Réservées à l'instant à Ludlow

Easter Bush cottage is four miles from Ludlow, in rural shropshire. Known for its great restaurants and food shops, ludlow is surrounded by amazing walking country, and there are numerous small towns and historic properties to visit. One double bedroom, one single, space for a travel cot, light and airy with good quality bedding and linen.
Two bedroom cottage, with lovely shower room, upstairs kitchen/sitting room with wood burner. Situated four miles outside Ludlow in stunning countryside with access to great walking cycling and horse riding. We have just added a gas barbecue to the cottage.
Lovely countryside, peace and tranquility. We are situated down a country lane, which can be quite bumpy when we have had bad weather. Drive slowly!
  • We really enjoyed our stay here. It is in a lovely rural location next to some friendly sheep! The space is lovely and light with great cosy touches like the wood burner. A great place to be for walking. We would definitely recommend staying here.

  • Blissful. Secluded little getaway with everything you could possibly need. Had the most wonderful weekend stay and would definitely visit again

  • A charming cottage in a beautiful country setting with wonderful views! The location is perfect for exploring the Ludlow area. We felt very welcome in Sally and Roger's cottage especially with the delicious cake and fresh flowers on the table when we arrived. The cottage is very well equipped with everything you need for a relaxing break. Unfortunately we didn't get to meet Sally as she was away but communication with her beforehand was great. We met Roger who was very welcoming and helpful, thank you! We would fully recommend staying in Easter Bush cottage. We would love to stay again and take advantage of the wood burner on a cold crisp evening! Thank you both very much!

  • Very spacious, comfortable and peaceful cottage in idllyic rural setting with view over rolling pastures. Be sure to purchase supplies before arrival as it is several miles from shops. Ludlow and the Shropshire Hills are short drives away.

    Allison2017-08-18T00:00:00Z
  • Lovely cottage in a peaceful location. Ludlow was within easy reach and provided an array of places to eat and shop windows to browse. We had a relaxing stay - the delicious biscuits and scones were particularly welcome! It was exactly what we wanted and more.

    Maisy2015-09-01T00:00:00Z
  • We had a lovely stay at Sally's cottage. Although only a 10 minute drive from Ludlow, the cottage is set in very tranquil countryside, with a public footpath on the doorstep. The two bedrooms are downstairs and the large sitting room and kitchen area are upstairs - which seemed a little strange at first but actually worked really well. The sitting room, in particular, was beautifully decorated and very cosy, while the skylights provide wonderful views over the Shropshire countryside. While we didn't meet Sally, we were greeted with some lovely carrot cake and had a really enjoyable, peaceful stay. One tip: the cottage is located down a bumpy country road and off the sat-nav radar, so make sure you take note of Sally's instructions.

    Sophia2016-07-28T00:00:00Z
  • The cottage was marvellous, absolutely everything we wanted and in a stunning setting. Sally had left us homemade flapjack that was just what we needed when we arrived. We have a wonderful time, the cottage was within easy drive of Ludlow and we went on several walks in circles from the cottage. I would thoroughly recommend this cottage, cosy and lovely!

    Elizabeth2015-12-01T00:00:00Z
  • This was our second visit to Sally's beautiful little cottage. On our arrival we found Sally had baked us a fabulous banana cake. If the cottage wasn't a already gorgeous and homely enough Sally always makes you feel so welcome that you can't help but feel 'at home'.

Beautiful cottage available to rent in Ludlow. The house is down a quaint pathway with an imposing Church at the end of the road. The cottage itself has a lovely patio to the front which is drenched in sun throughout the day. Inside you will find a bright yet cosy lounge with a fantastic log burner & TV to relax with on the evenings with a wine or two! There is also a well equipped kitchen diner. Upstairs there is a large main room & a small 2nd bedroom with bunk beds & a shower room.
The house is located in Ludlow which is a market town in Shropshire. A short walk away and you will find yourself in the center with the busy market every Monday, Wednesday, Friday and Saturday and a multitude of shops, pubs and restaurants. There is also the River Teme where you can enjoy free fishing - perfect on a summers day! The town was described by Sir John Betjeman as "probably the loveliest town in England". We are confident you will love Ludlow as much as we do but should you need any recommendations or ideas of what to do just ask. :)
There is a lovely cafe just around the corner for breakfast and also a Chinese takeaway should you wish to have a night in
  • Agréable maison, très chaleureuse !

  • Fabulous cottage in beautiful ludlow. Arranged the reservation for 1 night at short notice for a weekend away...perfect from beginning to end. Very easy communication and check in. The cottage is finished to a high standard, cosy lounge with wood burning stove, lovely split horse front door to let the sun in but with privacy. All the equipment needed in the kitchen for our stay with additional provisions left by Nick amd Grace. Upstairs there are 2 bedrooms, 1 double and 1 with bunk beds. Nice big double bedroom, a mega comfy bed with lovely fresh clean bed linen and towels. Bathroom offered everything we needed. The weekend was topped off with beautiful sunshine so we took the opportunity to sit out in the front garden and bask in the sun, as we had visited ludlow during the day we decided to relax in the cottage that evenjng and with a recommendation from the neighbours we went to the local chinese. Nick and Grace were great hosts and left plenty of recommendations to ensure you see as much of ludlow as possible. I will definitely return. Thankyou both

    Foodie capital of the Midlands.
  • This apartment had everything we needed and was in a brilliant location, right in the middle of the town, excellent to be able to access all the foodie shops and cafes. We would definitely stay here again.

