Our newly renovated private apartment is part of our family property in a quiet area of beautiful Tramore and is minutes from beach and town centre. Doneraile Walk, cliffs and sea views next to property. Private decking & BBQ area. Bicycles are available to guests. Air-conditioning for heat/cooling.
It's a one room apartment. There is a double bed and a couch which can be made into a single bed if required. Fully equipped kItchen/dining area and shower/bathroom.
Nice quiet neighbourhood close to the town centre but far enough away for it to be quiet even during the busier summer season. Well off the main road with Tramore tennis club within a stones throw of property. The Coastguard Station Coffee Dock is just a minutes walk away. There is also a pub, restaurant and convenience store just three minutes walk from the property

    Sophie2018-05-09T00:00:00Z
  • I had a single night's stay at Dermot's listing, and found it perfectly suited to my needs. Dermot and his family provided a warm welcome and provided some excellent dinner tips for nearby Tramore. The house also fronts directly onto the cliff walk, and the views are spectacular. The listing itself is perfect for a solo or couple, and is well fitted-out. Would definitely recommend.

    Richard2017-10-11T00:00:00Z
  • We really like the chalet, so cosy and new and with incredible views from backyard! Dermot and Jane were so lovely with us, Jane cooked for us irish biscuits :). For sure if we travel again around this area we will come back!

    Laura2016-09-12T00:00:00Z
  • I notice that many of the comments specifically mention Dermot's hospitality. Dermot was out of town during our 2-night stay so the focus here is Jane and the children, who were all wonderful, interesting and kind. We had a great stay in a great spot, with all our needs cared for, and pleasant little surprise extras.

    John2016-11-07T00:00:00Z
  • The hosts were very helpful and the location was perfect. We loved the view and how walkable the area is.

Cosy double bed room on ground floor in the home of two artists. There’s an ensuite wetroom. Less than a miles walk to our blue flag 3 mile beach. Swimming, surfing, kite surfing. We are ideally situated to explore historical Waterford City or to head west along our beautiful Copper Coast.
We are working artists and our home is also our studio. Our home is filled with art, much of it for sale. Feel welcome to browse. We have a second double bedroom which can be made available on request if there are more than 2 in your party. It's not listed separately as it's not as nice as the main room, but perfect for an overflow, or for a child/children. Price negotiable.
It's a mature quiet neighbourhood at the top of a seaside town. Downhill all the way to the beach. (Uphill back!) We are very close to 2 supermarkets. There's a farmers market at weekends close by.

  • We had a great time in Waterford and we would like to thank our host Ger and Cianan for their attention to our needs both in their home and areas in town we wanted to visit.

    John2016-05-31T00:00:00Z
  • Ger and Ciaran welcomed us with tea and a mini tour of the town, which we really appreciated, and meant that we got the most out of our short time in Tramore. Their hospitality accepted our level of jetlag and enabled us to sleep ... and leave on our own body clocks next morning, following a good breakfast we served ourselves. Home, bed and hospitality were warm. Thanks for opening your home and town to us - Helen and Sam.

  • What can I say about that lovely people, and amazing family. We felt so comfortable from the first time we arrived. They give us some food and huge breakfast without problem and the room was so clean and correct. The house is near center town and is an amazing town that i suggest to visit.

  • We stayed there only for one night and arrived quite late. But everything went very well. Communication was easy, the room comfortable and clean, and the host very friendly

The cottage is located just 200 meters from Tramore Strand, Surf Beach. The cottage is semi-detached, with a spacious garden, parking, & garden views to the beach. The cosy cottage has a fully serviced kitchen, fireplace (electric), storage heating, wooden floors, & double glazed insulated windows. Perfect for couples & families. Tramore has lots of amenities within walking distance, including cafes, restaurants, pubs, amusements, coastal walks, & much more. Just 15 minutes from Waterford City.
The cottage has fast wifi, smart TV with Netflix, and a Nespresso machine with aerocino to make yourself a cappuccino! The cottage is located in a holiday area resort, that is occupied by a mixture of full-time residents, rentals and vacationers. It is a very safe area, with parking on site.
Meaning “Big Strand”, Tramore is one of the most aptly named towns in the region, with its famous 5 km golden, sandy beach surrounded by the Atlantic Ocean, and one of the regions most popular resorts. Most of the traffic coming to Tramore comes from the Waterford City direction, but the most spectacular approach to this exciting resort is the route from Annestown and the coast road to the elevated western suburbs of the town. The panorama of Tramore Bay, broken by the peninsula, which carries the promenade and the strand, with the protecting arm of Brownstown Head beyond, is truly magnificent. The town itself is built on steep hills rising up from the beach. Tramore has been popular with holidaymakers for 200 years. In 1785 this one-time fishing hamlet was transformed into a thriving resort by Bartholomew Rivers, a wealthy Waterford merchant. Tramore has continued to grow and is now one of the leading resorts in Ireland, still charming first time visitors who vow to return.
  • Beautiful house, delighted with our stay and a great host :)

