“The Georgi on the Battenkill Community Park and Museum is nestled along the river in Shushan, NY, just west of the Vermont Border. The Battenkill wraps around the property, surrounding the lush lawns and beautiful gardens. The Community Park hosts many public events as well as private affairs and weddings. The Mettawee River Theater Company, Hubbard Hall, and Washington County Band have performed in the Community Park. The Georgi Museum is currently exhibiting Medieval and Renaissance Italian Panel Paintings, as well as the Georgi Gems and Minerals, featuring over 25 rare samples. The Georgi is a New York State Fishing Access Point, and fly fisherman are often seen wading and casting. ”
