“Besseggen is one of the most popular hiking destinations in Norway, and not without reason. You take the boat from Gjendesheim to Memurubu and follow the path up the hill. For about the whole hike, you walk almost on the edge with several hundred meters right down to the fjord 'Gjende'. It's a safe walk, but gives a little kick because of the height! The great thing about Besseggen is that it's suitable for almost anyone, in any age and shape. It takes around 8 hours in normal speed, but you can put in several breaks along the way, and relax while you enjoy the amazing scenery of the emerald green fjord and majestic mountains.”

“ Galdhøpiggen is Northern Europe’s highest mountain, reaching 2469 meters above sea level. The mountain is a national symbol of the country situated in the heart of Norway - in the middle of the alpine and breath taking nature in Jotunheimen National Park. Hiking to Galdhøpiggen is one of the country's most popular mountain hikes, and can be done both in the summer and in the winter with skis.”

Cafe
“About 15 minutes drive, you arrive 'Brimiland', my favourite place in the area. Here you find a small rustic mountain farm which is also a café, with self-produced food. You can also buy their own products, like cheese. It is located near a beautiful lake and i suggest taking a day-trip to this place because of its hiking oportunities around the farm and the lake.”

“This restaurant is located in perfect scenery; surrounded by mountains and sheltered from traffic and disturbances. The food is absolutely amazing, and the interior of the restaurant is so delicate and warm. Although the food is of top quality, it will not empty your wallets. Highly recommended!”
