“A lovely large park with tennis courts and sports oval and grand-stand, ideal for jogging, with views of the harbour and large marina. It can be confusing on a map how to get there so our tip is take Roslyn St off Darlinghurst Rd turn left into Roslyn Gardens, and right into Warratah St, a 10 minute walk from the apartment.”

Restaurant grec
“For some thoroughly modern Greek dining in an industrial chic interior. We highly recommend the Saganaki cheese, the Wild Weed and Cheese Pie, oh and the Loukoumades honey doughnuts for dessert… It is very popular and does not take reservations, so get here early (before 7pm) to get a table, or alternatively put your name down with the waiter, and head for a drink at Monopole or The Roosevelt just up the road and they’ll call you when a table is ready (usually a 45 min wait).”

Farmers Market
“Nestled amongst the neighbourhood’s Art Deco buildings, this colourful market is just across the street from the apartment, which is lovely to wake up to on a Saturday or Sunday morning. The organic farmer’s market is buzzing on Saturdays from 8am until around mid afternoon with fresh produce. The Sunday market features bric-a-brac, as well as food stalls. The bacon & egg rolls are legendary.”
