Bicycle Store
“My husband calls it "girl food" but, oh, my...delish, fresh girl food it is. The atmosphere is as good as the cafe style food with an added plus of organic wine and beer selections. Breakfast, lunch or dinner you just can't go wrong.”

Lodging
“I put the Locust Hill Inn and Pub under the 'Drinks and Nightlife' category as in our area there are many a restaurant and BnB (which Locust Hill is both & impeccably so) BUT there are FEW places to enjoy a good beer or glass of wine in a classic setting. Classy is their trademark. Whether sitting inside the warm, welcoming dinning area or out on the deck & yard spaces the folk at Locust Hill are Marlinton's masters of the Upscale Pub environment.”

Laundry
“Seemingly quirky laundromat with attached thrift shop. Closed on Thursdays (?) and Sundays. Otherwise said open from 10 AM to 4 PM. From their 2014 Facebook page: The local laundromat and thrift shop in Marlinton, WV has been reopened, and in the process of cleaning. But we are still open for business. Our services provide walk-in laundry services, drop-off laundry services, as well as full services provided by Peter Pan Laundry (picked up/dropped off on Saturdays). While your clothes are cleaning, walk through our thrift shop.”
