This is a small cabin. It has a small but ample bathroom and kitchen. A full size bed on the main floor and a full size sleeping pad in the loft. Even though it s small in size it is very clean and cozy.
If you have ever heard of the tiny house movement this is it. People that love the outdoors love this cabin.
This is a quiet neighborhood. With a modern country store that is known for its first class baked goods, sandwiches, beer and Pizza Night. The Happy Hour at the Freestone Inn is also great. If you want some good music & great beer try The Old School House Brewery in Winthrop. Bikes can be rented in Mazama at the bike shop or store.
  • Super espace.

This cozy modern cabin is in the heart of Mazama at the edge of the Pasayten Wilderness, just 6 miles from the wonderful Mazama store and minutes from hiking and ski trails. Part of the small Lost River community, the cabin is easily accessed just off of Lost River Road. The cabin is close to the road so it is not secluded, but it is the "end of line" for Mazama and the Methow Valley. The road ends just north of the cabin so the area remains fairly quiet.
The well appointed kitchen is the focus of the cabin with stools around the center island for meals. The kitchen opens to a comfortable living room perfect for playing cards or resting and relaxing after a ski or hike. Bedroom 1 is on the main floor and has a queen size bed, closet and spacious dresser with a small private porch off the back door. The bathroom has a bathtub and shower and is on the main floor just off the living room. Bedroom 2 is accessed via an outside staircase with its own private entrance off an outside deck featuring a seating area and wonderful view. There is no WiFi and depending on your phone carrier, you probably won't have cell service at the cabin (but can get it when you're near the Mazama store or in Winthrop). There is a landline at the cabin for emergencies and local calls. The cabin is pet-friendly and welcomes up to 2 dogs per visit.
The Mazama Unplugged Cabin is part of the Lost River Airport Association, a small community located in Lost River - 6 Miles up Lost River Rd from the popular Mazama Store. Mazama is a small, special community in the northern most region of the Methow Valley. It is quite literally the end of the road as it is where Highway 20 closes in the wintertime. It is a small special community of people close to amazing hiking, beautiful rivers, and great skiing.

Kick back after a fun day on the Mountain. Relax in the hot tub, sit by the fire, or just admire the scenic Mountain views. Maybe treat your self to a aromatherapy bubble bath. Great space for 6 with the hide-a-bed fits 8.

Whatever the season, Skytop is the ideal base for your Methow Valley adventures. This rustically modern, wheelchair-friendly cottage feels remote, yet downtown Winthrop is a mere quarter-mile away. The new second-story Treehouse Suite (which rents for an additional $100 a night paid directly to the owner) features a gas fireplace and freestanding tub, allowing a second couple or generation to enjoy their privacy while sharing Skytop's kitchen, dining and entertainment space. (Sorry, no pets.)
The main cottage was completed in 2014, and a second bedroom -- the elegant Treehouse Suite -- added two years later. Skytop features recycled bowling-lane countertops, gas fireplace and patio barbecue, an extensive library and DVD collection, high-speed Wi-Fi, and even a resident celebrity: 'Sue', a replica of the Field Museum's famous T-Rex. The kitchen includes a gas range, microwave and dishwasher. The home is wheelchair-accessible, with minimal thresholds, wide doorways and a roll-in shower. The separate Treehouse Suite features a gas fireplace, freestanding tub and breathtaking second-story views. Skytop guests may rent the Treehouse for an addition $100 per night, paid directly to the owner. Skytop is close to great shops and restaurants, fly fishing, rafting, hiking, climbing, birdwatching, hot-air ballooning and 138 miles of mountain bike and cross-country skiing trails.

Beautiful, sun-filled, comfortable mountain chalet. It is a relaxing, open gathering place with gourmet kitchen, three comfortable bedrooms, large stone fireplace, hot tub and wrap around deck for outdoor living.
The chalet-style mountain home is located near the town of Plain, approx 14 miles north of Leavenworth and 5 miles from Lake Wenatchee State Park. It is available for nightly or weekly stays. It has 3 comfortable bedrooms (two upstairs with queen beds, and one master room downstairs with a king). 1 and 3/4 baths as well. Can sleep up to 8 comfortably with the leather Eurolounger in the living room. It has a beautiful gourmet kitchen with gas stove, vaulted ceiling, and open space living plan. There are granite countertops throughout, heated bathroom tile flooring, large wrap-around deck, fireplace, wireless internet, 52" plasma TV with DVD player, Hot tub, and Apple TV and stereo.

