Lake
“Lake Danao is said to be the biggest and cleanest lake in Cebu. It is called the lovers lake, thanks to its serene romantic atmosphere. Renting a small boat which is good for two is a perfect opportunity for couples to get some quality time together. For larger groups there is a motor powered raft/boat called Sakanaw, that gives an hour cruise of the lake, and is good for up to 15 people. It has chairs and tables on it in case you bring drinks and snacks.”

Point of Interest
“The entrance to the cave is a small hole to get you underground. Inside the Timubo Cave lies the cold water of its cave pool up to about 6ft deep where you can swim to your hearts content and also visit the grotto. You will certainly be in awe of the stalactites and stalagmites that’s decorating the cave. ”

“It's wide stretch of beach line makes it look like a giant pool during the high tide. A low tide reveals its vastness added with the clear blue waters — it’s truly one of the most magnificent beaches in Cebu. ”

“The lake is also popularly labeled as the Lover’s Lake. For some obvious reasons, it is serene and has romantic appeal for couples or lovers to be at. You’ll be mesmerized by the tranquility of the place, which is harmonized by the singing birds on the trees and the gentle blowing breeze. The park is best not only for couples but also as a picnic area for families and friends. ”

“Santiago bay is a public beach in Camotes but I still kind of had the beach to myselve, well it’s way too peaceful for a public beach! This beach has sugary pristine white sand and a long shoreline especially during low tides .A line of carinderias (food stalls) are located meters away from the shore. A single order can cost you around P100-150, might sound a little bit pricey for a single meal but the food is good enough for 2-3 persons”

“Bakhaw Beach is an amazing white beach. Unlike the Santiago or Magudlong Beach, it is an uncrowded beach that offers a lot of privacy. There aren’t any restaurants, bars, floats, badminton court or anything like that. Just a white beach with several nipa huts for the shade. It is a perfect spot for a picnic and swimming, and also for snorkeling.”

“Paraiso Cave is an underground cave but sits in the middle of a private property. The water pool inside can be chest-level. Cold, clear and clean, three qualities that makes you want to go under and dive in.”

“It’s time to give yourself a break from all the hectic stuff you’ve been doing to survive the day. Why not got out of the city for a while? I’m pretty sure you’d rather inhale fresh breeze from nature than polluted city air. A day or two at the beach is certainly enough to unwind. Whether it’s summer or not, you deserve a vacation for all the hard work and effort you’ve been putting at work or in school. It’s time you reward yourself. Pack your things, prepare your swimming attire, and let me help you plan a weekend getaway. Beach persons will surely admire any beach they’ll stumble on, and even if you’re not a beach person, you’ll learn to love the Camotes Island. If you haven’t heard about this wonderful place, here’s a overview of the island.”

“LUNCH AT SAN FRANCISCO BAYWALK/AGORA After cliff diving I went for an early lunch in San Francisco Baywalk. A line of barbeque stalls are located across the baywalk. You can eat the barbeques with “puso” (hanging rice), famous Cebuano rice that is cooked inside a woven coconut leaves. A meal could cost you around P40.00-P60.00.On the other side of the baywalk is a wet and dry market where you could buy some fresh seafood and island souvenirs.”
