  • Nous avons absolument adoré notre séjour à Kero Cabin, c'était vraiment confortable et paisible avec la rivière qui coule à l'avant et le fait d'être entouré d'arbres et de verdure. La cabine elle-même était super propre et confortable. C'était comme si nous étions au fond de la forêt alors que nous n'étions qu'à 5 minutes en voiture de la ville. Enfin, Charles était très serviable et nous a donné des conseils sur la marche à suivre.

    My place is a 2 bedroom cottage in the Lorne hinterland at Allenvale, just 2kms from town and the popular Lorne beach. You’ll love the natural bush surroundings, kangaroos and Kookaburra's, streams and bush walking tracks. My place is good for couples, solo adventurers, and families (with kids).
    Enjoy the morning on the front balcony in an Adirondack chair overlooking the citrus orchard and Henderson Creek, then move to the rear balcony with BBQ that is soaked in afternoon sun. Polished timber floorboards, eclectic antique furnishings throughout give Gables that home away from home feel.
    Each room has large recycled sash windows opening out to beautiful valley setting and story book scenes.

    The perfect Lorne ocean view location on the Great Ocean Road, across the road from the beach with private garden courtyard and a flat walk to everything. We personally ensure professional apartment disinfection and sanitisation for each new guest. Located behind the Grand Pacific Hotel and the Lorne Pier, this apartment is spacious with a north facing sunny aspect. Just metres from the apartment you can swim, surf, beach walk, enjoy the sunrise, Pub, seafood restaurant.
    Our sunny swell view apartment is perfect for couples, or friends travelling together. It sleeps a maximum of 3 with a queen bed in the spacious bedroom, and a single sofa bed in the lounge room. Quality 100% cotton sheets of 1200 thread count, and feather duvets and pillows provided for all beds. Cotton towels, hand and face towels also provided. Our courtyard garden is perfect for a sunny breakfast with teak outdoor furniture, and also receives late afternoon shade under our mature olive tree. There are a number of iconic surf breaks a short walk from the apartment, including Lorne Point and St George River mouth. Walking options from the apartment are endless and include 10 minute flat walk (a rarity in Lorne due to the rugged geography) into town to visit Lorne's boutiques and renowned cafes and restaurants. You can be in the Otway National Park within a few minutes walk south of the apartment and enjoy cool fern gullies, peaceful and pristine beaches and abundant wildlife. The apartment enjoys split system air conditioning/heater, full sized kitchen with dishwasher and as well as washing machine. We are happy to provide linen for the sofa bed if required, please let us know prior to arrival. There is no additional charge for use of the sofa bed, however a third guest incurs a charge of $50 per night. Simply enter amount of guests when seeking quote. Thank you. Pets - While this apartment is not suitable for most dogs, we operate a dog hosting business in the hinterland, just 20 minutes from Lorne. We can pickup/drop off dogs from the apartment in Lorne. Your dog/s (up to 2 at a time) can enjoy being treated as part of the family, with 24 hour personalised care, on our rural acre property. Our furry friends stay inside with us in our mud brick home, sleeping by the fire or in the bedroom with us! - if that is what they prefer. Dogs are walked twice a day, in the bush or on the beach.     Lorne is situated on Victoria's Great Ocean Road, an easy 2 hour (approx) drive from Melbourne. Lorne is a unique coastal town in Australia located within the Otway Ranges. It has stunning natural beauty within a north-east facing, forest covered, amphitheater. Yet, the town also has a sophistication not experienced in many other coastal areas. The commercial area is contained within one main street that provides all manner of boutique shopping, a cinema, and high quality cafe's and restaurants. Given the Grand Pacific Hotel is located just meters from the apartment, its hard to go past for great ocean views, quality meals, craft beer, and friendly service. We also love 'Ipsos' a Greek restaurant with a long family history in Lorne and 'Movida' (a Melbourne Spanish icon) which has expanded to the lower level of the Lorne Hotel. The quality restaurants include Mexican, Japanese, Indian, Italian and an iconic burger joint called 'Bottle of Milk'. The best breakfast is probably at the Swing Bridge Cafe, located literally where the Erskine river meets the ocean. If you like eating on the beach, the Beach Pavilion has fantastic food with great winter specials. Good coffee spots abound in Lorne - try 'Moons', 'Swing Bridge Cafe', 'HAH'.