    Orla2018-05-13T00:00:00Z
  • Lovely little place and only a few 100 metres from the beach. Just what we were looking for. Thanks

    Derek2017-09-28T00:00:00Z
  • You can’t get much closer to the beach than Kate’s place! It was just as described and the perfect place for our family of four adults to stay for two nights. It was cozy and quiet, and made us feel at home. We appreciated her lovely sister Grace greeting us for checkin, and providing us with some local tips, as well as making us a dinner reservation for the evening. This spot was a great value and I’d recommend it for a couple of nights on the beautiful southern Irish coast.

    Daniel2018-05-05T00:00:00Z
  • Good value for money, close to the beach and local attractions, nice and warm, comfortable accommodation. It was a good base for us to spend a couple of days and explore regional tourist attractions.

    Gareth2017-09-23T00:00:00Z
  • Kate's house is perfectly described and a perfect fit for our family of four. We arrived during the start of Storm Brian, the house was cold as no heating had been turned on. Once we turned the heaters on, it started to heat the house soon. Next though, we got alarms from the electricity top-up meter. A message to Kate resolved this with a code, that gave some more credit. Although we nearly ran out of that the next morning. There were some issues with crockery not being cleaned properly from a previous visit. I have sent Kate a message about these issues and she has assured me these will be fixed in the short, mid and long term. I asked in that message about when the house was rented out and typically this has been Spring/Summer(but Kate had some inquiries/bookings all the way upto November for this year), if the weather is ok, you may not notice the cold as much as arriving in the Autumn/Winter in Ireland(we were double unlucky with the storm). Overall the house was suitable and once the heating issues are resolved, we would be happy to stay here again in the future.

    Darren2017-10-21T00:00:00Z
  • Kate’s cottage is very close to the beach, but it is far enough away that you don’t hear the noise of the promenade. The cottage itself was lovely. We really couldn’t fault it. The bed was very comfortable and the water pressure/temperature in the shower was excellent. Kate was very quick to respond to any messages, and even had some coffee in the cupboards as a little welcome. I would highly recommend the cottage.

  • We really enjoyed our stay in Kate’s home this week. Communication was great, location is central, house was just like the pictures. Thank you!

My place is close to the beach, restaurants and dining, family-friendly activities, nightlife, and public transport. My place is good for couples, solo adventurers, and families (with kids).
  • Ellen accused of the fact that we have more people than we had booked, but the price is the same regardless of how many people there are. I hadn´t reason to do so. That was the wrong approach. The property is located in a noisy area, not recommended for families with children. The house wasn´t tidy, damp towels... I don´t visit more. I am disappointed.

    Daniela2016-12-05T00:00:00Z

  • We spent a lovely WE at Ellen's house. Melanie was very helpful and it was very straightforward to arrange the arrival. The house is spottless and I think bigger than expected. It is really well equiped with all the apliances you might need and everything in a lovely state. Just be aware if you travel with small children that the house has 3 levels, with bedrooms on the ground and 2nd floor and the living room and kitchen in the 1st one (you might need to barricade some stairs). The location and views are stunning and Ellen has decorated this house with greater taste! We hope to be back soon! Thanks for everything!

  • This house is a hidden gem. It is bang in the middle of town with a sea view across the bay and everything is within a three minute walk. The decor is beautiful and the local agent is lovely and so professional. You really have everything you could want for a few days or weeks in Tramore. Surprisingly spacious and well laid out. We look forward to getting back again. Thanks again.

Leonie was so helpful and left so many extra touches from the fluffy towels to the welcome basket. There is the most amazing bakery around the corner with great coffee and delicious pastries and bread. My boys had great fun surfing and at the fun fair. We shall be back very soon!

