“This is our favourite of the black sand West Coast beaches - you can also easily check it out on the way to Piha or Anawhata (they all divert off the same main road). As well as the awesome beach, there's a cool waterfall a short walk up the road that you can also swim in.”

“In summer months enjoy a game of Lawn Bowls. This friendly club welcomes all to enjoy. They are also the main live music scene for local bands and travelling international guests. Has meal options available to suit the travel budget. These are hearty and simple, and washed down with beers and organic wine from the clubs bar. A great place to chill out and meet some of Piha iconic characters and share stories. Kid friendly as well. ”