    Gum View Retreat is perfectly positioned in Lorne, just a 5-10 minute walk to the main beach and town centre where you will find amazing shopping and an abundance of great cafe's and restaurants. Please note the walking access from the beach and main street back to Gum View is via a hill. Makes having that ice cream a little more guilt free! There are beautiful bush walks close by including Teddy's Lookout, Allenvale - George River, Kalimna Falls and Erskine Falls.

    If you're looking for a private, modern, well insulated comfortable apartment set in the stillness of the bush but close to downtown Lorne, with a cool mid century ambiance and all the comforts of home, then this might be what you're looking for.
    The apartment is one of two sitting side by side on the top floor facing out into the bush and ocean beyond. The unit consists of two bedrooms. The first bedroom containing a Queen size bed. The second bedroom contains a single bed and a bunk bed. The bunk bed consists of a double bed on the bottom and a single on top. The bathroom contains a toilet, shower, washer and dryer. It has a fully functional kitchen including a smeg oven/stove, and microwave. The unit is very well insulated with all windows fitted with 'Low E' glass or double glazing. This along with a very efficient reverse cycle Aircon, makes the unit warm and comfortable in the depths of Winter, and cool in Summer. It is ideally suited for couples, a group of friends, or moderate size. Alternatively if you were to book the adjoining four bedroom apartment (Albert 1 also listed with Airbnb) it would be perfect for two to three families.
    The property is set on one acre of land. The block is sloping and the house elevated on one side so that the Unit sits at tree top level and faces into the bush towards George River and Ocean. The stillness of the location is intermittently broken by the sounds of the breaking surf below, the abundant bird life as well and the odd koala or two.

L'emplacement est très pratique pour explorer les sentiers de randonnée à proximité, nous avons apprécié la vue sur les arbres et la faune amicale qui se trouve à proximité de la maison. L'endroit a tout ce dont vous avez besoin et est adapté aux enfants, notre bambin a adoré l'espace et les jouets fournis. Nous reviendrons certainement.

    Pacific Views is a great apartment for those looking for an easy, comfortable beach holiday.
    A well appointed 2 bedroom apartment (1 queen bed and 1 trio bunk) with full kitchen and laundry facilities and most importantly, a magnificent ocean view. The beach, pier and Grand Pacific Hotel are all just a few minutes walk from your front door and with off street, undercover parking you won't be needing your car during your stay! Be prepared to see amazing sunrises over the bay, feel the warm sun sitting on the private balcony and hear the waves crashing on the rocks just 200m away. Facilities include: air conditioning, heating in lounge area and bedrooms, TV, DVD, CD, WiFi, weber BBQ, undercover parking x1.
  • Très bon week-end de Juillet passé dans cet appartement au calme avec très belle vue sur la mer. Les indications pour trouver et s'installer dans l'appartement sont très claires. 1 place de parking réservée et parking visiteur possible (sûrement plein en été) Le centre ville n'est pas tout proche mais ne ratez pas le teddy's lookout à 4mn au dessus de l'appartement où vous pourrez peut être croiser des kangourous sur le chemin.

    My small garden studio apartment is attached to a private dwelling in Lorne. Settle in and soak up the North sun in my lovely garden. You may even spot our resident koala in the gumtree. It is a short walk to Teddy's Lookout and Lorne beach, restaurants, and cafes. The studio is the perfect retreat to relax and recover from the long drive along the Great Ocean Road The Queen bed with ensuite, TV/DVD, kitchenette & private deck. Perfect for a short stay whilst exploring the Great Ocean Road, relaxing on the beach, bush walking, or sight seeing in the Otway rainforest. If you are traveling the Great Ocean Road Lorne is a great place to stop as it offers the only protected surf beach along the coast as well as access to the Otway Forest which surrounds the township. You therefore have the beach as well as the forest walks and waterfalls at your doorstep. You may even spot our resident koala in the tree. We are also regularly visited by King Parrots, Sulfur Crested Cockatoos, Black Cockatoos, Gang Gang Cockatoos as well as many other smaller native birds. We also often see Kangaroos and Wallabies in the forest behind our house and it is a very special place for us because of the wildlife here.     Southcliffe is a 2 bedroom lime stone cottage set in it's own private garden with access to Mountjoy Parade and an easy walk to Lorne's foreshore, surfing and swimming beaches. It's also situated 3 doors from the Lorne Hospital, a short walk to the pier, restaurants, hotels, P.O and shops. There is on site parking next to the cottage gate and a small sloping walk tofront door. Security, privacy and amenity are excellent. You will enjoy the peace and beauty of the garden.
    Southcliffe cottage offers 2 bedrooms, access to a laundry, barbeque and outside table under a shady umbrella. The kitchen has electric appliances: microwave, kettle, toaster, frypans, sandwich maker and coffee perculator. While there'a sloping walk to the front door, there are 2 flights of stairs winding through the delightful front garden to the front street below. Through the kitchen window you can glimpse the sea and certainly hear it. Bird life abounds and canbe viewed from front bedroom. The setting is beautifully peaceful. Sit in a deckchair and relax whileyouread.