The Tiny House may be tiny, but she be fierce! It is packed full, inside and out, with all the things you need for a lovely unplugged stay in the North Cascades. Wake up to birds singing, take your coffee outside on the large wraparound deck and breathe in the fresh mountain air. After a day exploring, come back to enjoy a drink and some sort of treat you may have picked up from the Mazama Store. Please be aware that there is no WiFi! And you may not have cell coverage.
How to describe this space? Utterly dreamy. From the wraparound porch to the faux fur covered futon lounge area in the loft to the 150 year old cast iron bed to the heated floor in the bathroom - you will fall in love. It’s warm and cozy, but be warned, there is no internet and very sparse cell coverage. All the better for getting in touch with nature. We have a small tv and DVD player. If you are a movie buff, download your movies on your device before heading to the mountains.
The Lost River Tiny House is 7 miles up Hart’s Pass Road from the famous Mazama Store. It is located in the Lost River Airport Association, so you pilots can fly in. How cool is that? From here, you are right at the entrance to the Pasayten Wilderness and all the trails your heart can handle. If you enjoy snowmobiling, Yellow Jacket SnoPark is a mile away.

This brand-new light-filled home is the perfect escape. Artemisia is within walking distance of the cafes, restaurants, and shopping of Winthrop but feels miles away. After an active day of skiing, hiking, fly fishing, or just relaxing, you can kick back and take in the expansive views of Mount Gardner. Have dinner at one of the many nearby restaurants or stay in and take advantage of the well-stocked kitchen with induction range. It's a peaceful, laid-back gathering place.
Artemisia is the first zero-energy, solar-powered vacation rental home in the region. Over the course of the year, it produces enough clean electricity from the sun to meet all of its energy needs. It features polished concrete floors, ultra-efficient heat pump heat, hot water, and clothes drying, and panoramic vistas of the Methow Valley and snowcapped Mount Gardner through triple-pane windows. Non-toxic and earth-friendly finishes, such as zero-VOC paint, Paperstone countertops, natural limestone tile, all-natural latex mattresses, and cork flooring ensure excellent indoor air quality. A state-of-the-art air-handling system brings a gentle flow of fresh air to every room of this super-insulated home. Please note that the second-floor bedroom is loft style, with a solid half-wall balcony that overlooks the living area below. The home is most comfortable for six or fewer adults, although groups of eight have stayed on occasion. The master bedroom has a bonus loft space with a full-size futon, where the seventh and eighth person would sleep. It has a balcony that overlooks the master bedroom below and can be accessed via a ladder in the master bedroom or via the main staircase.
The Methow Valley is truly a year-round destination. Artemisia is just a short walk (or an even shorter drive or bike ride) from the funky Old West town of Winthrop, where you will find wooden boardwalks, gourmet and family dining, an award-winning brewery, and rushing rivers and creeks at almost every turn. With over 200 kilometers of groomed, interconnected trails, surrounded by more than a million acres of wilderness and forest lands, the Methow Valley is a winter wonderland like no other. In the summer, enjoy hiking, rafting, horseback riding, mountain biking, or check out the local art scene.

The cabin is on 10 acres. It is located in the beautiful Twisp river valley with wildlife all around. It is a rustic cabin with all the conveniences of home. This is a great get away place for a family looking to explore the outdoors, or hunting parties during the hunting season. You can hike, mountain bike, fish, hunt, river raft, atv, snow-machine, and ski. Just 15 minutes from the town of Twisp and 20 minutes from the Winthrop. This is a great place to play any season of the year.
When you arrive at the cabin there will be a circle drive for you to park several cars as well as recreational vehicles and small RVs you may bring. There is a "opening up the cabin" and "leaving the cabin" instructions on the main table in the cabin. It will give you the info you need for using the cabin. and bunkhouses. This is a rustic cabin with the warm log cabin feel, "but it is not a 5 star hotel".
The cabin is surrounded by trees and wildlife. The peace and quiet is refreshing. You can head up Newby Creek past our cabin to the national Forest Rd and explore for miles on ATV, mountain bike, or horseback. It is a recreation wonderland!