  • We had a fabulous stay. The apartment is in a fabulous location and is very clean and tidy. Jill is a wonderful hostess and provided excellent communication

    Laura2016-10-28T00:00:00Z
  • The apartment is so centrally located that if you are staying in the town , there is no need for a car, Jill organised arrival and access which was very easy. The small apartment is well described on the site and is equipped with everything two visitors could need. Ludlow is noted for its restaurants and eating out was never going to be a problem - but how interesting to have breakfast watching the stallholders setting up in the daily market (except Tuesdays). We would thoroughly recommend staying there and hope to return soon.

    BERNARD2017-06-22T00:00:00Z
  • Jill's place is great for central Ludlow. If you like people watching... which we did, it's nice to see people in the market place going about their business. Step outside and everything you need is close by. At night it's peaceful and quiet with a castle as a neighbour! We are Vegans and often cook as eating out is difficult. Kitchen was amply supplied, the flat is nice and cosy and we'll appointed.

    Andrew2017-06-11T00:00:00Z
  • This was a lovely little apartment overlooking the market and castle. The place was very clean, the bed comfortable and our host kept in good contact with us in the run-up to our stay. Jill was really understanding when we asked to check-in earlier than the advertised time and I'd absolutely recommend this place to everyone.

Our Apartment has a private entrance from your own off road parking space in the historic town of Ludlow. Most of the space is open plan with full height ceiling in the bedroom area. Small outside area with table and chairs. Breakfast of fresh bread, juice, cereals and extras will be left in your kitchen.
We are perfectly positioned in the Linney, its a 3 minute walk to the town centre but the area is quiet and still feels like countryside to us.
Quiet conservation area, just outside the old town walls. Minutes walk from the church and the castle. Various pubs and restaurants within a short stroll.
  • We had a wonderful stay in Joe and Jay's annexe. The place is tastefully decorated and is only a few minutes away from the town centre. We enjoyed the little touches such as the breakfast items and the outside private garden area. Would definitely stay here again when visiting Ludlow!

A charming 17th century Grade 2 town house in the heart of Ludlow's old town a few minutes from the wonderful 11th century castle and wealth of shops, market, pubs and restaurants. Situated on three floors the property is full of character with exposed beams, wooden floors, an inglenook fireplace and wood burner. • The 26 Mill Street AirBnB is spacious and attractive, with a well-stocked kitchen, two bedrooms and two bathrooms, so was comfortable for our party of three friends. It is located near the centre of Ludlow in easy access of groceries for guests who choose self-catering, so again suited our needs perfectly. Consisting of three floors, the flat is best for those who are mobile and physically fit.

  • A beautiful, spacious and comfortable house to call home when in Ludlow. Prime location, near the castle and the river, it gives you the chance of experiencing Ludlow like a local. Communication was great right from the beginning and all check-in and check-out instructions were properly indicated. We were very lucky to be treated to lots of snacks after a long trip, so definitely the feeling was like returning home. A super host I have had the pleasure to meet makes her and the house elegible to become a Superhost: keep it up!

  • The cottage was perfect for us and so good to be so close to the centre of town. Anna had thought of everything and we really appreciated that. The bathroom was spotless with a great shower and we enjoyed having a proper kitchen to use as we were too tired to go out. So nice to have the stove laid and logs ready too - all those touches made it really cosy. We will definitely come back.

  • Anna is an excellent host. The cottage is perfectly located to explore everything that Ludlow has to offer. The property is comfortable and well equipped. Her communication with us was spot on for the duration of our visit and we are looking forward to coming back!

  • Fantastic all round. Anna thinks of every detail and makes sure your stay is extra special. A must stay!

    James2017-09-03T00:00:00Z
  • Anna's cottage is so lovely - wonderfully located in the heart of historic Ludlow, just a stone's throw from the castle - it's an exceptionally comfortable place to lay one's head. We really appreciated the welcome pack (with wine and fresh bread) and the whole cottage had a warm and welcoming atmosphere. We all slept very well, including my 20 month old son. Despite the fact the cottage does open directly onto a road, we found it very easy to navigate with our little one! Parking was also easier for us, as we stayed Saturday night into Sunday when the nearby restrictions are more flexible.

    Kat2017-08-20T00:00:00Z
  • This is the perfect house to spend a holiday, absolutely perfect location for exploring such a beautiful town. Anna is so thoughtful and provided the cleanest, cosiest place for us with a bottle of wine on arrival, who could wish for anything more. Thank you, we will be back X

  • We had a wonderful stay in Ludlow Our host Cherry made us very welcome and looked after us really well. She was kind and generous and added the little extras that made our stay so enjoyable. The breakfast was amazing! There was a nice room, chairs to relax in, and a comfortable bed. There was easy access walking up the hill to the town and castle and also a beautiful riverside walk close to the house. Ludlow itself was very interesting with lots of old houses, the castle, a market and plenty of places to eat. We also enjoyed the surrounding countryside especially the Stiperstones and Long Mynd. Thank you Cherry for a wonderful few days break.

