Reservoir
“The Ladybower Reservoir is a must see for walkers and cyclists - huge walks and cycles to be had - see if you can make it the whole way round! Very occasionally when there has been a drought, you can see the top of the spire of the old church in the village that sits under the water! The village was flooded years ago to make way for the reservoir - there are also quite often fly bys by Spitfire planes and WW2 bombers as this was a training location for the damnbusters - but check this online before going there! Reachable by car or train to Bamford and then medium walk on from there! ”

“At a knee-knocking 1,200ft, Tree Top Adventure at Buxton is one of the highest Go Ape courses in the UK. Steadily ascending through the canopy, you'll climb, clamber and conquer this goliath of a high ropes course in 2-3 hours. Built high in the hilltops of the UK's largest National Park, our Peak District location is BIG on adventure. Get your heart-pumping with one of our biggest Tarzan swing drops. You'll leap off the platform into stomach-turning freefall before being swung into our giant cargo net (psst, we have alternative obstacles for budding adventurers)”
