Point of Interest
“This place is 3 blocks east on West Main Street. It is so much fun! Every show I've seen there has been wonderful. In the summer months, the theater employs a traveling troupe of professional actors. The rest of the year the theater uses local talent for wonderful, really well done plays.”

Scenic Lookout
“Free drive up to the rest. Trinidad sign and grave of George Simpson, former county clerk & recorder. His wish was to be buried on top. Earlier he had diverted a band of Indians wanting to wreak havoc on the town and he had them chasing him in and out of caves, etc. until they gave up and moved on from atop Simpson's Rest. Great aerial view of Trinidad. Gates close at dusk so go early.”
