Zoo
“we took our grandchildren to the Hamilton Zoo and for Gus who loves to follow a map and find a reward, he wasnt disappointed at the rather exotic animals he found!!! He loved the walkways under the trees and seeing the tall giraffes heads over the wire enclosures was fascinating. The zookeeper was feeding the animals and Gus got to talk to him, and learnt about the personalities of the animals at the zoo. We brought a picnic and just sat under the trees then had an icecream at the onsite cafe- the hungry Morepork. This was a great day out for our family.”

“Absolutely love this place and highly recommend it as a " local foodie find ". Discover it on Victoria street, 20 minutes drive from the housewithnonails in Cambridge. its all about an old church, good beer, good food and great people story!!!! Amazing " George brews" and low slow BBQ eating, where they cook locally sourced meats up to 15 hours using traditional woods. They use a southern pride wood smoker from Tennessee USA which allows large amounts to be cooked at a constant heat . This is about exploring the world of crafted beer and cider. Do it in the beer garden, private mezzanine floor and dining hall . Fermentation tanks are at Frankton Brewery Hamilton and beer is transported to the church in a modified firetruck and delivered to the tanks in good Union. The brewery comes to you- how cool is that!!!! Check out Mondays for a $6 dessert, Quiz night Tuesdays, backyard burgers for $15 wednesday, thirty thursdays for smoked meats and two sides with a pot of good stuff, Friday its $25 Good Union Plateers, kids eat free on Sundays. ”
