Sunrise Studio Light, bright, airy, and clean! Lovely south-facing studio room next to extensive gardens with private bath and separate entrance. You will enjoy the beautiful hardwood floors and high ceilings, a brand new queen memory foam bed with all new 100% organic cotton sheets, mini fridge, tea pot, and small sitting area. The private bath features a claw-foot soaking tub and glass-tiled shower.
We have a great location in a quiet neighborhood in downtown Talent, only 10 minute drive to Oregon Shakespeare Festival in Ashland. The sunny studio is within walking distance to the market, coffee shop, cafes, food carts, Camelot Theater, library, and yoga studio. Enjoy exploring up-and- coming Talent on foot or take a short drive to discover additional Rogue Valley offerings: wine tasting, Britt Festival in historic Jacksonville, and the abundant outdoor activities and options available in our beautiful region.
We enjoy a quiet neighborhood on a dead-end street. On some days during the week, the train passes by on the railroad tracks behind the back gate. This may occur once during any given day.
  • This is a very sweet place with many windows and lovely energy. Very clean, quiet and a great value. Robin is a great host and makes herself available to help you in whatever way she can.

  • A perfect stopover with my son on our way to Northern California.

    Corina2018-08-02T00:00:00Z
  • Robin's Sunrise Studio is charming-- super-clean, invitingly-eclectic, and serenely-simple. Every need was anticipated with small handwritten notes throughout the studio. The space itself is perfect for a couple needing to get away from city life for a couple of nights. The bed was exceptionally comfortable (for an AirBnB bed) and felt just like our bed at home. The bathroom was divine with beautiful art, mermaid-magic inspired tile work, and an honest to goodness claw-foot tub complete with bath salts and oils. There was even coffee and cream for us to use in the mornings. Couldn't ask for a more perfect getaway.

    Melissa2018-06-17T00:00:00Z
  • This private room with a claw foot bathtub and comfortable queen bed was just perfect for me. It's bigger than it looks in the pictures and it looks out over Robin's incredible backyard garden full of birds and flowers.

    Monica2018-06-25T00:00:00Z
  • Located on a beautiful river with access. Sitting outside on the deck was a pleasure accessible from our room.

    Kathy2018-07-11T00:00:00Z
  • We rented Robin's place for my parents who were visiting because it was close to our house. - Larry My mom says, " Robin's place was cozy and truly a home away from home. I did not use any of my own tea bags that I brought because a fun selection of teas were available in the room. The table and chairs on the patio outside the room were a delightful place to sit and enjoy Robin's backyard gardens."

    Larry2018-08-27T00:00:00Z
  • This is a perfect little vacation getaway! Very close to the Oregon Shakespeare Festival. Lovely, peaceful, relaxing space. We had a wonderful time and would absolutely book again!

    Shannon2018-05-23T00:00:00Z
  • Robin has created a sanctuary for ... your own personal spa day, a place to disconnect from technology(if you want because she has wifi too), or a place to get some good quality quiet time. Also theres a huge garden filled with aromatic and medicinal plants. Thank you!!

Upstairs, to the right if the attatched garage. Beautiful luxury studio. Full kitchen. Beautiful Cork floor, black granite countertops, stainless steel. Recessed lighting. Full size bathroom with modern bowl sink, walk in closet with cherry finish cabinetry, washer/dryer. Ceiling fans.
This is a very comfortable and home like experience in a quiet, residential neighborhood that is close to downtown and the I-5. It is a very well planned out upstairs unit with 400 sq ft that takes advantage of the space and feels much larger than what it is. From the very nicely equipped kitchen that can accommodate cooking most any meal (with spices, herbs, Keurig coffee, tea, sugar and creamers) to the full sized bathroom with a Jacuzzi tub you will be pleased. Then there is the walk in closet with a washer and dryer that includes detergents. Ideal for 2 people with a very comfortable queen bed and can easily accommodate 3 with the twin airbed. I do accept well behaved pets with a $25 pet fee. This site does not provide option to charge, but it can be paid upon arrival.
Very quiet, residential neighborhood. It is 2 blocks away from a large park with walking trails, water park, tennis, soccer, basketball and golf. We are walking distance to many bars, restaurants and downtown activities.
  • Quiet, relaxing place with all the comforts of home. Full kitchen and in room washer and dryer were a major plus. Easy drive to wine, theatre, and shopping. The park nearby was a big hit with our dog! Lovely stay, will definitely return when in Southern Oregon again.

  • Love, love, love Tina's place! Everything is as promised--clean and comfy, good wi-fi, super well-stocked kitchen. Efficient communication when we requested extra night at last minute. Convenient to shopping and gas. Close to Harry and David's headquarters (which we enjoyed touring), gas, major shopping and I-5, but in a quiet, residential neighborhood. Easy 20 min to Ashland and Jacksonville. Just what we hope for in an Air BnB!

    Gwen2018-07-03T00:00:00Z
  • Tina is the perfect hostess and has created a comfortable and cosy oasis with pretty much everything necessary for a great stay including a jacuzzi tub!

    Louisa2017-02-01T00:00:00Z
  • It had been very hectic and stressful for weeks, but I immediately felt calmed and relaxed when I stepped into the studio. It was exactly like the picture only better because of all the little gems throughout the studio you cannot see in the picture. Gems like multiple movie channels and Netflix, bathrobes, baggies in the kitchen for leftovers. The kitchen was stocked with enough utensils, cookware, dishes, and appliances to make all of my meals if I chose to do so. Great choices of coffee, tea, and hot chocolate for any time of day. The neighborhood was quiet and peaceful with a little market within walking distance to pick up supplies I did not get at the bigger grocery stores, which are also close. Bed was visually pleasing and a comfort to sleep in. Overall, it was a perfect place to stay to work and relax. Anytime I am in Medford, I will check the availability of Tina's Luxury Studio first.

    Kim2014-05-29T00:00:00Z
  • easy check in, delightful hospitality (offered me soup upon arrival), and was able to have the place ready super fast. would highly suggest this hidden gem!

    Taylor2018-08-28T00:00:00Z
  • I love to stay at Tina's when I am on business in Medford. Convenient, clean and very comfortable!

    Lisa2017-08-10T00:00:00Z
  • This is a GREAT home away from home set up. The extra large bathroom and walk in closet with laundry are an added plus, especially if you are staying long term. The full kitchen is well stocked with more than enough to make any meal you have in mind plus a dishwasher and Keurig.

    Lisa2017-05-25T00:00:00Z
  • A good place to stay with a dog. Probably the best time to stay at Tina's place is in the spring and fall. Unfortunately, I had to leave early because of the smoke from the wildfires in the area. Otherwise, I would have been awesome. A day trip away from the coast or Crater Lake.

The kitchen area includes coffee pot, microwave, refrigerator, cooktop, plates, utensils, tea kettle, and more.
We're located in the university district across a tree-lined boulevard from Southern Oregon University's beautiful campus.
  • This suite is in a pretty, little hotel with about 13 rooms. The grounds are beautiful and lovingly landscaped with lots of colorful flowers. The salt water pool was nice and warm in March, and it sits next to a small, pretty yard in which our children played. The Garden Suite was perfect for a family of four, and I really appreciated the coffee, tea, nice soaps and other touches.

    Stephanie2018-03-30T00:00:00Z
  • This is a beautiful oasis in close proximity to OSF. Clean, comfortable, and the staff were very friendly and helpful. We especially enjoyed the pool area and selection of teas. The suite includes a well stocked kitchen, but if you want to go out, this is a 3 minute stroll to the delicious Morning Glory cafe.

