  • This was a fabulous place to find. Out in the middle of the mountains with a great view. Beautiful accommodations. The hosts anticipated every need and met them before we arrived. We were surprised by the most fabulous macaroons ever. Thanks.

  • Christine and her husband John were fantastic hosts for our stay in Lincoln. Both are extremely friendly and willing to offer great suggestions on what to do and eat. They have built themselves and their guests a beautiful home(s) in the mountains. The location was perfect for a getaway yet very accessible to great local towns with awesome feels and food .. We could have stayed in their backyard playing with their dog Nellie forever . The actual living space was just as wonderful as everything else . Spectacular views and beautiful decorating done by Christine of course. The barn and everything about this area is perfect. I hope to come back soon! Thank you!

  • Christine is a FABULOUS host with an AMAZINGLY comfortable and charming property! The Luxury Barn Apartment is VERY spacious and is beautifully designed and decorated. From the vaulted post and beam ceilings to the heated marble floor in the bathroom, this property is the 'home I WISH I had away from home'! Greeted with hugs and fresh-baked gluten-free biscotti, my girlfriend and I couldn't have imagined finding a better place to relax, unwind and rejuvenate our spirits during our visit to Vermont. Christine: Thank you SOOOOO much for sharing your wonderful home with us. We had a great time and can't wait to visit again in the summer!!!

    David2014-04-28T00:00:00Z
  • My boyfriend and I had the pleasure of staying at this magical barn during the winter while the mountain was covered with snow, which provided a beautiful view of the mountains every morning. Christine was very warm and welcoming and the barn was cozy and very clean. It was just as the description described. Christine provided great recommendations of places to visit and was very attentive to our needs while also providing us privacy. We had an amazing time and can't wait to come back and experience this spot during the summertime! I would highly recommend this spot!

  • We loooved the barn!

    Nicole2016-09-03T00:00:00Z
  • The loft was adorable. It is well maintained and immaculate - you can really tell Barry and Jenny take great care of the space. We enjoyed seeing the chickens and meeting the cats, they added a very rustic, comfortable feeling to our getaway from the city. Also, Jenny's granola was super delicious. All around, great place to stay. 10/10.

    Lisa2016-04-12T00:00:00Z
  • We had an extraordinary stay in Barry's and Jenny's barn loft. The loft is spacious and cozy even for the three of us. Everything was clean and we enjoyed Jenny's granola with yoghurt for breakfast. The garden is inviting, but we couldn't use it, because Vermont itself is such a great place, that there wasn't enough time. Barry and Jenny were such great hosts. We can highly recommend there place.

    Stefan2016-08-14T00:00:00Z
  • Jenny met us the night we got in and showed us around the unit. It's the kind of place we love - rustic, open, cozy. It had everything we needed (except for a kitchen-like sink) like tea, coffee, cream, etc., and Jenny even left us some home made yogurt and granola. We had a tremendous, relaxing time there and wished we could have stayed longer. One night it poured rain and it was so cool sitting and listening to it pounding on the roof. The house is an easy drive to Burlington and was the perfect idyllic getaway for us both.

    Nick2015-10-20T00:00:00Z
  • Berry and Jenny were so hospitable. They had delicious yogurt and homemade granola ready for us. They space was so relaxing, very well thought out and private. It was a true getaway.

  • Incroyable ! C’est une expérience unique! Hors du temps et de la civilisation c’est l’endroit parfait pour se ressourcer et déconnecter.. À faire absolument ! En plus on a eu des beaux œufs frais des poules de Laura qui nous a très bien reçu!

  • Beautiful cabin in the woods. Great access to hiking trails right out your doorstep. We stayed through a snowstorm and were able to stay nice and warm with the wood stove - just make sure to keep it running all day! All in all, an ideal place to feel totally off the grid.

    Kevin2016-12-31T00:00:00Z
  • Had a great stay! Around 4ft of snow was on the ground while we visited so we went skiing at Bolton Valley

  • The cabin is beyond special. We loved every minute of our adventure!

    Jennifer2017-07-30T00:00:00Z
  • This cabin in a gem! Not too far out of the way to get to, but feels like you're in the middle of nowhere. The cabin is ready to go as soon as you arrive, already stocked with wood so you can get the wood stove cooking. The most cozy cabin and a great place to get away from it all.

    Gage2017-04-02T00:00:00Z
  • The cabin was definitely a unique experience. Laura was very accommodating and made sure I needed everything for the stay. There are trails connected to the cabin that was great for short morning hike. I would definitely come back again in the future.

  • It's a beautiful place in the middle of the mountains, if you are going in the winter make sure to bring ice cleats, we plan on returning in the summer because it got a little too icy for us but Laura was very helpful she helped us bring down all our stuff and even had the fire going when we arrived!

  • Our stay at Jeremy & Meg's was short but comfortable! We felt very much at home at their place and loved the homey touches and unique styling. Bed was comfy, kitchen was well-equipped, and the views were fantastic. It's tucked up off the main road but literally only a few minutes into town. I'd stay here again should I ever visit Waitsfield in the future.

    Mariah2017-06-04T00:00:00Z
  • Super cute and cozy spot up on a hill. Meg and Jeremy were really accommodating and nice even when we accidentally locked ourselves out late at night. Oops (don't forget to write down the code if you go outside ha). Would definitely recommend a stay here if you're in the area.

    Michelle2018-03-19T00:00:00Z
  • This studio was perfect for our 3 days exploring Mad River. Was even better than expected. Great cosy and stylish space, perfect for what we needed and comms with Jeremy and Meg were easy and very helpful. The mountain views were ideal! Highly recommend this place it’s sooo lovely.

    Annie2018-10-01T00:00:00Z
  • There's a reason these two are super hosts. From the coffee station (complete with whole beans and a grinder), to the lovely views of the garden from the bedroom, this place is a welcoming respite. Materials for cooking (hot plate and pans, etc) provided for those interested. No TV, but plenty of great reading material in the studio as well as close proximity to the center of town (~2 miles). I'd recommend taking a trip to the local farmer's market on Saturdays in the town's central plaza. Lots of great food, cool artisan products, and some live music. Book the trip and you'll enjoy it, summer OR winter.

Real Vermont experience on a micro-farm only 10 minutes from Stowe, 15 minutes to Montpelier and 30 minutes to Burlington just off I-89. 1 BR, 1 BA, with full kitchen. 42 Acres of land to explore. Easy access, on main road, ski, hike & bike central!
Cozy and comfortable basement apartment in Waterbury. Apartment is located on 42 acres of farm, forest and field with a brook running through, which is great for cooling off in the summer months. We have a small farm on site. We have a dog who is very friendly but does like to bark at new guests (we try to keep her in at arrival times and introduce her to guests) and Nigerian dwarf goats, all very friendly. Apartment is beneath the main house with separate entrance, full bathroom, one bedroom and full kitchen. While it is beneath main house, it has lots of light. However, you can expect some noise from above like footsteps during the day and when my kids wake up in the morning. We try our best to keep the noise minimal. Bedroom has a queen-sized bed. Apartment is approximately 700 sq ft. We have a pullout sleeper sofa. Ample parking available. Location is minutes to downtown Waterbury with world-class food and beer. Minutes to great hiking and mountain biking. 30 minutes to Burlington, 20 minutes to Montpelier, 10 minutes to Stowe. Ski areas within 30 minutes drive: Stowe, Sugarbush, Bolton, and Mad River. Central location to explore all Vermont has to offer. We also own a great restaurant, bar and event space called Zenbarn right next door! We are Vermonters, we love our land and can't wait to show you what Vermont has to offer!
Waterbury is a small community with lots going on, quintessentially Vermont. Home to world class mountain biking, Ben and Jerry's (w/in 1/2 mile of our farm), world class beer, hiking and more... also minutes to Burlington, Montpelier, Stowe and Waitsfield for great skiing, shopping, recreation and more...

  • Noah's apartment is a great get-away for a couple. It was very spacious, clean and comfortable. The property is beautiful and the goats are very adorable! Very close to many fun locations and hiking. We would definitely come back!

    Zachary2015-11-09T00:00:00Z
  • The apartment is located on a very cute little farm. We took a little walk around and it was beautiful. The apartment itself is nice and well-equipped. Noah and his wife were very nice.

    Carl2016-07-10T00:00:00Z
  • Noah’s place was nice and the goats were cute. Check in and communication were good enough, and the location is close to Stowe. As others have mentioned, the stairs are fine if you can walk. Someone noted in their review that there weren’t towels - this is wrong. There were definitely towels when we arrived. And the bed is comfortable! Ivan

  • Ellen was a wonderful host. The photos of her cabin do not do it justice, the space is a must see in person. Her animals were adorable and all very friendly! Star gazing on her front porch swing was a highlight of my weekend. Staying here we felt like we really got the quintessential Vermont experience. I would highly recommend the space to friends and return for another visit.

  • We had a nice stay in Montpelier at Bonne's place. Bonne was respectful and communicative, flexible with our requests and a gracious host. The apartment was very clean, the king bed was comfortable and the neighborhood was quiet and beautiful. It is completely walkable to downtown but it is a bit of an uphill hike on the way back. Check in and parking were super easy. Overall this was a great experience!

    Christine2016-10-08T00:00:00Z
  • Bonne was a great host. She was very welcoming and quick to respond to any questions we had. I would gladly stay here again.

  • Staying at Bonne's place was a wonderful, welcoming experience. She is a kind and thoughtful host, and the location is convenient to both downtown Montpelier and VCFA.

It's the perfect place to relax and have a staycation! Or a real vacation it's the perfect spot for snow bums, summer lovers or people who just want to experience Vermont!
This space was built by us and the help of each of our families! It is on 30 acres that we also live on. Here on the property we have bees, chickens, a small pond & brook plus more wildlife than you can imagine. It is so joyful to sit and listen to the song birds or watch the deer graze. It is a place of joy and laughter and we would love to bring others to enjoy what we get to enjoy everyday.
We love how close we are to down town but still out in the woods. We love being on a dirt road but still only one mile from pavement!
  • Really quaint cabin on a beautiful property. Would stay again!

