Point of Interest
“As with all the locations blessed with a spectacular view, the nearest hill or mount has always become a firm favourite for romantic locals from which to survey their domain. Not surprisingly, Oliver’s Hill has also attracted its fair share of artists including George O’Brien whose sun-drenched record dates from 1862. Fredrick McCubbin takes a more intimate position with his 1910 painting by locating the viewer within the bushland on the hill, looking out through a break in the trees to reveal the curve of the bay gleaming in the distance.”

Cafe
“Tucked away at the Norman Ave shops, this is a little homemade oasis. Marie and her staff are welcoming and make you feel like you have come to her house for lunch. Great foccacia, coffee and cakes. Cosy atmosphere with plenty of parking. Love local businesses and this one seems here to stay.”

Bus Station
“We are lucky to have access to this trail right from our backyard. Follow the path to the gate then take the stairs down to the board walk. Turn left for the beach and right for a bushwalk. ”

Point of Interest
“Enjoy the seaside ambience along the Frankston foreshore boardwalk, Landmark Bridge and pier. Grab a bite to eat from a beachfront restaurant or enjoy a picnic on the foreshore's continuous stretch of sand. See the foreshore transformed every Boxing Day, when teams of international artists arrive to carve 3,500 tonnes of sand to amazingly life-like creations. The giant sculptures stick around until April, and are supplemented by a host of sandy activities for the whole family. ”
