Point of Interest
“Oval station is 10 minutes walk from my flat and is on the northern line. If you are going into the City or the West End, this is the line to take. Notable destinations on this line include Leicester Square, Camden, Bank and Old Street, and going south you have Clapham, Balham and Tooting. Note that the Northern line has two branches and splits at Kennington. If you want the West End be sure to take the Northern Line via Charing Cross, which usually means changing platform at Kennington. If you want to travel to the City of London (financial district) you need the Northern Line via Bank.”
