“I love their salads and burgers but their cheesy bacon fries are the best. In the summer on the weekends they host many events outdoors on the lawn from live music, beer and yoga all with local beers on tap. ”

“Palmer is a charming little town with loads of character! The historic homes and buildings are nostalgic. The Palmer Water Tower is somewhat of an icon in Palmer. If you enjoy history, I encourage you to take a peek at the Palmer Chamber of Commerce web page before touring our small town. In addition, we have some fun historical fiction books depicting the early settlement in Palmer located in the guest house, as well as other Alaskan books. ”

“we prefer Fred Meyer over Carr's, not just because of value, our new store now has a Murray's cheese Experience! (can you tell I love cheese?) with over 175 verities and the masters to guide your taste buds. for a small town that's pretty impressive, boars head café, Starbucks and many souvenirs. Fishing gear, bait, and they currently sell firearms in case you lost your musket. pretty much everything you would expect a chain grocer / retailer to have. Hours: 7AM- 12AM ”

“Looking for a good slice of pizza while visiting the Mat Su Valley? Look no further. They are only take out and delivery but so plan ahead. This pizza is delicious while watching the Matanuska River flow by or watching eagles soar. ”
