“This is a great spot for a Spring or early Summer picnic and boasts impressive views of the surrounding neighbourhoods. On a clear day, you might well catch a glimpse of Mount Fuji in the distance. This park is also a popular spot for residents of Daikanyama and Nakameguro to walk the already mentioned extremely over pampered dogs. additionally, it’s a great spot to catch the sunset, so depending on timing you could loop back here at the end of your walk.”

Soba Restaurant
“With its downstairs entrance, this soba restaurant is a real hidden treasure. Once you’ve descended the stairs, you’ll find yourself in an unexpectedly spacious restaurant, with seats overlooking the garden. A lot of affection has gone into this restaurant, right down to the bowls, which are handmade by the owner. If you’re visiting during the summer, you have to order the seasonal cold sudachi soba—a dish of buckwheat noodles covered in slices of Japanese citrus fruit, which is refreshing just to look at, let alone eat!”

“RAMEN! They serve the usual tonkotsu-gyokai double soup for lunch, but at night serve a creamy chicken and seafood blend that is heavenly. Warito also employs a number of tricks to keep your tsukemen at a steady heat throughout the meal. This shop is a descendent of the legendary TETSU, which is probably one of the three or four most famous tsukemen shops in Tokyo. The shop is clean and sleek with lots of dark brown woods contrasting with the gleaming silver kitchen, but none of this is self-consciously overdone. Merely, every part of the ramen experience has been carefully considered. This is a very pleasing shop. Tokyo, Meguro-ku, Aobadai 3-7-10 Open from 11am-330pm and 6-10pm-closed Wed”

“Meguro Sky Garden is an outdoor rooftop garden, spiraling over a custom built facility that covers the junction of several major expressways. The garden is a testament to Japanese ingenuity and architecture, not to mention a great use of the space. Japan, 〒153-0044 Tōkyō-to, Meguro-ku, 目黒区Ōhashi, 1 Chome−9−2”

“Cacao shop. Here you will know what chocolate is. They do not blend Cacao beans, only one area cacao beans. That is why you will know the relationship between cacao bean and the land. カカオ豆にこだわったチョコレート・ブティック。ブレンドしない産地にこだわったカカオ豆から作るチョコレートだから、カカオ豆の味がよくわかります。必見。”