    Devin2018-05-26T00:00:00Z
  • Great cabin! Peaceful setting just a few minutes to shops and local restaurants in Montpelier. We stayed a few weeks here and Dustin and Leah were super accommodating and helpful. Highly recommend!

A beautifully decorated 2 bedroom getaway. Located in the bottom level of our triplex. Full kitchen with all amenities. Either you can come by yourself with friends or family (Dogs Allowed) A fully functional kitchen with stove, refrigerator, toaster, kuerig and all plates and utensils there for your use.
Our place is great! We are child friendly. We allow dogs, we have an open field to the left of the apartment where you can pull your children on a sled or walk the dog. We are close to stores and restaurants, just a mile south of the apartment. We are about 35 minutes from Mad River Glen and 45 minutes from Sugarbush. If you want to go to Middlebury, that is only 12 miles south or the City of Burlington which is only 35 miles north. Close enough to enjoy but far enough away to not bother your peace and quiet. If you like it toasty, we have radiant heat that heats the floor to keep it toasty warm.
We love our neighborhood because we know each of our neighbors. 2 of our grown children live here and we also own HIRS which is Heffernan Inspection and Repair, just up from the apartment. We love where we live and hope you will come visit. Big field to play with your dogs.
  • Erin's place is the perfect apartment for a family! We came with our baby and dog, and everyone loved it. The apartment was super clean, comfortable furniture, and the kitchen is fully stocked with all the pots/pans/dishes we needed to cook. Plus a brand new dishwasher that made cleaning up easy. The location is great for skiing, just go over the mountain pass to Mad River and Sugarbush. Super convenient location to get to the supermarket and restaurants in the beautiful little town of Bristol, as well. There is plenty of parking and a dedicated entrance. They plow the driveway so no need to worry about shoveling out, either! Internet/wifi was about 15Mbps download, so great for streaming too.

  • We stayed at Erin and Steven’s apartment for a weekend away with our kids and dog. The apartment was comfortable and had everything we needed. It was in a quiet area with Mountain Views. It was just as described in the listing. We had a great time.

    Brenda2018-01-29T00:00:00Z
  • Fantastic. Erin and Steven's place is in a quiet, beautiful spot not far from the heart of Bristol (a two minute drive). They provided us with everything we needed and more. The beds were comfortable and the kitchen was a nice big size to cook all our meals in. I especially appreciated the wifi and Roku (we were there for awhile and I needed to do work) as well as the air conditioning (we arrived during an unexpected heat wave!). Erin and Steven were very easy to get ahold of if we needed anything, and both were very attentive and kind. We had a great experience at their place as we enjoyed our big Vermont adventure!

  • Erin & Steven's place was wonderful. Quiet, private and very comfortable. We enjoyed our stay there. It was a breeze to get back and forth from Middlebury during graduation weekend. Great place to celebrate with graduates of Middlebury College. Took a lot of the anxiety of finding a place to stay for graduation right out of the picture. Thank you.

    Louis2018-05-28T00:00:00Z
  • Erin and Steve are wonderful hosts. The apartment is very comfortable and has everything you need. The beds are comfortable and the whole space is warm and welcoming. A great location - convenient to the to shops and restaurants in Bristol. This was our second stay and it was as great as the first stay

Old world class meets laid back Vermont charm....a perfect Mad River Valley getaway. Conveniently located on a quiet and beautiful dirt road just one mile from route 100 and 4.5 miles from downtown- enjoy views of Camels Hump and Sugarbush from the private deck.
Persian rugs, homage to Renoir, and an original Grandma Moses relay a sense of wonder while reminders of our love for skiing will most certainly not be over shadowed. We have a robustly supplied kitchen equipped with practically anything you need for a successful night as chef. A queen air mattress and queen futon in addition to our full size bed make this space very workable for groups both small and big. Enjoy a Camels Hump sunset on the deck and then head down to our fire pit for s'mores and good tales. We know you will love it here in this first floor apartment.
We live exactly one mile from a beautiful riverside trail perfect for an easy sunset walk. Our road is simply beautiful with spectacular trees and plenty of cows you can see and hear from the house.
  • A clean, comfortable and convenient place to stay when visiting the Warren/Waitsfield area. Very close to Sugarbush and Mad River Glen ski areas. Also a convenient base to explore Stowe and Burlington. A well equipped kitchen, plenty of towels and linens, high speed internet, and a washer and dryer were appreciated. A microwave oven and a Smart TV for streaming Netflix, Hulu ect. would be a welcome addition. A nicely appointed space with plenty of Vermont charm and character. Jamie and Ellie are great hosts and communicate quickly and preemptively. I look forward to staying here again the next time my travels take me to the area.

    Jeff2018-04-08T00:00:00Z

  • Jamie and Ellis' place was great. Provided clear directions prior to arrival. It was everything we needed for a weekend trip away to Vermont.

    Katie2017-10-09T00:00:00Z
  • This place is so cute and so is the area/neighborhood it's located in. When I planned this trip, I wanted to stay somewhere that was in a country setting, away from the big city, and this more than met my expectations: we were within 10 minutes of the local market and city center; a short drive from Stowe, the picturesque small town; there was a farm with fresh meats, egg, and corn just down the road; and just past it was a covered bridge (one of the things Vermont is famous for). The apartment had all the basics for cooking at home (which we did on three occasions), it accommodated up to 6 people, and the wifi worked very well. Jamie and Ellis communicated with me via email just before the trip letting me know they were available at any time and getting access to the property was easy. It was fun waking up to cows mooing outside our door and we absolutely loved seeing the free-roaming bunny rabbits at the farm at the corner of our street (we're big city girls). It was so very peaceful out there, the air smelled wonderful, and we could see lots of stars in the sky at night. It would have been nice to use the fire pit out front but it was not cold enough and to be honest we were very cozy indoors. I would definitely rent this place again.

This is a brand new, private, studio apt with large deck located in Camels Hump State Park, at the Burrows trailhead. Take advantage of being in the woods of Vermont, as close as you can get to hiking trails, backcountry ski trails, xc ski trails, mountain biking trails, and a short drive to some of the areas best ski resorts. You’ll love my place because of the private, unique location. AWD or 4WD recommended for winter guests as we live on a semi-steep mountain road.
Relax on the large, private deck overlooking the forest at the end of a fun-filled day out on the trail. All furnishings are new and contemporary in design. Kitchen is equipped with all pots/pans and utensils needed to make a nice dinner and breakfast. The couch is top of the line, memory foam conversion bed. You'll sleep well after a great day of adventure out in the woods! The apartment also includes a private, full-bathroom (tub, sink and shower) for that nice hot shower you'll be craving. We provide tea, coffee, 1/2 & 1/2 and sugar for our guests. Note that there is a dead-bolted, locked door that adjoins an office space to the studio. The office has it's own separate entrance and is only used during normal business hours (8-6).
We are at the very end of the road...the property is surrounded by State Forest on 3 sides and no other houses in the area. In town there is a great little convenience store and gas station for anything you may need to pick up. We will have a list of great local restaurants, etc. in the space should you choose to venture out.
  • Keri was a fantastic host. Easy to communicate with, accomodating, and very nice (vermont locals are seriously the nicest people). Her carriage house was spotless, comfortable, modern, and had all the amenities we needed and more. We really enjoyed our stay and would highly recommend it to anyone! Look no further if you're looking for a great place to stay.

  • Beautiful little place!

    Tara2017-07-13T00:00:00Z
  • Such a beautiful place! The location is farther away from town than I realized, but still great. We didn't get to hike Camels Hump, but if you're looking to do that, this is certainly the place to stay! I didn't have any personal interaction with Keri, but the place was clean and ready for us when we arrived and she has a great little book of all the info that we needed. I would highly recommend this for anyone wanting to escape the city! The sights, smells, and sounds of the nearby nature were amazing. Thanks again, Keri!

    DeAnna2017-10-15T00:00:00Z
  • Keri was great and went out of her way to make our stay special. She was available when needed, but we also had plenty of privacy. The place was amazing. The pictures don't do it justice. Everything inside seems brand new and works well. There is no cell service, but the WiFi is excellent quality. There's no cable TV, but there is a smart TV you can watch Netflix or Hulu on. At first I was skeptical about the pullout couch, but once you lay down, the bed is super comfy. The trailhead for Camel's Hump is literally a stones throw away and definitely worth giving a go at, but you'll definitely want some snowshoes or added traction to get to the peak. I will definitely be coming back here next time I'm in Burlington.

Our cozy yurt is located within minutes of amazing hiking, biking, breweries and much more! Relax in our wood-fired sauna, sit around the campfire while listening to our resident owls, or stare up at the stars through the dome.
Our yurt has a loft where you can climb the ladder to a full-sized bed. Or you can sleep on the full-sized futon on the main floor. We closed in half of the area under the loft for the bathroom, including a composting toilet (don’t worry it contains a fan to eliminate odors) and shower. Please note there is a folding privacy screen but no door to the bathroom. The yurt has a fully equipped kitchen with a refrigerator, oven, stove, and sink. In colder weather the space is heated with a Rinai propane heater.
We’re located on a dirt road just 3 miles from Bristol Village where you can get the best burger in VT. There’s a small network of neighborhood hiking and mountain biking trails across the street. 15 min from Mt. Abraham trailhead, one of Vermont’s five 4,000’ mountains. 15 min from Middlebury.
  • Une belle expérience unique dans une yurte. Des hôtes très gentils et attentionnés. Bel espace pour un feu extérieur.