  • Cet endroit est idéal pour une escapade tranquille à la campagne, à proximité de tout ce que Lorne a à offrir. Le chalet lui-même est joliment décoré et bien aménagé avec une cuisine complète, une table à manger, deux grands canapés et des espaces de restauration en plein air. Nous n'étions que deux (ma mère et moi), mais ce serait également bien pour un groupe d'amis. La campagne et les intérieurs donnaient l’impression que nous avions été transportés dans une villa à la campagne française. La vie des oiseaux et les visiteurs de kangourou l'ont rendu très spécial.

Les lits et les salles de bain étaient super et le salon très confortable. Tout ce dont on pourrait avoir besoin est fourni. Nous n'avons pas rencontré Caroline à cause de l'auto-enregistrement, mais la communication était très bonne. Une expérience 5 étoiles.

Wifi gratuit, smart TV, net flix disponible pour vous connecter. Carport pour votre voiture. Resterait encore. Nous étions 4 dames dans notre fin des années 50. Eu un bal. Lorne a beaucoup à offrir, boutiques, restaurants, cafés, promenades dans la brousse, galerie d'art Qdos à ne pas manquer, belles plages.

  • Les espaces de vie sont ouverts et spacieux. La maison est dans un cadre très calme adjacent à Queens Park Reserve et non loin de Teddy's Look Out et était charmant et calme. Le chauffage était très efficace pour les nuits fraîches. La maison était un pied-à-terre idéal pour un week-end de promenade dans les environs. Vous pouvez aller à pied au principal quartier commerçant, mais le retour est très raide. La maison était bien équipée et avait tout ce dont nous avions besoin.

  • Quel endroit magique !! Nous avions tellement besoin d'un endroit pour nous déconnecter de la vie trépidante de la vie et nous l'avons trouvé ici. Emplacement idéal au milieu des arbres avec une perspective sur l'océan - un remède pour l'âme. Le Birdlife, la faune, le calme, l'appartement ... le package complet. J'adore la décoration et l'ameublement ... vraiment ajouté à l'expérience. Cet endroit est un must. Merci Caroline, ton hospitalité était incroyable.

    Quiet area near the beach and pier. Walk to everything. I'd suggest a walk to town and beach along the ocean walking track and return via Smith street to admire the magnificent homes and panoramic views.

  • Nous avons apprécié notre séjour chez Andrew; c'était nostalgique car cela nous rappelait un bach traditionnel au kiwi. La vue est magnifique et vous ne pourrez jamais en avoir marre. Nous avons apprécié la visite des superbes perroquets royaux et des cacatoès effrontés. En termes d’emplacement, c’est au bout de Lorne et cela n’en a peut-être pas l'air, mais on peut facilement aller à pied au pub Lorne et au métis.

