“Knead is an artisan bakery and neighbourhood café. This bakery cafe offers baked bread, pastries and confectionery on-site, every day, using traditional techniques to ensure that customers get everything oven-fresh. The Knead bakery cafés offer a simple, but versatile menu that uses only wholesome, local ingredients served in a relaxed, rustic setting. Place to eat
“Built in 1929 to reflect the spirit of 18th century Venice, Casa Labia is the former Muizenberg residence of Count and Countess Natale Labia. Following a complete two-year restoration by the family, this much-loved national monument was opened to the public on 5 May 2010 as South Africa’s most exquisite multi-functional cultural centre. Casa Labia is home to Cucina Labia, which offers beautifully crafted menus to tempt you into the heart of this Italian home. Or stop by for tea and scones or cake, outdoors on the veranda with it's beautiful sea view, or indoors among beautiful artwork and ornate chandeliers and furnishings. This truly is a very special experience.”
