Brasserie
“One of Hood Rivers great breweries. At Double Mountain you will find a menu heavy with IPA's, and not a single bad one! Also try their wood fired pizza and salads. ”

“Hood Rivers' best brewery! Located on the water front this place has amazing food and beer. Try the poutine if it's on the menu and pair it with any of their beers, all very good!”

“We love to grab pizza & find a picnic table in the family park (across from restaurant & close to the riverside). Very popular restaurant in a new, trendy, riverside development!”

Restaurant
“Probably the fanciest dining in Hood River but not un-approachable. Best bet is to go here for Happy Hour where you will find a good selection of regular menu items at 50% off with the purchase of a beverage. 1/2lb Burger and Fries for $7.50? Yes please!”

Boulangerie
“Pine street serves Nossa coffee (Portland roasted) and is the best spot for a fast, or grab and go breakfast. I am particularly fond of their cinnamon roll, unfrosted yet all the rolls are gooey-cinnamon perfection. ”

Bar
“Hood Rivers original, the one that got it all started! Great beer, great food and great views. The menu and beer might not be as fancy and creative as the other breweries but it won't disappoint. ”

“My wife and I met here - says it all. Great food, great people. Our kids go to school with Brian's kids. Local food, local ingredients, full bar, local draft beers and wine. Get the calamari! Plus there's the Underground Bar open late. $$-$$$”

Grocery or Supermarket
“A&J is the only local grocery store, and I must warn you, they jack the prices up for tourists. I don't know how any of the permanent residents afford to shop there! Its good if you just need a couple things, or if you're rich, ha ha, but if you have a list, I would go to Safeway in Hood River. The other options are equal distance the opposite direction, perfecter when you're looking to stop on your way to or from Portland, or if you're leaving Multonomah Falls for that matter. From Troutdale to Portland(Troutdale, Gresham, Portland; they're all Portland, historically)there's plenty of grocery options, WinCo and Trader Joe's being the best, in my personal opinion.”
