  • We had a fabulous time at Mark's Cider Barn. The barn is a fantastic property, and so beautifully decked out with lots of nice, personal touches. It's bigger than we expected - with a sofa bed, as well as double + extra single on a mezzanine level, so meant the three of us each had our own bed. Perfect for a weekend getaway and just a short drive into Malvern proper. Mark showed us around his property and is a lovely, helpful guy with great recommendations and taste. There's everything you need - all kitchen utensils, towels and a nice sitting area to relax. Lovely countryside nearby and just a three hour train trip from London. Might be worth pre-booking a pub and taxi if you're heading into Malvern on the Saturday night, but we managed to fluke both. Thanks for a lovely stay, Nicole, Amber and Ruth.

  • A super stay in this little hideaway! The Cider Barn had everything we needed with lots of extra touches that made it special. It was perfect for us in a quiet, peaceful location with lots of walks nearby. Our host, Mark, couldn't have been more welcoming and had some great advice about places to visit and where to eat. A wonderful place to relax; we felt chilled out as soon as we arrived!

  • Mark was the most fabulous host. He's genuine, friendly, thoughtful and made us feel so welcome when we got to visit his part of the countryside. We had a fabulous long weekend away and would highly recommend anyone stay at the cider barn. Mark made sure we were all set up with bikes - a request I had made. It was so great to cycle around and see part of Herefordshire and enjoy the sunshine. When we arrived there was some milk for our tea - which was just what we needed! He came in to check to see how we had settled and then also had a few recommendations for places to visit. All in all it was a fabulous weekend and we loved every part of our weekend in Herefordshire. Mark is one of a kind and you will just adore his home!

  • We had a delightful visit with Mark at the Cider Barn. Aesthetic, historical, well appointed and tasteful. Mark was a wonderful host. Very attentive, welcoming and fun. Picasso, his Jack Russel was an absolute delight and the Morgan is gem of a car. The ancient church across the lane and the Tudor Building down the lane adds to the ambiance of the setting with there historic and architectural features. We would love to stay there again. • Mark was very helpful and was quick to communicate prior to our visit. When we arrived he came and showed us around - he'd left really sweet personal touches like a welcome note, fresh;y picked flowers and a generous bowl of fruit! He was super helpful with recommendations of places to visit and assured us he would be next door if we needed anything at all. The village is lovely and we were lucky to have amazing weather. Thank you!

  • Great location 10 mins drive from Worcester centre. Clean, tidy, modern and spacious room with en-suite shower & toilet. Double bed, two couches, kettle with tea/coffee etc provided as a well as a toaster. Lots of nice touches like fresh flowers, biscuits, beside tissues etc and a nice warm welcome. Totally separate to main house with own entrance / privacy. Great price also. Can't recommend highly enough. Some commercial hotels don't match up to these standards for twice the price. If you are visiting Worcester or Malvern don't think twice about booking!

A quiet room overlooking the rear garden and offering a great boutique-feel combination of comforts and conveniences. You will enjoy a good night’s sleep on a luxury pocket-sprung mattress on a double divan bed fitted with 100% cotton linen. Whether you have come to Worcester for business, study, or relaxation, I have created a comfortable space for my visitors by fitting the room with a flat screen TV with BT pause/ rewind box, high-speed fibre WiFi and a dressing table/ workspace desk.
The bedroom is light and comfortable with a double divan bed and contemporary white furniture. It faces the garden so it is very quiet. It has plenty of storage space, both drawers and a wardrobe. There are black-out blinds and curtains. An HD television with BT YouView box (pause TV, rewind etc) is in the room. The shared bathroom is bright and clean, and well equipped with toiletries. There is super fast fibre broadband throughout the house. The room charge includes as much tea (a wide variety from black, green, white, roobuis, fruit and camomile) and coffee as you want to drink. There is cereal, muesli, fruit, yoghurt and bread/ toast, jams, marmalade etc for breakfast.
Very quiet part of Worcester. Small row of shops 200 metres. Friendly, pleasant neighbourhood. Worcester is an historic city, famed for its cathedral where King John is buried and for its Norman crypt. The river Severn flows through the heart of the city and there are lovely picturesque footpaths both sides of the river. Worcester is home to the world famous Worcestershire sauce made at the nearby Lea and Perrins factory. The historic home of Royal Worcester porcelain; there is a museum and shop selling their wares near the cathedral. The site of the last battle of the civil war was fought in fields nearby. Charles II rallied his troops from the tower of Worcester Cathedral. Worcester is known as the 'Faithful City' due to its support for the monarchy at that time.

  • I very much enjoyed my stay at Clive’s. He’s an excellent host, always ready to help and providing a pleasant atmosphere that makes you feel home. The house is great and the room very nice and comfortable. He took me in at very short notice, what I’m still very grateful for. Hope you like the tea and perhaps see you again sometime!

My place is close to River Severn, Royal Worcester Museum, Worcester Cathedral,The Commandry, The Hive, dozens of fabulous restaurants and coffee shops, Worcester University, a regular bus route.. My place is good for couples, solo adventurers and commuters.
Our guest room has a double bed and a rear aspect window that overlooks our garden, which you are welcome to take advantage of. There is a comfortable double with king size duvet and feather pillows. (If you are allergic to feathers please ask for an alternative). The room has a radiator and an air cooling fan/heater. Several powerpoints, a small flatscreen TV, hairdryer and tea and coffee making facilities. You are also welcome to make a snack in our kitchen. There is also a huge bookcase within your room which you are free to take advantage of. Whilst we are a non smoking household we are happy for our guests to smoke in our garden. We are able to supply a single cube bed which is an occasional "put you up" bed but very comfortable. However it should be noted that this bed would only be suitable for a child up to the age of 12.
This is a popular residential area with a mix of modern, Victorian and Edwardian properties. We have a mini Sainsburys approximately 10 minutes walk away and a CO OP store 10 minutes walk in the opposite direction. There is also a Spar garage and shop only 3-4 minutes walk from our property. We have several restaurants in the area including The Raven, The Perdiswell and The Bull at Fernhill Heath all excellent value. If you venture into the city (around 25 minutes walk) there are dozens of coffee shops and restaurants. Our favourites are Saffrons, King Charles restaurant and Ostlers situated next to The Swan Theatre, ideal for a pre theatre dinner.
  • Had a nice relaxed time here as their house is pretty, clean, and quiet. Sam & Nigel are very friendly and accommodating. Thank you for staying up late to open the door when we came late from a wedding.