  • A mom and son get away before the return to college. We had a wonderful weekend. When Matt and Caitlin tell you they are only a text away, they aren't kidding. They were away the weekend we came but gave us very prompt responses to a few questions we had. And the maple syrup...excellent! Thanks for the experience.

  • Idyllic. John and Majula are priceless!

    Chris2017-05-20T00:00:00Z
  • My husband and 2 daughters thoroughly enjoyed our visit with John and Manjula. John did an amazing job refurbishing the mill - it is stunningly beautiful! We had fun climbing on the rocks and wading in the water and enjoyed the spectacular view and the sound of the water rushing through the gorge. John, Manjula and their cat, Oliver were incredibly welcoming. The beds were very comfortable and, though the room is not air conditioned, there was a cool breeze coming in the windows at night. We had full access to the kitchen, and John provided a “help yourself breakfast” one morning, and cooked us blueberry pancakes with freshly picked blueberries the next. I highly recommend staying at the mill.

    Lynn2018-07-22T00:00:00Z
  • John & Manjula are wonderful hosts who became fast friends. Their property is magical. The mill is truly an epicenter of love, great conversation and rejuvenation. We had a wonderful time exploring the property, hiking the meadows at dusk, enjoying lovely conversation over Stewart Martha's delicious homemade breakfasts and immersing ourselves in the wonderful Vermont countryside and community. The accommodations are luxurious, rustic, cleanly and truly built with TLC. We are excited for our next visit, game night and new/renewed friendships. Thank you for a truly lovely time!

    Dillon2017-01-02T00:00:00Z
  • John and Manjula's place is the kind of rich experience we love about airbnb. The beauty of the home's interior, its property, and the surrounding majestic natural features is surpassed only by the hosts' warmth and character. Everywhere you look, there are new elements of wonder both within and outside the home. We appreciate the attention to detail and creativity in the craftsmanship John and Manjula add to everything they do. If you love nature, the mountains, water, meeting new people, and want to explore this area of Vermont, this is an excellent choice. We have many fond memories to treasure and would highly recommend this place to others. Thank you!

    Valarie2018-09-26T00:00:00Z
  • the mill is something we fell in love with, the moment we arrived. John and Manjula made this a very cozy space where you are invited to relax. The waterfall is helping here as well. I think all other positive reviewers already wrote the perfect description of this place down. I just would like to add that this vacation was so much more, because of their hosts. John and Manjula are great hosts who invited us into their home to live a few days with them. I think this made the stay a highlight on our tour. John is such a great guy and it is fun to engage with him. also took the advice to take the outdoor shower. You can't start a day better like that. for sure we will come back :)

Gorgeous country retreat between Burlington and Middlebury. A "dimensionally transcendental" space (bigger on the inside ;o) built as an artist's studio, located in a meadow bordered by woods and a wide creek on 22 acres, magical in all seasons.
One large, 2-story room with two double beds: a bed on the main floor with a firm mattress, and a comfy futon on the sleeping loft. There's a well-equipped kitchen perfect for making romantic dinners, with new (spring 2016) under-the-counter fridge and commercial range. There are both electric and drip coffee set-ups, and a toaster. No microwave. A large dining table (made by a local furniture building from local wood) for the amazing dinners you'll make, or to spread out your work and find inspiration. The center of the space holds a comfy "living room" area with a new couch (spring 2016) to hang out in. The cozy bedroom corner on the main floor and the futon on the sleeping loft make for dreamy night sleeps, both have fans and windows to stay cool in the summer. The recently renovated bathroom has an antique claw-foot tub, with a removable plank "desk" for your book and glass of wine. There is a radio & CD player, and iPod/Phone hook-up, wireless internet, and a land line. As you can see from the reviews, it's a very special place, intimate in size but expansive in feel, because of the cathedral ceiling and wall of windows with a view onto the meadow, creek, and sunset. It's a beautiful artistic/rustic interior, quirky, with a high level of comfort, many lovely rugs, and a lot of art. Perfect for an active vacation, a romantic get-away, or a creative, spiritual, or rejuvenating retreat.
Great natural beauty with an intimate scale. Covered bridges, rolling hills, swimming holes, x-country ski trails, fresh eggs for sale across the road. A vibrant creek (actually a small river) borders the land with easy access for wading, swimming, and fishing. The neighborhood (accessible by car) also has cafés, restaurants, bakeries, markets, hardware, yoga . . . pretty much anything you'll need.
Unbelievable retreat near a small creek. Great host, easy to communicate with and really helpful. Would recommend this place anytime. It was gorgeous in late fall, so I can't even imagine how nice it must look the rest of the year!

Merci Janie!

  • My girlfriend and I stayed for a few days and had a great time. She had never been to VT before so I wanted to show her what I could. The cabin was amazing. It's perfect for two people looking to get away or for a small family looking to spend a little time together.

    Mitchell2013-02-19T00:00:00Z
  • Janie's retreat is amazing. My husband and I stayed and greatly enjoyed out time away from the hustle and bustle of what can be life. Great space to help you disconnect if you want to, but only a half hour away from Burlington. House was clean, and stocked with plates as well as cooking supplies. Janie was an excellent host and answered all our questions in a timely manner.

    Andrea2014-09-09T00:00:00Z
  • We had such an amazing time at Janie's Artist Loft. It was just the perfect amount of rustic and secluded, but also within close driving distance to Burlington. We had a fantastic weekend of exploring the beautiful property, eating local cheese and cooking in the perfectly well suited kitchen, and drinking great craft beer around the campfire. The house was warm and cozy on one unseasonably cold night, and on the warmer days/nights, we opened all of the windows to enjoy the fresh mountain air. I could't possible have been happier with this perfect (and beautiful) Artist Loft. This was as my perfect idea of a rustic and peaceful getaway. Thank you, Janie!!! We'll be back!

  • Janie's cabin is truly a diamond in the rough. Unassuming from the driveway but absolutely charming when you come around the corner. The cabin is full of character and a wonderful eclectic spirit. We spent a most idyllic weekend bike riding, reading, cooking and generally relaxing. We only wish we could have stayed longer. There's so much to explore nearby, and so much quiet to relish. Although we didn't meet, Janie was warm and communicative, a wonderful host. We look forward to coming back soon!

  • Janie was an incredible host and her country retreat is spectacular! Leading up to our stay, Janie was very friendly and speedy in responding to our questions. Upon arriving, we couldn't have been happier with the cabin - well equipped and thoughtfully put together. A perfect spot to relax - we spent one day enjoying the space and the grounds and our second day exploring farther afield in Burlington and beyond. We're looking forward to coming back at another time of year to see Vermont when it's a little warmer and greener outdoors.

  • We had such a wonderful time at Janie's cottage! We decided to go to Vermont for our honeymoon, and stayed here for a week. We had everything we needed, and easily made breakfast and dinner throughout the week. It was such a beautiful spot, and you feel like you are in the middle of nowhere (which is mostly true). :) We couldn't have asked for a more beautiful time, and will try to come back whenever we get the chance.

Our property is located in Warren, near the bottom of the Sugarbush Access Road. The Studio looks out over Clay Brook and the woods beyond. We are conveniently located with easy access to Mad River Valley attractions.
The Studio is situated in a quiet wooded setting within a few feet of Clay Brook. The perfect spot to sit and watch/listen to the brook or wade in and splash around to cool off on a hot summer day. The kitchen is fully equipped with cottage sized gas range, refrigerator and dishwasher. The dining/living area has dining space for two, a sofa, free standing gas fireplace and flat screen television. In the bedroom you'll find a queen sized bed with a memory foam mattress and a small flat screen TV. The bath is off the bedroom and has a glass enclosed shower. Outdoor space includes a deck and front porch with a gas grill, table and chairs. There is also a campfire pit at the edge of the brook which is available for use as burning conditions permit. Fishing right out the front door. There are small appetizer sized brook and rainbow trout waiting to be coaxed from pools and eddies further up the brook. The Mad River (within walking distance) is also known to produce some nice brook, rainbow, and brown trout.
The Mad River Valley is a rural community and most local grocery and convenience stores will close by 9:00 PM. Restaurants will serve dinner until 9:30 - 10:00 PM. Some late night spots, taverns etc. will server "pub fare" until around midnight. Late arrivals should plan to bring or pick up (in a larger town along the way) anything that you may want or need before morning. Our property located at the bottom of the Sugarbush Access Road, 3 miles from the Lincoln Peak Base Area at Sugarbush Resort. No winding roads or steep hill to climb to get to us...easy access during inclement weather (snow/ice). Our location provides easy access to local attractions, amenities, restaurants, shopping and all the Mad River Valley has to offer. We do have neighbors and our residence is on the property, however guests are pleasantly surprised at the degree of privacy afforded by the location of The Studio.
  • Staying at Clay Brook was great! The efficient space was comfortable and we were wanting for nothing. The kitchen was well stocked, the house was clean, the bed was very comfortable, and the setting spectacular. Communication was seamless. It's a short walk down a delightful path to the cottage that is just feet away from the brook. Siting out the deck listening to the brook was a highlight of staying there. The house is not far from the road but you hear nothing but the babbling brook as you fall asleep. I would heartily recommend this Airbnb location. You won't be disappointed!

  • Peaceful and perfect! These are the words I would use to describe this wonderful studio. Ken was always available. He was attentive, easy to communicate with and was generous with out check-in and check-out time. He took the time to show me around and respected our privacy. The studio was very clean and well stocked. The bed was perfection and was framed with windows overlooking the brook. The water running over the rocks lured us to sleep every night. The grounds were immaculate and beautiful. We didn't take advantage of the outside fire pit, but there was wood provided and marshmallows in the fridge! If ever given the opportunity to visit Vermont again - there is no question this is where I will stay!

    Jennifer2016-07-11T00:00:00Z
  • Ken and Ardis's place is amazing. Really cool space and the most idyllic setting on a babbling brook. Very clean, well maintained and cozy. Highly recommended!