Historic 120-year-old homestead log cabin. Recently refurbished. Surrounded by nature on 50+ acres. 360 degree views. Few modern conveniences but lots of peace & calm. Main floor 20’ x 30’. Wood stove. Furniture made from lumber milled on the homestead. Sleeping loft with 2 beds, 1 queen, 1 double, dormitory style. Deck overlooking the valley & mountains. Composting toilet. No running water (so no shower or tub) but a washing station and fresh water from a deep artisan well provided daily.
This beautiful cabin was built in the late 1800's by the Duncan family. It has served as home, barn and garage. We completely rebuilt it in 2013/14 yet most of the log walls are original. An ideal experience for individuals seeking true interaction with nature, living like the homesteaders that first built here (well, a few more conveniences than they had). The main floor is 20' x 30' and wide open. There is a nice wood stove for heat and cooking. A one burner countertop stove. Table and benches made from wood we milled from trees right on the homestead. Other antiques of the period adorn the room as well. The sleeping loft has a double bed, a queen bed (dormitory style; no walls between beds), and a comfortable sitting area. Wash basin and towels provided. Cooking equipment provided includes pots, pans, small microwave, small refrigerator, eating utensils, plates, bowls, cups. Some electricity but limited. The cabin is not plumbed but fresh well water is available. A new composting toilet is on the upper deck.
The White River Valley is spectacularly beautiful and considered to be one of the most pristine areas in the Columbia River Drainage System. The paved road is about 6 miles long, followed by about the same distance on gravel. At road end there are several trailheads, one of which takes you to Glacier Peak, near where the White River starts. Most of the land in and around the White River Valley is public land, mostly National Forest. We have four distinct seasons and each has its special features. We get lots of sun, and a good percentage of our precipitation is the form of snow. For a valley deep in the wilderness, there is a long and rich history. Ask us and we may just tell you a story or two (we have even written an historical novel based in this valley and in this cabin -- available to purchase here or online).

At the head of Lake Chelan lies the unique community of Stehekin, Washington, accessible by the Lady of the Lake ferry service out of Chelan. Our cozy two bedroom, two bath cabin, surrounded by creeks and forest, is six miles up the valley from the boat landing. We pick you up and provide a vehicle during your stay. The perfect place to disconnect and unwind. The ferry boat is running on Sunday all winter and the Stehekin Pastry Company is open on weekends. Come join us!
The whole house is yours! It is two bedroom, two bath. One bedroom has a queen bed and the upstairs bedroom currently has a double bed, though we may change to twin beds by summer 2020. We also have a single cot that is stored in the closet of the downstairs bedroom. This works either on the screened porch or can be set up in the upstairs living/family room. Our price is for four people. The upstairs bath is connected to the upstairs bedroom and has a delightful soaking tub. The downstairs bath has the shower. The kitchen is completely furnished, including extras such as a toaster, coffee maker (coffee provided) blender, waffle iron, crockpot, stewpot, teapot and some teas, etc. There is a living/family room upstairs with a TV AND DVD player for movies, some games and puzzles. It currently has a futon-type sofa, though it does not open into full bed, but is comfortable for one person for sleeping on. There are lots of books in the downstairs living area about the history of the valley for your reading enjoyment and education. It is amazing how much history there is in this small, secluded valley. Our cabin is up-valley from the landing, away from the hustle and bustle during the high tourist season. But with the provided vehicle, you are only minutes away from everything there is to do in the valley during the summer. There are many activities available including kayaking, hiking, horseback riding, exploring the historic areas in the valley, swimming in a cold lake, picnicking. A guidebook will be available in the cabin to help you, but we are available to answer questions. In the winter you will enjoy the peace and quiet of a snowy wood and creek. You can snowshoe or ski right out the front door. There are good places to explore close by or drive to. The squirrels can be seen running over the snow looking for food. On full moon winter nights it is almost as bright as day and wonderful for taking walks!! Winter is enchanting here. You will love it! Especially since the Stehekin Pastry Company will be open on the weekends this winter. We are so excited!
This two bedroom, two bath, fully furnished cabin is 3-1/2 miles from the Bakery; six miles from the Stehekin Valley Ranch going up the road and 6 miles from the boat landing and the Lodge Store going down the road; two miles from the Buckner Orchard and Rainbow Falls; one mile from Harlequin Bridge, 1/2 Mile from the PUD Powerhouse; 3/4 mile from the airstrip. But we are surrounded by 62,000 acres of the Lake Chelan Recreation Area, which is Federal land managed by the National Park Service, and many trails. Bring a bike, rent a bike, or use our provided vehicle. There is also a Valley shuttle from April 1 through October 15 that can take you anywhere between the Landing and High Bridge. ANNOUNCEMENT!!! Stehekin Pastry Company is going to be open weekends at boat time this winter. We are so excited and hope you will want to come and share in the yumminess! The Boat Company will be running a Sunday boat all winter as well, so it will be easy to plan a two night getaway over the weekend.

