“The absolute best Pad Thai in Bangkok (or the world). A super busy street stall with seating inside where pad thai is prepared at super fast pace, a favorite of the old king (so they say), and a very rewarding delicious local experience. Very affordable”

“Brown Sugar Bangkok is a celebrated blues and jazz club featuring live music, and serving cocktails and Thai and international cuisine. Brown Sugar features live music from Tuesday to Sunday and has seen some of Thailand's most famous acts perform on its stage, including Tissue Paper and Attention Please from The Voice. Music starts from 21:00, but the bar fills up with music lovers earlier. The first set is usually acoustic, followed by something funkier and more upbeat as the night goes on. ”

“In a cosy double shophouse on a quiet road that visitors don’t really frequent you will find one of the best restaurants in Bangkok. Seven Spoons is so popular that it's recently expanded, but still has the warm atmosphere and large portions of Mediterranean and vegetarian food regulars are familair with and first-timers will be excited by. It now opens for lunch and offers sandwiches alongside its hearty mains.”

“Experience the unique taste of authentic, home-cook style Thai food. Every dish by our expert chef comes with full and fresh ingredients, herbs and spices, to relish your crave for aromatic, tasty Thai recipe. Plus, it comes in friendly price. Decorated in a colorful retro style, this 60 year old traditional Thai house is the setting for one of Bangkok's hidden gems, and is an excellent spot for a romantic sunset dinner. It is tough to find and a bit far out, but well worth the effort, as Steve's Cafe and Cuisine serves up good Thai food in a great setting, right out on the Chao Phraya River in a spot well away from the crowds. The menu is Thai, and in fact "Steve" the owner is a Thai too. While the dishes are toned down for tourist palates, they are still tasty. It's a relaxed place in a quiet setting, and one of Bangkok's more enjoyable riverside spots. The fabulous views of the Rama VIII Bridge at sunset and the lovely traditional old Thai home that the restaurant is housed in also enhance the experience.”

“Mont Nom Sod is a cafe that specialised in toasts and milk that is situated at level 2 of MBK Center (Mah Boonkrong). The outlook of the cafe is not exactly impressive but don’t be fooled by their simple interior design. It looks our typical Singapore’s Ya Kun or Toast Box and the price is really economical as well, at about 23 baht per slice of toast bread. Opening from 14:00 to 23:00 daily.”