  • A beautiful experience from start to finish. Such a serene, well kept, quiet space. Ken was very helpful and kind. Thank you so much! -Arielle + Trevor

  • Staying at Ken's studio was truly a dream. The bed and shower were fantastic and we loved having breakfast on the the little terrance, but the best part by far was falling asleep to the sound of the brook-- so relaxing! Ken's kindness and hospitality throughout our brief stay made our experience even more special. He was flexible with our check in/check out times, recommended us an amazing flatbread restaurant for dinner, and even came over late at night with spare toothpaste when we realized we forgot to pack some (oops). We had a wonderful weekend here, and would love to come back again one day!

    Stacey2016-05-09T00:00:00Z
  • We loved our stay at the studio! It's a really gorgeous space and feels so cozy in the winter, with it's gas fireplace, plentiful light, hardwood floors, and great sound system. We loved looking out the window into the beautiful, snowy woods. Ken and Ardis were so welcoming and made sure we had a comfortable stay, providing us with coffee and fresh fruit. I highly recommend this listing for a skiing trip to Sugarbush. It was very easy to drive to the mountain for the day, and we were also close to the cute towns for dinner.

    Meredith2015-02-01T00:00:00Z
  • We were in need of some R&R for a few days and were delighted to find the Clay Brook Studio available during our dates. The space was airy and spotless, with everything we could have needed for our getaway; it was just perfect for the 2 of us. We were able to fix a lovely dinner and enjoy it accompanied by the babble of the brook. Wifi made it possible to quickly deal with a surprise business call - much appreciated. Lots of nature to explore in the area. We hope to return in another season to enjoy this wonderful spot again!

    barbara2017-07-07T00:00:00Z
  • My husband and I could not have been happier with this lovely, brook side studio. Going to sleep listening to the brook was magical. The studio was immaculate, well stocked, and beautifully rebuilt by the current owner. For it's private setting in a stunningly beautiful part of Vermont, this is the place to stay. We are now relaxed and renewed.

Quiet, private, cozy one-room cabin next to the National Forest. Futon couch opens into a double bed that sleeps two. Kitchenette has a small refrigerator, microwave, coffee pot, and two-burner stovetop. The water supply is from a water dispenser. Simple source-separation bucket toilet. No shower. A Rinnai heater is available to keep you warm on chilly nights. A simple, no-frills kind of place, it is perfect for those wanting to spend time outdoors and hike, bike, and explore the area.
The cabin is rustic (think "glamping," but with a roof and four walls), yet cozy and comfortable. It is easily accessible from the road but is private and adjacent to acres of National Forest. You'll hear a stream and waterfall in the distance and birds at dawn. There are Adirondack chairs out front and a fire ring for a campfire. The cabin is stocked with numerous board games. Note, it is not actually a "tiny house" but Airbnb now asks you to choose what type of specific accomodation it is, and there is no option for cabin! An iHome allows you to plug in your iPhone and play music (but no WiFi).
The cabin is on a wooded, gravel road. There are other houses in the area, but it is decidedly rural. The Green Mountain National Forest is literally out your door.
  • Dan and Tara were amazing hosts. The cabin is a very simple, private, and comfortable location to stay for a nice long weekend. They provided lots of info about the area and the cabin. Upon arriving we found a clean cabin that reminded me of our family rustic cabin at home. We immediately felt very comfortable and relaxed! During our stay we enjoyed cooking in the cute little kitchen, a small hike leaving strait from the cabin, a water fall swim at the warren falls, hiking to sunset rock from Lincoln road (I think that’s the road), fishing at Blueberry lake, bathing in the mad river, and camp fires/games/reading at the cabin.

    Raven2018-08-20T00:00:00Z
  • Super cute cabin! My boyfriend and I stayed while attending Frendly Gathering nearby and it was absolutely perfect! Secluded and quite but just a few minutes from all local amenities so still convenient for sure. The cabin itself is clean, minimalistic and perfect! We cooked our dinners on the hotplate and spent time playing board games provided. Tara and Dan were awesome as well - always quick with responding, allowed us our privacy and provided a bunch of resources for markets, restaurants, and events in the area. Would definitely stay again and recommend to anyone looking for a place in the area!

  • I loved my last minute find staying at Dan and Tara's cabin in the woods of Warren, VT. Easy to find, basic and clean, no muss, no fuss! I just wish I'd had more time to spend to take advantage of the fire pit outside and do a little star gazing that evening. As it was, I really appreciated the last minute booking and easy communication from the hosts. I would definitely recommend the cabin to anyone interested in an economical, no frills accommodation in a prime location for jumping off to explore all that the Mad River Valley has to offer. Oh, and did I mention that there is a lovely little water fall just minutes down a pleasant path?!

    Jon2017-08-01T00:00:00Z
  • What a cute little cabin, and what a great location! This was a great place to cook dinner and sit by the fire outside at night, and during the day it was a great location for hiking in the mountains and jumping in the waterfalls. I highly recommend it!

Our clean, spacious yurt is the perfect retreat. We're in a secluded country setting, yet just a 10 minute drive to downtown Montpelier. We invite the single traveler, couple or family in any season. Enjoy adventures during the day, and come home to a comfortable bed, warm fire and the sounds of nature lulling you to sleep.
Our light-filled yurt offers an exceptional way to take a step back from a busy life. The yurt includes a queen bed, fold-out double futon, comfortable loveseat, full dining table, and dresser. A microwave, kettle, coffeemaker, and small fridge/freezer make it easy to prep a meal, keep a cold beverage and ice cream on hand, and heat up leftovers. Coffee and tea are provided. Inside the yurt there is a handwash station, and outside the yurt there is a sink with running cold potable water. A lovely stroll brings you to a shared full-bath with a large, tiled shower in the walk-out basement. The yurt is the perfect way to have a simple weekend adventure or longer vacation. We are more private and far more comfortable than a campground, and more interesting and fun than a typical hotel room or apartment. Children love the magical open and airy yurt, time in the hammock, and evenings by the campfire. You are also welcome to set up a tent. You also have access to your own firepit and picnic table.
East Montpelier is a beautiful, rural area. We are at the end of a private road, near conserved forest and farmland. Picturesque Adamant village is just a few miles away and is a fantastic place to enjoy a picnic by the waterfall. East Montpelier Trails maintains nearly a dozen miles of walking paths in our neighborhood. http://emtrails.org/ In Calais, visit a historic water-powered sawmill. Morse Farm is just a few miles away and is a wonderful place to cross-country ski in winter or check out their sugaring operation in February and March. For a fix of boutiques and restaurants, head into town and explore Montpelier or Barre, both just minutes away.
  • C'est un vrai paradis!

    Guay2018-07-27T00:00:00Z
  • Vous serez très bien accueillis à quelques pas de Montpelier dans un endroit où la nature permet de se ressourcer.

  • The yurt was a beautiful place to stay while traveling through the mountains of New England! It's definitely a rustic experience, but we found that to be a very enjoyable and unique experience. The property is beautiful, and Sharon was super helpful in providing us with recommendations of local restaurants, hiking trails, and other things to do. Also, the bed is incredibly comfortable. Highly recommend!

    Jessie2018-09-05T00:00:00Z
  • We stayed at Sharon's yurt for 4 nights and had a great time! The yurt was very different from anywhere we have stayed in the past, and it was really amazing to hear all the natural nighttime activity while drifting off to sleep. Sharon was a great host and very eager to share useful tips about Montpelier, hiking, and traveling to other nearby cities (like Burlington). Two points that I think should be stressed (and were in the description of the place) - first, the bathroom is located in the main home's basement - could be a little annoying if you needed to go to the bathroom in the middle of the night. And second, the yurt did get very hot during the day, even with the fan that was provided. Granted, we apparently arrived in VT during a heat wave so this shouldn't be a problem for most people but we didn't find it enjoyable to stick around in the yurt during the day. Other than that, we had a great time!

  • We had a fantastic weekend staying at Sharon’s special Yurt! My family stayed there with our 5 year old son and 7 month old daughter for graduation weekend at nearby Goddard College. The drive to Montpelier was so quick for a dinner or breakfast out with may great family friendly options. My husband and I enjoyed a fire under shooting stars while the kids slept in the yurt. The bathroom was just right down a path in the basement with a separate entrance for easy and private access. I loved having the sink right outside for hand washing and brushing of teeth. I especially loved the good VT coffee provided to enjoy in the morning on the front steps with the rabbits hopping near by. We loved staying here and would absolutely come again! Thank you to Sharon and her family for opening up such a special little place.

    Niki2018-07-15T00:00:00Z
  • I absolutely love this place! It's just as wonderful as the listing shows it to be. Sharon and Mark are excellent hosts and were proactive about making sure we had everything we needed for an enjoyable stay. They were so helpful in offering advice on local places to visit and even helped us start a fire in the wood stove. The yurt itself is amazing - very spacious and equipped with so many nice touches, including a selection of yummy teas, natural cleaning products, comfy bed and futon with down duvets, books, and guides to local attractions. There were also other amenities that we unfortunately didn't get a chance to use, such as an outdoor picnic table and a campfire. The land is lovely and it was a great place to relax and enjoy a restful sleep surrounded by nature.