  • Note this place is part of a motel consisting of renovated doublewides. We had several problems during our stay, when we arrived the front desk didn’t have our name under the reservation list which seemed odd seeing as I booked this several days before. We then had to wait around so they could verify the reservation that had already been paid for. Secondly, we were put in a different room than was advertised. Normally I would be ecstatic about a upgrade to a luxury king room but as I specified in my reservation I was traveling with my father and they placed us in a room with one bed even though I paid for a room with two. I’m not sure why there was a mixup but if you plan on staying here I would contact the motel directly to confirm you get the room you pay for. Other than that David was helpful and responded quickly, also the gardens are lovely and the luxury rooms are nicely decorated.

    Zoe2018-06-15T00:00:00Z
  • This place was great. Very cute, comfortable beds, clean and within walking distance of downtown Ashland. Both staff that I talked to in the office were friendly and helpful. We would definitely stay here again.

  • We had an amazing NYE girls trip to this location. It was so clean and cute, not to mention dog friendly and close to town. 10/10 would recommend!!

  • Great place - thx so much!

    Susan2017-12-15T00:00:00Z
  • This is a little cottage apartment that is part of the Palm Inn. I hadn’t realized this when booking so I was surprised to have (Hidden by Airbnb) maps lead us to the parking lot of an Inn that I had happened to of stayed at years ago. The space is a cross between a streamlined , modern comfortable hotel; little cottage and a motel from the 50’s ( which I think is when this little place originated. ) You share one wall with the next room and you can hear a bit of the traffic noise but nothing really invasive. My daughter and I slept soundly, each in our own very comfortable queen bed. This place is also in a really great location with an easy walk to the center of town or to open if my favorite coffee spots , Case Coffee. The place was perfect for our purposes of staying the night. Check in was a breeze and I do recommend staying here.

  • Superb experience in every aspect. I’m happy with a clean and quiet place; it doesn’t take a lot to satisfy me. I’m guessing this place/experience would impress anyone though. It’s all there, down to every last detail. I will be back!

  • This was my second stay at Audrey's glorious place, and I've already booked another. If you are reading this, go ahead and book it if availability exists. Clean, quiet, beautiful, new, eloquent, luxurious- with all the thoughtful extras.

    Martin2018-02-02T00:00:00Z
  • What a wonderful stay I had. Far exceeded my expectations. Her little touches on everything made for such a perfect weekend. She thought of everything one might need if they forgot it. The sheets on the bed were the softest I have ever had- sheets are very important to me. Just a few minutes from downtown Jacksonville was a nice incentive as well. I highly recommend staying here.

  • We had a peaceful and lovely stay at Christi's new spot. It was up in the hills, not too tricky to find and a beautiful view to boot. Access and entrance was easy and it was spotless and comfy bed too. I've added a few suggestions to make it even more easy for guests to enjoy (since it's a new one from what I could tell) but overall it was a lovely getaway for my husband and I and we would stay there again :)

    Wendy2018-07-22T00:00:00Z
  • Hospitality was great, would definitely recommend!! Great view and great place to stay! We loved it!

    Gaby2018-08-05T00:00:00Z
  • Off the beaten path, (about a 20 min drive to Ashland), this was such an incredible deal for such an idyllic spot! The studio apartment was the perfect size for one or two people. It had a small kitchen (sink, fridge, microwave, coffee (Website hidden by Airbnb) oven or stove) but that didn’t matter to me since I was there to enjoy the Shakespeare festival and planned to eat at the wonderful Ashland restaurants. The pool and view from the pool were gorgeous and relaxing. I think that there were others staying on the property, but never saw them so I had the whole pool to myself. The bed was so comfy and the walk in shower was gigantic! The only recommendation would be to put some sort of chair because there was no where to sit but the bed. Otherwise it was PERFECT!!!! Can’t wait to go back and stray here again!

Our home is close to Ashland (Oregon Shakespeare Festival, Ashland Film Festival), Jacksonville (Britt Festival), award winning winerys (Pebblestone Cellars, Aurora Vines, Trium), hiking, biking, fishing, skiing and much more. You’ll love it here because of our 2.5 acre beautifully landscaped gardens, the lovely vineyard next door, and that the property is gated for extra privacy. The suite is good for couples, solo adventurers, and business travelers. We look forward to hosting you!
Guests are free to roam the winding pathways of our beautiful gardens. Enjoy your coffee outside in a couple of our favorite chairs in the front garden, which is our lovely, shaded garden, while listening to the water fall in one of our many fountains.
The gardens also have gorgeous neighbors. Pebblestone Cellars are right next door and wine tasting at Stoneriver Vineyards and Aurora Vines Winery are only a mile and a half’s walk away.
  • One of the best Air bnb's we've stayed at. Beautiful grounds and accommodations.

  • Our stay at Wisteria Gardens could not have been better! From beginning to end, Sara's hospitality and the lovely environment made our time there a pleasure.

    Kristin2017-09-23T00:00:00Z
  • The place is absolutely beautiful; the hospitality was warm And caring. We have stayed in a number of AirBnb places and this was one of our favorites.

    Jane2017-09-06T00:00:00Z
  • The apartment had everything we needed and was beautifully arranged. The trees in the garden were superb and gave the whole place a peaceful beauty. We only wished we could have stayed longer and will certainly stay again if we are in the area.

    Lawrence2017-08-11T00:00:00Z
  • This is a fantastic place! It is well appointed and very comfortable with warm hospitality. And it has a wonderful library. A perfect place to stay if you want to read in the garden or hike in the mornings and see plays in Ashland in the afternoon or evening

    Marc2017-04-12T00:00:00Z
  • Such a beautiful, comfortable, elegant spot.

    Garrett2017-11-08T00:00:00Z
  • Everything about this Airbnb was lovely. The apartment itself was well stocked with everything we could need, the gardens were gorgeous, and our hosts were very welcoming. Sara went out of her way to make sure we felt at home for our quick trip. Just a quick trip in to Ashland for the Shakespeare festival, but it felt like a world away!

    Elizabeth2017-07-29T00:00:00Z
  • This is a very nice accommodation with sweet dishes, wonderful books, a nice bath tub (always a major plus in my book), a comfy bed, and well tuned piano. The space is located in gorgeous garden property and I had purple wisteria and deep red peonies blooming during my visit. I also appreciate the two bouquets of fresh flowers in the guest quarters. They also provide an assortment of breakfast items, some of them deliciously fresh baked. I loved my stay which was perfect for my needs. This is a great value as well!

Guests stepping inside this boutique European-style hotel for the first time are greeted with a warm ambiance, clawfoot tubs, personable front desk staff, plush reading areas, period furnishings and original touches. Built in 1910, The Columbia is unlike any other hotel most guests have experienced and is Ashland's oldest and longest operating hotel.
Your room has 11 foot ceilings, a queen bed, and reading chairs. The bathroom comes with a clawfoot tub, skylight, and original antique fixtures. There is also a wall of large windows in the room, closet and walkability to all the best things in Ashland. Turn of the century character and charm make this unique historic building and guest rooms a sought-after destination for guests from around the world.
There are 30+ independent restaurants right around the property. Lithia Park and the plaza are 2 blocks out your front door, and the Shakespeare Festival is just 1 block away.
  • My stay at the Columbia was great! David was friendly and responsive and his front desk staff were helpful and kind. I had room 5 with a queen bed and day bed with attached bath. It was wonderfully preserved for the time period. The claw foot is just that, a tub so now shower in room, though there are guest showers down the hallway. My room faced out into Main Street with large beautiful windows all the way across. As with any street facing room you will hear traffic and noise from below including bar patrons and music until closing time so if that’s an issue for you you might consider staying towards the back of the hotel. All in all a great stay that I would absolutely book again!

