This magical experience starts in our meeting spot in our town Chemuyil, where we will get ready for our adventure. My town is located: -20-25 mins approx. from Tulum (downtown) -35-40 mins approx. from Playa del Carmen (downtown) -2 hrs. approx. from Cancun (downtown) If you don’t have a car, or don’t know how to get to this place, please feel free to contact me to get more recommendations on transportation you can use. This is a LOCAL EXPERIENCE. You will get to know, not only these cenotes that have seen us grow up, but places with a lot of meaning to us. We will ride on our bicycles through our hometown making our way to three different cenotes around our community. Physical wear with the bicycles is minimum. We spend most of the time in the water. Riding the bicycles will be, 20-25 mins(total). Distance from cenote to cenote is 5-10 mins. If you are looking for a fancy activity, something fast, big company tours, this is DEFINITELY NOT FOR YOU. Instead, if you want to experience our hometown, our cenotes, having adventures, talk to us, share stories and making new friends while getting to know about our project, then you have found the perfect experience for you. En nuestro lugar de paz “Temazcal y Masajes Pixan” somos un equipo de personas mostrando nuestra cultura, todos son bienvenidos a nuestro espacio Con el apoyo de nuestros compañeros les damos la bienvenida y los llevamos a un lugar de descanso (palapa) y explicamos el proceso del Temazcal, y como lo hacían nuestros antepasados. Calentamos las piedras con leña, Usamos copal e incienso, medicina para el equilibrio de la energía que limpia antes de entrar al Temazcal desde ese momento experimentas una conexión espiritual. Después, entramos al Temazcal y nos sentamos alrededor del ombligo. Luego se emergen las piedras de origen volcánico previamente calentadas, que emiten vapor cuando rociamos agua con infusiones de plantas sanadoras encima de las abuelas piedras. El lugar se vuelve muy cálido mientras, a través de cantos y rezos, los participantes llegan a un contacto consigo mismos y aprenderemos la importancia de la palabra, el silencio y la fuerza de los cantos. Se realizan 4 puertas (4 tiempos) dentro del ritual, en los cuales entre cada uno se abrirán las puertas para bajar la temperatura y el ingreso de nuevas abuelas piedras. Al terminar salimos y nos duchamos en el jardín con una regadera rustica, el agua purifica nuestro cuerpo. Después disfrutamos abundantes y variadas frutas, agua de clorofila y delicioso guacamole ;)

Ancient culinary techniques, fresh ingredients, tortillas made from scratch, flavors of our traditional Mexico, everything is set and carefully curated for a cultural and gastronomical immersion to the deepest traditions and roots of our Mesoamerican civilizations. In a beautiful Mexican-style house, surrounded by gardens, our Culinary Experience starts off with a brief, yet quite informative, introduction to the essential flavors and ingredients of Mexican cuisine We will also do a mezcal tasting so you can learn how to identify a good one! Then, moving on to the unique experience of preparing an authentic Mexican meal from scratch! We try to always use traditional utensils, like metate and molcajete, to have a real cooking experience. Many of the dishes you will learn and help cook come from my own family’s cookbook. By the end of the class, we sit down in one table to share the food and the experience itself! This all happens in an ambiance full of joy, music and laughter, recreating the sense of fellowship and warmth of cooking at home with friends.

À l'arrivée, nous prendrons les mesures sanitaires qui ont été approuvées par les secrétariats mexicains du tourisme et de la santé au moyen de certificats à vue. Nous partirons avec le guide désigné du point de rendez-vous à Akumal Natura Glamping. Nous visiterons ensuite un refuge de faune et de flore sauvages. Vous découvrirez les plans de réhabilitation, de reproduction et de réintégration des plus de 85 animaux d'espèces différentes que nous hébergeons. Vous aurez une rencontre très rapprochée avec divers animaux. Conformément aux directives des Nations Unies concernant le bien-être des animaux sauvages, il n'y aura pas d'interaction directe avec eux. Vous pourrez vous rapprocher suffisamment et vous apprendrez avec les explications sur chacun d'eux. Vous pourrez connaître l'arbre toxique, l'arbre médecin, l'arbre à gomme et autres. Vous planterez un arbre dans la jungle améliorant ainsi votre empreinte écologique. Vous rencontrerez l'abeille melipona sans dard et vous pourrez déguster son miel et en apprendre un peu plus sur la pollinisation et la vie et les coutumes de cet insecte récemment déclaré par l'ONU l'être vivant le plus important de la planète. Après la visite, nous commencerons un petit voyage le long d'un chemin dans la jungle jusqu'à atteindre un magnifique cenote souterrain à 200 mètres où vous pourrez plonger et nager dans ses eaux illuminées et cristallines.

Apres un trajet de plus de 8km au milieu de la jungle, on s'immergera dans un systeme de grotte et de rivieres souterraines pour une exploration guidé, traversant les formations rocheuses les plus surréalistes. Casques bien vissés sur la tete, chaussures d'eau et combinaisons néoprene bien ajustés, nos lumieres transperceront l'obscurité et le silence pour laisser place a un monde aussi ancient que magique. La visite dans la grotte se ponctuera par une piscinne naturelle magnifique, le temps pour nous de découvrir le paysage sous marin avec des masques et tubas. Nous nous remettrons de nos émotions et partagerons autour d'un repas de spécialités locales cuites au feu de bois pendant visite. Avant de reprendre la route vers la ville, vers ses lumieres et son bavardage incessant, une petite siesta dans un Hamac ponctuera notre experience dans la Jungle de la peninsule du Yucatan et le secret de son monde souterrain . Nous prenons la route pour visiter un des plus beau marché de fruits et légumes de la région. Nous allons explorer le centre d'une ville coloniale et après nous serons en route vers un village Maya haut en couleur et perdu de la civilization. Nous serons accueilli par nos amis d'une vrai famille Maya. Nous visiterons leur maison, leur jardin et plein d'autres endroits. Ensuite nous allons cuisiner, avec l'aide de la grand-mère maya, des recettes ancestrales, nous ferons des tortillas de maïs et plein d'autres spécialités. Nous mangerons tous ensemble et finirons la journée avec un plongeon dans un magnifique cenote. Nosotros; Martín y Melqui somos guías locales, qué crecimos desde niños en esta pequeña comunidad. Para nosotros es un privilegio llevarte a hacer snorkeling y nadar con tortugas blancas, verdes, con suerte peces de colores, arrecife de coral, rayas, calamares, y barracudas. Your tour commences at the ferry pier in Cozumel downtown. On the way to the reef you will be explained how to enjoy more your visit, the basics of snorkeling, what to do and what not to do during the tour. We make a short stop at the Paradise Beach pier to board passengers, then will sail to the world famous Palancar reef for a 45 minute guided snorkeling adventure. After snorkeling, we will sail to the calm waters of the sandbar at El Cielo, a natural wonder where the sea is cobalt blue, crystalline and shallow with the tropical jungle as a background, the ocean bottom is all powder sand; you can relax and enjoy this unspoiled location for about 45 minutes. The next stop is at the private beach to enjoy included non motorized aquatic toys such as ocean trampoline, floats, kayaks, etc. lunch on the beach based on one delicious cheeseburger per person made out of imported beef and a bag of potato chips; unlimitednsodas, purified water, margaritas, and draft beer are included too.