  • Friendly reception and very hospitable couple.

    Nigel2017-05-14T00:00:00Z
  • My first Airbnb experience.. and it was just perfect for me, thank you Sam & Nigel! A lovely warm, friendly, family home that I felt very comfortable in. My room was private and a pleasure to relax in and the shower room just for my own use and just down the landing. Breakfast was lovely, just what I wanted and I could've stayed chatting to Sam all morning! I would highly recommend - the only slightly tricky point is the very narrow street in which to park. I was lucky to get a parking spot just outside the house, but in the morning I found that my wing mirror had been knocked and the glass was hanging out. I would just advise people to fold their mirrors in; my fault as I didn't do that. Everything else was brilliant :)

    Susan2017-09-12T00:00:00Z
  • Loved my stay at Sam and Nigel's place. The room/bathroom was comfortable, tastefully decorated and clean. She has put alot of thought into all the necessities a traveller might need and has included it in the room. Sam and Nicely are such a lovely couple. They were were so considerate, easy to engage with and made every effort to make me feel at home. Sam laid out a delicious breakfast every morning, which included cereals, fruits and pastries. The house is located in a quiet residential area and is located about a 20min walk to the high street. I didn't mind the walk at all as the first part of it, is along a really picturesque canal. If you have a car, parking can be easily found in the street. Overall my review echoes those of previous, this is a lovely, warm home, which I would highly recommend.

  • My daughter and I stayed with Sam and Nigel for 5 nights. They immediately made us feel incredibly welcome and were extremely friendly and entertaining hosts. The accommodation was warm, beautifully decorated and wonderfully comfortable accompanied with a delightful breakfast and great conversation. Sam even drove my daughter to university in the morning. I really couldn't rate them highly enough. They really are the perfect hosts. Thank you so much for looking after Lizzie so well and making her first week in Worcester such a positive one. Heidi and Lizzie.

Excellent City Centre location Very short walk to Foregate Street Train Station and all the city centre attractions, so very handy for a night out or work The kitchen is being redone at the moment therefore is not suitable for shared use. Drink making facilities are provided in your room. A single bed can also be added (as shown in some of the pictures) if required for a small extra charge, amend the total guests to 3 to add the extra bed when booking.
  • Craig was a very welcoming and thoughtful host. The bedroom and bathroom are spacious, beautifully presented and very clean. Only a 10 minute walk from the centre of Worcester meant no taxi after a night out.

Central location close to Foregate Street station, yet quiet, clean and comfortable. En-suite bathroom with shower, tea and coffee in room, TV, Wifi, overlooks pretty gardens. Friendly happy home. Free parking on street from late afternoon usually available. Simple breakfast offered on request. Nearby cafes, shops, bars, restaurants and pretty river and canal walks, cathedral, university, racecourse & city sights. B&B only so no evening cooking facilities.
The room is at the top of the house, 2 floors up, standard double bed with comfortable mattress topper. I can provide cereal etc on request in the morning if you would like. Sorry I don't provide cooking facilities but for longer stays we can discuss sharing meals. Welcome to sit in the pretty patio garden with a complimentary glass of wine or drink. There are plenty of eating places for all budgets close by. Check in is from 5pm and check out is 10am. Earlier bag drop welcome if I am home. I hope you don’t mind me asking for a clear photo and some information about yourself and your trip if you don’t have any previous reviews from hosts. Many thanks
Although very central, it's quiet and friendly, communal gardens, lots of nearby restaurants and bars, coffee shops, Costa and breakfast places. Easy close walk to city shops, cathedral, beautiful river and canal walks, university, racecourse, theatre and city parks etc. This location is great for walking and cycling. Worcester is a pretty city with tons of history and good shops. It is not a large city so can be seen on foot. The surrounding countryside is stunning with easy access to Cheltenham, Birmingham and Oxford. Stratford Upon Avon is 45 minutes drive away. Good rail links to other cities. Crowngate Coach station is central too but be aware there is another coach drop off just outside the city at The Fiveways Rugby stadium which is a 10 minute taxi ride away from the centre.
  • Pippa is a very warm and welcoming host, her place is beautifully decorated and comfortable. I was in Worcester only for a short trip and her place is centrally located and only a few minutes walk to the heart of town. I would highly recommend a stay in her home :-).

  • This place is great. It's so well insulated and warm, so clean amd has everything you need. Its actually bigger than it looks in the pictures, the bed is really comfy. Rhiannon provides a small amount milk, bread, jam and tea and coffee. This did us for breakfasts for our 2 night stay! Great for Kidderminster, West Midlands safari park and Mill Barns wedding venue. Rhiannon is so welcoming and helpful, yet respected our privacy. Incredible value compared to hotels in the area.

    Lucy2017-08-19T00:00:00Z
  • What can I say Rhiannon and hubby met us and gave directions when we got lost, greeted us at the gate and showed us straight to the room meeting lovely little bramble their cocker spaniel I had kisses and cuddles from her! Our studio was lovely all you need for an overnight stay. Beautiful views from the front over rolling fields. I would definitely recommend to anyone who would even just like a few days away it's a lovely area even though we had to leave early to get back home. A* all the way thankyou both xx

  • Fantastic place to unwind. Cottage is lovely and as described. Loved the ducks in the pond so peaceful, you can see for miles from the cottage. Plenty of places to eat if you dont fancy cooking within a couple of miles. Lots of walks and places of interest to visit. Helen is a wonderful host and has lots of information to hand and is very helpful. Highly recommended Airbnb

  • Dairy Cottage is a hidden gem, in beautiful surroundings. We were trilled with the location, the view from our bedroom window was amazing and we loved looking at the baby ducks by the pond in the mornings. For us we were in Holt Heath to get married so the cottage was very near to our wedding venue. Both our hosts Helen & Trevor were very friendly & accommodating, they went that extra mile and had put up a special hook for my wedding dress. Their cottage provided the tranquillity we needed in the build up to the wedding and complete relaxation afterwards. I have not hesitation in recommending both our hosts, the cottage & location, once you have been there, you will want to come back.