Bed and continental breakfast in comfortable double bedroom with en suite bathroom. Our house is located in a quiet road with lovely views of Tramore Bay from our garden. We are just around the corner from some very good restaurants and lively pubs and is perfect for a stroll on the sandy beach or around the coast road for some scenic views of the bay.
There are 3 things people love about our place in Tramore - It's clean, it's comfortable and it's close to restaurants, bars and the beach. The spacious bedroom has a double bed, walk-in wardrobe and an en suite bathroom. There is a single bedroom available if there are 3 people, I can offer this at a reduced price. All bedding, sheets and towels are provided. Tea and coffee is available in your room. There is wireless internet throughout, a washing machine, and TV. Continental breakfast (cereals, toast, croissants, yogurt, jams, tea, coffee, orange juice etc.) are included in the price.
Tramore is a lovely little picturesque town in Co. Waterford. Our home is in the centre of the town with supermarkets, chemists, banks, dentists, doctors, etc. We are near the beach and all the activities. TBay Surf and Eco Centre gives lessons and hires surf boards. Tramore has the best beach in Ireland for surfing. There are many very nice restaurants and pubs, and is lively in the summer with music and festivals. The scenic landscape of Tramore, represented by the strand and cliffs, attracts many walkers. The Doneraile Walk, Cliff Road Walk, as well as the 5 km strand walk to the sand dunes. There are also guided walks. 15 minutes drive is Waterford Greenway (previously the old Dungavan to Waterford railway line), newly opened this year for walkers and cyclists - Lovely scenery, views of the Commeragh mountains, seaviews, fields, farms, bridges, viaducts, old railway stations. It feels like you are walking in fields (even though you are on the track) as the views are so good for miles. There are no gates - so it is a totally uninterrupted cycle and walk. Bike hire available on the Greenway. Then there is Waterford City to visit. Waterford is the oldest city in Ireland. A walled city of Viking origins. The Viking Triangle area has Reginald's Tower, Bishops Palace, Medieval Museum, historical walking tours and of course, the Waterford Crystal Visitors Centre.

  • We arrived in Tramore on a cold and blustery night. Alicia welcomed us in for tea right away, showed us to our room, and got us all set up with the wifi. The room was purple (my wife's favorite) tidy, and spacious. It also had a private bathroom that contained the essentials (body wash, lotion, etc) just like a hotel! Despite the weather, we were excited by the location of this home. The kitchen had views of the coast, and many shops, pubs, and restaurants were less than a five minute walk away. We woke up to a wonderful breakfast, and we were disappointed that we couldn't stay longer! Certainly a lovely home with gracious hosts. :)

Hosts were exceptionally welcoming and interested in sharing travel and life stories over a glass of wine or cup of tea! Only 10-15 minutes drive to the lovely city of Waterford, easy to find and in easy walking distance of the strand and beachside amusements of Tramore. A great place to stay.

  • The apartment was perfect, exceeded expectations for all of us. You truly can't find a better location if staying in Tramore. We travelled without a car and everything was within walking distance. The apartment was spotless and Arlene's correspondence before and during the reservation was always prompt and Arlene was very friendly checking us in. Thanks again for an unforgettable stay!

    Alan2018-05-09T00:00:00Z
  • Great location. Arlene was great to deal with, really prompt with responses. There was an electricity meter on the wall - that we weren't told about beforehand - that only took €2 coins, which became an issue when we got back at midnight and had no change and anywhere close that might have change was closed. Overall, very good experience. We only used it as a place to stay at night and it was perfect for what we needed.

The cottage is situated a couple of minutes walk from The Doneraile Walk with lovely views of Tramore Bay. It is also a 6-7 minute walk from Tramore Strand though this may take longer on your return journey as it is uphill. We hope to return next year.

  • Very central...walking distance to pubs & restaurants & beach... lots of nearby walks & exploring to do. House spotless & very welcoming & homely... little touches left like milk & butter & cheese vino & crackers 😁 large kitchen & separate sitting room... super cosy with beautiful stove & firewood supplied. Host was very available & prompt for any questions. Ate in pine rooms down the hill...very quirky fine dining lovely restaurant... Indian takeaway from across the road from pine rooms was authentic & fast delivery. Comfy beds & large rooms.... our dogs loved beach walks & ample space with a front garden and back decking...oh & private parking. Beautiful house to explore Tramore & surrounding areas.

  • The house was in a lovely quiet location, with amenities very close by. It was great to have private gated parking. The garden was lovely with decking and seating area. The home was very cosy, with home from home touches. Having sky was a huge hit with our children! The house is large and the beds were so comfortable. The corner bath was a nice addition and the kids loved it! Communication throughout our stay was excellent. Martina, thank you for an enjoyable week in your home.

