Forest
“Pour les macaques et les temples de la "forêt des singes" d'Ubud. Attention, n'oubliez pas que vous êtes simples visiteurs et que les singes sont des animaux sauvages et dangereux qui sont chez eux. N'achetez pas à manger pour eux et tenez vous à une distance de 2 ou 3 m d'eux pour que tout se passe bien. Si vous êtes mordus ou griffés allez chez le médecin sans attendre.”

Temple
“Goa Gajah, or Elephant Cave, is located on the island of Bali near Ubud, in Indonesia. Built in the 9th century, it served as a sanctuary. Although the exact origins of the cave are uncertain, it is believed to have been built as place for spiritual meditation.[2] One folklore relates that it was created by the fingernail of the legendary giant Kebo Iwa. However, examining its style, the sanctuary was probably dated from the 11th century Bali Kingdom. The complex contains both Hindu and Buddhist imagery, as the cave contains lingam and yoni, symbol of Shiva, and the image of Ganesha, while by the river there are carved images of stupas and chattra, imagery of Buddhism. The cave was rediscovered by Dutch archaeologists in 1923, but the fountains and bathing pool were not discovered until 1954”

“Tegenungan Waterfall Tegenungan is one of the few waterfalls in Bali that isn’t situated in the highlands or mountains. It is not really that tall, only approximately 15 meters high, so you can actually jump right into the waterfall (only after you pay your insurance). Tegenungan waterfall is unique for its lush green surroundings and heavy water flow, perfect for swimming and enjoying the fresh water.”