    Rachel2018-04-10T00:00:00Z
  • We were surprised to find that this place was right in the heart of downtown Ashland. They were quick to respond to our queries, check in was easy and there is secured parking just behind the hotel. Our room was charming in an old-world way with huge windows overlooking the main street. The bathroom had a huge clawfoot tub which we had a nice relaxing soak in. And it was an amazing value. Thanks so much David and Co.!

    Jane2018-03-06T00:00:00Z
  • This is a hotel more than an Airbnb. Our room was clean and neat and we had a great short stay- the location is the heart of downtown Ashland. The showers are shared but were clean and safe, separate male and female shower rooms. There was a nice clawfoot tub in the room but we didn’t have time to get in a soak.

    Michael2018-07-24T00:00:00Z
  • We had an amazing time!

    Launa2018-05-21T00:00:00Z
  • We loved the central location and not needing to drive for a couple of days. The room was very comfortable and the claw foot tub was excellent.

    Julie2018-03-28T00:00:00Z
  • We had a quick (single night) but terrific stay here! This boutique hotel is so cute and feels like you have stepped back in time. It’s very quiet except for the occasional street noise which is expected when you stay on Main Street. Everyone was friendly and check in was a breeze. The claw footed tub was great but the shower was down the hall from our room-not a problem for us though! I would stay here again in a minute!

    Denise2018-02-21T00:00:00Z
  • The Columbia hotel is a lovely historic hotel in a fantastic location. It is a hotel though, making it quite a bit different than the typical airbnb experience. We enjoyed the comfortable bedding, cavernous claw foot tub, and friendly staff. We had a few minor complaints: no private shower, thin walls that made us feel at time we were sleeping in the lobby, and a bizarre rule about 3 hour time limits on the complimentary tablet. None of this would prevent me from staying there again if I needed a room in Ashland

    Michael2018-03-05T00:00:00Z

A modern and contemporary suite located steps away from the Ashland conference center and just minutes to downtown. Step into this light filled space which boasts stunning walk in shower, antique brass fixtures, and convenient coffee bar. Thoughtfully designed from the heated bathroom tiles all the way up to the hand stained vaulted ceiling. Enjoy the breathtaking views of Grizzly Peak, and the local non-commercial airport. $10.00 pet fee per reservation. 1 dog maximum. (#18-243).
We provide a small refrigerator, electric tea kettle, local coffee, tea, french press, and coffee cups.
We are conveniently located 1 minute to the freeway entrance (you cannot hear or see the freeway) and adjacent to a large hotel/conference center. There are 4 restaurants right out our back door (okay maybe a few minutes to walk there) and yet we are located on top of a secluded knoll with stunning unobstructed views of the valley. You will feel like you are in the country but only steps away from the action. We are also just a few minutes to Emigrant Lake and 2 miles from a winery!
  • We loved everything about our stay here! The property and parking space are off of the street and very private, but downtown is less than a 10-minute drive away. Also, the room is very comfortable and beautifully decorated. Abby and Matt were welcoming and communicative, and they were quick to reply to questions.

Warm and inviting, and closed off from the main house. You would occupy one end of the home. Large private mid-century bath, and private deck! The Tuft and Needle memory foam bed is very comfortable! Your 3 room suite does not include a kitchenette however, your sitting room does have most of the typical amenities. With a small refrigerator, microwave, toaster and Keurig coffee maker.
This space is on the east end of the main house and is one story. Easy in and out with bags through the side gate (pictured). Your room is clean and clear of clutter and is closed off to the main part of the house. The sitting room can be used as an extra bed room for a fee. Both rooms have a fan, and great wifi. I am in the historic east side in a charming safe neighborhood, not in the middle of industrial area! I'm on a bustling street during the daytime. Regardless, if you prefer to sleep during the day, guest rooms are very quiet; see reviews. Medford, Ashland (12 miles), Jacksonville, Shakespeare, Theater, Crater Lake (65miles), Britt, Rafting, Fishing. Wineries and Breweries.
People have referred to our neighborhood as "The gem of Medford". Homes were mostly built from the 30's to the early 50's. Between the massive trees, amazing vegetation/gardens and the unique homes, this is a great place to run, walk, or drive. Downtown and restaurants are about 1.5 miles west on Main St.
  • Linda è una padrona di casa perfetta! Gentile e disponibile, pronta a darti tantissimi consigli su cosa fare e dove andare.

  • Lovely host, lovely home, highly recommend this as a place to stay. The home is beautiful and clean. The host is very accommodating and we left feeling like we made a new friend in Medford.

  • Linda is a warm, gentle, sophisticated and interesting person. She was very flexible about our early arrival. We felt that we were staying at a friend's house rather than someone else's house. Her neighborhood is very nice. Her home is very clean, and well decorated. She has very good taste. Her breakfast was delicious, she gave us an quich like breakfast with fruit and coffe and tea, and delicious bread. She had bathrobes for us, as well as all manners of towels. Her dog Henry is a well mannered sweetheart. I cannot sing enough praises for Linda. Airb&b should use her as a gold standard for how their accommodations should be.

    Miganoosh2015-08-08T00:00:00Z
  • Everything was calm, clean, access to kitchen for tea, Great place to come back to at the end of each busy day. My grand daughter also loved it and her dog Henry.

  • We really enjoyed staying with Linda. She waited up for our arrival - which was well into the night - and she instantly made us feel welcomed. The room was extremely clean; the bed was super comfortable and warm (heated blanket!); and the aesthetics were pleasing. The bathroom was also very clean and accommodating. Linda was an engaging host, and I recommend her to any others traveling through the area.

    Jennifer2016-01-01T00:00:00Z
  • Linda was a kind, gracious, and knowledgeable host. Her home was very lovely and comfortable, and her dog, Henry, was a total lovebug. The bedroom was relaxing, and the mattress was great! The bathroom was clean and nicely designed with all sorts of amenities. Linda made a great dinner recommendation, and also gave us a delicious breakfast. We felt very welcomed! Staying with Linda is comparable to staying with a good friend.

    Margaret2016-03-04T00:00:00Z
  • A beautiful neighborhood, a lovely hostess & wonderful accommodations .... Who could ask for more! Actually, she also made us breakfast also.

    John2016-05-17T00:00:00Z
  • What a relaxing place to stay. Linda was a gracious hostess, she went out of her way to insure I had a comfortable stay. Her home is in a quiet and safe neighborhood with parking off street and a private entrance if desired. Her home is conveniently located to Ashland and the Rogue River Valley. She gave me great advice on restaurants and wineries and things to do in the area. I especially liked the deck attached to room, where I enjoyed fresh coffee each morning. The private bath was spacious and the room had ample space for clothes and storage. Everything she advertised was very accurate. Her home is very clean and comfortable. The Bed was very comfortable and I slept great. I highly recommend her accommodation.

  • We enjoyed our stay in this thoughtfully designed space - comfortable bed, lovely gardens attentive hosts.

  • Great small studio space to stay at, especially when traveling with a dog!

    Wiebke2018-01-24T00:00:00Z
  • This spot is everything you want and more. The reason I gave it 4 and not 5 stars was because one of the beds in the suite was extremely squeaky and if I shifted at all in my sleep the noise woke me up. I don’t have issues sleeping in uncomfortable spots so this was a rarity. I have a feeling it will be fixed. If we’d gotten in sooner I’m sure it would’ve been on the spot. The other bed was great! Our 3 year old slept there, she loved it.