  • We stayed at the cottage for two nights whilst we attended a wedding at Curridine Barns. We throughly enjoyed are stay, and we were made very welcome. The cottage is lovely and cosy, and set in some beautiful countryside. The cottage had everything we needed for a nice relaxing weekend away and in a perfect location for attending a wedding at Curridine Barns.

  • Dairy Cottage is cosy, comfortable, warm and modern inside, with all home comforts. Perfect for a couple, although possibly too cosy for 4. Location is idyllic and view exactly as the picture. Helen is a great host and we highly recommend this BnB.

    Michael2017-09-11T00:00:00Z
  • Helen was a great host with clear details and information provided in advance. The cottage was ideal for us, comfy and spotlessly clean, with everything we needed and more. While the cottage abuts the main family home, it has been cleverly arranged to have privacy and views in the opposite direction so didn't feel overlooked. Helen was available for any questions but didn't impose at all during our stay and left us to enjoy our visit in peace. The cottage was perfect for exploring the area, so long as you are happy to drive given the rural location, which we were. Top marks! Thanks, we hope to be back some day!

  • You could not ask for a better place to stay if you want to get away from the city madness. A magical world so calm and relaxing. Helen and Trevor are the best hosts I've ever had, they helped us with everything we needed and much more. The best choice you can make!

  • We had a lovely weekend staying at the Dairy cottage whilst going to a friends wedding in Holt Heath. Helen and family were very friendly and fantastic hosts helping us to book a taxi home beforehand and allowing us to stay a little later after a late night at the Wedding! We would love to come back again and explore some more of the local countryside!

  • I caught the Worcester- Tenbury bus from the bottom of Menithwood lane. From there it's a pleasant 20 minute walk up the lane to Katie's home which is in a very pretty and peaceful farm setting. The family hospitality is lovely and Katie helped out with transport. A comfortable bed, spacious bedroom and a nice private bathroom were much appreciated. My thanks, Katie. Carol.

  • A very cosy stay, with a very tasty cooked breakfast available for a small extra charge (well worth it). Kate and James are very welcoming. Will definitely look to rebook in the future.

  • Katie is brilliant. The house was lovely, the best airbnb we have stayed in. The full English was great this morning. Perfect location, stunning scenery. Bed was extremely comfortable. Looking forward to visiting again soon! Thank you Katie.

  • Very clean, secluded, quiet cottage, welcoming hosts even at a late arrival. Bedroom totally separate from the rest of the house, charming.

    Julie2017-06-24T00:00:00Z
  • Had such a lovely stay at Katie's place. All I really needed was a bed for the night but turned out much more than that - an incredibly beautiful location and a perfect home to stay in. The room and bathroom are really spacious and clean, and private from the rest of the home so you don't feel like you're encroaching and can come and go as you please. Would certainly recommend and stay again!

    Jo2017-08-19T00:00:00Z
  • A charismatic cottage in a secluded spot thoughtfully decorated to enhance its rustic charm. Katie and James were lovely hosts.

  • 2nd time I've stayed for a business trip. Katie and James are more than accommodating and a lovely pair of people, as are their 2 dogs! The room description is accurate and although it's in their home, is very private and the breakfast is plentiful. Would definitely recommend to others

A pretty Victorian house close to the Malvern hills with one double room and one single room available for guests. Ideally situated for hill walking, cycling and exploring the local area. There is an excellent Chinese restaurant close by ( closed mondays ) and a wide variety of pubs and restaurants a short drive or 20 minute walk into Malvern town centre.
There are attractive gardens at the front and rear of the property and great views from the bathroom ! There are maps and guide books available for the local area.
I live very close to the hills so ideal for walkers and fell runners.
  • Great stay!easy parking, very clean, lovely breakfast everyday and am only to happy to recommend this lovely house.

  • Susan was welcoming and friendly from the minute she opened the door. Her home is spotless, warm and cosy. Very close to Malvern. The surrounding countryside is beautiful. She has added some lovely touches such as the availability to make a cuppa and has guidebooks to look through. It was only after I booked that I saw she provided breakfast which was very much appreciated. Highly recommended.

    Claire2017-10-03T00:00:00Z
  • Due to personal circumstances, I wasn't able to make it to Susan's place unfortunately, and by that time I knew that any cost was non-refundable. However, I did get to speak to Susan following booking, and out of courtesy to say I couldn't make it, and both times she seemed quite pleasant.

    Mike2017-09-12T00:00:00Z
  • Our stay at Susan’s delightful Victorian cottage was very welcoming, clean and comfortable. Susan made us very at ease and was most kind and helpful with her knowledge of the local area and interesting places to visit. Breakfast was a continental style with fresh fruit salad and even seasonal cooked apples from her garden. The location of her cottage makes it ideal for exploring the Malvern hills and town. Within walking distance are the Star Pub offering Chinese food and the Nags Head for more traditional food and fine ales. Susan’s warm and friendly manner contributed to a most enjoyable stay in the Malvern area. We highly recommend it.

  • Thank you Susan for a lovely stay and making a home from home. And thank you for accommodating our low card diet at breakfast. We'd love to come again and explore a little more of the area. Perfect location for the hills!