The room was warm and comfortable with every need anticipated and a very welcome piece of cake after a day working outside in the wet. I would wholeheartedly recommend staying here to anyone.

I cannot tell a lie, if you're visiting Ludlow it's the perfect place to stay, the location is perfect (just a 10 minute walk - uphill - to the centre), there's parking (a big plus), it's a lovely bungalow and a great host. The room was very comfortable and Cherry is extremely helpful. We loved it!

This leads into a bright and airy brand new kitchen. Upstairs the large master bedroom has one double bed. Bedroom two accommodates a single bed. The bathroom has a bath and shower.

  • 99 Old Street is cozy, comfortable, and perfectly located for all the shops and pubs of Ludlow as well as the castle and river walk. Sarah had recommended the Blue Boar (incredible staff and great food) and Charleton Arms (amazing roof deck on the river with views of Ludlow) pubs and they quickly became favorites of ours. My family and I are in the food industry so took full advantage of the market, butchers and other shops and did lots of cooking, and the kitchen was well laid out and stocked for that. Sarah even said that we were welcome to pick the apples and pears that were in season and hanging from the trees in the garden and we took the opportunity to make apple sauce and enjoy them as snacks. Highly recommend spending some time at 99 Old Street and soaking up everything Ludlow has to offer.

The house is right in the centre of the medieval town of Ludlow, often described as England's most beautiful town for its wonderful medieval and Georgian architecture. It is a mere walk from the famous castle, great shopping and restaurants, and of course the wonderful Shropshire countryside where there are plenty of great walks and activities.
The house is a bit of a tardis. It looks modest from the outside, but inside is a very large open plan kitchen/dining/living room and up stairs three light and airy bedrooms (two double, one single) and a good sized bathroom. Downstairs there is also a little shower room. Pretty much all mod cons and washer dryer in the cellar. Small outside patio with small table
  • This house really does seem bigger on the inside than on the outside. Three of us stayed here for two days and were perfectly comfortable. The house is old with a great deal of character and eclectic furnishing style, both of which we enjoyed. Everything was in working order and we had no issues. Check in and check out were simple. We also enjoyed staying in the market town of Ludlow, which was lovely to walk around, exploring the castle and the church, as well as a couple of excellent restaurants.

  • An absolute gem of a house! We loved our stay in Ludlow and Franny's place was very comfortable and perfectly situated in the town. The house is large and full of character and lovely furnishings.

  • We stayed with my 76 year-old mum. A lovely home with its own unique feel. The photographs don't do it nearly enough justice! Warm and comfortable, check-in easy as pi. Franny couldn't have been more communicative. We'd definitely stay here again.

  • Charming cottage in an excellent location. All the rooms were a good size, including the single.

  • Spacious house with all expected amenities in a very central Ludlow location. It suited us really well for a mid-week cycling trip.

  • Lovely historic house in the centre of Ludlow just a few minutes walk from the delights of the town. The home has everything you need, including new bathroom and shower room but retains the ambience of times gone by. Franny was a great host and provided all the help and information needed to ensure that we had a wonderful stay.

  • Believe everything on the website. It's a super house in great location.

    Patricia2017-05-30T00:00:00Z
  • I hired Franny's place for five of my closest friends to stay over for a long weekend in Ludlow. They were delighted with the house and enjoyed their weekend immensely. The house is comfortably furnished downstairs; has a small but well equipped open-plan kitchen and comfortable beds. Franny was extremely helpful and responsive prior to the visit and the house was nicely prepared. Franny provided parking permits and useful information for sight-seeing and walks. A great place to stay when visiting Ludlow and its environs.

Quirky old house in the middle of Ludlow. Within easy walking distance of everything. Plenty of space but the kitchen is small.
Old townhouse in the middle of this ancient market town - the house is set within the old walls, moments from the centre. Comprises Dining/Living room, Kitchen, Sittingroom, 3 Double Bedrooms, Bathroom, WC, Shower room, Laundryroom, separate Garden. This is a typically quirky Ludlow house, set on three floors. The bedrooms are spacious and extras can be accommodated easily. It is furnished with antiques. The kitchen is, unfortunately, small but we have tried to make it as efficient as possible. The spacious living areas help to make up for it. Ludlow is renowned for food, both restaurants and markets/festivals, it's castle, literary/arts festivals and antiques. Good base to explore the Welsh Marches, Shropshire and Herefordshire. One Residents Parking Permit included in rental, otherwise plenty of public car parks nearby. The price includes all services and linen (not cleaning or telephone) and limited wi-fi. All amenities are easy walking distance and the station is about 10 minutes walk.
  • Warm, cozy house. Well equipped kitchen. Ludlow is a great location. Arrival and departure very straight forward. Although one needs parking permits, these are provided and very simple to use.

  • Our second visit in a year! Love this house. We were two families over Christmas and it was the perfect place for a gathering. Ludlow very pretty and festive with lights. The house a cosy retreat. Can't quite describe the feeling of no 67, except to say it's very relaxing and has a certain well-worn charm, ease and generosity.