The dramatic loft interior includes exposed beams, incredible natural light, and hand-crafted details. A car is provided for your use in Stehekin.
The all new cabin interior features a chef's kitchen with a brand new refrigerator, gas range, microwave, and dishwasher. The kitchen is furnished with dishware, glasses, and cookware. Note that there is no internet and no cell phone coverage in the Stehekin Valley.
Stehekin is one of the most remote villages in North America, accessible only by boat, plane, foot, or horse. The scenery is dramatic, with soaring waterfalls, towering snow-capped mountains, and a rushing glacial river. The small community is wonderful and inviting. During high season (May-Oct) you can dine at the Stehekin Pastry Company, The Stehekin Valley Ranch, or the National Park Lodge at Stehekin Landing. Or, visit Karl at the Stehekin Garden and pick up fruit, veggies, goat cheese, and honey to cook at the cabin. Be sure to bring other food and drinks with you when you arrive, and note there are no restaurants open in the off season.

At the head of Lake Chelan, Tupshin Mt. house is a craftsman-built straw bale house. Very comfortable and fun for active families or small groups to call home while exploring the natural wonders of the Stehekin valley and the North Cascades National Park. Tupshin mountain fills the outside view from the living room, while an abundance of cool and organic mountain culture craftsmanship and cozy homeyness fill the inside.

Public passenger ferry access is every day in the summer months, leaving from Chelan on the 55 mile long journey up lake, making one stop at Fields Point dock and parking lot which is the most common place for visitors to board the boat. Summer hiking trails also afford a unique arrival to the remote village, averaging 20+ miles, and requiring a steady trot for the trail runners, or an overnight for hikers wishing to camp in numerous amazing locations on the way in.
Bob offers free sailing for all guests if salts are willin' and the wind blows fair, aboard 30' Junk rigged dory schooner Ipsut, at anchor just minutes from the house. The house and yard are all theirs, with bob and Tammy very near for support and questions. Bob's is in and out of his shop in support of his work, but will not make noise when guests are around. Tupshin Base is on the main road, mile 1.4 at the head of the lake, next door to the Garden where goat cheese and fresh vegetables and other farm products are available

Recommande vivement cet endroit!