This bungalow has recently been refurbished to create a clean, tasteful and modern space. This three bedroomed property is fully equipped and would be ideal for solo adventurers, business travellers, couples and families (with children). Inside you can expect large, comfy beds within light, airy rooms plus large open spaces located in the living room and conservatory. Outside you can expect great views of the surrounding fields in a peaceful, rural setting with several beautiful country walks.
Great location: The property is located 3 miles away (approx. 8 minute drive) from Worcester City Centre (great shops, bars and restaurants in a city full of character - Worcester Cathedral, River Severn etc.) and 8 miles away (approx. 15 mins drive) from the Malvern Hills (an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty with views which are definitely worth the hike). On arrival: We offer flexible check-in times to suit our guests. You’ll be shown as little or as much of the property as you wish, in addition to as little or as much information about the property and the local area. Brief documents will be provided which wlll give local recommendations for places to eat (restaurants, supermarkets, etc.), places to drink (cafes, bars, etc.), local parks and things to see and do in Worcester and Malvern. Plus a local transport document and a check-out document. I look forward to welcoming you into this light, bright, clean and modern bungalow. I also look forward to making your stay as comfortable and effortless as possible. Many thanks, Harvey.
Lower Broadheath - a quiet, rural village. Our beautiful, peaceful village offers several scenic country walks and some great country pubs. The Dewdrop Inn and The Bell Inn - The Dewdrop Inn provides a cosy atmosphere and serves really great quality dishes for either your lunch or evening meal. The Bell Inn provides more of a village pub atmosphere, both of which are very lively at the weekends. However, once you've put your feet up and enjoyed the relaxed atmosphere of the countryside, Worcester's vibrant city centre is only 3 miles away.
  • Great place. Exceeds all expectations. Beautiful property, newly refurbished, spacious, warm and clean. The hoat was outstanding and went out of his way to provide a multitude of extras such as milk in the fridge, food, toiletries, flowers etc which made the property even more welcoming. I highly reccommend this property.

  • Harvey was an excellent host, we felt welcomed from the time we booked till check out. The property was very clean, well located for Worcester, outside but only a short drive to town. The facilities on offer were fantastic and really suited our family needs. Would highly recommend for anyone looking for a property in the area. Will be looking to stay here again.

  • Such a lovely place to stay. Harvey is a brilliant host, met us at the property and showed us round. The property is in a lovely, beautiful location and close to a great pub. The bungalow itself is clean and tidy and well presented. Lovely sized rooms and a well stocked kitchen. There’s a great garden for children to run around in.

    Sarah2017-11-10T00:00:00Z
  • Harvey is a great guy, most accommodating and very quick to respond both initially and during my stay. The property is amazing for plenty of reasons and a 'must stay' when in the area. Will I be back? You bet I will, and soon!

    Wal2017-11-01T00:00:00Z
  • Great location for our trip, very clean and tidy property. Very good size for a family to stay. Great view and quite location. Two great pubs within short walk for food. Very very comfortable beds (great nights sleep). Really liked having breakfast in the morning watching the squirrels and the birds. Even saw a green woodpecker for the first time. Located in a village / country location about a 10 min drive in to the Center of Worcester. The bungalow was very well equipped and had a few lovely extras as well. Which were very thoughtful touches. 10 out of 10 property and will be staying here when ever we’re going to be in the area if we can. Thank you again.

My home is near the centre of Worcester and within walking distance to Worcester Stations (Foregate Street and Shrub Hill), bus station, city centre, University of Worcester, The Hive, Worcester Crown Court, racecourse, restaurants, cafes and Cathedral. There are 2 friendly dogs & 2 cats who are part of the family, therefore guests staying, will need to like animals. My family home is more suitable for females, who prefer to stay in a family home and not a hotel.
It is a good sized bedroom, with a king sized metal Ikea framed bed with two single foam mattresses, one bedside table with lamp, worktable with chair, basic TV, shelves, one double wardrobe, painted wooden floor and 2 floor mats. When the sun is shining in the afternoon, the room has the afternoon sun, which is lovely during the winter months. From the bedroom window, there is a view of part of the Square, mature trees and the front garden of my home. The room is on the 2nd floor. It is 2 floors up a carpeted staircase. It's a long way up to carry a heavy suitcase. If possible travel lightly. The shared bathroom is on the 1st floor and the 2 guest rooms are on the 2nd floor. The bathroom has a bath with shower, toilet and washbasin. The shared bathroom has occasionally been a problem, but I try and encourage guests to be mindful of this and think of other guests in the house. Guests are welcome to help themselves to tea and coffee in the kitchen at any time and use the kitchen to make themselves an easy meal or microwave meal. Smoking is allowed outside in the rear courtyard or the front garden.
I love my family home and the location, which are situated in an attractive leafy Georgian Square and only a short walk from the centre of Worcester. Parking can be confusing and sometimes difficult, as sections have been marked for residents and non-residents. However, I can explain the parking system when I meet each new guest. So far, parking has not been too much of a problem. Luckily, most of my guests have needed to use their car during the day or arrived to Worcester by train. The neighbourhood is normally quiet, however, if an event is taking place on the racecourse it is possible that you will hear music, etc. I have two grownup children. My son lives in High Wycombe and my daughter has recently moved back home with her dog.
  • Une maison propre et bien tenue. Vivien est une personne très agréable. Toujours disposée à aider ou renseigner. Un très bon séjour. Je recommande vivement.

Our home is located in South end of Worcester, the area where we are placed is called St Peters, which is very quiet part of Worcester. There are a small row of takeaways and shops that are within a 5 min walk. All our neighbours are friendly and pleasant. Worcester is an historic city, famed for its cathedral and old listed buildings located in the city centre. We call it the pretty City The river Severn flows through the heart of the city where you can either bike or have a stroll along the river to take in the great scenery also stop at one of the many pubs along the river!