Beautiful town house right in the centre of Ludlow. We are opposite the Castle and a just few steps from the lively town square. A perfect traditional B&B for exploring, whether historic Ludlow or the surrounding Shropshire countryside. We also let The Dovecote, a newly converted holiday let in our garden. Perfect if you want to be independent and self-contained. Check out the listing to see some photos.
Large double with very comfy super-king bed, beams, books and your own en-suite bathroom. (There is also a twin room shown in the photos that would share your bathroom but we only let to same party. Let us know at time of booking if you want both rooms. The price quoted is per room). Due to ancientness of house the stairs are not suitable for elderly people or very young - sorry! Breakfast is in the family kitchen - cooked or continental. There is a sitting room which you're welcome to use but we guess you'll be out and about visiting the shops, cafes, and restaurants in lovely Ludlow. And if the weather's fine you can relax in the south-facing garden.
Ludlow is fabulous - friendly people, quirky shops, even films on at the Assembly rooms in the next street. Our reputation for food shops, cafes and restaurants is rightly famous. The countryside is beautiful too!
  • We thoroughly enjoyed our stay here. Its is perfectly located right next to the castle and the must see clearview stove factory. All shops and restaurants are a stones throw away. The house was such a perfect place to stay; lovely and clean, perfectly decorated to reflect the character of the house with the addition of excellent modern bathroom facilities. Henrietta is the perfect host in that she makes you feel very welcome and is friendly and chatty, yet also respects your privacy as a guest. She shows empathy for her guests in that she knows what works well and not so well in being a guest and this is reflected in the home, what it has to offer and her hostess skill. I also have to mention the beautiful breakfast which uses locally sourced produce. This place is a must when visiting Ludlow.

  • Feel fantastic in uniqe house . Lovely bedroom and bath

    Krzysztof2016-11-27T00:00:00Z
  • Henrietta made our stay very welcoming. Every detail had been well planned, from huge bath towels to comfy bed. Delicious breakfast with lovely home made fruit salad, yoghurt, cereals, cooked breakfast and artisan breads. Lots of freshly brewed coffee and juice. We were made tea in her pretty sitting room on arrival and were able to park easily in her driveway. Henrietta's fabulous home is like a museum. Artwork, books, photographs and ornaments so tastefully displayed and a pleasure to peruse. The restaurants, bars, castle, markets and interesting shops are 2 minutes walk away. A perfect location and more than perfect hostess together with this historic property made our first experience with Air B and B a very pleasurable one. Thank you Henrietta and hope to stay with you again next year. Ann and Les

  • A wonderful old house and a charming host who went out of her way to make our stay extra special.

    Jeremy2016-08-10T00:00:00Z
  • What a beautiful house. The room and bathroom are huge, with old beams and period furniture. I slept very well in the massive bed. Henrietta was friendly and considerate, even paying for my street parking in the morning. The wi-fi worked well (it doesn't always in big houses). Breakfast was delicious, with mango, wild strawberries and a hearty fry-up. The house is in the middle of Ludlow, with its impressive historical buildings and excellent restaurants. I can recommend Henrietta's place thoroughly.

  • If your looking for a beautiful Listed house with an elegant bedroom, looking out on the garden. Look no further. The location couldn't be improved on. Just a few steps from the market and shops. We give 5 stars to the WildWood Resturant

  • Henrietta is the most gracious host. The opportunity to stay in Henrietta's beautiful home is a delightful experience I would recommend if you are planning a visit to Ludlow. I was looked after for the entirety of my stay, provided with a parking permit, advised on local restaurants and also given the space to relax on my own. Totally recommended for a peaceful time when resting after walking and shopping the historic Ludlow streets. The room and bed provided the best sleep experienced in a long time!

King Size Bed , Great Mattress. Art Deco Bedroom with en suite shower bathroom. Green Dragon was registered as a Pub in 1603. Last year as a Pub was 1956. Unique town centre property and you will have fun here. Right in the thick of mediaeval Ludlow. Wi Fi. Breakfast ; continental....can include cereal, danish pastries, fruit, yoghurt, toast, juice, tea, and coffee.
You will be right in Town. Enjoy a drink and a meal in our many wonderful restaurants, bars and bistros. All in a short stroll.
Green Dragon is IN Ludlow. Its a great relaxing place to live in or visit. There are plenty of old buildings, bistros, restaurants, privately owned shops, great walks , markets and pubs. We have a castle, lots of events go on there. Buy some of the local produce here. Our Butchers are the best. And if you want something from outside try the Fishmongers 100 yards away. Arbroath Smokies!! We even have a Cinema- most advanced. Pace of life is slower here...... so just become part of that.....
  • We made a last minute booking and lucked out completely! The house is in a brilliant location, with all of the pubs and restaurants within a 5 minute walk. Paul and Sue made us feel so at home, being greeted with a lovely glass of red was a particular highlight! We even spent one evening watching a film together in the living room. It genuinely felt like we were visiting friends and we were made to feel so welcome. Thank you both for a lovely weekend!

  • A very central yet quiet place to stay in Ludlow. Suzie and Paul are welcoming hosts and we felt relaxed and comfortable in their home, it was lovely to have flowers in our room. Our stay was brief but we managed to follow up a couple of Paul's suggestions as to where to go for a drink! We would stay here again if we had the opportunity.