    Laura2017-09-03T00:00:00Z
  • Location was excellent and the sun was shining all weekend so it was great. However the bath and shower were filthy, no bedside lamps so reading in bed a no go.

  • Ideal property in a beautiful location just a minute walk from the beach. Area well maintained and everything you need on your doorstep. Highly recommend

  • Wouldn't recommend.

    Mary2018-06-04T00:00:00Z
  • Do not stay here! This place was horrendous, you have to pay for your own electricity! Only ensuite toilet was working, ensuite shower unusable, ensuite sink didn't have a cold tap, bedding smelt like dog and cigarettes so much so that we had to buy new bedding and air the duvets outside to help with the smell, no bed side lamps, dangerous furniture in bedroom, very shoddy paint work, main bathroom contained broken toilet roll holder and towel rail, loo also broken and wasn't fixed as promised during our stay, hole in the wall behind the front door, front door wouldn't shut unless locked, only three chairs in the kitchen even though it was for 6 people, kitchen cupboards filthy and grimy, sofas missing bits of material, tv cabinet missing doors, no towels provided or bath mat. Madeleine said she would fix the loo, that never happened, she ask said she would put more money on the electricity meter and that never happened either.

    Hayley2017-08-29T00:00:00Z
  • What a lovely apt in a superb location in Tramore. Host was fab too. Will definitely be back please God.

    elber2017-08-14T00:00:00Z
  • We were greeted by Madeline when we arrived. She is a very pleasant lady and filled us with information when we arrived. The apartment is clean, spacious and very comfortable. There is a grassy are right beside the apartment where the kids have ample room to play football while you watch. It's safe and all walked in. It's just across from the sea. We were able to walk over and back in our wetsuits. The promenade is straight across also and all along are little coffee shops and the amusements. There are some great places to eat when you hit the end of the promenade and into the town. We had a fantastic time. We will definetly be back.

3 bed Seaside Escape, newly renovated with breathtaking views of the ocean - best location in sunny Tramore! - House is right on the beach overlooking the sea. - Cafes, beach, amusements, restaurants, water activities,Doneraile Walk and other amenities right on your doorstep. - 10 minute drive to Waterford City and right on the Copper Coast and Waterford's Greenway cycle track. - Dunmore East and Dungarvan are a short drive away. - Great for families or those wanting a relaxing break.
  • The house was right on the beach with excellent views. It was close to town which meant we could walk for breakfast, lunch, and dinner. I would highly recommend this location.

  • Fantastic stay , Clare's lovely place is exactly as described and looks even nicer in real life than in photographs . It is very central- close to shops, restaurants and right across from the beach. Communication with Clare was very easy and the whole stay went so smoothly. I would definitely return.

    Cassie2017-08-05T00:00:00Z
  • Could not recommend Claire's place more. We stayed for a week in the middle of August. It is right beside the beach- waking up to the sound of waves crashing is one of the best sounds. The house is right around the corner from the amusements and arcades. It is also close to restaurants and pubs. The house is built on three levels. There are three large bedrooms with plenty of space for us all. The sitting room is spacious and comfortable. It have French doors that open to allow the sea breeze in and you can hear the waves. Thank you for letting us stay Claire- we had a brilliant holiday and maybe back. Jill

    Jill2017-08-19T00:00:00Z
  • Me and my family had a great stay in Clare's place, The location is perfect with everything within walking distnace, passage east ferry was only 20mins drive which we used to go as far as hook lighthouse and loftus hall. The apartment is beautiful and nothing beats opening them french doors and watching and listening to the sea. We had such a nice warm family stay here and hope to visit again in the future.

    Darren2017-08-28T00:00:00Z
  • The apartment is literally on the beach with hypnotic views over the bay framed by the Metalman monument in the distance. We opened the doors/windows and enjoyed the melodic sound of the waves and ever changing scene as the tide ebbed and flowed and the light changed on the water, it was amazing. The apartment is in the heart of things but still pretty quiet. It's modern, newly renovated with pretty much everything you would need. Its townhouse set up, over 3 floors which even with a toddler (18 months) we found manageable. Clare was a marvellous host - lots of info in the advance, clear instructions and had the place ready for us with a few extra touches (colouring book for the baby and wine for Mammy & Daddy!!) to make us feel even more welcome which was heartwarming. I can fully recommend Clare's apartment if you are looking for a lovely coastal get away but with the convenience of a town (pubs, restaurants, an amazing bakery) close to hand.