Located on a quiet street running parallel to Winooski River just a 2 minute walk from the Main Street shopping area with lots of independent shops, bars and restaurants. A complimentary continental breakfast is included. Great X-Country ski area + short drive to downhill slopes in Stowe. Arrival times are important to me to plan my schedule. Delays happen so please update me if your plans get changed through traffic or flight changes. Bathroom is on ground floor - Bedroom is upstairs.
Vermont offers 4 Season activity for the active traveller who wants to get away from the hustle of City life. Plenty of protected parkland for beautiful walks and lots of opportunities to get out on lakes with a kayak. The Fall season is often spectacular and is a very popular time to visit the area. Vintage car & motorcycle enthusiasts can also enjoy a number of special events during the summer & early Fall with the annual 'British Invasion' antique car rally in nearby Stowe in September being one of the most popular events. There are also two major Hot Air Balloon Festivals in the summer months. All forms of winter snow activities are catered for from downhill to cross-country, snowmobiling and snow shoeing and even ice-sailing on Lake Champlain in nearby Burlington.
Montpelier is the State Capital. By population, it is the smallest state capital in the USA. The state house, with it's beautiful gold dome is home to the Vermont legislature and there is a wealth of local history to discover. I've found Vermont to be both beautiful in terms of its countryside and have been enchanted by the friendliness of its people. It's a fabulous destination to experience some 'down-time' and yet allows you to be super-active if you wish to be.

  • Steve is a proper English gentleman host. His home is clean, cozy and in a great location. Close to the town center with shops and restaurants. I was in the area to ski at Stowe and Sugar bush. This put right between the two with an easy commute.

  • Steve is an amazing host. We arrived really late (almost 1h am) on the day of our arrival because of planification issues and he was very understanding and accommodating. • Laurel and Michael are very friendly and accommodating to us. The guest home was very beautiful with A breathtaking view! It was very clean and even had extra condiments and spices stocked for us! Would definitely recommend for anyone looking to get away from it all and enjoy a cozy little place with a gorgeous view and great hosts!

    James2018-08-22T00:00:00Z
  • Laurie and Michael were absolutely phenomenal hosts! Extremely knowledgeable on the surrounding area with info on local breweries, eats, cool tourist spots, as well as tips on things to do while staying on their property. Their hospitality was beyond anything we could have hoped for, and we'll definitely be coming back in a year for our next anniversary!

    Christian2018-08-15T00:00:00Z
  • This place was amazing! Impeccably clean and nicely decorated. The hosts were very warm, welcoming and accommodating. They checked in to see if we needed anything and weren’t far away as they live in the main house upstairs. The guest suite had a separate entrance and was certainly private enough. We couldn’t hear any noise from upstairs. The location is a bit more secluded but still close to Stowe and Burlington. The view from the garden was gorgeous. Perfect if you’re looking for a relaxing getaway.

    Kristen2018-06-26T00:00:00Z
  • As veteran airbnbers, this was the best place we have ever stayed. The pictures do not do it justice. What a wonderful spot to relax in after hiking or sightseeing or swimming. You will not be disappointed. Michael and Laurie are so kind. Book it. Just leave some time left for us...

    Michele2018-08-19T00:00:00Z
  • Laurie and Michael have a beautiful, serene home in the lovely Vermont landscape of Middlesex. Getting there from Montpelier is a breeze and only about a 10-15 minute drive from downtown Main Street, but once you're there, you feel miles away from the "city life." Directions and my GPS were right on target so no issues getting there. The apartment is immaculate, cozy and stylish. It has everything described and I ended up making simple meals for myself during my stay. It had everything I needed and Laurie has really added some nice convenient touches to the place (motion-activated lights at night, basic condiments, wifi, etc.) I spent time exploring their veggie garden and hanging out in their beautifully landscaped backyard, enjoying the peaceful scene and looking out at the Vermont mountains in the distance (wow). They were so hospitable and welcoming and I couldn't have found a more relaxing, beautiful and convenient place to stay in the area!

    Katie2018-07-22T00:00:00Z
  • Laurie and Michael’s place was a lovely, tranquil Vermont getaway while giving easy access to Montpelier and many notable towns with lots to do! Their home has woodsy privacy yet is less than 10 minutes to the capitol’s downtown. The space was impeccably clean and stocked with all the essentials for a worry-free stay. I’d recommend Laurie and Michael’s place for anyone who wants to visit Vermont!

    Clare2018-07-10T00:00:00Z

The town of Bolton, with a population of around 1,200 people, is located halfway between Burlington and Montpelier, Vermont. It is in the western foothills of the Green Mountains and provides beautiful views and miles of recreational trails for hiking, mountain biking, snowshoeing, and Nordic and downhill skiing. We are home to Bolton Valley Ski Resort, West Bolton Country Club, and a quick drive down the road to the Long Trail and premier rock climbing.

    Andréanne2018-06-04T00:00:00Z
  • My boyfriend and I deeply enjoyed our three-night stay at Susan's place! The location was scenic, quiet, and gorgeous, and the tiny house is filled with homey touches, from the wood-burning fireplace to the rustic decor to the adorable and functional kitchen. Susan could not have been a better host - she was very flexible about our late check-in, providing us with extra pillows, and giving us everything we needed for a potential power outage due to bad weather (which, luckily, ended up not happening!). And the bed was very comfy! I would recommend the Four Seasons to anyone looking for a peaceful getaway while still being close to Burlington and Waterbury, among other fun destinations.

  • This Tiny House is really wonderful, the pictures don't give justice to the place. It is really quiet and nicely located. If you want to be in the woods, this is the place to go. It is near the major cities of Vermont. We had a nice weekend getaway overthere and we will definitely go again.

  • Susan's little cottage is very cute and surrounded by trees in behind her house. Susan was fast to respond to emails. The cottage is well located for quickly getting to neighbouring towns.

  • This place is perfectly tucked away in Vermont! Perfect for a couple to get away! Such amazing use of building nestled in their lovely property! I highly suggest this!

Private suite with your own entrance! This small (10x9), comfortable, quiet, & clean room is the perfect spot to land after a day on the road, the slopes, or hiking the mountains. 10 minute walk to downtown Montpelier and right off of I-89 at Exit 8. After booking, PLEASE read the House Manual for details.
This suite (one bedroom, one full bathroom) has a private entrance and is separate from the rest of the house. It is a conveniently located and light-filled house on a quiet street in a convenient neighborhood. There is often no interaction between the host and the guests. The room is small. It is just a bedroom and a bathroom with no common area.
My home is within walking distance of downtown Montpelier and is very convenient to I89 highway access. The neighborhood is quiet and safe.

Merci Amy :)

  • Nice and quiet area. Very private room, everything was clean. We recommend. Le coin est chouette et le quartier tranquille. 3 min de voiture et vous êtes au centre ville. La chambre est vraiment privée avec une salle de bain non partagée. La connexion wifi est excellente. A recommander.

  • Très propre, tout près du centre-ville, facile d'accès. Je retournerais chez Amy sans hésiter. De plus, j'ai très bien dormi.

  • This room is really cute, clean and cozy. And it's a bonus that there is a private bathroom in the room too. We didn't get to meet the host but she had left clear instructions for us prior to our arrival.

This 1000 square foot home is quiet and secluded, located 20 minutes from Burlington and 40 from Stowe. Just a few minutes drive into town which has all the local needs (Grocery, Gas, Pharmacy, Dining). There are hiking trails and plenty to explore near by, as well as further and harder hikes for the more daring. For those leaf peeping, skiing, or visiting there is a guide book of activities and local fun. If you plan to stay in for the night there is a wood stove for use (and outdoor fire pit).
Two bedrooms, outfitted with queen beds, living room with plush futon (converts comfortably into a full) and two recliners. Furnace heated with optional wood stove. 50" LCD TV with cable including Netflix and other streaming services. Fully equipped kitchen including mini-dishwasher. Kitchenette table with seating for up to four. Large 10x12 deck with fire pit on premise. High speed Internet. One bedroom features a work desk, the other a smaller TV with streaming services.
This is a secluded spot, easy to get to attractions within 15 minutes but private and remote. Local grocery and other sundries are just a few minutes drive away. Hinesburg features an 837 acre town forest for ATV, Horse, Mountain Biking and Hiking. Lake Iroquois has a public beach and boat launch. Nearby hiking includes Camel's Hump, Mount Philo State Park and Snake Mountain.
  • Nice place. Very clean and spacious.

  • Appreciated the thoughtful little touches by our hostess, Kathleen. Place was spotlessly clean, we were welcomed with seasonal cookies and some Lake Champlain chocolates! Great area to stay for some 'leaf-peeping.' Beautiful views everywhere! Quiet and peaceful....a great Vermont getaway off the beaten path, yet close enough to the action of Burlington, etc.

    Darlene2018-10-21T00:00:00Z
  • Kathleen’s place was perfect for our fall foliage weekend. It was clean, cozy, and in a quiet and beautiful area. She was excellent at communicating before our arrival and the check-in was easy.

    Laurie2018-10-08T00:00:00Z
  • Kathleen was very responsive and all went smoothly. Great to have 2 separate bedrooms with comfortable beds and nice bed linen. Large soft towels too. A low level home surrounded by trees so quite secluded. Well equipped kitchen so self catering worked well . Good value

    Margaret2018-10-10T00:00:00Z
  • This place was amazing for a surprise stay for my boyfriend’s birthday weekend. Kathleen even hung a birthday banner and set up wine glasses I ordered for our arrival! Everything was super clean, bed very comfortable, towels fluffy and fresh. Our first morning we had the pleasure of meeting Milo, we both fell in love with him. We stayed here to be close to a couple Rail Trails in Burlington and Saint Albans, both really accessible from Hinesburg. If you stay here I recommend you go to The Vermont Tap House, maybe a 15 minute drive away. The Vermonter pizza, pretzel with housemade maple mustard and craft beer selection were to die for. We definitely plan on coming back up to Kathleen’s very soon!

The Great Room is a paradise for relaxing. It has comfortable amenities, is far enough from town to know you are in the countryside, yet is only a ten minute drive away. The room is 24'x20', with a huge fireplace, indoor sauna, and large sectional sofa. The queen bed is in a loft above the main room. A 24'x11' screen porch with a hot tub overlooks the pond. Lots of windows give ample fresh air and beautiful views. You have plenty of privacy, but are close to the bathroom and kitchen.
My home is on 51 acres of property. There are walking trails in the woods right outside the door. You can paddle on the pond. You can bike the country roads. My house is unique, with the Great Room built off the main house, so you are secluded but close to the common areas.
I live on the edge of the East Montpelier Town Forest with the village of Adamant on the other side of the forest. Adamant has a quaint country co-op and a small music school which holds classical concerts in the summer. Local eggs, beef, and syrup are sold right down the street. Swimming is close by and XC ski trails are nearby. Trails right from my yard connect to the East Montpelier and Town Forest trails.

