“Why not enjoy a day-trip on the little ferry (from Largs) to the Isle of Cumbrea. There's a lovely cafe in called the "The Round Cafe' in Millport that's definitely worth a visit. You can take the car on the wee ferry, or bikes! Driving around the island, you'll find places to stop enjoy the view and places to have a picnic on little beaches here and there. ”

Point of Interest
“It’s been around for millions of years, but just over 100 years ago a local by the name of Mr Brown was passing by after a lunchtime drink or two, or maybe three, and saw the bare rock as a crocodile (or so the story goes) and decided to set to work with a brush and paint. Over the years it has become a famous landmark that has attracted many generations of children to have their photograph taken with the Millport Crocodile.statement from: www.millport.org ”
