“Foundry is popular for its lunch and dinner menu, live music and nightlife. It is situated along the bar strip on Red River Road between Cumberland Avenue and Court Street. Karaoke or live music. Venture up and down the streets' bright lights on foot to try out the other pubs, for live music, dancing, and after-hours hot dog stands. Many venues such as Crocs n Rolls or Black Pirate's club boasts well known bands, local talent, kareoke, and Open Mic nights for comedy or music.”

“This limited seating restaurant requires advanced reservations if you want to be sure to get in. Located directly on the shore of Lake Superior you will be treated to a delightful sunset most days. Our recommendation for food is the brisket or fillet if it is available, but skip the cheesecake - not worth the calories in our opinion.”

“We camp here annually every summer with our extended family and our kids think summer is complete once we have that vacation! There are beaches for swimming, break walls for climbing, trails for running/biking/hiking, and places to visit and enjoy being on the shore of Lake Superior.”

“Stop in at the mine to visit their well stocked gift shop and to book a tour into the mine. It is worth setting aside a couple hours to experience the life of the miners who settled in this area. Some of the hardships they faced are difficult to imagine in this age of advanced technology.”

“The KBC taproom is a fun place to hang out and drink low cost microbrew. There is a deck out back during nice weather and a fireplace to warm up during the winter. They do sell food (other than peanuts) but you can bring food to enjoy with your beer or non-alcoholic beverage.”
