“This 235' sea stack is a short drive from Seaside. This iconic rock has tide pools at the base of it and sea birds living on it. Take a walk down the beach and check it out. I like to park next to Mo's restaurant where there is a public parking lot and restrooms and walk down to the rock. Some days there are volunteers available with binoculars to help spot birds and to look for sea life at low tide.”

“Absolutely DELICIOUS! Crystal is the chef and her husband, Sean, along with his brood of brothers, offer the best service in town. This is a lovely way to celebrate a special something, even if that special something is simply that you're at the beach.”

“Quality baked goods, soup, and coffee. Plan on taking your beverage and scone to go, though; seating is limited. And don't miss the Cannon Beach Art Association -- same building -- to view the current art show or pick up cards or gifts.”