Comfy Clean Double Room With Breakfast

Lovely big private doubleroom or smaller single room (or both) in nice and quiet flat located in old building with wooden frames very close to the Cathedral
My flat is within walking distance from city centre (around 5 minutes from Cathedral, 15 min from Foregate Train Station and 10 min from Asda). Local shops and fast foods are less than 3 min from my flat. You can stay either in double bedroom or in smaller single bedroom or both if you are group of 3. It is a nice and quiet place (don't worry about noise from London road, you won't hear it). Building is fairly old so there are wooden frames in the ceiling and kitchen floor is bit tilted at one place but it looks very nice - at least I like it. Master bedroom is in 2nd floor, with bathroom next to it and both bedrooms have door lock so you will have your privacy. Living room is merged with the kitchen and I have all kitchen equipment you might need (will buy microwave asap). There is also big flat 3D TV screen with Chromecast and WiFi so you can stream all your favourite videos via your smartphone or laptop. There is also HDMI cable and EU plugs (with UK adaptor). I recently moved to this flat so I am living here but because I am working everyday till 6pm at least and then I am in the city centre I decided to share my flat for other travellers. The flat has 2 bedrooms so I can easily accomodate 3 people. You can use everything in the flat, just not my personal belongings please. Flat has one bathroom and one living room/kitchen so these will be shared with me (if I am at home). I work 15 min walk from my flat so check in and check out is flexible but it would be better either before 8:30 am or after 6 pm. Parking is not available on the site, but there is street parking just few meters on the road uphill with no restrictions or road down hill 6pm to 8am for free or big car park on corner by traffic lights.
Lots of fast food places just few meters away from my flat, Yamaha motorcycle store and most important - Worcester Cathedral with High street and other city centre places.
  • Tom's place is perfectly located and has everything you want from an airbnb, including a warm, friendly and helpful host.

  • Ed is a lovely host and his home is extremely elegant and comfortable. The garden is tranquil and beautifully kept. It was a perfect stop-over but it would be great to stay longer!!

    Janet 2017-10-18T00:00:00Z
  • Ed was very understanding when we got stuck on the road and had to follow a detour, arriving much later than originally planned. He greeted us upon our arrival and showed us where to park. More importantly, due to the late hour and very long drive, he provided us with a hot drink and large glass of wine before saying good night for which we were very grateful. The room was large and spacious just as he described and the bed was very comfortable. We used the heated blanket both nights to warm the bed up and in the morning the central heating was lovely to wake up to. The bathroom likewise was spacious and the shower was powerful and offered lots of room to shower in. It is necessary to have a car but Ed's home is well situated for the countryside and for Worcester, Malvern and Bewdley. I would recommend a weekend or possibly three or four days.

    Roberta2016-09-11T00:00:00Z
  • A perfect stay for a wedding at the venue Curradine Barns. Whilst in Ed's home it feels like you have your own private space. Everything that you needed (torch and hairdryer included) was available and breakfast in the room after too much wedding wine was hugely appreciated. I would strongly recommend a relaxed and friendly stay with Ed and his family (inc his mum) who went above and beyond to make sure that we had the best time.

    Peter2017-08-20T00:00:00Z
  • The house was beautiful, a great find. Bedroom as good as we could have expected, and very comfy bed! We stayed here for a wedding reception at Curradine barns, and it was the perfect location. We walked from and to the venue, just under a mile. Ed and Patty were very accommodating, and very helpful and communicative. Thoroughly recommended.

    James2017-09-02T00:00:00Z
  • This is a beautiful, historic house located in the gorgeous English countryside. It was the perfect location to explore Stratford, Blists Hill Victorian Town and The Great Severn Railway. Our only regret was having to leave this lovely part of the world and all of the other places we didn't get to see. Ed and Patty are a down to earth, genuine and friendly couple who made us feel very welcome indeed, as did their two charming boys. not We loved the selection of pastries, fruits, bread and jam each morning and being able to make fresh coffee in a cafetiere was most welcome indeed. 5 star experience all round.

    Alan2017-08-27T00:00:00Z
  • Ed's place was so so beautiful and perfected located for a friend's wedding at Curradine barns! We especially enjoyed our continental breakfast sat overlooking the garden. Ed was the perfect host and we're really grateful for him letting us check in earlier to fit around our plans. Ed has thought of everything for his guests and we couldn't have asked for anything more. Hope to return one day!

  • Ed was fab and was in contact straight away. Their house was a amazing and very welcoming. As we are animal people it was great to see the chickens, cat and dog . Ed was very accommodating to us vegans. Would was clean and beautiful. Would highly recommend .

I am in a quiet area in Worcester. The estate I live on has Canadian names. It is 1.75 miles walk away from the town Centre. There is also a bus stop right outside the door. My home is a comfortable place and you will feel right at home. I look forward to meeting you. I can accommodate one more guest on a comfy camp bed in the lounge
Double room in a house which is walking distance to the Historic town of Worcester. HOST COULD ACCOMMODATE ANOTHER PERSON ON A COMFY CAMPBED IN THE FRONT ROOM. Worcester has Good Infrastructure Birmingham Airport is a 25 minutes train ride away for connecting flights into Europe. The Host is accommodating, friendly and when not working will show you around the place. Quiet house and plenty of room to chill. PS: The host will discuss a discounted price.
Its a quiet neighbour service well by public transport into worcester. You can also walk into town along the river. The house is a very comfortable 2 bedroomed bungalow. Spacious with all the mod cons. Worcester has one of the most beautiful cricket grounds in the country, it also has a BasketBall Team, a fantastic race course and Premiership Rugby Team. There is plenty to do both during the day and at night. It a very historical town and near to nearby beautiful Malvern with a fantastic walk over the mountains. Worcester itself is a wonderful town with a lot of restaurants and fantastic shopping. You won't be at a loss to have a fantastic visit to this beautiful county in the middle of the country.
  • Jan is a great host. Communication was great regarding location and food stops even before I got there. House was nice, clean and relaxing. Will stay again. Thanks Jan

  • My wife, mom and myself had an amazing stay at Jan's. It isn't too close to the centre but nevertheless there's a bus service leading to the city centre and the stop is right outside her house. We would have preferred to walk but as my mom was around we ended up taking the taxi (super cheap compared to the rates that we're used to in London) totalling to roughly £7 towards the city centre. We met Lionel to begin with and he was very welcoming too! Jan was very precise in helping us out with directions towards attractions around the area. Her manual at home contains full directions as well. Would definitely recommend her as a host!