With large open plan living, a private balcony overlooking ocean views, and your own corner spa, it is a great base from which to explore the surrounding beaches, waterfalls, cafe culture and all that Lorne has to offer.
    The separate bedroom features a queen size bed and a sofa bed is located in the living area. The kitchen is fully equipped with modern appliances, including microwave/convection oven, stove top and dishwasher, whilst the luxurious bathroom incorporates a corner spa bath providing absolute indulgence.
    The Cumberland Resort is located in the main street of Lorne, and is just a hop, skip and a jump from Lorne's beautiful main beach. If you are looking for a change from the beach, why not explore some of the local waterfalls - there are 10 within 10 kilometres of Lorne. Blanket Leaf Picnic Area is an eight minutes drive away, with Erskine Falls only thirteen minutes away. You may also like to visit the nearby hamlet of Deans Marsh, a scenic 25 minute drive through the Great Otway National Park. En route, why not pay a visit to Pennyroyal Raspberry Farm for pick-your-own farm fresh berries (in season). If dining out is on your menu, Lorne has many restaurants and cafes, with 'Ipsos' (Mediterranean food), 'Cuda Bar and Restaurant' (Australian/Mediterranean), 'Lorne Central' (Australian food) and 'Swing Bridge Cafe' (Australian food) being some of the highest ranked eateries on TripAdvisor, and just across the street from the apartment is the Lorne Hotel where you can get a meal if you fancy eating at the pub. C'était magnifiquement propre, soigneusement fourni avec des livres, des jeux, des produits alimentaires (nous avons apprécié le large choix de thés!) Et une abondance de serviettes et d'articles de toilette. C'est dans un endroit fantastique et Dan donne des instructions très claires et répond rapidement pour rendre votre séjour aussi facile que possible. La piscine, le spa et la salle de sport sont tous propres, faciles d'accès et aident à réduire les calories accumulées pendant votre absence! Je recommanderais vivement l'endroit de Dan à Lorne.

    This apartment is a lovely spot for two. It's all about the view of the ocean. It faces North and therefore it is lovely and sunny all year round. After you park the car &unpack your surfboard & wetsuit you are a short walk to the beach. The lounge room features a large flat screen TV, Norwegian style dining table and 6 chairs (in case you invite friends for dinner). There are glass sliding doors that open onto a fabulous deck, with table and chairs for an alfresco afternoon aperitif enjoying the view. There is a fully equipped kitchen with electric oven and cooktop, dishwasher, fridge, expressi coffee machine and kettle. We have hidden a few essentials in the cupboard (microwave, toaster and cleaning equipment). In the fully equipped kitchen you will find a Expressi coffee machine and pods, & T2 teas. If you would like to invite parents or parents in law, but want to give them (and you) a bit of space, a Hotel Room at La Perouse is close by and available for short stays all year round. The women at La Perouse serve a set breakfast daily between 8 - 10am Parisian style on the terrace if you would like to join them (bookings essential). PLEASE NOTE - The apartment is located opposite the Lorne pier and does have a few stairs from the rear carpark to the entrance. Northern light pours onto the deck, and on into the home through a complete wall of glazing. Uniquely situated on the Western Side of Lorne, Ballam faces north and remains protected form any cool winds year round - perfect for outdoor living! In the main living area's, low maintenance Bolon Vinyl flooring features, and a brand new chef's kitchen and luxurious family bathroom make daily tasks a pleasure rather than a chore. The new kitchen includes a full suite of cooking equipment for the post-beach hunger. The bathroom, large enough to swing a cat (maybe a towel) includes two luxurious shower heads. Simple bedrooms, two queen featuring coastal views, and a bunk room looking onto the backyard, and fire pit, will provide adequate rest for another day of surfing. However, this house is all about being outside. There is simply no other place to be but the elevated Northern Deck. With views onto Loutitt Bay and back to Lorne, and fitted with numerous furniture/lounge options, it may be hard to leave..... Below the deck, an outdoor bath and shower, repatriated from the original bathroom, provide a unique and memorable way to rest and reflect on a day in the sun.