    Lorna2017-08-14T00:00:00Z
  • Paul could not greet us in person as he was at work but he made sure we knew how to access our room and kept in touch by text. He had supplied various teas, coffees, biscuits and fresh milk upon our arrival which was a lovely touch. Paul is a generous and interesting host and we both felt welcome and comfortable in his home. The house is ideally situated to explore Ludlow on foot as it's very close to the town centre but nice and quiet at night. If you are lucky enough to step inside the kitchen you will be treated to a quirky colourful experience. We live a good 90 minutes away and I literally smiled all the way home. We arrived as guests and left as friends.

    Julia2014-08-25T00:00:00Z
  • Without doubt the best little B&B we've ever been to !! The welcome from hosts Suzie and Paul was warm and their beautiful bright colourful home is conceniently positioned just a few minutes stroll from the lovely town centre of Ludlow. The room has a very comfy bed, a spacious en suite bathroom and everything you need for a thoroughly enjoyable stay. The friendliness and warmth of the hosts should not be underestimated, we felt settled the minute we stepped into the house and will certainly be paying a return visit. An absolute gem !!!

Modern townhouse very close to centre of Ludlow with PRIVATE PARKING for at least one large car. Many shops and restaurants within a 5 minute walk. 10 minutes walk to the castle or down to the river at Ludford bridge. This property has been used as our family holiday home for several years and in many ways has been fitted out so that it is comparable to hotel standards. Besides a private garden the property has a garage which will take a second car of Fabia or Polo size or to store bicycles.
MINIMUM STAY IS 4 DAYS starting on any day. 25% discount for stays of 7 days or more. Bookings will only be accepted from the lead guest who must be willing to provide their full name and home address directly to us and not just to Airbnb. The duvets are feather and down and all mattresses have pocket springs. All bed linen and guest towels are Egyptian cotton. Besides curtains both bedrooms have blackout roller blinds. Also very quiet for such a central location - you can sleep with windows open at night if you wish without traffic noise. You should sleep very well here, we always do. The split level patio gives you a choice of where to sit. The upper patio is more sunny whilst the lower patio is nice and cool after a very hot day. The kitchen is very well equipped with lots of crockery, glasses and cutlery. For cooking you have everything you need if you wish to prepare a full meal and not just snacks. Besides saucepans and frying pans we have sharp knives, chopping boards, peelers, measuring jugs, spatulas, table spoons, strainers, casserole and serving dishes etc. A useful large cupboard in the kitchen can be used to keep outside coats, walking boots, umbrellas etc. N.B. The super king size double bed is NOT able to be used as two single beds.
Friars Garden is a modern development built about 15 years ago. It has a good neighbourhood feeling and most people are very friendly and we know many people who live here. Very much in demand as so close to the centre and all properties have at least one parking space.
  • Perfectly situated for town. Quiet and relaxed for its central location. A parking space is a real bonus. The house is modern, very clean and has all required for a cozy and comfortable stay. The towels are amazing! One of a compact row of terraced houses, its rooms are surprisingly spacious. A great stay all round - sure we will be back.

  • This a a very comfortable house and extremely user friendly. It is 5 minutes walk from the centre of a fascinating town. It is possible to spend a relaxing car- free week exploring Ludlow. The surrounding countryside is equally accessible excellent walking country.

  • We would thoroughly recommend this property. It is in an excellent and quiet location . Very near the town centre and an easy walk to shops. Private off road parking. It is beautifully presented throughout and immaculately clean. Very well equipped with hairdryer, washing / drying machine, microwave , fully fitted kitchen , wi-fi, satellite smart tv , DVD player and radio. Margaret, the host, provided tea coffee ,sugar and a starter pint of milk .Also towels, washing up liquid , toilet rolls and hand soap. There was a welcome information pack detailing how everything worked and offering some suggestions on places to visit or where to eat. I would definitely stay here again , if visiting the area. Margaret was an excellent host , although I never met her, we spoke on the phone and she was always very prompt in returning my emails.

This quintessential English terrace cottage, situated right in the heart of the historic market town of Ludlow is the ideal destination for your short breaks or extended family holiday.
  • The most comfortable, clean cottage, bed fantastic, very private but really close to amenitiies. We were in and out frequently but always managed to get the same parking space right outside the `private` gate. Would definately use it again. Be aware of step outside of front door. Thrilled with wood burner which we lit late at night for the cosiness of it.

  • Really lovely, spotlessly clean, quiet cosy cottage within ten minutes walk of Ludlow town centre. Comfortable bed, nice linens and towels. Everything you need in the kitchen, loved that I could have my usual morning fresh coffee because there was a cafetière there. Thanks for sharing this place with us!

  • A lovely and cosy place to stay when visiting Ludlow. The 701 bus goes from just outside the property if you find the 10 minute walk into town too much. Very pleasant stay with my wife, and we were both extremely pleased with this property. Kelvin was a great host who was very quick to respond to requests .... kindly let me store my bike in his locked garden shed. Although no allocated parking, we managed to park on the road right next to the row of cottages. Would visit this property again

Comfortable, affordable single room. I offer you a warm welcome in my home for the duration of your stay. It's a modern house in a quiet cul-de-sac with off street parking. It's a fifteen minute walk into historic Ludlow with independent shops, market, old buildings and castle. Also ideal for walkers and cyclists. The space is light, airy and quiet. The bathroom is next door to the bedroom and there is also a second toilet and cloakroom. I provide a vegetarian breakfast (vegan on request)
Comfortable single bed upstairs. Use of kitchen by arrangement.
There are two local takeaways (The Indian is especially good) and a Co-op.
  • If I could I would put staying at Hilary's house in the guidebooks about Ludlow because it' absolute perfection!! She is one of the most warm-hearted and loveliest ladies I've ever met; also she's an excellent cook, she has a shy but very cute dog, her house is wonderful, the room is luxurious and equipped with a super comfortable bed, a huge window overlooking a peaceful garden and she provided the softest towels I've ever used! She even picked me up in town and made me a superb breakfast using her own homemade bread. Ludlow itself is a beautiful little town but having Hilary as a host is what makes the experience so unique and outstanding. Thank you very very much again!!!