    Alex2018-03-13T00:00:00Z
  • This is a perfect place to stay while visiting SOU. It is in walking distance from the campus (across the street). Well kept property and suite. Clean and great service from check in to check out.

    Melody2018-02-18T00:00:00Z
  • A great location for visiting our daughter at SOU. Right across the street and much nicer space than the hotel we’ve usually stayed at just down the road. Nice to have the little kitchen. Super friendly staff in the office and nice little extras like movies available, even though we didn’t use them. A short drive to downtown Ashland for great eats, entertainment and parks

    Nathan2018-01-07T00:00:00Z
  • The room was better than I expected! Beds were extremely comfortable with the option for specialized pillows from the front. It is in a motel complex but very upscale from any type of motel I've been to. Even had a kitchen and a breakfast nook and allowed dogs for a small fee. I would DEFINITELY stay back here again if I'm in the area. Great host and location

    Ashley2017-12-27T00:00:00Z
  • Absolutely charming cottage with wonderful decor. Very nice amenities beyond the typical airbnb (in my somewhat limited experience). THANK YOU for the tea kettle! Great A/C (quiet and efficient). We enjoyed the pool, and the gardens are gorgeous. My only concern was that my bed was incredibly squeaky, but apparently I slept like a log because it didn't bother me or my travel companion once the lights went out. Our single night stay was completely comfortable.

    Elizabeth2018-06-25T00:00:00Z
  • Great location for a college tour of Southern Oregon University (right across the street!) Loved the outdoor pool area and enjoyed a glass of wine by the fire pit in the evening. The set up of the 2 separate sleeping areas for my husband and I and our teenage son were perfect. The unit was super clean and very comfortable. Many thanks David!

If you walk to the bottom of our driveway you may choose to walk down our beautiful tree-lined street about a mile to the heart of Jacksonville. With Fall on the way you'll see a fanciful mix of homes and gardens and the trees turning beautiful shades of yellow, orange, rust, brilliant red, and some colors which are difficult to describe. Jacksonville in full Autumn easily compares to New England, and it’s a lot closer . About half way down you'll see the entrance to our beautiful Woodland Trail with markers and signposts along the way. You can also stroll through the beautiful Britt Gardens, home of our world famous Britt Music Festival. We also have a supermarket in town. We get all 4 seasons here in Jacksonville. The Winters are usually cool with a touch of snow now and then and a decent amount of rain to keep everything so green. Spring is amazing with the various orchards in bloom, blossoms and greenery from all sorts of plants and trees and the Britt and Shakespeare festivals getting into full swing. Summers can be rather warm during the day but we are usually blessed with a welcome coolness in the evening thru morning.
  • Great spot, very peaceful, relaxing and quiet. Very thoughtful with hospitality. Nestled up in the woods of Jacksonville.

Located in the hills above Jacksonville, the surroundings were beautiful. Away from the city lights we were able to sit out on the deck at night and do some star gazing.

    Jim2016-08-27T00:00:00Z
  • Len and Linda’s place was great. It was everything we needed. We saw plenty of deer and turkey. Sitting on the deck in the evening was wonderful. We loved the jetted tub and bed was super comfy.

Since it's not a big hotel, you won't be interfered with noises as well. Perfect for people who needs quiet environment.

Spacious room (370sq. ft), with private entrance, overlooking beautiful gardens, quiet residential neighborhood. King size tempurpedic adjustable bed, private bathroom, wi-fi, Electric fireplace. Easy access to I-5.
Your room is spacious with plenty of room to spread out. It's soothing and comfortable, looks out onto flower and vegetable gardens, with paths to wander and enjoy, perhaps sit beneath the willow tree with your coffee in the morning sun or wine in the afternoon shade and watch the hummingbirds!
Ours is a quiet, well maintained neighborhood with trees, and flowers, with a wetland area in the center. Level sidewalks provide a perfect place for a leisurely walk at dusk or first thing in the morning, or a little more challenging walk a long the fire road at the end of the street. Neighbors are friendly and respectful. Five minutes away are several of our favorite restaurants and wine tasting rooms, often with local entertainment.
  • One of the most comfortable beds that I've ever slept in....

  • Sorry for writting so late. Diane was a very gracious and kind hearted host. We spent two nights in her lovly and artistic room, which was clean. comfortable and better than she discribed, even the tissue was so pretty. The house is very closed to Ashland and is filled with wonderful restaurants, and it also closed to the Crater Lake which is amazing to see. Diane is so observant, she prepared a bed for my son and gave him some toys. she let my son to play in her beautiful garden and picked up the tomatoes. Due to the long trip, my son was got fever. Diane gave us many help, even toke us to the hospital and stayed with us for a whole afternoon. She treated us like a family member, and I really apprecitaed her huge and selfless supports! thanks again. Now, my son is getting better and he even remember Grandma Diane! It was our unforgettable experiece and it couldn't have been better. We highly recommended this Airbnb to other families and friends, and hope to come again.

  • I had work in Medford for a week & was very pleased to be able to come home to Diane's sweet little guest cottage at night. The bed is crazy comfortable & the shower is amazing. The room is spacious with nice touches. The neighborhood is quiet & I felt safe when I'd go out for evening or morning strolls. I had a relaxing stay. Diane was kind & understanding when my arrival time became late (nearly midnight) & even offered to set out a cup of tea or glass of red wine. The room opens up to a back garden which looks lovely. I'd stay here again. Highly recommended. Thank you Diane!!

  • Meeting Diane and experiencing her beautiful suite was such a blessing! It is a little bit of heaven, as you walk into her glorious backyard filled to overflowing with glorious flowers in bloom everywhere! The suite is just lovely with everything you need; super clean, well appointed, and a fantastic shower! Diane was so incredibly kind and warmly welcoming, she went the extra mile in every way. I highly recommend this beautiful space for a place of peace and serenity.

  • This was the best AirBnB experience I've had. The hostess was friendly and accommodating, without being at all intrusive. The accommodations were even better than expected - we were already recommending the place to family on Day 2! The neighborhood was peaceful and lovely. Really, it was everything you could hope for. The room looked onto the gorgeous gardens of the back yard, with a table and chairs outside to enjoy the setting. The bed was comfortable, with extra pillows and blankets for our use. The location was easily accessible to the freeway, and a convenient distance to both Ashland and Medford. The hostess even provided a binder with information about things to see and do in the area. What made it an excellent experience was just the hostess's attention to detail - she seemed to anticipate the needs any traveler would have and aimed to meet them (she exceeded them!). The whole experience was excellent.

  • Love Diane's garden cottage studio! The room is beautifully decorated and very comfortable - wish we could have stayed here longer! Diane thought of everthing to ensure that our stay was perfect: a lovely welcome basket with fruit and yummy baked goods, and an ice bucket in our ready to chill the bottle of Roxy Ann pinot gris that we picked up from the local store. She is a wonderful host and we truly enjoyed staying in her lovely home!

