“Great place where to take picture of Toronto Skyline. You can take public Ferry from Harbour Front ($7 for roundtrip) or take water taxi ($10 for one way but you can take public ferry back for free). You can take bicycle on the ferry or you can rent it at the island. There is also a cool sandy beach where you can swim in Lake Ontario. ”

Point of Interest
“One of the most popular beaches in the city, Hanlan's is known for being clothing optional. While you may opt to keep your clothes on, the adult nature of the beach means you can safely crack a can of beer without worrying about police or odd looks. Great place to hang out on a hot summer day. Note that there may be parties with loud music and many boats moored nearby, this is not a low-key spot.”

“Porter Airport is a five minute walk from my location. Don't worry, the sounds of the planes do not disturb you. ”

Theme Park
“A fun place to take the family. It is on the Toronto Islands, so you need to hop on a ferry to get there. There is a theme park with kids rides. (would say kids under 10 are best suited for this theme park)”

“You are in luck if you are arriving or taking off from the Billy Bishop Airport which is only a 10 minute walk south-west away. You can see the planes arriving from the unit's window (but you won't hear it).”

“On the east side of Toronto Island, take the ferry to the Ward's Island dock to start off in the more residential, quieter and less touristy part of the island. Ward's Island beach is located at the start of the boardwalk, next to a small playground with washrooms behind the soccer field. It's the least busy of the three main beaches of the island. The Rectory Cafe is our favourite spot on the island to enjoy a meal, and their lovely tree-covered patio looking out over Lake Ontario is dreamy to say the least. Walk along the south boardwalk along the lake or try out the disc golf course. There's even Stand Up Paddleboarding (SUP) in the Ward's Island lagoon. Rent a bike, kayak or canoe!”

“Available seasonally, you have to take a water taxi or ferry from the harbourfront. One of the best parks in all of Ontario. I highly recommend it for a day trip. Beaches, food, and even the commute to get there all worth while.”