You'll love our place as it's a spacious 900 sq ft 2 bedroom penthouse apartment right by the beach with sea view. It sleeps 6 - with a double and single bed in each room. Perfectly situated for families with the playground, skate park, fairground, indoor play area, surf school and surfboard hire, Splashworld leisure centre, cafes and fish and chips close by.
Spacious open plan living room, dining and kitchen with ocean view. Gated parking. Main bathroom with bath, and en-suite in large master bedroom with shower. Master bedroom sleeps 3 with double and single bed with wardrobe and chest of drawers. Second bedroom sleeps 3 with double/single bunk, with wardrobe, chest of drawers and toychest. It is a lovely big space to be based for a family holiday or a writers retreat by the sea.
Atlantic Coast is at the quiet end of the beach with lovely walks, cafes, surf schools and skate park. A beautiful large children's playground with sandpit and the fairground are just a few minutes walk along the promenade.
  • This apartment is in an excellent location for making the most of Tramore. And the advert doesn't do justice to its size. The apartment benefits from an enormous living area which is ideal for kids to run around and to finish tiring themselves out if they haven't already done so on the beach. Would recommend. My only minor comment would be that you might wish to take along your own bath towels as the ones on offer are a little tired and thin

There is an amazing view to the sea from the guest room and a fireplace we used both nights. The place has many flowers (inside and outside) and there is also a lovely terrace with sitting area. Room was bright and clean. It is a very good place to stay.

Bright comfortable home in Tramore town with large garden and countryside views.
The house is close to local amenities, and within walking distance of the beach, but is in a quiet cul de sac, so you can relax without the sound of traffic, looking over open countryside, and enjoy the hooting of owls at night.
The house is located in a quiet and friendly cul de sac, with plenty of open green spaces and tennis courts very close to the property. Shops are a ten minute walk away, and the beach, bars and restaurants are also within walking distance. Tramore is famous for its wonderful beach, which has fine sand and is safe for swimming, whilst the extensive flats of the backstrand are a bird watcher's paradise. There are many surf schools located near the beach, and the large funfair behind the seafront is open every day during the summer, with rides to suit all ages, a boating lake and a fantastic mini golf course. Other local beaches worth checking out are Newtown Cove, great for swimming, Garrarus, Kilfarrassey, and Bunmahon and Annestown further west. The Tramore racecourse is at the top of our road, and Tramore also has a golf course. Lake Tour stables offer treks around Carrigavantry reservoir. The lovely Lafcadio Hearn Japanese gardens are within walking distance and worth a visit. Kids will enjoy the playground and the Copper Coast Minifarm at Fenor, just a few miles west of Tramore. Wet-weather attractions suitable for families in the area include Splashworld, Laserquest and Runamuck in Tramore, and Reginald's Tower and the Medieval museum in Waterford. Waterford has a lot of other museums worth seeing, as well as being a good shopping destination, with two cinemas, bowling etc. The pretty fishing village of Dunmore East is a great place to wander, swim, do water sports and find fresh seafood, whilst at Passage East you'll find the small car ferry to bring you across to Co Wexford, where you can access a large range of attractions including Hook Head lighthouse, Dunnrody Abbey (a good family day out with a maze and mini golf), the wonderful JFK arboretum, the Dunbrody famine ship at New Ross and others. A short drive away you can access the fantastic new Waterford Greenway, a 50km stretch of converted railway line running from Waterford to Dungarvan where you can walk, run or cycle through some beautiful countryside, over bridges, through tunnels (kids love that bit!), with some great views of the coastline. The towns and villages along the way have some good options for eating, and there are several bike hire outfits. www.visitwaterfordgreenway.com. Mount Congreve, on the river Suir is only a few kilometres away, and is a lovely place to spend a few hours walking through the beautiful gardens and woodland. For shopping, there is a local butcher opposite the Catholic Church, a great fishmonger on the Main Street, and the renowned Seagull Bakery in the middle of town. There are also three supermarkets: SuperValu, Lidl and Tesco. The much loved Cahills will provide you with everything else you can possibly imagine! There is a wide range of eating places in Tramore. We like The Vee Bistro and Brooklyn for dining and Moe's cafe for great coffee and cakes. Dooley's does fantastic fish and chips, but you may have to queue. There are plenty of pubs to choose from. The Vic is always a good option, and Raglan Road has great live music.
  • We had a great time at Catherine's beautiful house. It is enormous and it was sparkling clean. Just a short drive to the beach etc., very comfortable beds - really all you need! Communication, check-in etc. were super, too. Anytime again!