  • Hilary's home is lovely, she's a great host and it was perfect place to stay while I was at the Ludlow Food Festival. Her Vegetation full English was brilliant. I look forward to visiting Ludlow again and will book with Hilary.

  • Hilary is a wonderful host and was really helpful with local knowledge, even photocopying a couple of walks from her Shropshire walks book for me. As a previous visitor said, she told me I could have the bathroom to myself and Hilary used the downstairs cloakroom while I was there. It's not very far to walk from her house to Ludlow town centre and I was fortunate enough to find some alleyways through the residential area where she lives to come out at the top of a hill in a green space with a spectacular view of Ludlow. As my first view of Ludlow, it was brilliant!

A spacious, light double (or twin) room with ensuite. Wellside is a large house in a peaceful and leafy part of Ludlow, only five minutes walk from the rail station and ten mins to the market square, with off road parking. Lovely views of the garden.
The room is light and comfortable with an ensuite shower room. There's a chair to relax in and a tea and coffee tray to make your own drinks. The bed is normally made up as a large double, but let us know if you would prefer two twin beds as that is easy to arrange.
The area is generally quiet and peaceful. It's an attractive road with mature trees, an easy ten minutes walk from the town centre, market, castle, etc. Ludlow itself has many good cafes, pubs and restaurants. There are lovely walks by the river, in Mortimer Forest and the Shropshire Hills.
  • Sejour agreable.Accueil génial. Alison est une hotesse qui prend soin de ses hôtes. La chambre est tres agréable et silencieuse.

  • Alison was very welcoming and the room was very comfortable. It was immaculately clean - absolutely spotless. The bed was comfortable and there was a kettle for tea and coffee and Alison brought some fresh milk. The area was exactly as described, and was really a very short walk into the centre of town. When I could not get a table for dinner in town on Saturday night, Alison and her partner very kindly let me join them for dinner (I brought a takeaway to have) which was above and beyond what they needed to do and which I really appreciated. A really friendly helpful host. I recommend it highly. Breakfast was delicious and it was nice to have it quietly on my own.

  • We really enjoyed our stay with Alison. The location is excellent, with an abundance of restaurants and pubs within walking distance, and will suit anyone hoping to visit Ludlow and/or the surrounding areas. Our room was cosy, clean, and private from the rest of the house, providing us with exactly what we needed for our weekend break. Alison is attentive, friendly and keen to impart her knowledge of things to do in Ludlow - she's an excellent host whom I confidently recommend.

  • Alison was a very welcoming and friendly host. The room was spacious and clean and the bed very comfortable. The shower was also very good. We were provided with a tray of tea and coffee with some lovely locally produced biscuits. Breakfast was excellent, again lots of locally produced products and was served in the dining room overlooking the garden. It was a short walk to the station and into town which meant we didn't need to use the car. I highly recommend Alison's place and would definitely stay again if we were in the area.

  • Bronwen was very helpful and prompt in answering any queries. The key was straightforward to obtain and the listing was exactly as described. The cottage was a lovely base for a weekend in Ludlow. Located on a nice street, close to the centre of town, traffic noise wasn't a problem. The characterful cottage had everything we needed for a comfortable stay and was spotlessly clean. Would recommend for a weekend stay!

  • We had a thoroughly delightful stay. The charming cottage is right in the centre of Ludlow. Everything you could want is provided. We really appreciated the milk, bread & marmalade. Ludlow itself is charming, even in slightly inclement weather. A highly recommended stay.

  • We met with friends for a weekend in the lovely town of Ludlow. The cottage was great. Perfect location, very comfortable, beautifully clean & well equipped. Loved being able to buy lunch in the market & go back to the cottage to enjoy it. Lovely touch of home made bread & preserves. Would not hesitate to recommend it for a stay in beautiful Shropshire. Many thanks to Bronwen for the hassle free booking & helpful advice.

  • So nice to come into a clean home well equipped with everything you could need. The special extra touches of hand soap, sponges to clean dishes, dishwashing liquid and especially the coffee, milk, wonderful bread and jams. The pictures and discriptions of the home are accurate and the home is layed out using all spaces to provide the best accommodation. The location and the neighborhood are perfect. Right in the heart of the town convenient shop near by and also some great bakeries. This was our second stay and will make sure we book early enough in order to enjoy your home during our entire stay in Ludlow. Really appreciated the contact with detail information as to key access and parking and also the information packet withh detailed information including appliance manuals. Thank you

Martin and Ruby have lived in South Shropshire for nearly 30yrs and are happy to share their knowledge of local facilities, walks, pubs, music venues and restaurants. Ludlow is a superb foodie venue – whilst the accommodation is stocked with a wide range of facilities – if you need anything to assist with your eating and drinking – just ask! We are close-by neighbours so we ask guests to show them respect by minimising noise. Guitars / books / music etc available for use during your stay.
Ludlow is full of history and amazing coffee shops, restaurants, pubs and bars. We're surrounded by natural beauty and have a wealth of country walks to cater for all levels of fitness and abilities.
  • This is an absolute gem! The accommodation is modern, roomy and decorated to a very high standard and is situated at the bottom of Martin and Ruby's lovely garden. The location was great (a pleasant 15 minute stroll into town). The provision of breakfast ingredients is a lovely touch. Communication from Martin was superb from the offset and I can't recommend this accommodation enough.