    Monica2016-06-23T00:00:00Z
  • Diane was very responsive to our emails & texts. The room was very spacious & beautifully furnished. Diane greeted us & left us with a basket of homemade goodies as well as cold drinks in the refrig. The second night we met Diane's husband & we shared a glass of wine with them before leaving for play in Ashland. The garden area was beautiful & a delightful place to sit & be mellow. Diane is a great hostess & I would highly recommend this AirB&B

Our home is a unique ranch style with laminated, curved, open beam ceilings & hardwood floors. The Master Suite features; a small kitchenette, a modest but full bathroom, and a spacious “L” shaped master suite . A corner rock fireplace and table area separate a comfortable sleigh bed, and a over thick foam foldout futon. There is also a roll away bed, and a child sized bed in the nook “kid” area.
Our home rests on 6 acres of oaks just outside Ashland City Limits, right off of I-5 Exit 11. We look out on the foothills to the east, and forest land rises up behind us. We’re in a wildlife corridor and our night cameras have captured resident fox, possums, raccoon, jack rabbits and bobcat, as well as visiting deer, bear, coyote, wild turkey, river otter, and briefly, a couple of cougar passing through. Acorns, blackberries, wild plums and apples, along with two seasonal creeks and several ponds draw in the area wildlife. If bird watching is of interest, bring binoculars to help identify the many species you’ll see. We are well situated for visiting area destinations. It’s 5-10 min. (depending on traffic) to downtown Ashland and the Oregon Shakespeare Festival, beautiful Lithia Park, quaint shops and amazing restaurants; and only 3 minutes to convenient groceries, gas, restaurants, and shopping. A quick hop on the freeway south will have you at Mt. Ashland ski resort in 20 min. Emigrant Lake is just a 10 minute country drive, and an additional half hour will take you to nearby mountain lakes. You can be on a golf course in 5 minutes, or visiting the Science Works Hands-on Museum in 10. An easy hour drive will take you to the scenic Rogue River Hellgate Jet Boat Excursion, or the mind boggling Oregon Vortex. Crater Lake would be an enjoyable full day outing. Having lived in Ashland since 1975, we are well able to steer you toward our many local attractions. Our home is a unique ranch style, with hardwood floors, and laminated, curved, open beam ceilings that provide a warm and spacious feel to the rooms. The 600 sq.ft guest quarters are on one end, and we live on the other side of the house. This master suite includes; a queen size sleigh bed with high quality mattress, a sitting area with chairs, and a large deep foam futon couch that sleeps two adults in comfort. A bay window nook can function as a cozy child’s bed, and there’s a roll away bed in the room if needed. And a tri-fold thick foam pad for lying down a sleeping bag. A table and chairs sit in front of a stone fireplace, providing a perfect spot for cards and board games. There is a cabinet filled with games and puzzles to choose from. A flat screen TV (with Sling TV and Netflix), DVD player, and wifi are included. The suite has a small “kitchenette” with a mini refrigerator, microwave, toaster, and coffeemaker, as well as some dishes and tableware. We provide our guests with a variety of tea and fresh ground coffee, and will try to have some snacks or fresh fruit available if you happen to arrive in the wee hours and need a pick me up. There’s a glass carboy dispenser with bottled water. Your private bathroom has a stall shower, and towels, shampoo, conditioner and soap are provided, as well as a hand held hair dryer. If really in need, there is also a full bathroom outdoors at the other end of the house, you are welcome to use. The entrance to your room is up a wheel chair accessible ramp (great for luggage on wheels) and cedar deck in front of the house. You may sit on the deck by the koi pond. Birds love to drink from the waterfall cascading over rocks. If you would like to feed the goldfish and koi, let us know and we’ll leave food and instructions for you. The deck is also a great place for night time star gazing. A lock box is next to the entrance and we will give you a combination to access your keys, so a group of you may share keys and come and go as you wish. Your space is private, and separate from the rest of the house. There is an inside door bell that will ring us should you need anything, most of the time we are available and are very happy to assist. We have two cocker/poodle mix pups who will spend much of the day inside our portion of the house and we keep them in at night. We also have chickens that may be out roaming at times. If you have a dog with you, let us know if you are concerned it would give chase, and you would like us to keep them caged.
Our neighbors on the north, south and west sides also have acreage, so the view is of oaks and pastures. To the east we have freeway frontage for easy access. There is noise from the traffic that you hear outdoors, but is greatly diminished from inside the suite. There's a large dirt driveway and a business woodwork shop down in front of the house and can at times create some short term eyesores. We will try to keep things tidy.
  • I would not recommend this rental to anyone.

  • Great stay. Thanks Christine & Wayne!!

    Caroline2017-08-10T00:00:00Z
  • Christine and Wayne's place is a great place to stay when visiting Ashland. It's a little south of town in a woodsy area at the end of a dirt road. The space is clean, roomy and homey and perfect for our family of five. Kids enjoyed the games and picture books and chickens in the yard, my husband and I enjoyed being able to make tea in the morning in the little "kitchenette." We only stayed one night, just passing through on a road trip, but would stay longer if we visit the area again.

    Heather2018-08-13T00:00:00Z
  • Lovely stay off the beaten trail in Ashland! Close enough to downtown to be convenient but also a quiet, rustic retreat. Everything was comfortable and cozy, plenty of directions to get there and any of our questions were rapidly responded to by our kind hosts. Neat to watch the digital photo frame that displays pictures of animals roaming the property at large (but have no fear, we never saw any in person!). Would definitely consider staying here again in the future.

  • Christine & Wayne were just lovely! The space was truly a gem, fireplace, gluten free and organic snacks, organic toiletries. Very thoughtful offerings throughout the space. Easily accommodated three. It was the perfect stay and exactly what three exhausted travelers needed to revive and reset. Thank you!

  • Aaron was very helpful. I made a mistake in the check-in date, he answered his phone right away and even helped me change the date on the computer. The hostess was very helpful with breakfast recommendations. I also got there almost at midnight and the front desk was helpful with getting me situated at such an odd hour. The hotel was in a perfect location, right on Main St. The room was perfect for the night.

  • Perhaps I didn't read the listing thoroughly, but we were surprised that this was a motel. It turned out to be simply wonderful. The room was beautifully appointed and modernized. Really nice bathroom fixtures. The room is very small so there is only one chair and one nightstand. Since we both like to read in bed that always presents a problem. The people in the office, Linda and David (I think) were super kind and helpful. They offer a lovely selection of teas and coffee in the office. There is also a pillow menu which we didn't use. I bring my own. We walked to downtown and around Lithia Park. An easy walk of less than a mile. Parking is ample and there was an electric car charging station. This is a good value. We will stay here again.

  • You will not be disappointed with your time spent at Stone’s Throw. It’s located a comfortable walking distance from the downtown plaza, stylishly furnished, and filled with every accommodation you might desire. We enjoyed leisurely breakfasts in the garden, as well as a late night campfire, and riding bikes on the nearby Bear Creek Greenway. Karin is quick to respond to your emails, offers numerous dining suggestions, and is well-versed in the all that Ashland area has to offer recreationally, to include hiking biking, wineries.

    Gina2018-06-22T00:00:00Z
  • Absolute perfection! Karin is a gracious host with an immaculately clean and peaceful place. Her garden looks as though it is out of Sunset Magazine and offered a beautiful setting for relaxation. The guest home is cozy and comfortable, with a well-stocked kitchen and very comfortable bed. Within an hour of our arrival, we were wanting to plan a return trip! The neighborhood is nice and quiet and we were an easy walk to the heart of Ashland where we enjoyed the shops and restaurants and theater. Karin also offered great guidance in hiking options! We loved our experience and highly recommend The Stone's Throw Bungalow!

  • We loved staying at Karin's place. She did a wonderful and thoughtful job equipping the home with everything you might need. It was beautifully decorated located in a historic area of Ashland. We enjoyed the beautiful garden and quiet location. We ran or walked every morning and biked on the bike path which is easy to get to ride to from her home. We saved money by making breakfast and lunch in the kitchen. We walked to dinner and the plays easily. It was a great experience.