  • C'était fantastique. La chambre et l'endroit sont parfaits John également est très sympathique Merci pour l'accueil

    Guillaume2016-04-21T00:00:00Z
  • The location is beautiful. The room quite nice though the bed is under the roof and one has to stoop seriously to go to bed. Food is not provided except for coffe that one prepares ones self. So it is a B, not a B&B. This i our second stay there this Summer and the price is good and the location suitable for where we needed to be.

    Lynn2017-07-30T00:00:00Z
  • The great room is truly lovely, and so is John's property. The house is clean and orderly, with 2 cats and a dog to greet you. The house manual is comprehensive, clear, and easy-to-use. The space in the great room is secluded from the house enough to feel private, but connected well, so that everything you need is right there. It's also far enough from town to feel like you're "getting away" but close enough to be convenient. This really is a perfect spot to stay. Thank you John!

    Jessica2017-03-27T00:00:00Z
  • This was a perfect place to get away from it all without having to go too far. Beautiful landscape and peaceful setting.

  • Great place and location. John is an outstanding host. Cappachino was excellent in the mornings.

    Lisa2017-10-08T00:00:00Z
  • This was my second visit to John’s Great Room and it was just as lovely as the first. It was wonderful to see it in the fall - it’s truly an Airbnb for all seasons, each one offering different perspectives and views of this incredibly scenic place. Highly recommended!

  • John and his Son Eli, are wonderful host. Their home is lovely, and my wife loved there pets (2 cats and a dog). The house i set on a pond, and has great views. The Great room is spacious and very comfortable. The only drawback for us, and this is only due to our personal preferences, was the Sleep comfort mattress. We just couldn't seem to get it dialed in. Otherwise, our weekend was quite lovely.

Our apartment is close to great hiking, skiing and biking. Mad River Glen, Sugarbush, Waitsfield Village and Bristol Village are all within a 10-15 mile drive. Hiking on the Long Trail or Camels Hump? Trailheads are within 10 miles or walk out your door to bike the gap. Need a little relaxation, read a book by the pond or river. Looking for some activity- Burlington is 25 miles away. The apartment is perfect for a weekend getaway or longer stay.
While we call it an "apartment", it's not your typical apartment. There's something magical about the space. It could be the charming cupola, gleaming wood floors, high ceilings or the open and light feeling you get when you walk in the door. The space is in it's own building with no other living space, so you'll have complete privacy. While there is no cell phone coverage at the location, you can still stay connected through Wi-Fi or use the time as an opportunity to go unplugged (isn't that what getaways are for!)
Conveniently located near Route 17, you'll have quick and easy access for when you are traveling. There is occasional road noise during motorcycle season as it's a popular route to ride over the Appalachian Gap. If you are traveling from the Waitsfield-Warren-Fayston area on Route 17 W the road going over the mountain is a bit twisty and as with all Vermont roads, winter tires are recommended. You never know when the weather is going to change on the mountain!

    Anie-Claude2018-06-18T00:00:00Z
  • We had an amazing time at Julie's and Bill's! A truely amazing place in amazing Vermont, owned by great people, a combo you can not beat! We will be back again.

    Nick2018-01-28T00:00:00Z
  • The space is absolutely beautiful. So open and clean and tasteful. I can tell the space was recently renovated and very few guests have stayed over but I would imagine that if I came back in a year, it would look just as amazing. I can’t say enough about how beautiful the space is. I was so comfortable there. Julie & Bill were quick to reply to every message but I didn’t need anything from them during my stay. Honestly, the space is just so beautiful. We woke up to a dusting of snow in the morning. They had nothing to do with that, but it made our stay extra romantic. Loved it there. SO CHARMING!!!

    Scott2017-11-17T00:00:00Z
  • Julie and Bill’s place was situated in a peaceful and beautiful spot. It was perfectly clean and well appointed. They even left maple syrup for us to enjoy! We had a wonderful stay and would stay again anytime.

    Maggie2018-07-23T00:00:00Z
  • We had a great time staying here and highly recommend Julie and Bill's place. It definitely checks all the boxes. Check-in was extremely easy and the place is beautiful! The pictures don't do justice to how open and high the ceiling is. Amazing location surrounded by nature (mountains, stream running through the backyard), and great value. Plenty of space, comfy beds/blankets, and sufficient amenities if the outdoors are your main focus (they have wifi and Netflix, but no cable). We visited for a weekend at Sugarbush, which is a 15-20 min ride (as a heads up, it is over/around the mountains). We were good with front wheel drive with a little bit of snow on the ground, but would recommend AWD/4WD if there's going to be a big storm. The homemade maple syrup gift is a great touch! We will certainly try to stay hear the next time we are in this area, and probably bring some pancake mix in hopes that they're still feeling generous with the maple syrup!

  • I can’t recommend this place highly enough— it was absolutely spotless, in a great location (felt secluded but still easy access/a short drive to many great local spots including food, hiking, skiing, shopping etc) and strikingly beautiful! The pictures do not do it justice. One of the best airbnb experiences we have had.

After a long day on the slopes or a day touring Ben and Jerry's, our local brewery's, or enjoying our foliage/landscape, settle in with a glass of wine and a warm jacuzzi tub.In the heart of the village, walking distance from local restaurants, brewery's, and shops as well as baseball fields, mountain bike trails, tennis courts and ice rinks. 5 miles from a beach where you can rent canoes, kayaks or paddle boards or just enjoy the sun. At the end of the day cozy up on a king sized bed or wind down watching Netflix's.
Please let me know if you have a cedar allergy as we keep most of the blankets in a cedar chest. I have one set that I don't, if needed. I usually put out fresh flowers so let me know if allergies to them as well. Enjoy the remote control candles around the jetted tub. Save money with a full size kitchen or walk to local restaurants. We have a Keurig coffee maker available with local coffee. The living room and bedroom are one room so the space is really best for 1 person or a couple.
Vt is the safest state in the nation and Waterbury is a small community of about 5000 people where everyone says hello and looks out for each other and welcomes visitors.
  • Central to Waterbury and all the lovely sights and sounds that come along with it, this home is a treat to stay in. Krystyna and I came for our third anniversary and to go to an annual beer festival and were totally impressed. The jacuzzi is amazing and the space is intimate, clean and beautiful. One of our all time favorite Airbnb homes.

  • STOP looking...this is your place. Amy and Mike are the perfect host. There apartment has everything you will need. The decor is beautiful with attention to detail. The location is perfect to walk into town for a wonderful meal, a short drive to Ben and Jerrys for dessert or Green Mountain Coffee for a cup of Joe and Cabot to pick up cheese snacks to sit on the wonderful patio of there apartment and enjoy. After a long day the jetted tub melts away tried muscles, along with beautiful fresh flowers and candles. We were running late do to a flight cancellation and Amy stayed up waiting for us to arrive with two fresh baked chocolate cookies. You will love this place.

    Suzanne2017-09-27T00:00:00Z
  • Amy and Mike's place was a great place to stay in downtown Waterbury. It was very clean, had everything we needed for the couple of nights that we were here. The jacuzzi tub was wonderful! Close to great food and drinks. Easy to find gluten free food nearby. Especially liked the pizza at the Blue Stone! Would definitely stay at Amy and Mike's place again!!

    Kimberly2017-07-05T00:00:00Z
  • Amy and Mike's is the perfect location for all things Waterbury. We walked to Prohibition Pig for dinner one night (highly recommend), and to Green Mountain Coffee Roasters both mornings (you MUST try a Maple Supreme coffee with their blueberry coffee roast). The apartment was well stocked including Ben and Jerrys, Green Mountain coffee, and fresh flowers. The bed was comfortable, and everything was clean! We definitely enjoyed our stay and hope to be back!

    Elizabeth2017-08-08T00:00:00Z
  • The jacuzzi tub is most certainly a highlight! It's also very close to the center of Waterbury, so you can walk right over and find delicious meals. It's also very close to Stowe and right near the highway to get you to Montpelier. It was cozy and spacious, and I had a great time.

    Amanda2017-09-30T00:00:00Z
  • Amy and Mike's place was perfect! I took my girlfriend from England (now fiancé) to Vermont for the weekend, and we loved everything about the experience! The apartment is an easy walk into town, and a quick drive to so many great places. Amy communicated so well with us and let us know she was there if we needed anything, but also gave us privacy for our weekend away. The waffle maker/waffles were great, and we really enjoyed the jacuzzi too! We'll definitely be visiting again in the future, and I would highly recommend this space!

    Micah2017-10-29T00:00:00Z
  • This was the most amazing vacation ever. Mike and Amy gave us a great idea to go to a racetrack on our first night because we had nothing to do and we did, and their recommendation made our trip that much better. The space was very romantic and clean, and we were left alone. Mike reached out to help fix anything if something wasn't working which was very nice of him. They also have a waffle maker and all the ingredients right there for you already! Bedroom has a couch and a flat screen with netflix logged in for you as well. Overall an amazing vacation spot, about a half hour from burlington and jeffersonville for outdoor activities such as kayaking and hiking and biking. Wonderful hosts, everything you would need was there for you, including two warm smiles to welcome you. Can't wait to come back next year!