  • We all enjoyed our stay in Catherine's home.. Ciara met us on arrival.. A very pleasant and friendly and helpful person.. We all liked the idea of the bottles of water in rooms for guests and they also had fresh milk for a cuppa on arrival.. These little things were very thoughtful .. Its quiet a spacious house that is well looked after.. The estate is very quite.. We would highly recommend Catherines home..

Being light and airy and centrally located with on site parking and decking it is ideal for that cosy restful break. Public transport and all amenities are nearby so no need for a car necessarily. Great traditional Irish music pubs nearby. Wednesday Thursday and Fridays are Trad nights. The Japanese Gardens are across the road and with the beach a few minutes walk away. The Greenway is 10km away.
Bright open spacious sitting / dining area with stove and very large viewing window. 2 ensuites a double with a sink and main bathroom. Large kitchen and seated porch. Decking and parking
Our place is at the entrance of a quiet small cul de sac. it is opposite the Japanese Gardens and is a short walk to the beach and a very short walk to the restaurants and shops etc. Excellent location to enjoy all Tramore has to offer and a short spin to the Greenway where you can cycle/run/walk the whole way to Dungarvan....or to the stop offs along the way.

My place is close to family-friendly activities, nightlife, and public transport. You’ll love my place because of the light, the comfy bed. My place is good for couples, solo adventurers, business travellers, families (with kids), and furry friends (pets). ***SUMMER BOOKINGS ARE PER WEEK SAT-SAT ONLY JUNE 10th - AUG 26th***
You will have the full apartment to yourselves.
The apartment overlooks the beach and promenade. There are cafes and restaurants in walking distance. The winter months is very quiet and peaceful, with the area coming alive in the summer with holiday makers.
  • Super apartment very close to the beach! Arlene is very nice!

    Florence2017-03-03T00:00:00Z
  • Arlene was a good host and was there to resolve an issue regarding a faulty alarm when we raised it. However, the apartment, although a great location is in need of a good clean and new carpets as they are extremely worn and very smelly. The kitchen facilities are very basic and crockery all mismatching and cheap looking. This is reflected in the price of course but still a disappointing stay.

    Elizabeth2017-02-26T00:00:00Z
  • Arlene was very friendly and was very flexible with the check-out. But the apartment was very dirty. There were a lot of things that we weren't able to use!

    Anton2017-03-19T00:00:00Z
  • Basically the appartment has everything that is needed. It is spacious and there are things like dish washer, washing machine and fridge. The location is close to the beach and absolutely perfect for walking around the area. It could use an update in terms of cleanliness though but that is in the end true for the whole complex.

    Christopher2016-09-27T00:00:00Z
  • Arlene's place was clean enough on the surface but not on closer examination. There's an electricity meter on the premises which we were not previously notified of and ended by bringing costs up quite significantly. It was great being able to bring our indoor cat and he enjoyed the freedom. The front door didn't work properly so we could only gain access from the rear. We didn't get to meet Arlene personally but she was contactable by phone. The location is great and avoiding the temptation of Dooly's chipper right next door was impossible (best chippers in Tramore). Next time we visit Tramore we'll be checking Arlene's availability first.