  • This is a perfect place to stay and one we would definitely recommend. The apartment is beautifully decorated with lovely furniture, and was absolutely spotless. The room is very spacious and a lovely price to relax and unwind. The apartment has a brilliant location on a quiet picturesque road of Victorian and Edwardian villas with plenty of parking, but is only a 2 minute walk to the town centre Vanessa was the perfect host. She was always helpful and responded incredibly quickly to our messages. There were lots of thoughtful little touches which really made our stay.

    James2016-08-28T00:00:00Z
  • Vanessa is a wonderful host. She prepared a sublime appartement, tastefully decorated where we soon feel at home. Perfect details and plan to sort out our check-in, fresh roses on the table and plenty of delicate attentions. The studio is convenient, perfectly clean with all modern comfort for travelers like us. A wonderful stay, we would certainly recommend and try again for our next trip to Malvern!

    Claire2017-09-11T00:00:00Z
  • Really excellent location and everything is immaculately clean. The room was warm with additional heating if required. The separate bathroom is no big deal and should not put anybody off. Highly recommended.

  • Stunning studio flat in a beautiful area of Malvern. 5 minute walk from the town with plenty of residential parking outside the house. The room was flawless with tasteful decor, high ceilings and a nice comfy double bed. The exclusive bathroom is large, clean and comes with shower gel/shampoo and soft towels. This is down the hallway and remains locked when not in your use. Check in was very easy and this studio is excellent value for money. The only tiny fault is the WiFi isn’t very fast, I imagine as the router is too far away from the bedroom but this wasn’t a noticeable inconvenience. Beautiful place and wouldn’t hesitate to stay again.

    Simon2017-10-25T00:00:00Z
  • Lovely spot for a quick Get away. Clean, cosy and the hostess was helpful and kind.

Our recently extended house sits right alongside the River Severn situated at the end of a row of pretty Edwardian terraced houses 10 minutes from the historic Worcester city centre. There are numerous restaurants to choose from in the town centre as well as the surrounding area. There is also plenty of shopping, many historical sites including the famous Cathedral, beautiful walks and wonderful views. This place is charming we're sure you'll love it!
This is a small but cosy, clean and comfortable room with fitted wardrobes. These Edwardian terraced houses are much talked about and well known in the city. They were originally built due to their proximity to the world renowned Worcester Porcelain where you can still visit the museum just around the corner. The location of the house directly on the river gives this room a very peaceful and quiet overall feeling, despite being a short walk from the city centre. Perfect for getting away from it all in a beautiful rural city!

  • Lynn's house was very convenient for my stay, Very clean and very comfortable home, Beautiful walk along walkway of river Severn to shops or pubs, Nothing was too much trouble Lynn was all you need in the perfect host, and the walk up her long narrow garden to her house is beautiful.

  • Just stayed for one night prior to a business meeting in Worcester. Absolutely perfect for me in every way and amazing value. Lynn is a lovely host and has a super home viewing over the River Severn, and a short pleasant walk into town. Even had a croissant breakfast which was spot on for me. I have no hesitation in recommending this as a place to stay. It's my first experience of airbnb - I hope they're all as good! Rob (Stafford)

  • A lovely place to stay in a fabulous location by the river.

  • The house is in a fantastic location literally right on the river and just a few minutes walk from central Worcester. The room was comfortable, clean and (like the rest of the gorgeous house) beautifully furnished. We were welcomed warmly by Lynn's daughter Katie and had a lovely chat with Lynn over a delicious croissant breakfast in the morning. Highly recommend this place and would definitely stay again!

  • Lynn was an excellent and friendly host and has a lovely home. Everything was spot on. The location is brilliant and within an easy 5-8mins walk to the city centre. If you like running the bridge to bridge loop makes a nice jog along the river. I'd be surprised if anyone is disappointed staying here.

    Dominique2017-08-26T00:00:00Z
  • One of the best AirBnB experiences so far, Lynn is a great host, the place is quiet, clean and friendly. Also a good starting point for a nice jog around the river or sightseeing of Worcester.

  • A great flat in Malvern. Well equipped, very clean, well furnished/decorated comfortable and quiet. Free on street parking on the next road along. There is a really lovely garden to kick back in - our dog loved it as much as us! Pam & Dan were great hosts. Plenty of nice places to eat nearby- thai at The Red Lion is excellent ( we have eaten here several times before). The menu at The Nags Heads looks superb - we will sample next time but we found it just as good a place to relax with a drink. (It is literally a minute's walk from the flat.) There are lots of open green spaces to walk the dog nearby. Recommended accommodation in Malvern. We will definitely stay again.

  • Lovely place, helpful hosts. The flat is well appointed, spacious and quiet. You have your own entrance and use of a garden. Is better in real life than it looks in the photos! Easy walk to Great Malvern and into the hills. We'll be coming back!

  • Pam greeted us and showed us around then left us peacefully to ourselves. Place is cosy and beautiful. The views are stunning. Great Malvern is a lovely village with lots to see. Walks only 5 mins from the property. The garden apartment is quiet and off of the road and well well hidden from the outside. The bed is really comfy and kitchen is big with all modern appliances, perfect for staying in and cooking. Waitrose is only 10 mins away. Lovely big couch with large tv with lots of channels if you fancy just snuggling in. Lots of lamps for that cosy atmosphere. Great Wi-Fi too for those who need it. Thanks Pam and Dan for a really lovely stay.

  • Lovely flat, lovely view, lovely hosts... I was only staying for one night so I didn't really use the well appointed kitchen, but the bed was comfy and the kettle worked. The shower wasn't a power shower but the water was nice and hot. Couldn't have been a smoother stay.

    Marc2017-07-26T00:00:00Z
  • A fascinating and slightly quirky garden flat with stunning views. We were warmly welcomed by Pam and were very comfortable. Not for anyone with dodgy knees, though, as the steps down to the front door are quite steep. For anyone else an elegant and comfortable home from home.

