Hôtel
“Great venue for live music with shuttle bus from Lungern (CHF 10 /person - must be booked in advance through Taxi Toni in Lungern). Nice Terrace out the back for a drink after skiing or a Summer's day/evening. Great food and try the Hay Schnapps (Heuschnapps)”

Restaurant
“The only reason this is included as an expensive option is because you have to take the gondola to the top of the ski area. During the week there is a self-service cafeteria, but on Sunday mornings they have a breakfast buffet that is very good. An excellent place for mountain views or to combine with a day of hiking. Buffet cost is CHF 60.- including round trip gondola pass. Reservations recommended. ”

“The Post is a nice small family-run restaurant with traditional Swiss fare. It's possible to walk there (and we do), but there isn't a sidewalk the whole way.”
