Parc
“Dog-friendly state park a relatively close drive to the Airbnb. It has multiple areas to explore that put you and your dog right on the the banks of the river and smaller waterways. Great area to see the occasional manatee, as the smaller waterways are calm for our lazy & gentle giants!”

“Cool & classic beach shack right on the beach, valet parking only (small lot) or park on one of the side streets. Cold beer & the fish tacos are fantastic, burgers are good too, but the view is beautiful. Ask for Chuck and ask to sit "on the deck"!”

“Take a drive to the Golden Lion and see how Florida's coast would look if it were untouched by humans. Its about 15 miles up A1A north, and the last 5 miles are an untouched nature preserve along the beach and sand dunes! The restaurant is indoor/outdoor seating with great food and a killer view!”

“This is one of the unique places that make the Hammock such a great place. If you love BBQ, don't miss! You will really get an experience eating here! First of all, it's just down the road about a mile south at Bing's Landing, the waterfront park on the Matanzas River, so they have waterfront dining spots available in their screened in porch and gazebo. It's real casual. It's won all kinds of awards. These folks not only make the best BBQ but also have won awards for their many cheesecake flavors. Here's a bit of what they have to say: "Captains BBQ offers some of the best TRUE SOUTHERN BBQ, we only use the best quality meats and ingredients. Our meats and side dishes are slow cooked in our special wood burning smoker. Although smoking is a very slow, time consuming process it is worth every second. The result is moist, juicy meats, infused with a delicious smoked wood flavor." ”

“Just a short drive south on A1A, Jt's has been a regular in our area for years. It has changed ownership a few times and this rotation has been the best! Locals and tourists alike love it for its good 'ole fish camp style food. The parking lot is always full, especially on live music nights. ”