Baile Ó Bhaile (Home from Home)
Baile Ó Bhaile teases the senses. The green wash exterior of this five-bedroom seaside property is a symmetrical dream, with a utility door to the left casually breaking the otherwise aesthetic uniformity. It is a property that is easy to digest at first sight; playing tricks on your expectations. Enter the door of this period residence and feel your palette become aroused as you move from the clean façade into a spectacularly restored space, coupling old and new together whimsically. Originally built in 1850, the two-story property underwent a significant refurbishment in 2017. This project was a labour of love for the owners, and they managed every aspect of the restoration. Their passion and attention to intricate details ensured that the original features were respected in collaboration with the introduction of a modern industrial feel to the space. This luxe Airbnb property offers visitors a sojourn that provides beach proximity and a short drive to Waterford city. Perfect for families, friends and even corporate bookings, the property delivers a stay that exudes equal measures of luxury and comfort. Five en-suite bedrooms offer ample space for up to 12 people, and the inclusion of a fully equipped wheel-chair accessible bedroom is a welcome addition. The open plan kitchen cum living and dining area with brickwork finish provides warmth to those winter nights that require the company of a roaring fire and a glass of red. If you are lucky enough to catch a weather break, the garden is a peaceful landscaped place to enjoy a BBQ and even camp style fire in the circular pit for the ultimate chill experience. There is also a secure outdoor lock-up facility for sports equipment including bikes, surfboards, fishing equipment, golf clubs, horse tackle, etc. Tramore, while traditionally revered for its beachside juxtaposition, offers more than just the Celtic Sea. Local attractions include the Waterford Greenway route, the East Waterford Gaultier Coast Drive, the picturesque village of Dunmore East, the Lafcadio Hearn Japanese Gardens and many more. Children are front and centre of the abundance of activities in the area with options including Splashworld, the Copper Coast Mini Farm, Lake Tour Stables and of course the seaside and amusement parks. Sports lovers rejoice; Tramore and its surrounds cater for all passions. On the menu is racing (Waterford & Tramore Racecourse), surfing (Tramore Surf School) cycling, fishing, and hill walking. The area also boasts a plentiful choice of magnificent golf courses including Tramore, Dungarvan, Waterford Castle, Dunmore East and Faithlegg. Ireland is renowned for excellent produce, locally sourced and straight to the table. Tramore doesn’t digress and has an abundance of well-known restaurants and pubs in its portfolio. Here are some highlights – • The Vee Bistro • Raglan Road Traditional Irish Pub • Murphs Bar • Power Martha and Robinson's Bar • The Pine Rooms • The Victoria House • The Olive Cafe • The Copper Hen Tramore is a hop skip from Dublin, taking two hours via the M9 Dublin to Waterford Motorway and R675 to Tramore. Only an hour and a half drive from Cork and a 13-minute drive from Waterford City, the property is close to the airport, trains and bus stations. The property is an ideal haven of luxury for large groups of families or friends and promises to leave guests with a lasting memory of Tramore and its beautiful surroundings.
The property is located right opposite the bus station & splashworld and has parking at the front and the back of the house. We are a two minute walk from Tramore town and a five minute walk to the beach. The house is fully wheelchair accessible from the back door as the main living space and wheelchair accessible bedroom are on the first floor to maximise the sea views.

  • We had the opportunity to stay at Baile O Bhaile during Winter Storm Emma. What was originally planned as a 2 night trip, quickly turned into 4 nights as we were snowed in an unable to leave. To our delight Train Hill just outside the home quickly turned into the local place to be as it provided a great place to snowboard and sled. The home provided ample space and we each had our own place to retreat to. Rachael has an artful skill of preserving old charm, but providing modern amenities. Rachael is a lovely host and responds very quickly. Looking forward to another stay at Baile O Bhaile in the future.

  • From the photographs of the property I had high hopes for my stay but actually the house was even more stylish and spacious than I expected. The house is warm, welcoming, decorated beautifully and overlooking the sea. The beds were extremely comfortable and there was numerous bathrooms with hot showers. The kitchen/sitting room was ideal for a large group on a holiday with a huge table, lots of seats and all utensils we needed. It was also the most beautiful (Website hidden by Airbnb) was like something straight off a house makeover show! It is located perfectly - about 5 minutes walk from the sea, restaurants and pubs, amusements etc. We parked for the weekend on arrival and didn't need our cars again until we left. All in all, we had a brilliant stay and would highly recommend this house to everyone. In fact, while we were still in the house several friends spoke of booking another trip to stay soon!

  • So much space!!! And ideally located for walking to the beach or to local pubs and restaurants. The home has been finished to a very high standard and has lovely views across the sea. Beds were really comfortable and the amenities included everything we needed!!

  • Rachael's house is withoubt doubt a show stopper! The decor is beautiful and the house will exceed your expectations and more! We had a lovely stay and it was great with the 2 boys ( cots and high chairs provided ) walks to the beach and local pubs there were no faults! Many thanks and we can't wait for our return!

We are in a lovely quiet, peaceful and tranquil area perfect for great 'sleeps'.
  • They were lovely hosts, we felt at home. The room was extremely clean, and the breakfast was superb, there was also a wide variety to choose from. They also gave us great tips, informing us about the area, restaurants, what to see...

  • The place is amazing. Penny and her husband are really kind people. The room is very clean and we even had options for the breakfast. I totaly recomend it!

    Rodrigo2017-07-10T00:00:00Z
  • We would highly recommend staying at the Norland's. Penny was absolutely the most gracious host. She was so sweet and so friendly and made us feel so welcome and so comfortable in their home. Our room was very comfortable and clean. We had awesome choices for breakfast and all four of us in our group chose our first full Irish breakfast! The breakfast and pressed coffee was delightful. She chatted with us following breakfast and asked us what our plans were for the next couple days and offered us suggestions. We enjoyed our time in the town, dining at Raglan Road which had live Irish music. We also enjoyed a morning run/walk along the water front pathways.

