“How many cities can say they have a huge park in the middle of their downtown? (Well, besides NYC...) This park is beautiful, well maintained. In the spring you can watch the river flow at its greatest as you take in the fresh air. The Ice Palace is fun for ice skating in the winter, and in the summer they have rides there. Also the Imax theater is in the heart of this park. Don't miss the clock tower and the Big Red Wagon! ”

“The wandering table is where you go for a fancy small plate (a la carte) dinner, or just for some fresh clams/oysters. You won’t be disappointed in the quality, just be prepared to spend $50 per person before drinks for a full meal.”

“Also a Spokane staple is Durkin’s Liquor Bar. Having bars on both levels, including a speakeasy style underground bar/lounge area. Specializing in Craft Cocktails, a good-sized food menu does not disappoint. Dinner with drinks will cost about $30-$40 a person”
