with endless hiking, great golf open to the public and several places to eat and drink including a cave jazz club/speakeasy. My fave is Stickneys--with stunning views of the mountain, good creative fare and outside dining in summer.”

“One of our top-three hikes in the Whites. Easy-moderate 3 mile each way hike to the Zealand Falls Hut in the Pemigewasset Wilderness. Incredible forest vistas, streams, ponds and the Zealand Falls at the end.”

“This is an out-and-back hike 5.4 mile hike to the summits of Mount Martha and Owl's Head: two peaks on Cherry Mountain (directly west of the northern Presidentials). Rated as difficult and steep in parts, Mount Martha offers views to Franconia Ridge and Owl's Head has excellent views to the Presidentials, including Mount Washington. Mount Martha is included on New Hampshire's 100-highest list.”