  • We had a great stay in the upstairs family room at Penny's. We loved that room with all the pine panelling. The room is well fitted out with even a hairdryer and coffee and is quiet. Penny and Niall were both very friendly and helpful. The breakfast was tasty and if we are in that area we'll definitely stay there again.

  • Cannot say enough about Norlands, along with Penny and Niall. We were warmly welcomed upon our arrival, provided a ton of great recommendations for Tramore, and then settled into the great accommodations for a night of solid rest. Niall also provided a great running route for the morning. We did that route and then enjoyed a great breakfast. If you're in the area, this is the B&B/Airbnb to select. Thanks again Niall & Penny.

If you want to lie on the beach, take cliff walks, play golf, surf or go racing, you’ll love my place because my apartment is a beautiful modern comfortable home situated in a quiet private gated complex. Close to all amenities, shops, restaurants, coffee shops and bars. It is across the road from 5 km of blue flag beach. My place is good for couples, solo adventurers, and families. (no cot available).
The apartment is beautifully decorated with every comfort. It has beautiful views of the Atlantic Ocean. Only across the road from the beach, a few minutes walk from coffee shops and restaurants, surfing, children's playground. Multi channel TV, WiFi. Free safe parking. Close to the Viking City of Waterford with the renowned Waterford Crystal factory and Viking Triangle.
Very quiet area, plenty of night life within a 10 min walk.

  • Bright airy apartment, stunning views and great to watch the sunrise! I didn't spend too much time in the apartment as I was busy working, but the beds were comfy, the water hot and Noelle was very welcoming - couldn't ask for more!

  • Fabulous place to stay, spotlessly clean, lovely welcoming host, beautiful views, had a great time, couldn't fault it

    Nat2017-04-19T00:00:00Z
  • Noelle's place is absolutely fantastic. I stayed with my family to celebrate a birthday and couldn't recommend it enough. It's ideally located in a quiet apartment complex near the beach (with sea views), an easy walk to the amusements, and just around the corner from some great cafes and restaurants (Moe's, Brooklyn etc.). Check in was smooth, great communication with Noelle, all the facilities that you could want in the apartment, and check out was very easy. Had a really memorable time. Thanks again!

    Tom2017-06-12T00:00:00Z
  • Noelle's flat is quiet and well located, easy walking distance from shops & restaurants. Probably the best part is seeing the Strand beach from the breakfast table.

Charming little cottage with seaside views. close to shops, bars, restaurants and supermarkets. Only five minutes from the beach. We have plenty of bars and restaurants and a fabulous bakery near the bottom of the hill called the seagull.
Our house has four bedrooms and two bathrooms. two bedrooms upstairs and two bedrooms downstairs. Upstairs we have two double rooms, one with a king size bed and the other with twin beds and a bathroom which has a bath, shower and toilet. The downstairs has two single bedrooms and a shower and toilet which is good for those with little mobility. The cottage has stunning views of the sea from the upstairs bedrooms We have an open plan kitchen and lounge with open coal fire and a large balcony which also has lovely views of the sea.
We love our holidays here for many reasons. The cottage is in a lovely quiet area. It is bright and airy. and within walking distance to all amenities. We love the sea views from the back of the cottage.

  • This is a lovely house that is warm and welcoming and has every home comfort and amenity. It is centrally located the seaside town of Tramore with its bars, restaurants and shops. We would recommend the Seagull Bakery for its superb sourdough bread; Dooleys chip shop for fish and chips and Ragland Road pub for an amazing array of gin, well stocked bar and a warm welcome.

  • Communication with Arlene was perfect and it made check in perfectly smooth. The location is great - right near the beach and all of the amusements. However the listing is not the same as the photos - similar, but not the same. Cleanliness is an issue! Everything was a bit grimy, none of the surfaces felt clean at all. There's a load of food splatters by the bin and on the doors. The sink was filthy and there were bits of food left in the drain. Everything smelled really musty including the bed clothes, towels and curtains. Could badly do with a proper professional paint job! Overall, it was okay for us as we didn't intend on cooking or spending any time there really but would not recommend it if that's what you wanted!

    Clodagh2017-04-10T00:00:00Z
  • Arlene was a great host, she was really quick to get back to any of our questions and was flexible on check in and out times. The apartment itself is incredibly central to anything you need. We stayed in one night and cooked and it had everything we needed. Overall we had a great stay, thanks again Arlene.
