“Apparently, this stall is famous for their ‘asam pedas udang galah’. Look at these freshwater prawns. They are gigantic! There are other dishes on the menu and they are sold à la carte. They include ikan pari (stingray), ikan kembong (mackerel), ikan siakap (seabass) and daging tetel (minced meat), all prepared asam pedas-style. Dataran Kuala Kubu Bharu is easy to spot. If you come by this area, you MUST stop by for lunch.”

“This shop is located at Jalan Dato Muda Jaafar at the town centre and has been in operation since 1979. The kaya puffs are the most sell-able here and on weekends or public holidays, most of them will be snapped out by noon. Call up to pre-order if you do not want to be disappointed. The price per piece is RM1.”