    Connor2018-08-09T00:00:00Z

We are located in the hills of central VT, close to good hiking, skiing and swimming. Our place is a working permaculture farm. Enjoy products fresh from the farm. Unwind in the traditional Finnish Sauna, relax by the living pool, or kick back in an Adirondack chair looking out at the hills of VT. No cleaning fee! This is one of three listings at our place. We can accommodate groups of eight by booking: 4 season Lower Yurt Stay on VT Small Farm and Camping in our Tipi on VT Small Farm.
We will walk you down to your yurt and give you a small tour of our farm. The yurt is located just past a newly planted plum orchard, lines of raspberries and strawberries on the upper part of our farm. The pathway is mowed and lined with LED lights to get you to and from you car at night. It is a cozy 14 ft custom made yurt. It has a four season insulation kit and full size wood stove to heat the space in the winter. If you are unfamiliar with making fires in wood stoves, we will gladly set up a little "workshop" to be sure you can make a good fire in the stove! There is a double bed with a memory foam topper. We provide complementary tea and coffee and drinking water. There is a double burner propane cook top to prepare food and a cooler to keep beverages chilled. An outhouse is located behind the yurt and there is cold running water spigot at the yurt for three seasons. WINTER ACCESS: From December to Mid April we generally have quite a bit of snow. Guest who are booking a winter adventure in our yurts will want to check on the trail conditions. Boot packing into the yurt is possible, and some times micro spikes may be helpful. It all depends on what kind of snow year we are having.
We are 12 miles north of Randolph VT, which has an Amtrak stop. The greyhound bus stops in Montpelier 1/2hr from our place. Burlington International Airport is 1 hr from our location. Our place is several miles out on a dirt road and backs up to the Roxbury state forests. It has beautiful views of the small valley of West Brookfield. The closest grocery and gas station is in Randolph or Northfield VT, around 10 miles away. Brookfield is famous for its Floating Bridge, which is 15 minutes away by car. There are two renown Restaurants within 20 minuets of our place. Ariel's in Brookfield, across the famous floating bridge, and the Black Krim Tavern in down town Randolph. Both feature farm to plate fare. The mountains of Vermont are in our backyard with swimming holes, hiking, and kayaking and skiing close by. Camels hump is 35 minutes away and has been a favorite hiking spot for our guests. We are 40 minutes from Stowe and access to Smugglers Notch and Mt Mansfield, which has gondola rides in the summer and an access road to drive to the top. Sugarbush and Mad River Glen are 45 minutes to 1 hour away. We are just north of Killington which is 50 minutes away.
  • Le logement était tou à fait fidèle à la description de notre hôte. Le cadre est tout simplement magnifique, sauvage. Notre hôte s'est montré d'un accueil exemplaire.

  • We had an amazing two night stay with the coolest farmers ever. As soon as we rolled in Friday night - Jonathan made us feel right at home. Meg and her 2 year old kitchen assistant Séamas cooked us up a fresh beautiful breakfast. If you need some green in your life, then you'll get your fill on their farm. Plenty of entertainment on the farm or they'll provide you with tons of suggestions for local fun. If you've never stayed in a yurt before, you might want to start here! Don't skip the sauna!

    Sarah2015-08-03T00:00:00Z
  • My boyfriend and I had a pleasant time at Jonathan and Meg's yurt. Staying in a yurt is certainly unique- be aware that if you don't like camping, you won't like yurt-ing. That being said, we had a great and memorable experience. They have built a lovely swimming pond, sauna, and even a cowboy hottub! We took advantage of the farm dinner offer and I am so glad we did. I highly recommend taking Jonathan up on the meal offers. It was convenient as there are not many restaurant options near their home, but it was also delicious! If you're looking to soak up some nature and really enjoy the outdoors with a little bit of a spa-treatment, this is a great option. Also, the stars were some of the best we've ever seen. (Warning- you are stationed somewhat near the chicken coop and may be woken by a rooster.)

    Christina2015-11-04T00:00:00Z
  • The yurt was great, it was a perfect place to spend a weekend in VT! We were very busy so we didn't get to spend as much time on the farm as we would have liked, but we hope to be back!

    Megan2017-06-11T00:00:00Z
  • Jonathan and his family offer an experience that is not to be missed. They are warm and welcoming hosts with a wealth of knowledge (offering countless recommendations of sights to see and adventures to take) and boundless passion (for food, the land, and life in general). We could have spent our entire stay on the farm, swimming in the living pool, relaxing in the sauna, and savoring the sights and sounds (and tastes) of its fruits, veggies, and animals. Jonathan, Meg, and Seamus welcomed us with open arms, providing great food, drink, and conversation as if we were old friends. The yurt itself was a perfect place to return to at the end of the day: it is comfortable and private and allows you to feel immersed in the land (plus, you get the built in rooster alarm clock to insure that you get the most out of your day). The location of the yurt/farm is also perfect for touring the general area. Following Jonathan and Meg's advice, we were able to experience some of what the area had to offer in terms of hikes, swimming holes, and restaurants. They did not steer us wrong. This trip is more than just a stay in a yurt (which alone would be enough to justify the drive); it is the chance to experience a place, to live close to the land, and meet some great people along the way. We are already dreaming of going back for some relaxation when school gets out next June. Enjoy!

    Connor2015-08-12T00:00:00Z
  • Jonathan and Meg's farm is a beautiful place to relax and unwind away from the craziness of every day life. Check in was a breeze after we were met by Jonathan and given a tour of the farm. The yurt is cozy and has enough room to be comfortably move around while you are there. The living pool is perfect on a hot day and we had a chance to cool off in there a couple of times. Although we didn't get a chance to try the sauna (next time) the cowboy hot tub is a must try! We were able to get a fire going and watch an amazing lightning show in the distance. The only thing better than all the amenities at the farm is getting to meet Jonathan and Meg and family! Make sure to keep an eye out for the mint on the walk back to the yurt. Highly recommend a stay here!

    Bart2018-08-16T00:00:00Z
  • This place was so wonderful that our only regret is just staying for 1 night! The yurt is perfect- very comfortable bed with a net to keep the critters out, tea and coffee in the morning (with fresh raw milk!), lounge chairs outside to enjoy the evening.. Perfect! Jonathan and family were so great and welcoming. We showed up to farm fresh burgers cooking for us on the BBQ. Combine that with great wine and conversation- it was such a relaxing getaway! Jonathan was totally cool with showing me the morning milking routine with the cows. Overall, such an awesome experience! Can't say enough nice things.

  • Beautiful mother-in-law style apartment in a beautiful setting. This rental is quiet, comfortable, and convenient to Stowe. Lori and Oliver stocked the place with everything you could need. We only stayed 2 days but it was well equipped for a longer stay. It is located well off the main road so you can enjoy peace and quiet, but local restaurants and bars are just a short drive away.

  • Don’t hesitate to stay here! If you’re looking for serenity in the Vermont countryside while still being close to Waterbury or Stowe, have a comfortable stay with Lori and Oliver! They are gracious hosts who give attention to small details and privacy. A great experience and wonderful rest

  • We loved our experience here due to the great hospitality, location and quality of our room. It is a beautiful spacious room and a great place to either come back to after a long day. Overall I felt extremely welcomed and comfortable due to the friendliness of our host. Due to their knowledge of Vermont they were able to give us information about the town and recommended some great places to visit. Would definitely return if I make another trip down to Vermont

    Manraj2018-08-12T00:00:00Z
  • Great location for checking out Stowe and downtown Waterbury! Beautiful view, privacy and Oliver was very helpful!

    Jaclyn2017-05-29T00:00:00Z
  • Great experience! The drive to the location is very rural and extremely gorgeous, especially with all the fall foliage. Oliver answered the door right away and showed us the premises. The view is fantastic, especially in the morning. The house is a good ten-minute drive to popular Waterbury restaurants such as Pro-Pig and the Reservoir. Oliver is very welcoming, accommodating, and would definitely recommend to anybody looking to stay in the area.

    Matthew2016-10-08T00:00:00Z
  • Lori and Oliver's place was a cozy spot not too far from either Stowe and Burlington (where we intended to visit), although a car is definitely needed to get around. Communication and check-in were easy. Thanks for having us!

    Oana2018-07-22T00:00:00Z
  • Oliver is a great host. Good communication. The heating doesn't work very well in the upstairs suite. The temperature remained at 62, no matter how high we set it... which made it a little too chilly for us. But beyond that everything was perfect. Love Waterbury!

    Laure2018-09-15T00:00:00Z
  • Spencer and Cliff are delightful hosts, who make you feel at home. Their house is eco-friendly and very well maintained. We had very interesting conversations about travel and cultural differences at breakfast, which was home-made and delicious! I would definitely recommend staying with them, for one night or more!

    Julia2018-05-19T00:00:00Z
  • Spencer & Cliff are what Airbnb is all about. Their home is unique, they provide excellent tips that make you feel like a local, and they are fabulous hosts. We enjoyed our conversations with Spencer & Cliff over delicious home-cooked breakfasts each morning, and spent lots of time sitting outside among the wildflowers and fireflies! The perfect Vermont experience.

    Nicole2018-07-02T00:00:00Z
  • We highly recommend a stay with Spencer and Cliff. We had a nice snowboarding weekend, a short drive to the mountains, and they gave us some really great food and bar recommendations. They made us feel welcome and at home, and the breakfast is a great touch that helps them stand out from other airbnb options. We love cats, so when we saw the picture of Molly, that was the clincher for us, and she was very sweet to spend time with as well. We would definitely stay with them again.

    Meghan2018-02-11T00:00:00Z
  • An Amazing choice if you want to experience Vermont as a guest. Cliff and Spencer make delicious breakfast with lively conversation and a warm, friendly atmosphere that can't be beat. The bed was more comfortable than mine at home and we slept easy with the quiet woods outside and a nice warm room. We stayed to go skiing as the property is a very short drive to Sugarbush and Mt Ellen but we plan on going back in the summer to see them and Vermont again in it's full green glory and to explore the trails around their property. As we didn't know the area, their tips on restaurants and things to do and see were very valuable and they didn't miss the mark once!

