There are some lovely walks in the park, as well as an excellent cafe and shop. Midhurst itself is much smaller than Chichester but has some good shops and restaurants.”

“You can walk to this one in around 20 minutes. Turn right at the end of Carron Lane. At the roundabout go straight ahead. At the end of the road (The Spread Eagle Hotel is to your right) turn right. Bear left when you get to the end of the road (A286 towards Chichester) and the pub is a short way up on your left. Takeaway service available too.”