    Kate2017-08-30T00:00:00Z
  • An excellent, well equipped ground floor flat with plenty of space and 'home comforts'

    Andrew2017-08-03T00:00:00Z
  • Right from the beginning communication was excellent. Upon arrival, I was given a warm welcome and shown around the flat. Beforehand I was a little concerned that I would be able to hear the traffic, but I need not have worried. As the flat is below the main house and looks out across the valley it is quiet and light. I enjoyed my stay and will be back.

  • What a beautiful cottage in a delightful setting. The décor is immaculate, it's well equipped with lovely views over open fields and the upstairs balcony is a real bonus. Perfect location for visiting the picturesque Malvern Hills (had some lovely walks). Jacqui was the perfect host, from contacting us prior to our visit with excellent directions, greeting us on arrival with useful local information and thoughtfully leaving us a tasty cake which was very welcome after a long journey. We all thoroughly enjoyed our stay and will definitely be returning. Many thanks Jacqui.

  • Beautiful property well located for exploring the area. Whole house is spaciously laid out with a well stocked kitchen. Scones on arrival were delicious and the garden area and barbecue were great additions. Jacqui was a great host on hand with recommendations but with the perfect amount of privacy granted to us.

  • Andrew's place is very good value for money, in a location very convenient for the University of Worcester St John's campus. It was clean and had everything I needed, including free wifi. The bed had a firm mattress, and there was good cupboard space and a kettle with tea and instant coffee and bottled water at bedside. The bathroom was shared, but was clean and Andrew provided towels. Andrew left basic breakfast makings out for me, and was very friendly and welcoming throughout my stay, but was also fine with my retiring to my room and didn't insist on chat. Not a posh mansion or period character property, but a perfectly fine place to lay my head for a couple of days, and excellent value.

  • Andrew was a fantastic host! Defo booking again!!

  • Andrew was a great host, he was extremely kind and gave us a short tour of where we were staying before we settled into the room where we were sleeping. Upon Arrival, we were provided with Towels, Coffee, Tea, Sugar, Sweeteners, Milk, and Biscuits, as well as a kettle. The bathroom was easily accessible, as was the property. I would Recommend this place to anyone and we will hope to come again!

We are ideally situated for visits to Stratford famous for William Shakespeare and Worcester for it’s shopping or Cathedral. Warwick Castle (Medieval) and Eastnor Castle (Turn of the last Century) are fine of English country estates. Croome Court and Ragley Hall, with their gardens designed by the famous Capability Brown; such a shame he never got to see the finished articles of which only time can mature. The Cotswold’s & The Malvern’s are both easily accessible with famous walks and cycle paths. Golf, fishing and horse riding available locally. The house is ideally located for getting around the Worcestershire/ Warwickshire countryside and exploring the outstanding area of natural beauty of the North Cotswold’s.
  • In advance of our stay Sandra provided great information not only about arrival and keys, but the area and it's amenities, including post codes which made sat nav easy. The barn itself is lovely inside. the facilities and furnishing were beyond expectations for self catering. The barn is very private in it's own fenced in grounds, with a great view over the lawn and adjoining paddock. If we head that way again, we'd definitely use Pillar Box Barn.

  • A warm welcome to high quality accommodation in a peaceful location.

  • Very easy to arrange an arrival time, the barn was stunning and very comfortable a home from home.

  • Sandra was a wonderful host. Check in was brief and she literally left us to it for the duration of our stay, contacting us by text to make sure we were comfortable. We even had a bottle of Prosecco and a card waiting when we arrived to help us celebrate our anniversary! The barn is beautifully decorated. We felt like we were staying in a luxury hotel (aside from having to cook for ourselves). If you're looking for a luxurious, quiet escape, Pillar Box is perfect! We visited nearby Stratford and Anne Hathaway's cottage and had a wonderful breakfast at the Twisted Spoon. So much to see and do within half an hour drive. We can't recommend it enough

  • This is a converted small barn, spacious and well-equipped with 2 bedrooms on mezzanine floors at either end. Full kitchen and washing machine. The barn is part of a small holding that includes 2 horses, 2 dogs and a very friendly black cat. There are several small villages and towns nearby and plenty of walking trails across farm land. Charming rural spot.

