Try something different - stay in a traditional bamboo hut built next to the teak and fruit trees at Nan de Panna.
Phichanantt (Praw) and her American husband Greg are the most helpful, lovely, interesting to talk with and fun people! I had the best time at their place, stayed longer than what I had planed and ended up driving with them to the mountains :D The bamboo hut is really a little piece of art, it is so nice to wake up with the light shining through the little holes of the walls and hear the birds in the morning. The pink moscitos net super cute and my towel was folded like a lotus :) The entire resort is built with lots of taste and lights up at night with many small lamps all around. The restaurant is surrounded by great spots to hang out and read a book under the trees and you've got everything to keep you fit, between the free kayak (beautiful river!) and Greg who can bring you to a temple with many steps (my legs still hurt ;)). I also had the most delicious Thai breakfast in the morning. Their cook has truly some talent and I recommend to try some fish in the evening!