    Cindy2016-08-08T00:00:00Z
  • Karin was the perfect hostess...charming, warm, full of information. Stone's Throw was scrumptious...clean, comfortable, a glass of wine in the flowering garden. It was but a few blocks from downtown Ashland.

    Marjorie2015-08-05T00:00:00Z
  • We would highly recommend Karin's Airbnb. The lodging was very comfortable, the kitchen well equipped, and it is an easy walk to the Shakespeare Festival. There is a beautiful peaceful garden. She thoughtfully provided fruit and yogurt which was enough for the first breakfast. Karin also gave us great advice for local hikes and wineries.

    Larry2018-07-08T00:00:00Z
  • My husband and I chose to stay at Stones Throw instead of a hotel for a trip to Ashland. We enjoyed the accommodations and how close we were to town without the noise of street traffic. Karin is delightful and we truly enjoyed our time. Beautiful bungalow and wonderful garden area. We will definitely choose Stones Throw for our next visit in the summer and recommend to our friends. Loved all the decor and extra provided!

Located in the east Ashland countryside, and exactly three miles from the downtown Ashland Plaza and infamous Oregon Shakespeare Festival, this cottage has it all! The mountain views are stunning and the gardens alive with color in the spring and summer. Enjoy the whimsy and art found in the studio and garden. This makes the property unique and eclectic. Note: Our internet is satellite based and can be spotty at times. It's not great for streaming.
Nestled among the trees with wonderful views of the east hills, this cozy cottage features a queen-sized bed and bathroom, large, well-stocked kitchenette with microwave and toaster oven, and dining area. The living room is comfortable, with a love-seat, futon, and large flat-screen TV. The satellite internet connection can be spotty and is not great for streaming video or audio content. The Cottage stays quite pleasant in the heat of the summer with air conditioning. There is also a large collection of movies available for your viewing pleasure. The Owner is a well known local Artist. Michael Gibson, and his Partner, Don, have lived in Ashland for many years and are socially involved with the community. The studio features their art as does the garden. The property is fun, creative, and inviting. Guests have access to the cottage and much of the yard. The property sits on private acreage. As the property sits on the East Hills side of Ashland, it tends to be out of the hustle and bustle, but still just five minutes from downtown.
Located in the Ashland's East hills, but just three miles and five minutes from all that Downtown Ashland has to offer. Less than ten minutes to several of the areas wineries too!
  • Although we only stayed for a quick stopover for a night on our Oregon road trip, the location was just perfect. We briefly met the hosts who were very kind and welcoming.

    Amanda2016-08-21T00:00:00Z
  • This place is wonderful -- full of whimsy and personality with surprises (like the alligator on top of the hot tub and the blue bottle tree) around every turn. The Art Cottage itself was comfortable and had us wishing our stay was longer, but we also know we will be back the next time we visit Ashland.

    Diane2017-11-03T00:00:00Z
  • Just as advertised. A great place to stay in Ashland.

    Gus2016-09-17T00:00:00Z
  • When we had an issue with the electricity (we tripped a breaker) they were super quick to respond and turn it back on. We were a little chilly and used all the blankets and the 2 space heaters (there's not central heating from what we could see.) All the decorations and use of the Keurig really made it a great place.

  • This is a lovely space to stay in while visiting Ashland/Medford. Far enough out of Ashland to keep away from the madness but close enough to get there quickly for a play! Very neat and clean. The artist who lives there has decorated the space inside and out and it is worth the time to stroll about looking at everything. Perfect for a couple. We did not bike to town but I believe the trail is very close and accessible if you want to do that.

    Leah2017-04-08T00:00:00Z
  • Lots of inside and outside art and an extensive, imaginatively-planned garden! Go in the springtime or early summer, however, to see the garden at its best. We came in September and the plantings were mostly dried up, dead, gone. The cottage is larger than expected, which is good because it is pretty cluttered with decorative objects--all interesting collections, but there's a lot of stuff. Comfortable seating and plenty of good lighting in the living space, which is not always the case with rentals. Bed is ok but could use an upgrade. There's a microwave but no range or oven, so plan accordingly Property backs up to the freeway, so there's quite a bit of noise when you are sitting outside---and there are many places to sit outside, which we appreciated. However, it's quiet in the bedroom, which matters most. Plan on a 10-`12 minute drive to downtown Ashland.

This funky little space sits tucked in the Siskiyou Mountain Range very near Ashland, Oregon. The secluded location feels like a wooded retreat but it is very close and convenient to downtown Ashland.
The space is unique and has some fun quirks that might not be for everyone. You'll need to climb stairs to the lofted bed where the ceiling is low making it feel cozy. However, the space is clean and provides a nice escape. There is a separate private entrance from the main house, access to cedar sauna, and an outside couch to relax on and listen to the birds chirp and the chickens crow.
We are just outside of Ashland Oregon (3 min drive to downtown) and the end of a private road and surrounded by nature.

  • Adam’s home is definitely one of the more fun and unique spaces I’ve found on AirBnb. It was great! Everything was as described, and Adam’s communication was quick and courteous. He was flexible with an ever-shifting check-in time during our travels. The mattress is up in a small little cove, and makes the experience fun and cozy. The unit was clean and comfortable for two. It was a perfect, simple overnight stay, and just what we needed.

    Jake2018-07-28T00:00:00Z
  • Adam was a great host with a lovely space. The room is secluded—it's up a steep hill with unpaved roads—but still only a few minutes drive from downtown Ashland, which makes it the perfect location for folks who'd rather not be within the boundaries of the city. The room was clean, Adam was an incredibly responsive host, and the sauna was a relaxing surprise. Would absolutely stay here again!

My place is close to family-friendly activities and the city center. You’ll love my place because of the coziness, the location, and the people. My place is good for couples, solo adventurers, and business travelers.
The Cottage Suite is a romantic and cozy cottage creating a perfect getaway for two. The cottage is just steps from local restaurants that will please every palate, from fine dining to casual bistros and mouthwatering Thai, German, or Mexican fare… Visit the local boutiques, hitch a ride on the historic trolley tour, go hiking with the many trails all around Jacksonville, and enjoy strolling through the antique and art shops. End your afternoon with some local winetasting, and grab a bottle and head back to the cottage back patio with a wine barrel firepit, gardens, and water garden. Inside hosts a surprisingly large bedroom with a rather comfy king-sized bed complete with bamboo sheets and a down alternative comforter. The cottage is uniquely decorated with a bit of history, whimsy, and fabulous finds. The shower is a large walk in and made for two. Fireplaces are located in the bedroom and the living room for warmth or some extra ambiance. The kitchenette is quaint but mighty, and appointed with everything you need to prepare a light meal. The local market features home cooked tri tip right in front of you making it all to easy to grab and go and enjoy a home style meal without much effort. If you are coming for the famous Britt Music Festival, then you’ve come to the right place. Let us know and if you don’t want to walk the 5 minute walk we will gladly pick you up and bring you back again. We are happiest when our guests are happy.

  • We absolutely loved our stay in both of Deanna's listings. The homes were clean, and charming. Deanna was very responsive and "nice" to deal with. The owners of the home Wendy and Brian were lovely as well, they went out of their way to make our 3yr old feel right at home, by giving him buckets of toys to play with. Brian drives the trolley in town, and he allowed my Son to ring the bell. Fantastic hosts. EXCELLENT EXPERIENCE, would stay here again anytime.

  • We had a great time at Matt and Shelley's place. The house was clean, comfortable and the amenities were exactly as described. The kitchen is well equipped and has everything we needed to make our own meals. Matt and Shelley were communicative and responded quickly to our queries and needs. The house is ideal for a vacation to Crater Lake National Park and Lava Beds National Monument. We will definitely recommend this place to anyone looking for a vacation near Ashland, Oregon.