    Stephen2017-06-24T00:00:00Z
  • The appartment had everything we needed and was very well located for Ludlow town and the surrounding region. We would recommend it.

    Charlotte2017-08-20T00:00:00Z
  • Martin and Ruby's garden cottage was a perfect spot for my wife and me. Immediate responses to email and text, helpful suggestions for meals, and an attentive yet unobtrusive care for our stay. Martin and Ruby are top-notch hosts who went above and beyond for us, and I'd highly recommend their lovely cottage.

    Geoff2017-05-03T00:00:00Z
  • A wonderful self catered cottage with a fantastic shower, brilliant full English breakfast and very friendly hosts.

    Katie2017-02-26T00:00:00Z
  • From the initial greeting on arrival until checking out after our two night stay, Martin was the perfect host. He showed us into the accommodation & how to operate the heating etc. before advising us of the quickest way into Ludlow (a pleasant 10-15 min walk away) and leaving us to our own devices. We had opted for the full English breakfast & the fridge was stocked with fresh ingredients for us along with milk & bread. I did chase a fried egg around the pan with a spoon on the first morning but a spatula was duly provided the same day ;-) All in all, it is a lovely little bolt hole to use as a base to explore Ludlow & Shropshire itself. We wouldn't hesitate to stay again & have already recommended it to friends.

  • You will find everything you need here for a great stay in Ludlow.

    Edward2017-10-22T00:00:00Z
  • We stayed in this fabulous garden retreat adjacent to owner's splendid Victorian house opposite the river Teme. Luxuriously equipped - everything looked brand new! Although 10-15 mins walk to centre, it did mean we didn't have to worry about parking which was easy and free (parking in Ludlow centre is well nigh impossible!). Owner provided breakfast essentials like milk, cereal, tea, filter coffee and toast, butter, etc which was a lovely touch. Super. Thoroughly recommend.

    Christine2017-02-02T00:00:00Z
  • Bijou studio accomodation at the bottom of Martin and Ruby's garden. Excellent ingredients for mueslie and full English breakfast provided and the best shower we've ever had. Ten minutues walk from Ludlow town centre. Ludlow has alot of intersting shops and good restaurants. Strongly recommend a visit to Stokesay castle which is 9 miles to the north near Craven Arms

An Grade II Listed building in the heart of Ludlow, on the town's central Broad Street and walking distance to the castle, this architectural gem will be a comfortable home from home. With a double bedroom and en suite, you will have everything you need in this beautiful historic town.
18th Century architecture, sensitively restored by local craftsman, winning a Heritage Award. Classic features with a comfortable luxury feel.
Ludlow is a traditional medieval British countryside town, with bundles of history.
  • This was everything we expected it to be - a picture of a bedroom with amazing en-suite shower room. A beautiful, fragrant and fresh space. Rhiannon is a perfect host laying on a trolley full of refreshments for us to help ourselves. Thanks Rhiannon - we highly recommend.

    Mark2017-05-28T00:00:00Z
  • We went to Ludlow for a long weekend to celebrate our wedding anniversary and were looked after by Rhiannon who treated us as if we were old friends down for the weekend rather than guests. We felt very welcome. The luxury bedroom and ensuite bathroom were beautifully furnished (the shower is fantastic) and thoughtfully provided with things you might need but had forgotten to bring which was a nice touch A choice of teas, coffees and biscuits was always available to welcome us back to the room after a day out. The rooms were also completely quiet - even though they are right in there heart of Ludlow - so we could not have asked for a better location. Shops and cafes are right outside the door. The market and castle are only 5 mins walk away and the fantastic Koo Japanese Restaurant is only slightly further. Park the car (Rhiannon helped us with parking permits for the on street parking outside the house) and then forget it for the weekend because you can walk everywhere. This is the perfect location from which to explore Ludlow, and a great place to stay thanks to Rhiannon's warmth and hospitality.

  • This was our second visit to Ludlow staying with Rhiannon and it was every bit as special as the first time. The room is lovely, the location is perfect and Rhiannon is delightful. We went for the Ludlow Christmas Fayre was great event but found time to enjoy two more of Ludlow's excellent resultants - Bistro 7 and the Parkway Cafe (for tapas). I love this town and there isn't a better place to stay to enjoy it.