  • Those guys are amazing! We only stayed for one night but we had a great time and would have loved to stay longer. The house itself is also very beautiful and the view is stunning. Would stay there again anytime!

  • Oliver and Lori's is a great location for an affordable stay near Stowe, Waterbury Center, and Burlington! Oliver was exceptionally quick to respond to messages, and the keypads to the entrance and to our room allowed for easy and flexible check-in and check-out. The room was clean and bed very comfortable. The only qualm is that there was a group of Airbnb guests on the floor above us that made a considerable amount of noise. A pool table on the third floor seemed to make the prospect of noise almost inevitable if guests are there.

    Joshua2018-03-04T00:00:00Z
  • Very clean, comfortable, and in a beautiful location. Oliver was a wonderful host. Loved our stay!

    Kevin2017-07-31T00:00:00Z
  • We arrived a little bit late when Lori and Oliver were already out and about in town for the evening, but they had graciously planned for the scenario and made sure we had means to get inside. The next morning we met Oliver and were greeted with delicious chocolate from Germany. After a lovely morning conversation we were on our way, albeit lamenting that our stay was too short. The house was exactly as advertised and extremely comfortable. The indoor green house was also extremely impressive! The biggest perk by far was getting to spend some time chatting with Oliver (though we are sure it would have been great to have met Lori as well if our schedules had overlapped).

    Ben2016-07-31T00:00:00Z
  • Oliver is a fantastic host! He was very warm, accommodating and friendly, and we felt at home right away. The room is clean, comfortable and quiet, and his home is situated in a picturesque area about a 10 minute drive from the town centre, which has great restaurants and bars. The breakfasts Oliver provided were lovely, and he and his wife, as well as the other guests were wonderful to sit around the table and chat with. We will definitely stay with Oliver again next time we're in the Waterbury, and I wouldn't hesitate to recommend this listing.

  • The surroundings can't be beat! Lori and Oliver's place is peaceful and quiet, with nice amenities to provide a comfortable stay.

    Kevin2018-08-20T00:00:00Z
  • Oliver was very helpful leading up to the stay and was willing to stay up for my late arrival the first night. He ended up being able to pt me in their basement apartment space which was a nice surprise! He checked in on me the second night which was very appreciated. One thing to know is that the house is a little remote, so if you don't have a car it might be hard to get around.

Cabin is off of a quiet dirt road with hiking, snowshoeing, x country skiing, snowmobiling, right out your back door. Several ski resorts are within a 45 minute drive with Bolton being the closest (15 min) and Stowe being the most popular (45 min). West Bolton Golf Club is 5 min away. Waterbury Resevoir for boating of all kinds is 15 min away and multiple swimming holes are also near by. Richmond and Waterbury provide quick and delicious dining options. Burlington is a hop, skip, and a jump away for all that a bustling and vibrant small city can offer. And then there is Stowe, a world renowned, all season, mountain destination!! I commute daily to Stowe, it is an easy drive.

  • Jason and Melissa were fabulous hosts. They made us feel very much at home in their gorgeous house. We had a fun and lively conversation one evening around a campfire in the backyard. This is a unique and very cool house in a great location. Jason directed us to a great hike right from their backyard. We recommend this place highly.

    Theresa2016-05-26T00:00:00Z
  • Jason was a wonderful host. His home was so comfortable and unique! He left notes helping us find our way upon a late arrival. The fire was ready to light every time we came home and he just went above and beyond to make our trip special. Everything felt neat and clean. We were there in frigid negative degrees and the house was kept warm and comfortable. It's a great location for a brief drive to ski at Stowe or stop in at Jason's bar to say hi. It's also just as close to Burlington which has tons of fun shopping and brewery tours and restaurants. We were very pleased with our visit and would definitely book Jason & Melissa's place again!

Achieve peace, quiet, and solitude here at our little slice of heaven in Vermont's central hills. This cozy all-wood cabin is situated with beautiful views of rolling meadows and a small brook to the rear. Explore our private 26 acres on rustic logging paths nestled in almost 700 neighboring vacant acres. We are close to, Montpelier, Brookfield, Northfield, Norwich University, and Randolph. Come for foliage, skiing, or relaxing. To skiing at Sugarbush it's ~45 min, Killington, & Stowe 1 hr.
The Cottage at Little Bird Farm on our centrally located flower farm makes for the perfect get away, stopping point, or launching point to explore Vermont. Modern amenities, comfort, coziness, and an idyllic country setting can all be expected. All four seasons here have their perks, from fresh maple syrup to an amazing spread of flowers to stunning fall foliage to all the winter activities. The cottage is a stand-alone house with it's own deck, garage, and yard in proximity to one other vacation rental home and our house on the property. While being a studio, there is still a spacious queen size bedroom area, closet, and a sizeable kitchen to cook in. Fully heated and cozy during winter with all amenities provided (quality linens, pots/pans, wifi, hygiene basics). The private deck off the back is wonderful for sipping coffee in the morning and listening to birds and the babbling brook. This area is also known for stargazing, nationally, as a neighboring landowner has protected nearly 700 acres of land from light pollution for optimal star gazing. Truly disconnect here, as there is typically spotty to no cell phone service for most carriers. We do have a land line that you may use (see house rules). Wireless Internet is available at decent speeds for surfing and emails. We do not TV or Cable, but do have a small TV/DVD player we can set up before arrival if you'd like! DIY locally sourced (whenever possible) breakfast items provided. Farm fresh eggs, bread & jam, dairy products (milk, half&half, yogurt), bagels and cream cheese, coffee, and of course VT maple syrup. Feel free to let us know if you have dietary concerns so we can provide appropriate breakfast items. Whole house/garage We are typically here at the property, as we live in a home up a private drive from the cottage. Level of interaction is flexible. We love to meet new people and visit, but we are often busy with farm chores, so total privacy is easily achieved! Fairly remote rural setting in a picturesque farming valley. Low-key winter activities are great in our little valley. There are cross country ski opportunities, plenty of snowshoeing, sledding, and lovely winter walks. Downhill resort skiing is all around us- Sugarbush, Stowe, and Killington are all ~1 hr drive, Sugarbush perhaps a little less. Surprisingly good selection of excellent restaurants just south in the quaint town of Randolph. For other popular spots, It is 25 minutes to Montpelier (bustling little capital city of Vermont with lots to do and is walkable), 35 minutes to Waterbury, 20 minutes to Randolph, 20 minutes to Brookfield, 15 minutes to Exit 5 off Highway 89, and 45 minutes to Burlington Airport. Definitely need a car, as public transportation in our area is not really existent. 4WD or winter tires definitely recommended during winter months, other times of the year any vehicle/tires are just fine on our dirt road. Did you see the note about no cell service and no TV? Just making sure :)
We moved to Vermont from Alaska to pursue a dream. Our little valley has fulfilled this dream and exceeded our expectations. Nestled in a hanging valley, in the high eastern Piedmont of the Central Green Mountains we have found that the fertile land let's us farm, our a supportive community, and the beautiful setting feeds our souls.
  • It was our second trip to Erin and Brock"s cabin! Outstanding hosts, great communication, delightful time and great couple! We come here and feel as if we come our family members....everything is perfect! See you guys soon again...

  • This is a lovely, cozy cottage. We stayed 3 nights and found ourselves ending each day next to the fire listening to the record player. We skied one day at Sugarbush; we spent the other day in Stowe/Waterbury. If you are looking for a quiet getaway but also accessible to several VT towns, this is a great spot. The DIY breakfast food really is helpful and a nice touch!

    Jonathan2018-03-28T00:00:00Z
  • Erin and Brock's place is on a beautiful farm in a lovely VT valley. They provide an incredible spread for breakfasts above and beyond any place we have been before! There is a gorgeous pond to swim in on their property. A highlight for us was their incredibly sweet dogs!

    Liz2018-07-27T00:00:00Z
  • This was like something out of a fairytale. When we first arrived we were exhausted from traveling and the cozy and comfortable space was the perfect place to recharge. At night we spent some time on the porch stargazing, and we were treated to a shooting star before bed. Breakfast was delicious, the local goods provided by Erin & Brock were perfect. I drank my morning tea on the porch listening to the water and watching hummingbirds fly by. I only wish we'd stayed longer, in order to explore the property more. Being there just felt good.

    Mandi2017-05-25T00:00:00Z
  • Our stay at Erin and Brock's farm was exactly as expected.Erin and Brock's cottage was beautiful, clean, and very peaceful and we would definitely stay again. Erin was also very easy to communicate with. We would definitely recommend a stay at the Little Bird Farm to anyone.

  • Beautiful cabin in a picturesque setting! Cabin was very clean and comfortable. Erin and Brock were so nice and easy to communicate with. Would definitely recommend and stay again!

    Emily2017-09-03T00:00:00Z
  • The Cottage at Little Bird Farm was exactly the Holiday getaway we were looking for! We wanted to get outside and enjoy the snow covered hills of Vermont but also be close enough to visit breweries in nearby towns. This location was perfect! We went snowshoeing along the creek up the mountain and on Christmas morning went sledding. Erin, Brock and the pups joined us and we all rode their toboggan together :) It was a lot of fun and it was great getting to know our hosts! We also got a Christmas visit from some wild turkeys and even saw some of them fly. It was amazing. The cottage was so cozy and decorated very nicely. The bed and pillows were very comfortable, the towels so soft and the fridge had many wonderful local things to eat! Erin even left us some homemade Alaskan smoked salmon spread which was delicious! We didn't want to leave! This was our first Airbnb and it was better than we could have hoped for. Erin and Brock set the bar high. We would love to go back in the Summer and see the Farm in bloom!

    Spenser2016-12-25T00:00:00Z
  • Brock and Erin made a sweet little airbnb stay! I booked the place for my folks, and they loved it! Very cute, very functional, awesome set up. The accommodations were immaculately clean!! And their farm is going to amazing! Highly recommend this place!