  • Maison fantastique dans un excellent emplacement. Ma famille et moi avons passé 5 nuits chez Dan / Nick et nous n'aurions pas pu rêver d'un meilleur séjour, vivement recommandé. Dan et Nick étaient des hôtes fantastiques, répondant extrêmement rapidement à toutes les demandes. La maison a fourni tout ce que vous attendez d'une maison de vacances, simple mais efficace. La seule chose que nous suggérons peut-être un peu de chauffage dans les chambres pour les séjours d’hiver, mais nous savions qu’il n’y en avait pas et nous sommes préparés.   • Nous avons passé un séjour fantastique à Ballam. Le temps était horrible, c’était donc une excellente excuse pour rester à l’intérieur et s’installer confortablement autour de la cheminée. La vue est belle. Des taches d'eau parmi les gommiers. Avec seulement le bruit des oiseaux rompant le silence, on avait l'impression d'être au milieu de nulle part. Mais si proche de la ville! Élégant mais simple. Canapés confortables, lits confortables, super douche, superbe bain en plein air. Dan a fait en sorte que nous passions un excellent séjour et que nous puissions communiquer facilement avec lui. Sera certainement de retour. Assurez-vous de prendre note de leurs conseils locaux (le restaurant Ipsos était un délice). Je recommande vivement une escapade à Ballam Beach House.

    Lorne's best family accomodation!! A beautiful 3 bedroom wheelchair friendly home. Breathtaking views of the ocean and a 500 metre walk from the Main Street and swimming beach. A playroom for the little ones and a secure expansive deck for everyone to enjoy. Under cover carport parking and easy access to all of the nearby attractions the Great Ocean Road has to offer. The perfect family beach house with all of the creature comforts.
    Our house is perfect for families or couples. We sleep 8 comfortably, 3 bedrooms, open plan living, dining and kitchen. Separate playroom (viewable from the living area). 2 toilets, 2 bathrooms. Huge decking area with amazing views, bbq, outdoor dining and sitting area. Ample carport space for atleast 2 vechiles. Please note we do not supply any food or condiments. We have a local supermarket where you can purchase anything you need :) Strictly no party's, schoolies or events. (Please note we have a 10pm noise restriction to respect our neighbours).

  • Nous avons eu un groupe de 6 adultes, 1 enfant et un bébé de sept mois. La maison était grande et avait plus qu'assez d'espace pour notre groupe! Très propre, ce qui le rend idéal pour les familles avec enfants. Il y a aussi une aire de jeux pour occuper les enfants. Dans les 5 minutes à pied de la ville et à environ 10 minutes de l'épicier. Sam est super réactif et ce fut une excellente expérience dans l'ensemble! Je recommanderai certainement des amis s'il y a une visite à Lorne

  • Super endroit spacieux. Très belle vue. Belle terrasse avec beaucoup de cacatoès. Lorne est incroyable. Sachez que si vous ne louez pas de linge, vous ne trouverez ni torchons ni tapis de bain. Gardez à l'esprit que la maison est en haut d'une colline escarpée.

The home is also a short drive to various local tourist attractions including Erskine Falls. Don't get caught on the wrong side of Lorne during the holidays. No need to drive anywhere. Park the car and relax. Many houses claim to be "in Lorne", but there is a need to drive everywhere, and then find a park! That's not a holiday. The property comfortably accommodates 10 people with a master king bedroom, second queen bedroom and third bedroom with two double bunks (double bottom, single top) sleeping 6 people in total. All bedrooms have separate air-conditioning units. The large kitchen with a 2 door fridge, double oven, large pantry and separate ice-maker make this the perfect home for entertaining. The robot vacuum cleaner can take care of the housekeeping while you relax on the expansive deck with ocean views complete with BBQ and 10 seater outdoor dining table.   • Notre séjour a été paisible, reposant et dans l'ensemble très agréable !! Nous utilisons le balcon et la vue, nous avions beaucoup d’espace. Nous avons adoré la cheminée et le salon / cuisine au dernier étage. Les lits étaient bien et l'emplacement était idéal. Je reviendrais ici!

    La Perouse is a small hotel by the sea located in Lorne, a popular destination on the Great Ocean Road, halfway between Melbourne and the 12 Apostles. Our lovely establishment has undergone an extensive transformation over the past decade. There are four beautifully appointed rooms all with ensuites (some have baths as well). Breakfast is served daily from 830am in the La Perouse kitchen or on the green Parisian style (depending on the weather).     We are perfectly situated halfway between the 12 Apostles and Melbourne, an hours drive to the Cape Otway Lighthouse and a 15 minute drive to Split Point Lighthouse. The Surf Coast Walk is on our doorstep. Erskine Falls is 10 mins drive from Lorne. You will find many places to eat a 5 minute walk from La Perouse. There are numerous fantastic bars-pubs-cafes-restaurants-hidden gems in Lorne.