Lavender Cottage in Ashford Mews is located right in the middle of Ludlow town centre just off Old Street, within two minutes of the shops, market square and Ludlow Castle, home to the most famous food festivals in the UK.
A cosy cottage that is ideal for couples ... there is a sofa bed in the living room but this would really only be suitable for a child or teenager.
Ludlow remains one of England's most quintessential market towns, where the emphasis is on local produce, local crafts and the great outdoors. The town is also famous for its Michelin star restaurants.
  • We really enjoyed our stay in Ludlow and having Lavender Cottage as a base was the icing on the cake. The cottage was just as we expected and the bottle of wine and fresh fruit waiting for us was very welcome after the drive from London. While the weather was quite cold and sometimes wet, Lavender Cottage was a welcome warm and cosy retreat after a day out. It is very conveniently located to Ludlow's many restaurants and pubs - what more could you ask for in this beautiful part of England? Many thanks Anne for making your place available.

  • The cottage was very well located being right in the centre of Ludlow. It is situated on a quiet private, gated path off Old Street and the surroundings are very nice. The apartment itself is a good size. It is ideal for two people. There is a living room with kitchen downstairs and bedroom and bathroom upstairs. The apartment was clean if a little dated and we were comfortable during our stay. We were only looking for somewhere to sleep so I can't comment on the kitchen facilities but they looked adequate. Carolyn was a great host. She was quick to respond to our messages and was very accommodating of our ever changing (traffic based) time of arrival. Carolyn also left us with some lovely cakes and apple juice from her own apples in the flat both of which were lovely and was a lovely touch. Overall we are happy with the apartment and would stay with Carolyn again.

  • Good location and helpful host.

  • A very cosy cottage, a stone's throw from all local restaurants and pubs that Ludlow has to offer. Enjoyed the comfort, alongside the basic rustic charm of the cottage; there is no wi fi for example but this encourages you to get out there and explore the gorgeous town, full of old world charm. We thought the jam tarts and apple juice a nice welcoming touch.

  • Had the most amazing time in this wonderful property, cosy, charming and an idyllic place to stay. Host was wonderful and the homemade apple juice presented to us upon our arrival was delicious :). I can't imagine anyone not having the same experience.

  • Holdgate was a lovely B&B in a perfect location to explore Ludlow and the surrounding area. Cherry, our host was extremely welcoming and friendly, giving us ideas on what we could do in the area and ensuring that we had everything we needed to make our stay a great one. The room itself was very comfortable, much bigger than the photo shows, there was fresh milk and freshly baked cupcakes, free wifi and a hearty breakfast served at a time to suit us. Really enjoyed our stay at Holdgate and hope to be back to explore Ludlow, its beauty and the many amazing restaurants we didn't dine at very soon.

  • My girlfriend Claire and I had an excellent stay at Holdgate. Cherry made us feel very welcome. Our room was specially decorated for Valentine's Day and we were provided with delicious Valentine's-themed cake! Holdgate was very easy to find and only a short stroll away from the centre of Ludlow. The room itself (we stayed in Holdgate 3) was warm, cosy and nicely decorated, with a good bathroom. Cherry is a lovely host. She was very helpful and made our breakfast slightly earlier so that we could go on a cycle ride. The breakfast was generously sized, and delicious! Overall, we really enjoyed our stay and thoroughly recommend staying at Holdgate.

Much of this was a direct result of Cherry being so good at what she does! The room was perfect, nice and spacious and with everything I could need. The whole experience from booking 'till breakfast was as convenient as the room was comfortable. Thank you.

  • We stayed at Gabi's as an overnight stop in Ludlow, on our way to an event in Wythall. We had never been to Ludlow before but heard it was a pretty place to visit and yes we totally agree. We found it to be very quaint and quirky in places (like a little cottage we saw called Toad Hall!) We met Gabi's partner, Ali, and he was very nice and showed us where everything was, before leaving us to it. We went out for the afternoon having lunch in a nice little cafe near the castle, then had a wander round the town and by the river before having a lovely meal at a restaurant which is known to locals as the Globe - very nice too. Thank you to Ali for both recommendations- spot on! Then we wandered back and had a comfortable and peaceful nights sleep in lovely beds. Our bed was heavenly- exactly as the picture. Gabi was in touch to ensure we were all ok, which was really thoughtful of her. We would all like to thank her from the bottom of our hearts, for going to so much trouble, to make us all welcome. She really helped us at a difficult time in our lives. So it's a thumbs up from us!

  • Easy stroll to town. Quiet, residential road, close to the river. Really good value and we'd love to stay again.

  • Gabi is very kind and suggested good places to eat and see. There was only one simple mechanical problem while I was there, which didn't even affect my use of the space, and it was fixed promptly. She was on it! Very comfortable big bed.

  • Quiet, residential street that was perfect for our visit to relatives nearby- we just needed a bed for the night. Short, easy walk into town and the river and not too far from the station. Comfy bed and lovely tea tray, plus use of the living room and garden if we had wanted it. Very friendly host who handed over keys and left us to it. A few strange creaky pipes/house noises in the night, but overall a really comfy, good value stay. Would definitely stay again and recommend.

  • A great location, just a short walk from the centre of Ludlow and in a nice quiet road so sleep was undisturbed! Roller blinds and curtains on windows kept out all of the light... Gabi was very accommodating when I arrived late becuase my phone ran out of power!! Very grateful for her help and understanding. A great place to stay!

  • The room was just as described. No frills, but very quiet and very comfy bed. We slept really well and were within 5 min walk of the centre of Ludlow which was what we wanted. We will stay there again for sure if or when we visit the area again!