    Grant And Kaity2018-08-08T00:00:00Z

The health and safety of our guests, homeowners, and employees is our number one priority. Many of our vacation rentals minimize person-to-person contact with private amenities and entry via smart locks or lockboxes. Plus, each reservation is backed by 24/7 customer support and expert cleaning in line with current CDC guidelines.
Deepwater Cabin is a solid timber framed structure built into the mountain side on the edge of the National Forest in a true, remote wilderness area. It is one of the very last waterfront dwellings up-lake, to the Northwest, that is still accessible by car. The cabin's grass- and fern-covered sod roof blends into the vegetation of its perch on a rocky point surrounded by sparkling blue Lake Chelan waters. The location on a point gives expansive views up, down and across the lake. Deepwater is half an hours’ drive from Chelan, far from any town lights, so one can see countless brilliant stars on a typical clear night. Watch shooting stars under the Milky Way. In the day you will watch flocks of swallows swoop through the air catching insects, and osprey flying by, patrolling the shore for fish. To access the lake, a steep trail switches back through rocky terraces down to a solid, newly built stairway and dock. At the clear, deep waters edge, swimmers can launch into the refreshing blue depths. Boaters will have access to explore miles and miles of wilderness shoreline with a kayak, canoe or paddle board. Be aware that the lake access at Deepwater is very steep, so launching may be easier at the nearby 25 Mile State Park, a short paddle to the South. Inside, the cabin is classic, simple, and cozy, with big sunny windows and two double patio doors. The two wings provide a sleeping space and a living/dining area, with the bath and kitchen in between. The bathroom has a new washing machine and a shower with plenty of pressure; pure water pumped straight from Lake Chelan! There is a drying rack for your wet laundry, which solar drys quickly on a typical sunny blue sky day. The compact kitchen offers all major appliances offering all you need for great foodie meals, and the sunny, open patio is wonderful for reading, having meals and enjoying time together and an amazing place to chillax. A small gas grill awaits your steaks or brats, or the beautiful trout the fisher-persons in the party may bring up from the lake, where the big fish swim by the dock, hungry for worms. A very comfortable queen-size log bed will accommodate two, while the living/dining area features a brand new fold-out full-size sofabed and an older long sofa for lounging and sleeping, accommodating one or two extra persons. The cabin is most appropriate for a couple or small family, it can sleep up to four; ideally, family or close friends since there is little privacy here! It's best to bring your own sleeping bags for any more than two, since the linens provided are for the queen bed only. Please note: Deepwater is located on steep topography, not appropriate for unsupervised small children, but an extraordinary get away for adventurers and outdoor lovers ~ those who enjoy wilderness, silence, and simplicity. Be aware there is no internet available at this location, but there is a land line phone for emergency calls. Rattlesnakes, lynx, and mountain lions have been seen in the area, but are shy and eager to avoid people. Wild turkey and herds of deer are common. Beware the deer when driving South Lake Shore Road. The historic, scenic South Lake Shore Trail built in the 40s by the CCC parallels the lake shore and begins just a short walk away. Larger boats can be launched at Twenty-Five Mile Creek State Park, which is less than a mile from the cabin. Miles of Forest Service logging roads meander the hills just behind the property, providing access to National Forest lands for mountain bikers to explore the unparalleled wilderness beauty above the lake. The town of Chelan has good restaurants, fun shops, a great health food store, and plenty of local wine tasting. The region has many wineries and vineyards, so you may want to take a day to sample the local fare. One day of your visit can be spent on the Lady of The Lake, the local ferry, going up-lake to the remote community of Stehekin, which has a great bakery and access to amazing hikes in the North Cascades National Park. Another day trip nearby could be to Holden Village, a Lutheran Camp 12 miles up into the mountains, which also can be reached on The Lady of the Lake ferry. This is a playful, festive intentional community which is open to guests and provides meals and full accommodations in a village that was once a thriving copper mine. Deep Water Cabin is an ideal setting to explore and play in the water and mountains, relax and refresh, and soak in the bright sunny skies and the vast deep blue beauty of the lake. Come enjoy a getaway in gorgeous Lake Chelan! * Please note: Minimum renter age is 25 years old. This applies to all guests that will be occupying the unit with the exception of multi-generational families. A damage waiver, covering up to $2,000 of accidental damage to the property or its contents, is included in the cost of your reservation.

As local legend has it, Norman Rockwell's Scoutmaster built this cozy cabin. It sits in a forest, nestled among aspens and ponderosas. The 2.5 acre property has access to Nason Creek. 20 minutes gets you Stevens Pass! A 5 minute drive puts your toes in the sand of stunning Lake Wenatchee. The 15 minute drive to downtown Leavenworth follows the Wenatchee River and cliff faces, forests, and birds of prey dance out your car window the entire way. Centrally located to all of the area's fun.
Our space is quaint and cozy. The main room has an open kitchen, dining, and living room area. There is a separate bathroom/utility room and a separate master bedroom. The master bedroom has a comfy queen size bed and twin bunk beds (the bottom is trundle style, pulls out). The leather couch in the living room has a queen size memory foam bed. The property itself is expansive, sitting on 2.5 acres of forestland with hardly a neighbor near.
You can walk (or drive) across the highway to Squirrel Tree Inn (coffee shop, diner and bar/lounge included!), the 59er Diner, and a gas station well-stocked with essentials and snack foods. If you want to splurge for a night, Wildflour restaurant at Lake Wenatchee is incredible. Leavenworth has tons of gift shops, restaurants, grocery stores, coffee shops, bars, wineries, miniature golf, sleigh rides, guided raft and tube floats of the river, and so much more. When it comes to Leavenworth restaurants, we love Yodelin and South, but the options are endless. We are partial to Argonaut Espresso stand and Good Mood for Leavenworth coffee. There's lots of hiking trails just a short drive from the cabin, and both Fish Lake and Lake Wenatchee are nearby. Both lakes are great for fishing, boating activities, SUP, and kayaking. If you're into climbing, you've probably already heard tell of the world class granite and alpine in the area, but feel free to email or call us for some local climber tips. ; ) In winter, you can snow shoe or cross country around our 2.5 acres, right out the front door. Or, you can drive 5 minutes to groomed trails around Lake Wenatchee. If you're a ski bum, it's a 20 minute drive to Steven's Pass. If you're a beginner ski bum or with young kids, Leavenworth's Ski Hill is a deal.