  • This is a charming and restful place. Although it is a working property the surrounding forest is beautiful and the view overlooking Ashland is amazing! Beds were very comfortable and everything was done to make out stay enjoyable. Although it was a 15 minute drive to town it was a beautiful trip and well worth the drive. Winery and chocolate factory near by. Terrific restaurants and of course the Shakespeare Festival make this a wonderful place to visit.

  • Matt is a gracious host who goes out of his way to accommodate. His place is beautiful and the hiking around the property is gorgeous. It was even better than I expected. Thanks, Matt. Great week in a beautiful spot.

  • Our family had a fabulous stay at Bear Hollow! There are so many opportunities for outdoor fun so close at hand here. And we LOVED waking up smelling the mountain air and feeling like we were out in the back woods. This really is a good sized space, which would work for a family or two couples, but would also be great for a romantic getaway! The deck that wraps around the apartment was an unexpected treat for morning coffee or relaxing at the end of the day. The kitchen was well appointed and had everything you could want to prepare food for a crowd. Truly a gem if you're looking to explore Ashland or Crater Lake area!

  • 'Retreat' is exactly the right description for this wonderful place! We loved the total silence (aside from a few birds saying good morning and good night), the beautiful view from the living room window, and the surrounding forest. While the winding road up the hill from Ashland might be daunting to some, we thought it was fun and scenic. Each spacious room has a very comfortable Queen bed, new linens, and its own full bathroom with new towels. One room has an extra window, and the other has a door to the wrap-around deck. Absolutely perfect for a family trip - everyone has their own space, but can hang out in the cozy living room and kitchen. (The kitchen was fully equipped and Matt generously stocked the fridge with several day's worth of drinking water.) Communication was friendly and responsive, and when we needed to add a 4th person for one night, Matt was happy to accommodate us. Overall - highly recommended, and 9 million times better than any hotel!

The “Art Studio” is a newly built 600 sq.ft. private apartment with panoramic views in a peaceful location just outside the city of Ashland in farm country. Open fields with farm animals, birds, and other wildlife surround us. It takes approximately 8 to 12 minutes (4.2 miles) to drive to parking in the center of Ashland. Our location offers easy access to Oregon Shakespeare Festival, fine restaurants, wineries, hiking, biking, and other outdoor activities.
The “Art Studio” has a queen size bed and a firm full size pull out sofa bed. The kitchen has a full size refrigerator, microwave oven, convection toaster oven, double burner hot plate, coffee maker and electric teakettle. It is fully stocked with the essentials, but we are right next door so are happy to loan anything from our kitchen that you might need. The studio walls also feature abstract art and photography that are offered for sale. The space is bright with large windows and 9 ft ceilings, taking full advantage of our amazing panoramic views. We are on the east side of the valley directly facing Mt. Ashland. The studio also views the west to enjoy gorgeous sunsets from inside the living room or outside on your private patio adjacent.      The “Art Studio” is attached to our Earth Advantage Platinum rated Net-Zero home. We generate all of our electricity through our on site solar panels. The house is very energy efficient and sustainable.
We are just outside of Ashland in pasture land with wide open views of the mountains and the Rogue Valley.
  • L'appartement est parfait, flambant neuf et décoré avec goût, à la fois proche d'Ashland et au milieu des montagnes ! Mention spéciale pour le coucher de soleil sur la petite terrasse et pour la réactivité de Bobbie !

  • My boyfriend and I really enjoyed staying here at Bobbie and David's place! It's a beautiful location and they had everything set up for us really well!

  • Splendid country retreat just minutes away from Ashland! The home is surrounded by farmland and pastures with livestock; although you could hear them, the horses nickering and cows mooing did not bother us. We loved the beauty, peace and quiet the accommodations offered. The space was bright and open with plenty of room. Evenings spent on the patio were breezy and the sunsets were beautiful. The bed was very comfortable. Bobbie was a gracious and welcoming host. Would definitely stay here again.

    Yvette2017-07-25T00:00:00Z
  • Wonderful place to stay while visiting the beautiful area of Ashland. I slept soundly as it's location is perfect for peaceful time in the country. This is very clean, and since I don't wear shoes inside our home I knew I'd be comfy! you will not be disappointed.

    Brown2017-11-16T00:00:00Z
  • My husband and I were beyond pleased with how wonderful this studio is. We were there during smoky outdoor conditions, and we were actually glad we had a good excuse to stay indoors and enjoy the place. It's completely clean, beautifully decorated (in a clean, sparse, tasteful way), so well-constructed, peaceful, well-equipped, and comfortable. We enjoyed watching the many goldfinches and other birds harvest seeds from the flowers planted outside, and we loved the pretty, pastoral views. Our hosts checked in with us a couple of times before our stay, to warn us of the smoky air, in case we wanted to change our plans. That was extra thoughtful. We loved this place!

    Kelly2017-09-08T00:00:00Z
  • Not to far from downtown Ashland, but beautifully secluded. Highly recommend if you're in town for the Shakespeare Festival.

    Cullen2017-05-07T00:00:00Z
  • The Art Studio is a beautifully conceived space in the country to the east of Ashland. You're away from any noise associated with city life, and traffic noise isn't a problem at all. Beautiful views abound through the windows in any direction you look. Nicely appointed with a full size fridge and enough plug-in amenities that you could create simple meals here. You are a few miles from the nearest grocery store (or convenience store) so plan ahead if you like your coffee/juice early. Bring breakfast ingredients if you do your own breakfast. Some slippers or cozy socks will keep your feet happy on the concrete floors!

    Jill2016-10-06T00:00:00Z
  • We felt extremely lucky to have snapped up a stay in Bobbie's brand new studio last-minute, right after it appeared. I expect the competition for it will be intense very soon, as it is singularly one of the nicest Airbnb set-ups I've ever seen. Thoughtfully designed and very well appointed, super-clean and very chic. The unit is energy efficient and designed to stay cool in the hot Ashland summers. It overlooks the beautiful valley toward Ashland on a serene country road, but less than 5 minutes to downtown. The location could not be more perfect. Bobbie and her husband David were exceptionally gracious hosts, looking after our needs and providing great local advice while giving us our privacy. We thoroughly enjoyed learning about their plans for this beautiful new property, which will become even more lovely with the addition of lavender gardens. I can't imagine staying anywhere else when visiting Ashland -- if Bobbie's place is open, book it while you can.