Historic Worcester In 2015 Worcester was ranked in the top ten UK cities for heritage. Beating places like York and Bath. Boasting a beautiful Norman Cathedral it has strong and identifiable musical, cultural and industrial heritage. Originally a Roman settlement and then a burgh of Alfred the Great; fortified against Viking raiders along the River Severn, Worcester began to thrive once the city became part of an episcopal see and had a bishop. King John of Magna Carta fame, - whose favoured hunting ground was Feckenham Forest; covering most of Worcestershire at the time - is buried at his own request in the cathedral chancel. He was flanked by the shrines and tombs of St. Oswald and St. Wulfstan until they were destroyed during the Reformation. Worcester Cathedral is also the final resting place of the brother of King Henry VIII, Prince Arthur; as well as former British Prime Minister Stanley Baldwin. The old city is built upon a medieval street pattern and the streets tended to be named after the trade or business that went on there. Look out for: Needlers Street; Fish Street; Silver Street; The Shambles (where meat was sold); Cooken Street (street of the cooks); the Cattlemarket; the Cornmarket; the Hopmarket. Cooken Street was renamed Copenhagen Street in honour of Lord Nelson's visit in 1802. Friar Street and New Street used to be called Glovers Street. Glove manufacturing employed 8,000 to 10,000 people in Worcester at its peak. The Fownes Hotel used to be a Glove Factory. The best remains of the old city walls can be seen along the river, and along City Wall's Road. New plaques locating the old city gates can be seen dotted around these walls. There nine in total, counting the Watergate by the Cathedral. Shakespeare allegedly married Anne Hathaway in Worcester in 1582 at St.Martin's Church to avoid a scandal in Stratford, as she was pregnant at the time! The first and last battles of the English Civil War were fought at Worcester. The first encounter in 1642 was a skirmish involving Prince Rupert on Powick Fields, to the west of the city. The last battle was a bloody affair, with thousands killed in fierce fighting outside the Sidbury Gate, as well as through the city streets. The future King Charles II made his escape from the city on the 3rd September 1651 from a place you can still visit; as it is a public house selling fine food and drink. Legend has it that Cromwell made a pact with the devil to secure his victory at Worcester, as he died 7 years to the day after his triumph, on September 3rd 1658. As committed republicans, US Presidents to be, Thomas Jefferson and John Adams, saw Worcester as a beacon for liberty and democracy, and came on a pilgrimage to the city in 1786. Other famous visitors to Worcester include Elizabeth I and George III, who came to attend the Three Choirs Festival in 1788 and wasn't allowed to leave by notorious gate keeper Robert Sleuth until he paid the road toll! Sir Edward Elgar lived at 2 College Precincts, and is reckoned to have played in the Cathedral Cloisters as a small boy. His father and uncle had a music shop on the High Street (demolished) and although brought up a Roman Catholic, Elgar often skipped Church where his father played the organ, to listen to music more of his liking in the Cathedral. Local Attractions The longest-running classical musical festival in the world is the triennial Three Choirs Festival held at Worcester Cathedral and the arts are well-represented by productions staged at the nearby Swan Theatre, Huntingdon Hall and Malvern Theatres. There are numerous venues for gigs and live music across the city. The Vue cinema is just around the corner. The Ghostwalk, currently with stops at the Guildhall and the Commandery is worth the money. Worcester City Art Gallery and Museum is on the Tything and houses a collection started by Sir Charles Hastings founder of the British Medical Association (BMA). Tudor House and Greyfriars are located on Friar Street. The world-famous Lea and Perrins Worcestershire Sauce is still blended and bottled in the city. The Royal Worcester Porcelain Museum is a two minute walk away and is located on the China Works Severn Street site, visited by Admiral Lord Nelson in 1802 where he placed a large order for the ‘Horatia service'. Unfortunately, he never received it all before being mortally shot at the moment of his great triumph: Trafalgar 1805. The annual Hay-on-Wye literature festival which former US President Bill Clinton called ‘The Woodstock of the mind' is about an hour away. As far as restaurants, pubs, clubs and bars are concerned there are many. Most of them are within easy walking distance. Enjoy a pint in Worcester's oldest pub, The Cardinal's Hat which dates from the 14th century. Explore the wine and cocktail bars dotted along the medieval streets, or enjoy fine dining in one of the city's great restaurants; many of which use locally sourced produce, from a county increasingly renowned as a home for food and drink. Worcester is reckoned to have some of the best shopping in the West Midlands, with a superb mix of high quality brand name stores and independent artisans to choose from. The city has several impressive sporting venues. County cricket is a short walk across the River Severn to the new and improved New Road Ground where Basil D'Olivera, Ian Botham and Graeme Hick used to play. The University Arena - also across the river – hosts British Basketball League matches. Professional rugby union side Worcester Warriors play at Sixways Stadium located at junction 6 of the M5. Worcester racecourse is also within walking distance and the best jump racing in the world can be found at Cheltenham adjacent to the Cotswolds, 25 miles away. There are some fantastic, traffic free riverside walks in Worcester. The Malvern Hills, The Cotswolds and The Shropshire Hills –all Areas of Outstanding Natural Beauty – are all within easy reach, and boast some of the best scenery, walking and activities of all levels anywhere in Britain.

  • Perfect location: short walk to train station at Foregate St and the regional bus hub, shopping, pubs and the cultural attractions. The Cathedral is literally a chip shot from the front door under the gaze of Elgar's statue. A generous greeting package of coffee, wine and cake, a fully equipped house, two gracious, responsive hosts, a well stocked bookcase, spotless conditions all add up to one of our best AIRBNB experiences. We hesitate to say more because we want availability for the next trip!

  • I can only say glowing things about our stay here! We had an amazing stay. On arrival we were met by Guy and the welcome package, children's Xmas presents, children's cot, highchair, plates.. truely wonderful hosts and felt like home from home. We have a 4 and 2 yr old and Guy kindly organised an Xmas tree in the house for the kids. Nothing was ever too much trouble! We hosted Xmas dinner for our Family and will fondly remember this holiday. The house is immaculate and has possibly everything you could ever need! We look forward to stay here again next time we visit Family!

  • We loved Guy's cottage. It was charming, cozy and clean. Everything was working well. There were quite a few nice corners to sit and read in the house. It's also very well stocked. The location couldn't be better - very close to the centre of town so all the restaurants and cafes. At the same time it's nice and quiet as it is right next to the cathedral and the river. Guy was an ideal host - friendly, attentive and responsive. Would highly recommend.

  • I sent my parents for a night getaway on the fantastic french bus! Lyn & Michael were great and personable from day one - helpful with restaurant recommendation, sat nav info etc. I got a message from my parents as soon as they arrived to tell me how 'unbelievable pretty' the whole set up was. They said they had a fantastic time and the bus was amazing (they also said that myself and my fiance should definitely visit!). My parents had a wonderful time and were surprised with warm croissants and fresh fruit in the morning - a lovely touch! I'm sure they would recommend that everyone visit Michael & Lyn and their wonderful bus!

  • My girlfriend and I had a fantastic weekend here. Mick was so helpful and delivered some fresh croissants to us each morning which were delicious. We had a great explore around the area, visiting both Tewkesbury and Pershore. Even when it was freezing outside, the bus was very cosy, a perfect destination for a weekend retreat!!! A fully fitted kitchen also meant we could cook in the evening. Mick was so friendly and more than willing to offer help or advice if we needed it. One of our best AirBnB trips to date!!

It is in striking and walking distance of the famous Malvern Hills, it is also in walking distance from the Town of Malvern itself and it is very easy to find from the M5 Motorway.