This freshly remodeled space is an acupuncture clinic Tuesday through Thursday and on the weekends it's the perfect oasis for you and your pet to restore and relax. Located right off of I-5 just 4 minutes from the Jackson Wellness Hot Springs and 7 minutes downtown to the Shakespeare Festival. The well water is delicious and safe right out of the tap. You can drive up to the front door and there are no stairs.
We do allow well behaved pets. We are close to the Ashland Dog Park and the Medford Dog Park. We live on 2.6 acres and our chickens run loose so we ask that you keep your dog on a leash when they are outside. We also have 2 sheep and 2 mules in our pastures and we do have space if you need to bring your equine/sheep/goat with you. Our pastures can be split into three spaces. Our mules would protect their sheep and themselves if strange dogs got into their pasture: for everyone's safety please keep your dog on a leash. Our pastures keep out most dogs but a determined dog could dig it's way in. The tub in your guest bathroom is a jacuzzi so I ask that you do not wash your pet in that bathtub as their hair could damage the motor. In our laundry room we do have a dog washing station and we also have running hot and cold water in the barn that we would be happy to make available to you. We have Wifi but not TV. We also ask that you do not leave a pet alone in the room but we do offer pet sitting when available. When available we are offering our home business services at 25% off Dancing Porcupine Acupuncture and classical fencing classes at Sala Bella.
We are located right off of #5 but once you close the windows and door (central air) it is amazingly quiet. If you enjoy relaxing with Koi fish surrounded by medicinal Chinese herbs this is the space for you. Take a jacuzzi tub in abundant and drinkable well water free of city water pollutants and enjoy a peaceful night's sleep.
  • Great new place for overnight and possibly longer. Clean, quick, and easy. The hostess was awesome, graciousand showed me the dog park and local cooperative. There are some nice touches. I would stay again and recommend. The jacuzzi tub is what drew me to this place. It definitely helped my back after the long drive from Sacramento. It is conveniently off I-5. It is very easy to get to downtown Ashland. I enjoyed the Chinese medicinal herbs smell. The view of the valley outside the door is very nice. There is a large fish tank for nice feng shui. There was a wooden desk for use. The bathroom was nicely furnished with natural and non chemical items I would use at home. There was a closet for use. They left a wine bottle out for me but I declined because I was driving the next day to Seattle. As I was the first guest, they will be adding the little touches. I got a tour of the upstairs, I don't believe there was full house access but not sure. There are 2 mules and chickens on their property so it has a down to earth country feel, not too close to Ashland but not too far. I wish all Airbnb rentals have a jacuzzi tub. The parking could easily fit a Class B RV. It is a grave driveway so I am not certain in winters. I did pass the place so there are 3 mailboxes on right side with a large pull-in and nearly first properties as you go away from I-5. A huge bonus is treatment by hostess at a very nice discount. I will definitely take advantage next time as I am all about eastern healings.

  • I have stayed here before so it is nice and simple. A comfortable room with a great hot tub. Very quick access off the I-5. It is above the traffic, nonfacing, and plenty of sound breaks so I don't never notice it. If you need anything, bowl, utensil, just let Louisa or Richard know. Louisa is a great acupuncturist if you need a treatment. Parking is easy, as is check-in.

    Jason2018-03-11T00:00:00Z
  • Louisa's place is spotlessly clean, very private, and wonderfully quiet and peaceful. I will most definitely stay here again next time I visit Ashland.

    Terry2017-11-28T00:00:00Z
  • Louisa was very accommodating! I loved the rural setting with her sweet animals. I had a great nights sleep in her comfortable bed and loved the large fish tank. The jacuzzi bathtub felt wonderful after walking around all day while visiting Ashland with my daughter..I will definitely book here again on another trip and would recommend it to others!

    Deb2018-05-21T00:00:00Z
  • Louisa was such a lovely hostess! Quick to respond to any questions we had. The room was nice, comfy bed and pillows. Loved the fish tank, they were fun to watch :) Our pup had a great time hanging out as well! Oh and close to town, only a 5 min drive it was great! Wonderful experience!

  • Beautifully appointed home, comfortable beds and gracious hosts. I would definitely stay here again. Accommodations were just as the description and pics showed. even better. We had one little glitch from Daniel that was probably a simple address mix up. Also, the owners were away when we had said we would be arriving. Thankfully the sweet guests whose door we inadvertently knocked on gave us the owners phone number and the owners drove back within a few minutes to welcome us into the main house.

    Nan2016-06-29T00:00:00Z
  • Everything went well. Parking is available but a bit tight. It is walkable but when it's 90 degrees out u may want a bike and there are bike lanes. There is a bus stop very close as well. The walk is along a busy highway but so are majority of other lodging options. Pedestrian friendly city.

LOCATION, LOCATION, LOCATION (plus a pool!). Shrews House is under new ownership and the rooms are completely remodeled. New wood floors, beautifully appointed furnishings, centrally located and a pool for those hot Ashland summer days.
  • Bruce's Airbnb operation is relatively new to Ashland, and I feel incredibly fortunate to have stumbled on it. Although the address is on Siskiyou Blvd, the Airbnb units are actually set back on a side street, creating space and quiet (not that Siskiyou is particularly busy anyways). The units are the *perfect* distance from Ashland's center (about 5 minutes) and conveniently right next nearby a Safeway. My unit was clean, quiet, comfortable, and charming. Bruce himself is just a fabulous host, and clearly has that "caretaker gene." When my reservation ended up not matching with my flight, Bruce made arrangements for me personally, and cared for my every need. I was gobsmacked. I'll never stay anywhere else in Ashland, and am happy to count on a new friend there as well. Thank you Bruce and all the best to you on your endeavor!

The Ranch is 7 minutes from downtown Ashland. It's coziness, privacy, quietness and surrounding beauty help to make it a retreat-like atmosphere. It has WiFi, cable TV: small. but full kitchen. See the milky way on a clear night, and have breakfast on the deck overlooking the hills in the morning. IMORTANT: read all rules in House Manual before emailing to book. Thank you.
The Guest Ranch may have horses on it from time to time. There is a solar heated pool which you are welcome to use (see pool rules first). There are gorgeous views of surrounding hills/mountains, beautiful starlit skies, birds, butterflies, and sometimes a deer or two, but mostly privacy.. IMPORTANT: ONLY the people who are booked are allowed on property. No additional people on property; this includes family members, friends or strangers! I'm strict concerning this rule. You will have a wonderful time here, but it is my private home. The suite has a large bedroom off the living area, with french doors out to the deck (no door separates the living room from bedroom) with bathroom and large walk in closet. There is a small but full kitchen with accoutrements, table and chairs and couch off kitchen area. French doors off kitchen lead out to the deck. There is another room adjacent to the living room attached by French doors that can be added to the apartment/suite for an additional $20 per night. It has a queen size sofa bed with topper. It is closed off when not requested for use.
My neighborhood is quiet and friendly. I'm 5 acres away from my nearest neighboor. The views here, no matter where you sit on the property, are spectacular. I love the valley, and the hills in the Spring are purple, dotted with poppies and bachelor buttons. Summer here is balmy but hot at times. We are close enough to town, but far enough away. Ashland is a wonderful Southern Oregon, college town full of culture, art, culinary delights and friendly people. I've lived here over 27 years and it just gets better every year. In your room will be a lot of brochures about Ashland and the surrounding areas. I'm a text away if you have questions.
  • My boyfriend and I really enjoyed our stay at Claudia's property. She was very welcoming and the house was spacious and comfortable. The scenery was beautiful and the spot very peaceful. Couldn't have been better!

  • Wow. Claudia was there to meet me with a warm welcome and the retreat space was even more lovely than the photos. The location is quiet and beautiful and the feeling you get is one of serenity. Everything you could possibly need or want is provided and you will not find a place more clean, artfully decorated, and relaxing. I left feeling calm, inspired, and thankful. This truly is a wonderful place to stay, with the proximity to Ashland being a nice bonus!

  • Such a great place to land while looking for homes for our move to the Ashland area. Lovely, serene surroundings, quiet and peaceful. Cozy place with all one (or two!) needs for a transitional stay. Thanks, Claudia!

  • We just moved to town and are looking for a permanent home--not always the most "fun" part of an out-of-state move. That said, it's been such a pleasure staying here on Claudia's beautiful ranch. She welcomed us so warmly and has been a fantastic host--easy to communicate with and very accommodating for anything we need. The setting is so beautiful and definitely helps keep the stress down during this transition! The space is comfy and super clean, nice and bright and perfect for our in-between homes needs. We will definitely recommend visiting friends and family stay here when they come visit!
